We went to listen to live music last Saturday with our guests, the food was very good in terms of taste and presentation, the atmosphere was very good and we were welcomed very warmly. From now on, we will always be here at Diyar Tavern 👍

Food was great, service too. We sat near the toilets, which unfortunately we could smell. When I went to the ladies' room I wanted to leave - it really needs to be renovated. Basically clean, but the facility is old and that can't be covered up with scent. My colleagues felt the same way.

I had a shepherd's plate with sheep's cheese. I've never had a bit of grated cheese as sheep's cheese. Small, too expensive for €9.80. The toppings for the dishes are larger and better garnished. Only one waiter for the whole place. He was overwhelmed and inattentive.

We were in a restaurant with friends and wanted to have a delicious dinner. And we succeeded! There is a choice for both vegetarians and meat lovers. We had a glass of white Turkish wine - it was excellent. I really liked the atmosphere, it was cozy, and the candle on the table added romanticism. And the presentation of dishes is an art, thank you very much to the chef! Pleasant staff, left positive emotions! I would like to return to Diyar again!

Great service, good and varied selection, delicious, freshly prepared food. We were there for lunch and even though there were 8 of us, the food came quickly and at the end there was baklava and Turkish tea. Highly recommended!

Food was average quality, not bad, but nothing to write home about and a bit on the pricey side for that. While the service was friendly, it was sadly very lacking at the same time. One of our mains was forgotten. The other mains took several minutes between each of them to arrive at the table. We tried three separate times to order more drinks. Eventually three of the 5 we ordered arrived, but two of them were wrong. The rest never showed up despite repeatedly reminding our waiter. We eventually just paid and left.

We had a very pleasant evening. The food was excellent and the price-performance ratio was overall good. We can only recommend it and we will be back!

Well, I was there many years ago and it tasted much better. I saw an advertisement on Instagram and thought the chef had changed. Flesh like stone, you can't chew it. After an 80 euro bill, I went to the other restaurant and it was great and went to bed full. So I definitely won't come back after many years. Never again, unless the chef is replaced with someone who knows meat. Service was OK

Very tasty restaurant. The outside area right next to the street is impressive and gives the feeling of being in the middle of the city. The old houses give the impression of being in Berlin and other big cities. The food is very tasty, not exactly cheap but perfectly prepared and worth the price.

We had their breakfast and it was wonderful! We recommend it to anyone. Great atmosphere, good service. We arrived a little too early. I recommend arriving after 11am. We will definitely go back there.

For the first time in Germany, the best meat is here. The food is really great, the employees are very friendly. One of the few places I recommend in Munich. If you are looking for taste, I recommend you to eat from the hands of Master Ersan.

Ich kann euch dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen, die Küche ist top! Wir wurden super lieb vom Kellner bedient, die Sympathie spielt eine sehr große Rolle. Zu dem haben wir uns bei der schönen Atmosphäre sehr wohl gefühlt und wussten direkt das wir bald wieder kommen wollen mit der ganzen Familie, weil man einfach warm und gerne empfangen wird.

The people are very nice and the food arrives fast. However the food was nothing great. It is not bad but I would not pay honestly 20 € for a bit of plain lamb meat cooked in the hoven (and reheated), a cup of white rice, four tomatoes, some field salad and a joghurt as only sauce. In Turkey you can eat much better and I can prepare the dish of yesterday by myself without going in a restaurant

Feine türkische und kurdische Spezialitäten. Man schmeckt die Hingabe umd die Kochkunst des Kochs. Ich empfehle den Lammrücken. Es gibt auch leckere vegetarische Gerichte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man bekommt hier sehr guten türkischen Mokka. Ein Besuch im Diyar ist immer was Gutes.

Wir wohnen etwas außerhalb von München und kommen deshalb nicht so oft nach München. Deshalb wussten wir auch nicht das die Wirtsleute seid einem Jahr einen neuen Koch haben. Die Taverna war immer schon sehr gut, jetzt ist das Restaurant der Hammer. Seht Euch vor allem auch die Wochenkarte an. Ich hatte gestern ein gefülltes Huhn in das ich mich hineinsetzen könnte - soooo lecker 😋 Und der Service ist freundlich wie immer. Herzlichen Dank
