Sirtaki Bamberg in Bamberg

We ordered via Uber and the driver took an extremely long time to get to Sirtaki. Any other restaurant would probably have just delivered the food cold. Not Sirtaki – we called, explained the situation, asked the Uber driver to wait a bit, and they reheated the food. It's great that they care about ensuring customers receive a good product! The food was delicious, and the kids loved it too.

The food is very delicious and you will see a lot of it on your plate. Regional beer is also available. I highly recommend it. The atmosphere and everything else are elegant.

A mixed grill platter with souvlaki, gyros, and squid with rice. For dessert, two coffees and dessert. The dessert menu also has a very large selection. We will come again. Yes, I've already been rummaging through it, hence the slightly mixed-up order. It looked very good when it arrived.

I went there for dinner with my husband today. It was 10/10! Large portions, quick preparation, and very friendly servers!

We were there for dinner with five people. The gyros was very salty, and the calamari was like chewing gum. The portions were also very small for the price of €20.90. The side salad was a green salad, two slices of cucumber, and a thin slice of tomato. So, nothing that would suggest a Greek restaurant. I'm only giving it two stars because the service was very good and I also liked the ambiance.

Great value for money. The food was excellent, and we didn't have to wait too long. There's a very pretty garden, but you should definitely make a reservation, otherwise you might have to leave because there's no room. The service, however, could be improved; someone could come to the table more often and ask for service, rather than waiting until the guest has waved or called for service.

We spontaneously went to Sirtaki for dinner today. We got a table despite not having a reservation. The food was delicious! What wasn't so great was that a bunch of mosquitoes suddenly attacked our food. It was very unappealing. We couldn't eat in peace. The hazelnut fruit was the last straw, falling on us with every gust of wind. Surely there are remedies for all of this!! Open umbrellas and set up fly swatters; they're available in stores.

I wanted to have a nightcap at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to. I was turned away, even though the bar was supposed to be open until 11 p.m. and there was another couple sitting in the beer garden. Two other people asked for entry immediately after me, but to no avail.

The food was delicious! Huge portions, so you can really indulge yourself. There's a lovely, inviting garden to sit in. The staff is super friendly. And, last but not least: it's inexpensive!

The best Greek food I've had in a long time!

It was nice, expected barbecue food, without being fantastic. But the atmosphere was really cozy, nice waiters and the kids were happy. Nice stop on our trip south. If we are in town again, we will definitely come back.

The restaurant is tucked away in a lovely neighborhood. The outdoor area is beautifully designed and creates a pleasant dining atmosphere. The interior is equally so. The food is good, but not perfect. I would have liked some Greek coleslaw in the salad. The calamari tastes very artificial, almost rubbery, and is definitely not my favorite. Another negative is that you can't eat the rolled pita in the shop, but only take it with you. Furthermore, according to the staff, you can only put gyro in the pita and no other meat (like chicken, for people who don't eat pork). This doesn't correspond to Greek traditions and expectations of a rolled pita! The staff are still very friendly and helpful.

We went out for a quick dinner near our hotel, and this place is a hidden gem. Beautiful garden, open until 11 PM, and the food – just great. We’re not experts in Greek cuisine, but the steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The chicken salad was also excellent, and the portions were more than enough to satisfy us. Compared to the city center, the prices are more reasonable and well matched to the quality of the food.

The restaurant's beer garden has a very pleasant ambiance. The service was very friendly and attentive. I eat Greek food often, but I haven't experienced the quality I get here in a very long time.

Food was so-so, I've eaten much better. There was very little on the plate. It's difficult to get full here. And now comes the climax, when you eat for over 110 euros, charging 60 cents for a packet of ketchup is a complete outrage. The store definitely saw us for the last time. Things used to be good here. The store has slowed down extremely. We are extremely disappointed and will no longer recommend the store.

The food at Sirtaki was good and tasty. We were there as a group of 11 people and had a table in the garden. Unfortunately, when the ordered food was served, it was discovered that one of the items was incorrect. This meant that one guest in the group could only start eating when everyone else had already finished. That was unpleasant.

Portions are becoming smaller and unfortunately finished products are increasing in weight. Like the potatoes as a side dish. The meat quality was also better in terms of taste. Unfortunately not as great as it was 4 years ago. That can definitely be better. Update: Or worse...the portion is no longer enough to fill you up. Unfortunately failed. We went to Sirtaki for the first time yesterday for our wedding anniversary and had a great experience. The waitresses were super friendly, accommodating and when my food took a little longer she came to ours several times Stopped by the table to let me know it was coming soon. The ambience is classic, cozy and a touch of modern glam. The food was really great, presentation, taste, everything. The starter salads were dressed with a delicious dressing. My husband had the chicken skewers, the meat was well seasoned but tender and delicious. The side dishes were good and the tzatziki was super tasty! I had the sea bream and it was simply delicious, from the sea bream itself, to the side dishes of potatoes and the grilled vegetables. You can tell that all the employees in this restaurant make a real effort to make sure everything is right. We'll be back soon ❤️

Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war einfach nur top! The two of us went to this really nice beer garden right after it opened to watch football. the team was very accommodating and nice. Drinks and food ratzifatzi at the table. With my Gyros Metaxa I missed the roasted flavors and the rice was a bit too tomatoey for me. but a matter of taste. the salad was great. The extensive and illustrated dessert menu is worth mentioning. Excellent! we'd love to come back! Thank you very much

Delicious Greek restaurant and friendly staff

We were there on the weekend around 7 p.m. Unfortunately the garden was closed at the time. I still remember it quite well. The inside was recently renovated. It looks very nice and the ambience is right. The dishes were delicious, but had become very expensive. Unfortunately there was no ouzo at the beginning. The service, on the other hand, was relatively quick.

And given the prices in supermarkets, I don't understand why some people complain about prices in restaurants. Greek restaurants are based on meat, fish and vegetables, and we all know that these foods are the most expensive. We and our friends were extremely satisfied and would like to come back as often as we have the opportunity.

The prices are absolutely overpriced. This can be seen in the prices of drinks alone, Reckendorfer Kellerbier 4.50 euros, the same beer in Bamberg 3.30 euros in a good restaurant. Food prices have also risen sharply, e.g. Baked calamari 21.30 euros, too expensive for Bamberg, the food was good, but other Greeks in Bamberg are also good.
