Taverna Bei Thomas in Schenefeld

A traditional Greek restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere; you can really feel at home here. The food is excellent, the portions are decent (though I would have liked a bit more, haha), and the prices are more than reasonable—actually, quite a bargain. We were a party of eight and were served quickly. The staff was very friendly. The only downside is that they don't accept card payments. Nevertheless, highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.

We had our Christmas party here on December 14, 2024. Food: good selection, really great prices! When the bill came, I initially thought it was a mistake: for 9 dishes (two senior plates) plus drinks, it came to just under €130. The servers were very attentive and friendly. There's a tent outside with two outdoor heaters for smokers – a plus point. I think we'll be back again. The only downside is that you can't pay by card, but knowing this, you'll just bring cash.

This is beyond bad. The bifiteki is dry, the coleslaw tastes like nothing. A quiz for guests 👎 cheap quality. Renovating the place isn't really worth it either; the decor is naughty, like a train station bar. Never again.

Very nice and friendly the food is great

By far the worst Greek place I've ever eaten at, if you can even call it Greek. The meat was rubbery and no spices whatsoever. The calamari was not deveined and the fries were in old frying fat. Unfortunately everything ended up in the trash because it wasn't edible. Anyone looking for good food should avoid the store.

Very tasty and very friendly. Homemade fried potatoes. Grilled pepperoni. Well done. Old pub-style furnishings from the 70s and 80s. If that doesn't bother you, just go and try it out.

Delicious and always an experience

Pub with tables. Uncomfortable, benches not clean. The starter didn't come at all. One main course was wrong. Gyros look and taste below average. Fries underground. Although overall it's rather cheap, you have to say that the price/performance ratio isn't right at all.

Griechische Atmosphäre, nicht wirklich. Gute Bedienung, auf jeden Fall. Super Freundlich und aufmerksam. Trank mit mir sogar einen Ouzo zusammen, so will ich das haben!!! Essen... Gigantisch! Lamm schmeckt richtig lecker (oft zu altes Fleisch), Tzaziki ist beim 1. Bissen nach bestellt worden. Die Peperoni sind teilweise sogar etwas scharf, genial 👍😎 ich kann diesen Griechen nur empfehlen! Ach und der Preis, gerade mal 21 Euro für Hauptgericht, trinken und Vorspeise! Ich komme wieder!

Wenn ich könnte würde ich Zehn Sterne geben 👍. Die Atmosphäre, das Essen und die Bedienung alles sehr gut!!! Es ist auch schön günstig. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen 😊

Super gemütlicher Laden mit kneipencharakter. Die Leute die da arbeiten sind super aufmerksam und echt nett. Die preis- Leistung ist echt gelungen, ich mag eigentlich keinen Krautsalat aber der ist Bombe und selbstgemacht und auch das tzaziki ist selbstgemacht und ich würde behaupten das beste der stadt. Die Karte ist übersichtlich. Meine frau hatte was mit metaxa soße die war ein Traum. Ich würde 10 Sterne geben....

Tolle Küche. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und immer lecker. Auch immer freundliche Bedienung. Einfach Super 👍🏻 🤩

Hier gibt es noch selbst gemachtes griechisches Essen , alles sehr wohlschmeckend.

Wie immer sehr lecker und gut besucht

Genau das was man erwartet. Leckeres Gyros/Souflaki, knusprige Pommes, bester Tzatziki. Und das für einen richtig fairen Preis. Hier wird man auch für knapp 10€ mehr als Satt. Seit der Pandemie ein Anker, hier hole ich sicher alle zwei Wochen etwas ab, wenn der Tag nicht so toll lief und man abends einfach ausspannen will. Im Vergleich zu Lindos oder Pegasus in Schenefeld auf jeden Fall Preis-Leistungssieger.
