First time visiting and I will be recommending to everyone. The food and drinks were amazing. And the service and atmosphere were so warm and welcoming with a lot of history all around if you ask.

Excellent Brazilian restaurant, every time I go through Berlin I go❤️ 10/10 their feijoada and I recommend trying the fried cassava and desserts like pudim and brigadeiros!

The feijoada and the dish are very good. But the last time I was at the restaurant, I ordered the chicken thigh, which came soaked in oil, and the tapioca with dried meat had a rancid taste, as if it had been prepared a while ago (the dried meat).

Had my first Brazilian food experience here and God I was delighted. The food combinations were unique and very tasty. Loved the hot sause sauce at the table. Amazing service. All staff members very extremely friendly, smiley and regularly checking on us, unusual in Berlin. Particularly one staff member, he was extremely nice and elevated our dining experience there. Keep up the great quality!

Authentic Brazilian cuisine, very tasty!

The food is good, though not outstanding, which is understandable given the challenges of recreating regional Brazilian cuisine in another country. Unfortunately, I stopped going to this restaurant due to my experience with the service, which fell short of expectations. While the staff's efforts are noticeable, there is room for improvement in how feedback or suggestions are received. This creates a disconnect between the price and the overall experience, especially as there are other options in Berlin with equally good food and a friendlier atmosphere. As mentioned by the owner in responses to other reviews, perhaps those places are indeed a better choice.

The Feijoada Vegana was very tasty, everything else was great too.

There were seven of us and we had a colorful selection of starters and main courses and then sweet tapiocas. All highly recommended. The team also contributes to the great overall impression. We'll come back the next time we visit Berlin.

I went there to show my German friends and was disappointed. Tapioca was dry, the two drumsticks I ordered were burnt and extremely oily and I had to ask them to come back and bring another one, for a very high price. We left there and went to eat somewhere else. I'll never go back!!!

The saddest feijoada 😕 It literally had 1 small piece of meat and 3 small pieces of sausage (you can see in the pictures, for the most part just black beans). I believe they could deliver something way better for a €19 dish + tips. On the other hand the tapioca is quite good.

Sobrecargo por un plato cancelado y mal servicio Visité Tapiocaria GmbH Berlin el 06 / 11 / 2024 para celebrar mi cumpleaños y me encontré con una situación extremadamente frustrante. Después de una larga espera, mi novio y yo decidimos cancelar el plato principal (PF brasileño, € 25. 90 ) . Solicité que se retirara el cargo de la factura, pero cuando comprobé el recibo en casa, noté que el plato cancelado seguía cobrado, lo que elevaba el total a 79€. 80 . Este cargo injusto me hizo sentir completamente engañado por el restaurante. Además del sobrecargo, el servicio fue terrible. El personal parecía desmotivado y carente de amabilidad, creando un ambiente frío y desagradable, muy diferente de las visitas anteriores, cuando el lugar ofrecía un poco de calidez brasileña. Ya he contactado por correo electrónico e Instagram para solicitar un reembolso, pero aún no he recibido ninguna respuesta. La falta de seguimiento solo refuerza mi decepción con este establecimiento. No recomiendo Tapiocaria GmbH Berlin a nadie que busque un servicio de calidad y respeto por los clientes.

Nice place to try Tapiocas and other things! The prices are a bit high compared to other restaurants nearby, but you get delicious, authentic and filling Brazilian food.

I went yesterday with some friends because i wanted to introduce them to my countries cusine . We knew a Saturday night would be full so we specifically made reservations to eat inside. As we get there we inform the waitress of our reservation. To which she responds “ oh yes i see your reservation, but we don’t have a table for you so you must sit outside.” We didn’t come appropriately dressed to sit outside BECAUSE we made a reservation. But there we go just so we can eat. After a while we notice there is a free table inside and no-one has called us in yet. We inquired about this qnd they said they had to check if we could sit there since “there might be some reservations at this time”! After finally sitting down and ordering we only received half of our drinks, the main courses came first and the second half of the drinks only came after constant begging and only after we were already done eating. The Appetizers only came AFTER we were done with the main courses . Multiple things never came to us and i was too tired of being there so we just payed and left. After all of this incredibly bad service not one apology was given, not even for the fiasco with the reservation. As a Brazilian i was honestly embarrassed for having raved so much about this place.

Brazilian cuisine varies from region to region. The type of preparation and quality vary from region to region. In my opinion, and for the dishes, the price-performance ratio has reached the upper threshold. Meat was well fried, I would guess a 150g piece of steak rump. And I'm a little disappointed, black beans rice, some cassava and a tablespoon of salad for 25 euros. I don't really understand the calculation.😢 Food was okay, just as I know it from the fazenda in Paraibuna, but nothing more. I find the atmosphere very nice. Staff slightly confused but friendly and attentive. I was already happy, now I'll swing the wooden spoon again when Brazilian cuisine is on my personal menu. (There is some effort involved in preparing various dishes, but it is normal for a kitchen.) P.S. Small addendum. Of course, don't make it in my own kitchen at home. Of course it would be cheaper without the wage costs, insurance and contributions to the professional association. A mixed calculation is not always easy. Nevertheless, how customers feel is crucial for recommendations or not. When customers talk to me about price, I also explain to them how the price is determined. And also the difference between me and a regular restaurant and cooking at home. Many people don't think that far and just see what's on offer in the supermarket. "Cook with love and your hearts will be open to you!"

We were served surprisingly well by Alex. The food was wonderful. Not to mention the atmosphere is super cozy. I highly recommend it!!!

The food is good. Specially the "tapas". Very authentic food from the northeast of Brazil. Must try are the dadinhos de tapioca, pão de queijo, coxinha. They also have typical main dishes like feijoada or pf, ainda northeast like banana moqueca. For drinks, the exotic has Caju (yes the fruit where you get the nuts) and jambu (makes your tongue numb)

Food is delicious...very Brazilian...but too bad everything is so expensive! =\

The food wasn't quite our thing (although the restaurant can't do that!). What actually annoyed me the most were the drinks (and the ladies can do that). The drinks were delicious, but not exactly cheap at around €7. In the end there was more ice cream in there than anything else and I think that's pretty steep for the money.

To put it briefly: Boring, unfriendly, expensive And save yourself the answer, they are embarrassing to read.

Do yourself a favor and check their answers to the dissatisfied reviewers. Then choose if you want to risk paying for that type of treatment.

If you are looking for a restaurant with good Brazilian food, professionalism and respectful treatment, you have come to the wrong place. My friend chose this place to celebrate my birthday. We thought we would have a nice dinner but that wasn't the case. We ordered carne de sol as a starter and it was good. Salted just right, as we know it in Brazil. The main course, which also included Carne de Sol and Pirão de Queijo, looked good but was EXTREMELY SALTY and the Pirão de Queijo had a very strong garlic flavor. You couldn't get the food down at all. Maybe it was that one day when the chef was in love and oversalted it. However, since the service insisted that it should be that way, maybe it's just a bad dish. Instead of considering that there might be a mistake, we are called ignorant because we don't know Brazilian cuisine and carne de sol. I don't know if the chef is Brazilian and knows how to make carne de sol. I'm Brazilian and I know that I've never had such a salty carne de sol and such a bland bobó de camarão. This place is far from Brazilian hospitality (just note the restaurant's comments below) and the authenticity of our cuisine. Luckily we have other good Brazilian restaurants in Berlin that can offer us that and these are the ones I recommend :) this place, never again!

Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing. I went here with my girlfriend for her birthday. We first ordered cocktails which were really good. However, yours is quite small compared to mine. The starter was okay, but very small and carelessly prepared. There was just a half-burnt spring onion in one piece on top. At this point we had no idea what was to come. The main courses were served after a short time and simply looked like mud. My girlfriend's meal was objectively much worse, my steak looked delicious at first glance. We tried my friend's dish first and found the whole thing extremely bland. Now it was my turn. The "porridge" or what it was supposed to represent on my plate simply tasted extremely garlicky and the rest was so salty that it was inedible. Wanting to know if it was my fault, I gave my friend a bite of the steak without pointing out to her that it was too salty. She immediately took a big sip of water and told me to give it back. I then complained about my dish to the waitress, who explained that it was intentional for it to be so salty. The sheer mockery. My dish was then returned and I was promised that the chef would now use less salt. In short: The "second" steak was also so oversalted that I almost had the feeling that I was simply being served the same thing again. When I still hadn't eaten after 15 minutes, the waitress came up to me and asked me if it was better. When I said no, all I got was a short “Ah, okay” and she completely withdrew from the situation. When I wanted to pay, I was told that I could leave a tip - as if! Conclusion: The prices are far too expensive, the food is bland and has little to do with real Brazilian cuisine. Drinks are really okay, but that's about it. I paid almost 93 euros for 2 cocktails, a starter and 2 main courses. For the price, I expect appropriate portion sizes and that everything is right. Absolute failure, I'm disappointed and will never come here again. Edit: The operator's presumptuous and insulted response only confirms my impression even more.

The food was overall tasty, nothing special and some was warmed up in the microwave. I wouldn't write a review except for the really high prices. 20€+ for a not so big main course without meat or fish (half of which is rice) is really excessive. The service was nice.

This was our first visit to a Brazillian restaurant, we went here with our Brazillian friend. We really loved chicken Tapioca here and also the dessert was amazing. However the main course was average I would say for the price you pay there. The restaurant was a bit empty for a Sunday afternoon. It's a nice place if you wanna try Brazillian food.

Great food!! but the service was terrible. After 20 minutes of waiting for our drinks we reminded our waiter, who then informed us that for some unknown reason our order hadn't gone through. Waited a further 20 minutes for our food to arrive- which was delicious! Then ordered dessert (cheesecake in the display and a coffee -which never arrived) while our waiter sat at the bar playing with his cell phone. We pressed the button under the table 3x with no reaction. We decided to give up and pay - the coffee and cheesecake were on the bill, which we corrected and when we left the restaurant, our waiter was smoking outside.

I would like to thank you for having vegan jackfruit drumstick. Since I became vegetarian in 2016, I don't think coxinha is good. I was surprised by the flavor and creaminess. Vegan tapioca is also made with vegetable protein. Restaurants rarely think about this when putting together a vegan dish. Thank you very much! Unfortunately I don't live in Berlin to become a loyal customer... but I hope to be able to return one day! Or you can open a headquarters in Munich 🙏🤗

Man kann draußen, auf Bierbänken, oder drinnen, wo es etwas stylischer ist, essen. Wie man mag :). Es ist recht modern drin eingerichtet. Es ist klein und süß an einer Ecke. Die Getränke und das Essen haben super lecker geschmeckt und es war mal was anderes. Alle die dort gearbeitet haben waren sehr nett und freundlich. Wenn es regnet gibt es ein ausfahrbares Dach. Ich kann es empfehlen.

Small but mighty. For me as an allergy sufferer, a selection of large and small treats is a dream. Definitely highly recommended. The little button under the table to call service was also cool.

I had a very bad experience today. The person that took our order for starters and drinks was very nice, however another person took our order for the main dish, and that person did not take it upon themselves to inform us that they would not be making our dish. So I left the restaurant without having dinner. In my opinion, the responsibility for our order falls on the person that took it, and they did not take any responsibility for that. In fact, I saw them scolding the server because the server did not inform us that the order would not be made. That server didn't take my order, and he was also not the person that brought the dishes that were ordered together with my missing dish. If he was not involved in the order and the delivery of the plate, how could he be responsible for any of that? The person that took the order, however, didn't even look at us when we were paying and about to leave. This is my experience and I felt really bad that happened. The first server apologized profusely but I don't see why that would have been his fault.

We were there on a Thursday evening and received 1 of our 3 dishes. Afterwards we waited and waited, but since it was still quite full, we didn't ask. Then at some point we asked and it was “asked” in the kitchen. It was more likely that they pointed out that the food had been forgotten and then quickly refilled it for us. No apology from the service and when we finally had the food and I paused while eating, the waiter immediately saw his chance and wanted to take the plate and everything away from me. But I “subtly” rejected it in annoyance. They probably wanted to process us quickly so that they could get off work on time. At the end of our meal, rock music was played at full volume - the bouncer while eating. Very unpleasant 👎🏻Also very expensive for individual dishes. No recommendation. (The food itself tasted okay, hence 2 stars)

This restaurant was recommended by many people, so I came here to eat with my Brazilian friends. I didn't know much about the menu, so I ate at a recommendation and everything on the menu was excellent.

Were there for the first time today. Half of the dishes were simply forgotten. Had to actively point this out to the waiter and wait another 30 minutes. In addition, the dishes weren't really tasty and were completely overpriced. We definitely won't do it again

Recommended by my Brazilian friend :) :) The place is quite popular. We almost didn't get a table since we didn't make a reservation but we were lucky. I really love their pao de queijo. I also really liked the vegan tapioca, and was amazed by the coconut tapioca with loads of crunchy cheese.. :) I didn't like the sour taste of Coxhina de Jaca so much, but that's just personal taste. The main plates are a bit more pricy, but I'd pay for it as a special occasion. Cheers to the team!

A gluten free oasis really delicious with gluten free cakes. A paradise for everyone who eats gluten-free. An equally enjoyable experience for everyone else.

We found this place by chance and just tried it out. The food was very tasty, but very small portions for the amount of money. That was a bit of a shame, now we have to eat something somewhere else to fill us up. The staff is a bit slow and the tables could be cleaner too. We tried it once, but I think it was a unique experience, as you just can't get enough of the main courses and the prices are just too high for drinks too.

I visited the restaurant with the expectation of eating Brazilian food and it wasn't quite what I expected. I ordered a traditional feijoada and for the price charged I thought there was very little meat. Furthermore, I can't say for sure, but I got the impression that the farofa that came with it wasn't made in-house, but rather that it was ready-made farofa. My husband ordered a PF and also said he didn't like it that much, so I saw that it wasn't just my opinion. The environment is at least pleasant.

Delicious and unique food! I really enjoyed the tapioca and the cod potato croquettes which were a seasonal specialty. Definitely plan to go back again! Do get a reservation though!

The food is delicious and gluten free. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The service is called with a button on the underside of the table.

Relatively inconspicuous from the outside but a really cute location with food that isn't available everywhere. For that alone I'm glad I tried the location. It is also recommended to order a generous amount of dips. These bring a fresh, intense note into the game that I was otherwise missing. There are also service buttons to call the staff, which worked extremely well.

Wir waren am 21.03.2023 zum Abendessen im Tapiocaria. Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit tollem Personal. Lockere Atmosphäre und gemütlich. Jeder Tisch hat einen unscheinbaren Knopf um die Bedienung zu rufen, was super funktionier! Tolle Idee! Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Caipirinhas waren auch super!

I was attended to by the only girl who didn't speak Portuguese, but her friendliness enchanted me. A cool place with friendly people that reminds me a lot of Brazil! The food I really have to admit was good! I loved the traditional feijoada and 2 caipirinhas were enough to make me happy! Top of the top, I would come back a few more times.

We were there 5 minutes early and entered through the unlocked door. We were told to wait outside (3 adults and 1 toddler). My friends insisted on eating there anyway. The ambience is more like a kebab shop around the corner (sorry about the stereotypes), especially the way to the toilet is unworthy of a restaurant with high prices. The food is good but not good enough for the price. The vegetarian feijoada contained exactly 2 cubes of tofu, tasted ok. Furthermore, I'm used to friendlier staff at restaurants in this price range - nothing tastes good, it could be anything, more of a lower class. I won't come back. Obrigado. @Team: You also get mushy in your answer. That fits the picture you gave. If I go to the toilet and have to make my way through boxes, then I find that inappropriate for your requirements. I'm sure I'm doing many kebab shops an injustice with my comparison. Well, good luck with your business model. By the way, I also give positive reviews under my syseudonym.

As a Brazilian, I can attest to the authenticity and quality of their food. 10/10. You're gonna eat as good here as in Brazil (and I hope they keep it that way!) Plus, this is where you'll have the best Caipirinha in Berlin. If you've never had an amazing one before, you probably never tried the real thing. There are important details in making good ones, and they know those details very well. 10/10 too. If you're looking for a dish recommendation, do try the Feijoada (if you're not vegan/vegetarian). If you have dietary restrictions though, then give it a try on the Tapiocas. For starters, I recommend Bolinho de Feijoada or Cubinho de Tapioca (or both!). As a dessert, don't miss trying their brigadeiro: to die for. Have fun 😊

Visited this Brazilian restaurant in Berlin for an early afternoon meal with a friend and overall, I had a decent experience. The smokey vegan dish I ordered was prepared well and had a nice flavor to it. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, adding to my overall enjoyment of the meal. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service as it took a while for the staff to come to our table to take our order. Despite this small hiccup, the staff was friendly and attentive once they did come to our table.
