I just had to try it myself today after hearing nothing but positive things. I have to say, I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. What a wonderful Greek restaurant—I think it's by far the best in Bamberg.

The people seem very nice, and the food is probably delicious, but unfortunately, you can't rely on the opening hours. The online listing says midnight, and the actual opening hours are 11 p.m., but I was actually kicked out at 9:45 p.m. I stopped by because I had an hour to transfer after a delayed train. Late, spontaneous visits are not recommended.

The food is delicious, and the homemade bread is highly recommended. The landlady is also very friendly; you feel like you're staying with a Greek grandmother.

Our absolute favorite restaurant. There's no better Greek restaurant in Bamberg. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner is simply a highlight because she truly runs the restaurant with passion and gives each guest time and attention. The food is always excellent, the set menu is the most worthwhile, and the prices are really fair, too. We now come here almost once or twice a month, and the quality is always top-notch!

We've eaten here several times, and especially the last time, a few days ago, we were very disappointed. The friendliness of the manager couldn't compensate for that. We get the impression that the staff is overwhelmed; it took a very long time for us to get anything to eat. The appetizer latte for three people arrived in slices on small plates within 30 minutes. The so-called fish platter for two people was actually a seafood platter with two small fillets in the middle that tasted like frozen food from Aldi. The previous time we were there, the meat was half raw. Never again. There are much better places.

There were four of us and we wanted a table at 5:00 p.m. without a reservation. We were already standing at the door at 4:30 p.m., and the owner warmly welcomed us: "You can come in now; I can't leave you outside because it's not 5:00 p.m. yet." Mama, the owner, is the heart of the place and creates a warm, family atmosphere. At the end, we even got to try a homemade dessert, which was also delicious. Overall, an incredibly wonderful experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

We dined late so they ran out of some things, but they improvised and made us a great meal. Our host Athanasia even brought some free food to make up for it, no way we could eat it all, even though I look like I can. She made us feel part of a new Greek family, awesome night!

The food was good but not outstanding. The owner was super nice, but unfortunately, the restaurant was incredibly loud. It was packed with foreign tourists and a group of tipsy bachelorettes. Parking was practically impossible in a residential area.

It was served too quickly and you could taste it when you were eating it. Actually it was always good, but yesterday I have to say I was disappointed. You could taste that it was made quickly without love. The food was cold and partly still raw. Please cook with love again.

An absolute dream! Nine of us went out to eat – on a recommendation – and we didn’t regret it for a second. The food was fantastic. Nancy is a wonderful and warm person who knows exactly how to treat guests. The portions were excellent and really very generous. So generous that it's best not to eat anything all day in order to enjoy the evening here to the fullest. We will definitely come back and say: thank you!

A piece of Greece in Bamberg! Last night we visited Taverna Georgios – and it was simply great! We had gyros with calamari and the Thessaloniki plate, and both were excellent. The meat perfectly seasoned, the seafood cooked to perfection – simply a delight. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, just as you would expect in a good restaurant. But the real heart of the evening was the owner: with her warm manner, she made us feel like we were in Greece for a few hours. Great food, great ambience and service that comes from the heart. If you love Greek food, you should definitely stop by here. We'll definitely be back!

It was our first time there. I think there are better Greeks. We were there with 9 people and sat in the heated winter garden (February). It was warm but quite cramped. The service was friendly and the food came pretty quickly. Large portions but I think there was a bit of a lack of spices. I think there was too much oil on the side salad.

We received a very warm welcome and the older boss runs her restaurant with a lot of heart and passion. We felt we were in excellent hands. On the recommendation of a colleague, we chose the menu for €25 per person. The starters were served on different plates and consisted of a mix of the menu starting from beans and fish roe to musaka and bread. It was similar with the main course: Two separate plates consisting of different types of fish and meat were served. Plus spinach and tomato rice. The delicious dessert and beer for under four euros rounded off the successful evening. Everything was very tasty and rich. Any time.

I just finished eating and it was perfect. I have rarely eaten so well and the family is very nice. Unfortunately we're just passing through here, so I won't be able to try everything here in the near future. But I can highly recommend the turkey fillet with spicy cheese sauce. My companion had the calamari which was also fresh and very good. Oh and the starter plate was also very good ;)

We went there for the first time yesterday on the recommendation of friends - the whole staff was super friendly, the boss is like a Greek mom, there were delicious starters to try without anything being asked for, the main courses were served on very nice platters, we enjoyed ourselves just felt good! We were in this really typically Greek restaurant for the second time today - all the employees are just super friendly and attentive and, above all, the boss herself is the heart of the restaurant! There were four of us there, the food came really quickly. We all got ouzo, a small portion of tzatziki with bread to tickle our taste buds, and a Greek dessert to finish - and it was all on the house. The portion sizes were very good. Two beers and a tzatziki were missing from the bill, so of course we brought this up and paid accordingly. The only negative point was the extreme loudness of the guests on site that evening, so conversation at "normal" volume was almost impossible - but the restaurant owner can't do anything about that. We would love to come back!

The service is first class!! You wait a maximum of 10 minutes for the starter, everyone is absolutely on their toes! The food tastes delicious, portions are perfect, all in all simply excellent!
