This is the best authentic Greek food in Berlin! I have been to over 10 different Greek restaurants in Berlin and this one is my favorite! The whole experience was amazing. We ordered an appetizer, two seafood dishes, and dessert which were all delightful. I highly recommend!

Going to this restaurant transported me back to Athens! The best Greek food I have eaten in Berlin. The atmosphere and staff lifted the spirits and the food was spectacular. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Getting old, staff was nice. The food was subpar and the prices were ridiculous! My meal, the 77, was only lukewarm! My wife's, pork, was very dry. The prices are TOO HIGH for the quality and the ambience! I cannot recommend this restaurant! We will never eat here again! That was our experience and opinion!

It was very tasty, the bread is homemade, the service is very friendly. The beer is rather mediocre, but that's not why you go to the Greek restaurant...

We had a great evening, with delicious food and friendly staff. Unfortunately it is a bit narrow and therefore noisy, but the quality of the food is good and you don't fill up on ouzo unnecessarily.

Highly recommended! The service is super kind, they were super nice with our son and the waiters were pretty professional. The food was also pretty yummy. You cannot go and not order Gyros Metaxa 🤤

This is exactly how we ate in Greece! The table full of starters is more than enough. Great ambience and very good service. There was a dessert for free, as well as the Ouso. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back.

Today on Sunday December 15th, 2024... Well, I like to go to Greek places, but I was totally disappointed here. No waiter asked if it tasted good. When we talked about it in the group, we realized that no one liked it. The place is not special. Old shed and the prices are not reasonable. We are very sorry that we can only give 1 point. Unfortunately never here again...

Unfortunately it has diminished significantly. Immediately after setting you are sold water that is completely overpriced. Then unfortunately only mediocre to bad food. It's a shame we won't be coming back

Turns out to be a little “insider tip”. Very attentive service, super tasty food (tip: gyros in Metaxa sauce) and fair prices. It wasn't crowded during our visit and was very pleasant. A small dessert came as a small gift. Great. Not around the corner from where we live but definitely worth the trip.

When you enter the restaurant you have the impression that it is a tavern in Greece. The seating, tablecloths (green checkered) and the decoration are very similar to the original. The food could be a tad better.

This is a cozy place where you can eat well and plentifully after strolling through Friedrichshagen and taking a walk along Müggelsee. The service is friendly and very attentive.👍

We were there for team day. Although we didn't make a reservation (15 people) because something went wrong, we were treated very well and didn't have to wait long for something to eat or drink. Nice waiters and the atmosphere was nice. Thanks for that.

I spontaneously decided to try this “Greek” one Friday lunchtime. The warm welcome and the cozy atmosphere immediately contributed to my well-being. The pre-salad was OK, but the toasted bread was sensationally delicious. My mixed plate of chicken, suflaki, gyros, tzatziki and rice noodles were also very tasty. I even liked the free ouzo. See you again soon....Update July 19th, 2024 The bad reviews in the last 4 weeks worried me a bit. Should the quality of the food and service have dropped so much??? No, she wasn't! Waiters friendly, food delicious as always. Only the crusty bread was replaced with a normal baguette. A pity.

You always have a feeling of vacation there. The ambience + the quiet Greek music go together perfectly. The food is always delicious and the traditional dessert rounds it off very tasty.

The food was rich and very tasty. I had a chicken skewer that was very tender. For the vegans among us we had eggplant stuffed with vegetables, which was also exquisite. Intolerances (gluten) are taken into account. It's lovely to sit outside, you actually feel like you're in a Greek oasis. We were given a dessert by the host, which was very accommodating. The staff is very friendly and joking. In short: We'd love to come back, it's fun - you can switch off and eat well here.

It was okay, we ordered the Greek menu for 4 people, there was a lot to eat but there was no instructions or overview of what was to come and what was already ready, it was a bit poorly organized and we didn't really feel welcome be. Which was a shame.

Oh man, he used to be such a great Greek! But now that the new owner is in, it's really bad. Went there again today to see if things had gotten better. But unfortunately no. Very unfriendly canteen atmosphere. Gyros just fatty gristle meat. Not a single ouzo! No thanks for the tip, despite everything paid. We don't go there anymore.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed, price/performance outrageous. Service was very unfriendly at the beginning, after I asked the waiter for a smile it went away. The portions were very clear and some of the meat and fish were not well cooked. It's a shame... it was our late Christmas party.

The service was like a check-in and was by no means friendly! There wasn't even an Uso as usual at the Greeks. The food was overpriced and didn't taste anything special.

We got the tip from friends and were not disappointed. After a short Müggelsee tour, Estin Taverna the Greek went. All I can say is that you immediately felt like you were in Greece. Nice starters, we particularly enjoyed the sardines, then salmon and a Corfu plate. If something remains on the plate at the end, it is automatically prepared to take away. Thank you for a lovely Greek afternoon in the middle of Friedrichshagen.

Best restaurant!! The people are friendly, the food is wonderful. It's really different than the treatment you get in this region (especially if you're not German).

Was delicious. A bit higher prices, but also a sufficient portion. When you're on Monday, you don't want to get hungry in the hotel at night.

Food top, service flop: First there was bean soup instead of chicken soup, then white beans instead of green beans and at the end we were told to please pay in cash because the device had already been “closed” - five minutes earlier we paid with a card at the next table...

Very nice restaurant with a great ambience. Built like a Greek tavern, you quickly forget your surroundings and immerse yourself in Hellas. Very good food, generously prepared. No ordinary fries. Only the service was slow: a long wait for the card and for the order to be placed.

We went ice skating nearby. On the way to the car we noticed this Greek restaurant (a bit inconspicuous from the outside) and since we like eating Greek, we couldn't miss it. What can I say, the food was simply delicious! The service was friendly and accommodating. It was our first impression and we were definitely not there for the last time. Thumbs up, keep it up.

Since we have been living in Friedrichshagen, we have always enjoyed coming here alone or with family and friends. We always receive a friendly welcome. It is always advisable to make a reservation, regardless of whether it is winter or summer. But we also try to make everything possible for spontaneous visitors. As soon as it gets warmer outside, you can sit outside. In our opinion, the food, service and value for money are excellent.

We had GrillPlate for 2 and it was great, but the waiters were constantly around the table and were in a hurry to take orders and clear the table and it made feel uncomfortable.

It was really nice. Delicious food and very big portion. The personal was polite and friendly. They have a children Menu whit name like Pinocchio, Goofy and more.

5 verschiedene Kellner für einen Tisch, die nicht wissen, was der andere jeweils gemacht hat 🤦‍♂️ Das nervt nicht nur extremst, sondern ist auch höchst unprofessionell. Das Essen ging so, aber nichts außergewöhnliches. Eine viertel gefüllte Aubergine wurde in Zwiebeln und halben Knoblauchzehen ertränkt. Dafür 12€ zu verlangen, ist eine Schweinerei. Und bei der Rechnung stand bei mir auf einmal „Gyros Metaxa“, obwohl ich „Soutzoukakia Saltsa“ (Nr.95) hatte 🤦‍♂️ Der Kellner meinte, dass das derselbe Preis ist und ich hab mich mit dieser Antwort zufrieden gegeben. Zu Hause sah ich dann, dass „Gyros Metaxa“ 17,80€ und meine Nr. 95 17,50€ gekostet hat. 1 Stern ist hier noch zu viel! Einzig das Ambiente ist vom Anschein her ganz nett. Das beste war das griechische Bier „Mythos“ aus der Flasche und der Ouzo aufs Haus, der für mich aber kein Muss ist.
