Fährhuus in Heikendorf

Leckere Tapas, große Auswahl, die Terrasse ein nettes Fleckchen um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen bei leckeren Tapas

Aufgrund der Wetterlage hatten wir im Innenbereich einen Tisch. Die Begrüßung war freundlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr clean, wenn nicht kühl. Nur die landestypische Musik und der Blick auf die Förde sorgen für den dritten Stern. Das Essen war teilweise gut und teilweise leider nicht so gut, weil nur lauwarm und/oder lieblos gewürzt. Auf einer Tafel wurde ein Schokoladensouflee mit Pistazien und Rotweinsoße beworben. Tatsächlich wurde das Fertigprodukt, dass man mittlerweile gefühlt an jeder Ecke bekommt. Schokoladenkuchen mit flüssigem Kern. Weit weg von einem Souflee. Die Pistazien hatte ich auch vergeblich gesucht. Die Rotweinsoße hats dann auch nicht mehr gerettet. Das Ganze für 7,90 € hatte ich dann leider als Frechheit empfunden. Das Servicepersonal war nicht besonders aufmerksam und gut und mit sich selbst beschäftigt. Als wir Dessert und Kaffee hatten, stand teilweise immer noch das Tapas-Geschirr auf dem Tisch. Ich war jetzt zweimal hier, das erste und letzte Mal. Sorry, von mir keine Weiterempfehlung, daher gut gemeinte drei Sterne.

Erster Besuch hier, oh haben wir leider nicht, ...ah das ist leider aus, ... Das ist auch nicht da..... Ok, essen war trotzdem gut Kann ja Mal passieren, kein Beinbruch Gestern waren wir erneut bei euch essen. Ansich tolles Essen, wir haben den Fehler gemacht, alles, was wir wollten aufzuschreiben. Wie gewünscht wurde. 4 Personen lange Liste Wir hatten unsere Sachen notiert, und wussten jedoch nicht, was die anderen 2 bestellt hatten. Ein Teil wurde von uns nicht geliefert, das hatten wir mit dem Personal sehr nett geklärt. Rechnung haben wir, damit ihr es einfacher habt, zusammen ausstellen lassen. Zuhause dann gesplittet, da fiel auf, das etwas doppelt berechnet wurde, aber nur einmal aufgetischt. Hatte mich gleich abends per E-Mail gemeldet. 2 Tage später kam die Rückmeldung, es wird erstattet. Gestern Abend sind wir auf dem Weg zum Strand vorbeigekommen und haben den Betrag erhalten. Dankeschön für das Klären. Tut euch den Gefallen, das wenn ihr da bestellt : nur 3-4 Sachen auf einmal bestellen😊 Hier ist einfach auch Mal viel los und man kann es so ohne Probleme für beide Seiten kurz klären. Das auch alles dabei ist, was bestellt wurde.

Nur dort getrunken. Sehr nett, sauber und gepflegt. Essen sah optische sehr gut aus. Personal sehr freundlich. Einen Tag später erneuter Besuch.

Kurze Rast gemacht, um auf die Fähre zu warten, ein Getränk genommen, und die tolle Aussicht genossen.

Wer Tapas mag, der kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Zwar passen alle Tapas die hier angeboten werden auf eine Din A 4 Seite, aber dafür sind diese geschmacklich wirklich sehr gut. Wir waren zu 6t und haben eine groß Bestellung getätigt. Die Tapas kamen fast gleichzeitig. Wer länger Speisen möchte sollte in Etappen bestellen. Nettes Personal, welches gerne und freundlich Bestellungen aufnimmt. Durch die großen Fenster lässt sich das Treiben um die Lokalität gut beobachten, jedoch war mit die Akustik bei voll besetzten Haus ein wenig zu laut. Von mir gibt es hier eine klare Empfehlung!

Nettes Personal, schönes Ambiente mit Außenterrasse und Blick auf die Kieler Förde

Ich bin nicht so der Fan von Tapas, meistens bezahlt man viel und geht hungrig noch nachhause. Aber hier ist es wirklich anders. Die Portionen sind gut, das Essen ist auch gut. Der Preis ist auch völlig inordnung. Wäre es von mir nicht so weit weg, würde ich gerne öfters hingehen.

Eine furchtbare Erfahrung. Das Essen war okay, die Lage auch. Aber wir mussten über 30 Minuten auf unsere Nachbestellung warten, die nie ankam. Schließlich mussten wir los, um die Fähre zurück nach Kiel zu erreichen. Und ja, sie haben uns das Essen berechnet, das wir weder bekommen noch gegessen haben. Das hat uns ein ansonsten wunderschönes Wochenende verdorben! Wir werden dort nicht mehr hingehen.

Ein sehr herzliches Team serviert hier das beste Tapas der Region in einem schönen Restaurant in schöner Lage direkt am Wasser mit tollem Service und gutem Wein.

Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Also a great place to warm up on rainy days. The music was a bit loud and lively, so it's not really recommended for those sensitive to loud noises. On the other hand, the restroom, while small, was well-equipped.

The contact during the phone reservation was already very friendly. This continued on the menu. The service was very friendly. We tried all the tapas and weren't disappointed by any portion. In fact, there were some real highlights! The price isn't a bargain, but rather "typically high-end" for tapas, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back!

We were in Heimendorf on the beach and six of us wanted to eat something. The reviews encouraged us to try this small, unassuming restaurant. Tapas were foreign to us. Everyone found something on the menu – even the two vegetarians. It was absolutely delicious. We were thrilled.

The Fährhuus is the best tapas restaurant I've ever visited. For us, the positive experience began as soon as we entered the restaurant: We received a warm welcome, immediately felt at home, and noticed that the food here is prepared with passion and genuine hospitality. The selection of tapas is diverse and lovingly curated, so there was truly something for everyone. Whether classics like bacon-wrapped dates, patatas bravas, or creative original creations, everything was incredibly fresh, aromatic, and authentic in taste. We truly noticed that quality is important here and nothing is left to chance. The selection of drinks also impressed us, with well-coordinated and sometimes unusual combinations that perfectly complemented the meal. The fantastic view, which made our culinary experience even more special, deserves special mention. From the Fährhuus, you have the best view of the Kiel Fjord and can relax and watch the ships and sailboats passing by. This creates a real holiday feeling and perfectly rounded off the evening for us. Whether you're out with friends, with family, or just looking for a nice evening, the Fährhuus is perfect for every occasion. It's definitely worth a visit. Anyone who loves tapas or wants to try them out can't miss this place. For me, it's clearly the best place in the area and a real highlight that shouldn't be missed.

A culinary experience right on the fjord! The Fährhuus in Heikendorf impressed us across the board – the food in particular was a real highlight. The octopus was sensational: tender, perfectly grilled, and wonderfully balanced with side dishes and spices. I've rarely eaten such good octopus! A chat with the very friendly, new managers reveals that you can look forward to some culinary highlights from South America! The location directly on the Kiel Fjord is beautiful – maritime flair, a relaxed atmosphere, and a great view of the water. The Fährhuus combines coziness with a stylish ambiance, both inside and out. Latino music creates a real atmosphere – close your eyes and welcome to Spain. The service was also great: friendly, attentive, and warm. You can tell the passion they put into their work. I recommend reserving a table! We'll definitely be back!

Expensive, just a tourist bar, mediocre view.

The tapas are simply unbeatably delicious in a balmy summer evening atmosphere. They're fresh and delicious. Add a delicious wine and the evening is perfect. Don't forget to make a reservation.

A super nice restaurant with spectacular views of the sea and an incredible sunset. The food is delicious Spanish tapas, and you can order several to try more things from the menu. The waiters and chefs are super friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is very good. I highly recommend it.

A small but beautiful restaurant on the Kiel Fjord. When the weather's nice, you can sit or lie in a deckchair and look directly out over the fjord and watch the boat traffic. But you can also enjoy a good view of the fjord from the terrace or inside the restaurant. The food isn't cheap, but it's high-quality and delicious. The service was friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

We have been regular guests at least twice a year since the beginning

Waited over an hour for the food. Instead of beer, I got an Alster beer. The wheat beer took three requests and 25 minutes to arrive. The tapas left a lot to be desired in terms of taste.

We had to wait over an hour for our food. Other guests arrived well after us, had eaten, and had already paid, but our food still wasn't served. When we asked, they said it hadn't been forgotten; it was full and our food would be served next. Unfortunately, others were still being served, and we had to wait longer. When it was finally served, something was missing. When I asked, they said they were out of cheese. No alternative was offered, though. Only when I asked further was they offered Serrano ham (it wasn't, more like Parma). The food was drenched in oil and very, very salty. We've eaten there a few times, but it has steadily deteriorated. Last time, we had made a reservation and were greeted with, "All the chefs are sick, didn't anyone call?" Not a good customer service, everyone seemed constantly annoyed. It's a shame, it had started out so well.

The food is overpriced. Spending €30 per person for tapas. As a woman, I left the restaurant hungry... I therefore don't recommend this place.

They're not interested in guests who aren't regulars, and then the crux of the matter is the bill... We were charged €60 even though we only ate for €30... They transferred us to the wrong table... Not recommended

✔It's currently closed; renovations have been underway here for some time; the previous operator is gone. A new operator is coming in with different ideas than just a cafe, and he also has a business on Möltenort Beach. At the moment, I have no idea when it's supposed to reopen, as they're still reorganizing. From what I've heard, things seem to be going well, as the owner has a good reputation. I just learned (Wed., July 7, 2021, 11:00 a.m.) that everything should be finished in about two weeks. Mon., July 12, 2021 Work is being carried out here at full speed; they were also working on Sunday, and we can assume that everything will be finished by the end of the month. Wed., July 14, 2021, 12:50 p.m. I just heard it's supposed to open in two weeks. Sun. July 18, 2021 I've noticed that some people think this is permanently closed. If you take a moment and look more closely, you might see that something new is happening here. Mon. July 26, 2021 It's quite possible that we won't be able to open by the beginning of August. Tue. July 27, 2021 I heard last night that the opening is scheduled for August 1st: It'll be interesting to see... Wed. July 28, 2021 As you can see, the first delivery of goods took place today. Sun. The restaurant is very good. It's on the beach and you can watch ships while you eat. It definitely benefits from its location. The service was quick and we sat outside. The sunset can be enjoyed from the terrace. We didn't know tapas yet and were thrilled. We would recommend it.

We wanted to eat something this evening (May 1st) around 6:30 p.m. Various tables were still free and we even found a great table outside. When we wanted to order something they said: "Have you made a reservation? You can order something to drink, otherwise we can't give out any more food." You've never experienced THAT before, that there's no more food. The catering industry is moaning that no more guests come because everything is becoming more expensive. But if you, as a restaurateur in a prime location, with the best weather, end up not being able to give out any food on a public holiday, then I don't know. The second attempt to have a nightcap there a little later ended up failing because “mmm, well, uh, no…” You could have said that they close at 9 p.m. Communication is everything. I couldn't shake the feeling that I wasn't really welcome as a guest.

When we asked if he was sure, we were told "I don't know" and then we were given the opportunity to look at the ingredients. The store was moderately busy. We don't rate the food or ambience. I ordered 2 latte macchiato and this fruit ice cream in an orange and paid 16 euros and a few cents and unfortunately I didn't find it appropriate or friendly. Sry. I know there are a lot of complainers, but if you have a certain attitude and take a little time, you can deliver quality if you want to. I think it depends on the personal touch of the staff. Great Tapas bar, you can get all the classics, sometimes they are out of a certain dish, especially the fishy things. Everything I tried was delicious. Even if it's not on the menu, you can get a plate with cheese and jamon, which IS highly recommendable. For most of the tapas the prices range from 4.5 to 7.5 €. If the weather is good, you can sit outside in the terrace. The restaurant itself is quite small, that's why I recommend pre-booking a table. One of the big pluses of this restaurant is its location - almost directly at one of Heikendorf's beaches and the ferry pier you can enjoy a great view on the Kieler Förde and if you're lucky you can see one of the cruise ships.

Celebrated my birthday there today, we had the store to ourselves for 4 hours. Tapas from the buffet, very attentive service, my guests loved the food, service and this place.
