Food is delicious and prices are ok!

The decor is pretty. The service was super sweet and attentive. In terms of taste, I found the grill plate to be so-so, everything tasted a bit bland. However, the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. For €26.90, so little on the plate, including my husband's fish plate, we actually went to McDonald's afterwards... We eat out a lot, despite the increased prices at the moment... there's definitely a different way!! I wouldn't go back.

You can sit outside and inside. Nice staff. The food was very tasty. Had nice salad and rabbit in garlic sauce. Large portion. Delicious non-alcoholic cocktail. Definitely come back.

It was great. For the fifth time and we got a class paella! Unfortunately they are a bit understaffed but that is due to today's times and has nothing to do with the taste and hospitality of the owner. We feel comfortable and well served here, a piece of Spain in Heikendorf.

This was our third time at the "Taverna del Mar", Heikendorf. Among other things, we ate: Champiñones al Ajo, Albondigas Españolas, Chorizos fritos, Gambas al Ajo, Paella de Carne, Crema Catalana. The quality and taste of the dishes was impeccable and having lived in Spain for a long time, I can definitely judge this. By the way, when you go out for a Spanish meal, you shouldn't be in a hurry and give the cook the time he needs. The “Taverna del Mar” is highly recommended.

This Spanish eatery is constructed around an open staircase. The service staff have to go up or down at least half a flight of stairs for each journey to the kitchen and counter. Visually, however, the facility is convincing. Anyone who knows how tapas are offered in Germany will not be surprised here. The quality of the food is at least good average. However, there were too few staff available during our visit and unfortunately that really became noticeable. I don't blame the forces, but if you have to stay half an hour longer just to be able to pay, that's just not ideal.

Our visit to Taverna Del Mar was a culinary experience in a class of its own. We were warmly welcomed from the start and immediately felt at home in the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. For main courses we chose the grill platter and rump steak, and we were not disappointed. The grill plate was a real revelation: juicy pieces of meat, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Every component, be it the tender lamb, the spicy steak or the aromatic chicken, was completely convincing. The rump steak was another highlight of the evening. It was excellently prepared, crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender and juicy on the inside. The quality of the meat was noticeable, and it was perfectly medium-rare, exactly as ordered. Fresh side dishes were served which complemented the dish harmoniously. The service was impeccable - attentive, friendly and always with a smile. Overall, our evening at Taverna Del Mar was a feast for the senses. The excellent cuisine, the attentive service and the pleasant atmosphere make this restaurant a real insider tip. We can't wait to come back and be pampered again. Many thanks to the entire team at Taverna Del Mar for this unforgettable evening! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the food. Unfortunately, a second/third drink order also went very slowly. The staff was friendly but not on point.

It was my first time eating in the restaurant and I have to admit that the food was very good. The boss and the staff were very sweet and nice. If I visit Kiel again, I will most likely come across this restaurant again.

We had to wait over an hour for our food and it wasn't even good. The meat was not prepared well in terms of taste. (Delicious is something else) We simply expected more for the money. Then another beggar came in and waited next to us and wanted money while we ate. There are no staff larger than this. Unfortunately it was a zero number...

Paella was really delicious and the vanilla cocktail was just perfect. And the toilets were also clean and well maintained. At the end there was a small nightcap and the portions were enough for everyone to be completely full. We'd love to come back.

Today we were here for the first time. The food here is super delicious. The dessert in particular is lovingly prepared.

Unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour for food and drinks. Our reservation also went under. Unfortunately the food that was brought was incomplete. We had to eat the tapas without plates. According to the waitress, these were supposed to be brought to us straight away, but that didn't happen. Ultimately there was no discount, on the contrary, even the forgotten order was charged. Conclusion: Great atmosphere, but too much money for a very disappointing evening.

Today I ate a sensational fish platter with rosemary potatoes and a great salad and my husband had an excellent steak. Everything was lovingly decorated with fresh flowers. It tasted very good and we will definitely come back!

This evening we had a very tasty meal at Nizar's again. And the homemade chocolate souflee is an absolute feast for the eyes and palate! Simply sensational! It is always a pleasant stay with the lovely Nizar and his friendly staff.

Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff! The sanitary facilities are also absolutely clean. The food tasted really good, we ate tapas and were very full. The price-performance ratio is absolutely convincing. There was even a greeting from the kitchen to try. The cocktails also taste fantastic! There is a large parking lot opposite the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Wir (2 Personen) waren an einem Mittwoch im Oktober 2023, gleich zur Öffnung um 1700 Uhr dort. Es hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten eine gemischte Paella, zwei Bier und zwei Anis (plus 2 aufs Haus). Die Paella war wirklich lecker, für uns etwas zu viel. Leider stören mich allgemein in den Restaurants (auch hier) zwei Dinge: 1. Es gibt seit Corona kein Salz, Pfeffer (Öl) mehr am Tisch. 2. Die Bedienung hat den "Rundblick über die Gäste" nicht mehr drauf. Wer noch etwas bestellen möchte oder zahlen will muss rufen oder hinterher laufen. Das war früher besser. Sonst war aber alles ok, wir kommen gern wieder !

Wir hatten heute Paella für vier Personen. War sehr lecker aber schon ein bisschen wenig für vier Personen. Preis Leistung passt hier nicht.

Die Gerichte sind mega lecker, auch die Bedienung, aber die Junge Kellnerin die zum Schluss kam ging gar nicht. Kein Bitte, kein Danke fürs Trinkgeld, am Nebentisch den Teller mit Salat vor den Kunden geworfen. Das geht nicht. Der Service ist das A und O für die Gastronomie.

Sehr netter und Großzügiger Service. Neben einem Eis für die Kinder auf‘s Haus gabs eine leckere vegetarische Paella die wir hier sehr empfehlen können! Danke für den schönen Abend.

Ich habe selten so gutes Kaninchen gegessen. Meine Frau hatte eine warme Tapas-Platte und war auch sehr zufrieden. Wir können das Lokal uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Das Lokal ist relativ neu. Es hat eine geschmackvolle, gemütliche Einrichtung auf zwei verschiedenen Ebenen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, große Auswahl an Tapas und anderen Tellergerichten. Wir hatten Tapas: Sehr lecker!

Wir waren zu 6 am Freitag zum Tapas Essen da und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen , es gab Live Musik (nur Freitags) , das Essen war Lecker und das Ambiente schön , wir haben uns wie in Spanien gefüllt, leider kamen die Tapas Gerichte zu Langsam bzw erst auf Nachfrage , wir hatten aber immer Getränke und beim Essen und der Chef gelobt Besserung , wir kommen wieder

Der Abend war sehr schön dort das Essen war super ausser beim Grillteller leider das Fleisch trocken. Der Service war sehr nett und sehr bemüht er war leider alleine die Wartezeiten deshalb länger und deshalb drumherum nicht so schön mit leeren Gläsern auf den Tischen.Aber werden nochmal wieder kommen und hoffen das dann mehr Personal am Start ist und es dann besser läuft.

Sehr nett, viel Platz ,nette Bedienung gutes Essen und sogar Freitags spanische Livemusik zum Abschluss noch ein Schnaps aufs Haus bekommen immer wieder keine Frage 🤗💪👍🏼

Alles war sehr gut. Das Essen und die Getränke waren SUPER. Ich kann es nur empfelen.

Ich war mit einer Freundin da, wir haben Tapas bestellt, die waren wirklich sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet und die Portionen waren definitiv nicht zu klein. Zum Nachtisch hatten wir auch noch Crema Catalana, das war auch sehr gut. Uns hat es außerdem sehr gefreut, dass die Küche hier bis 22 Uhr geöffnet hat😅 Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und freundlich. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend, wir kommen wieder!

Das Ambiente vom Restaurant ist wirklich sehr gelungen und wirklich schön. Die Bedienung ist auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Haben das erste Mal hier gegessen. Die Tapas und Gerichte sind wirklich sehr lecker. Haben zu viert alles geteilt, sowohl Tapas und auch die „Teller“- Gerichte. Zu den Desserts: Es werden zwei angeboten und beides sind richtige Kunstwerke, vor allem das Panna Cotta wurde so schön angerichtet. Werden auf jedenfalls nochmals wieder kommen. Kann ich wirklich nur jedem empfehlen. 😇

Richtig gutes Essen und mega cooles Ambiente Coole Livemusik

Wir waren rund um zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker - wir haben Tellergerichte (Lachs, Tintenfisch, Hähnchen und Salat) bestellt und mit einigen Tapas ergänzt. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und lädt zu einem langen Abendessen ein. (5-Sterne beim ersten Besuch). Wir waren jetzt erneut in Taverna Del Mar essen. Auch dieses Mal war das Essen super und auch das Ambiente bleibt toll. Leider ist der Service sehr schwach. Die Bedingung ist zwar freundlich, aber leider auch sehr unaufmerksam. Die Getränke konnten wir zu Beginn und als das Essen kam bestellen, sonst hat leider niemand nachgefragt. Ebenso lange mussten wir warten, bis der Tisch abgeräumt wurde. (Max. 3- Sterne)

Tolles Ambiente und super leckere Speisen, preislich vollkommen in Ordnung.

Die Tapas sind gut, der Rest ist im Geschmak überhaupt nicht spanisch, nur mit Salz und Pfeffer gewürzt. Das Personal ist nett, könnte aber etwas aufmerksamer sein. Preise sind okay.

Waren heute das Erste Mal dort und sind begeistert. Das Essen war mega, vor allem die Lammkoteletts und der Artischocken Gemüseteller! Ambiente ist wirklich sehr angenehm, die Kellnerinnen waren super lieb und haben sich toll um uns gekümmert. Ich denke mal das einige negative Bewertungen vom Anfang sind, wo das Restaurant gerade eröffnet hatte, deswegen das beschriebene „Chaos“ ( was auch meiner Meinung gerade zu Beginn einer Eröffnung total normal und nachvollziehbar ist ). Wir haben auch 2mal was aufs Haus bekommen! Für uns war es eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung und freuen uns schon wenn wir das nächste mal da sind !

Sehr leckeres Essen, gerne wieder

Eigentlich wollten wir in eine andere Tapas-Bar im Ort, aber durch ein Mißverständnis landeten wir an einem Samstag gegen 19 Uhr in der Taverna Del Mar. Hier hat es uns anfangs ganz gut gefallen - es ist modern und stilvol eingerichtet ohne es an Gemütlichkeit fehlt. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs war die Taverna knapp zur Hälfte gefüllt. Nachdem unsere erste Runde Getränke aufgenommen und zeitnah geliefert wurde, orderten wir diverse Tapasgerichte. Auch diese wurden relativ zeitnah gereicht. Allerdings mussten wir feststellen, das einiges doppelt, anderes gar nicht dabei war. Egal - wir waren zu zehnt und hatten Hunger - da wird schon alles unterkommen. Geschmacklich war alles dabei - sehr leckere Kartoffeln und Datteln im Speckmantel, feurige Chorizos (die, obwohl unappetitlich im Fett schwimmend, für sich widerum etwas trocken waren), eine Fischplatte mit weitestgehend geschmacksneutralen, frittierten Sardellen, zu denen leider kein Aioli o.ä. gereicht wurde, Tintenfischringe im sehr fettigen Teigmantel sowie billig wirkenden, schwarzen Oliven, die ungenießbar waren. Was gar nicht ging war das, was als Serrano-Schinken serviert wurde. Ich würde behaupten, Art und Name sind geschützt - was wir bekamen erinnerte eher an angebratenen Bacon - und schmeckte auch mehr wie dieser. Leider wurde während des Essens nicht gefragt, ob wir denn noch alle mit Getränken versorgt wären. Erst mit dem Abräumen konnten wir eine zweite Runde bestellen. Eine dritte Runde Getränke haben wir dann kurzerhand an der Theke bestellt, wo das Personal sich an seinen Smartfons eingefunden hatte. Versuche, zwischendurch per Blickkontakt oder Handzeichen auf uns aufmerksam zu machen schlug sowohl bei uns als auch an Nebentischen fehl - zu groß war die Konkurrenz durch die kleinen, digitalen Wegbegleiter. So gingen wir schließlich auch mit der Bitte zahlen zu können wieder initiativ auf die verträumte Plauschrunde am Tresen zu. Resümierend hat die Taverna Del Mar uns nicht abgeholt - das Essen hatte Höhen aber auch Tiefen, der Service war unterdurchschnittlich, die Preise dafür aber eher nach oben orientiert.

Nette, gemütliche Einrichtung. Personal jung aber bemüht und nett. Keine Hunde erlaubt. Wir hatten ca. 10 verschiedene Tappas. Es war ok, aber billige Zutaten (schwarzgefärbte oliven statt echter, reifer Oliven, Paprika bitter). Wirkt ehr wie konfektionierte Portionen. Von einem spanischen Restaurant erwarte ich bessere Tappas und vor allen qualitativ gute Zutaten. Preis/Leistung zu teuer. Das in normalen Restaurant eigentlich nie Bio, Tierwohl oder regional anzutreffen ist, ist ja derzeit leider noch so. Insbesondere aus dem Land, wo regional eigentlich naheliegend dürfte

Ich hatte nur Salat ( ganz wenig Dressing) und Pommes ( fett und labberig). Bei den anderen war das Essen auch nicht gut oder besonders. Nicht wieder 👎

Habe jetzt zum vierten Mal dort gegessen. Das Essen war immer super, das Personal immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Beim vierten Mal gab es viel Chaos, weil ein neuer Mitarbeiter alles durcheinander gebracht und es alles länger gedauert hatte. Die übrigen Mitarbeiter waren bemüht das Chaos zu beherrschen und sehr entgegenkommend. Jederzeit wieder.
