Café do Brasil in Berlin

Köstliches Essen! Dieses Restaurant war ein echter Glücksgriff in Berlin. Der Service war exzellent und die Gerichte kamen blitzschnell. Ich bestellte Picanha, die in sehr großzügigen Stücken serviert wurde, und mein Mann Feijoada, die ebenfalls eine üppige Portion war. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Der Laden ist total gemütlich und erinnert mich an Zuhause. Ein kleines Stück Brasilien in Deutschland. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Das Gebäck schmeckt nicht so wie in Brasilien. Die Preise sind auch etwas hoch, und es ist ziemlich heiß, weil es etwas stickig ist, als ich da war. Der Service ist aber hervorragend. Zuvorkommend und freundlich, genau wie in Brasilien.

Im Menü stand, dass der Fisch gegrillt ist, aber er kam leider komplett voller Fett an. Das war etwas enttäuschend. Der Rest des Essens war allerdings gut und geschmacklich lecker.

Das Restaurant bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, Reis, schwarze oder rote Bohnen und ein Stück Picanha zu essen und so Ihre Sehnsucht nach Brasilien und unserer Küche zu stillen.

Vielleicht waren wir zu einer ungünstigen Zeit da...über 45 Minuten auf Essen gewartet, dafür war es jetzt nicht soooo besonders, aber in Ordnung...Schade war vor allem, dass es keinem zu interessieren schien, obwohl kaum Gäste da waren...

Meine Freundin feierte hier ihren Geburtstag und fragte vor unserem Besuch ausdrücklich nach glutenfreien Speisen für Menschen mit Zöliakie. Das wurde ihr bestätigt. Als ich bestellte, wies ich das Personal deutlich auf meine Zöliakie hin. Mir wurde ein Gericht serviert, das angeblich glutenfrei sein sollte, aber offensichtlich frittierte Zutaten und eine Komponente mit Gluten enthielt. Als ich den Kellner darauf aufmerksam machte, stritt er es zunächst ab. Nachdem ich ihm genau gezeigt hatte, welche Zutaten Gluten enthielten, gab er es zu und versprach, das Gericht neu zuzubereiten. Doch nur zwei Minuten später kam er mit fast demselben Teller zurück, lediglich ohne die frittierten Zutaten und die offensichtlich glutenhaltige Komponente. Wer nicht genau weiß, was Zöliakie bedeutet, sollte nicht damit werben oder behaupten, dass sein Essen glutenfrei ist – insbesondere bei offensichtlicher Kreuzkontamination. Diese Art von Fahrlässigkeit ist extrem frustrierend und potenziell schädlich für Menschen mit meiner Erkrankung.

Das Essen ist wunderbar, die Picanha ist sehr gut, und die Musik vermittelt einem ein tolles Gefühl, in Brasilien zu sein ❤️

Gutes Essen, aber man muss reservieren!

Wenn ihr gemütlich und entspannt essen gehen wollt, geht bloß nicht hin! Der Kellner ist zwar super nett, aber da ist dieser Typ, der aussieht wie der Besitzer – total arrogant! Wir kamen ohne Reservierung und fragten eine der Kellnerinnen nach einem Tisch. Wir warteten ewig und durften uns erst setzen, als die Kellnerin es uns erlaubte. Wir warteten ewig auf die Speisekarte. Ich wehrte mich schließlich, und dieselbe Kellnerin entschuldigte sich für die Wartezeit. Kurz darauf kam dieser Typ, der wie ein Boss aussah, an unseren Tisch, fragte, ob wir reserviert hätten, und als wir verneinten und erklärten, dass wir an diesen Tisch geführt wurden, meinte er: „Sie hätten mit mir sprechen sollen, ich bin der Organisator.“ Wir wussten vorher nicht einmal, wer er war, und er hatte sich weder vorgestellt noch uns begrüßt. Wir sind einfach gegangen und haben das Essen nicht probiert. Der Laden sah auch ziemlich dreckig aus, also werden wir definitiv nicht wieder hingehen. Hoffentlich lernen sie, wie man besser mit seinen Kunden umgeht.

Das Essen ist super, wirklich sehr gut. Einziger Minuspunkt: die Größe des Restaurants. Als eine riesige Gruppe kam, wirkte es etwas klein, aber es ist trotzdem sehr gut. 😁

Ich habe es endlich geschafft, den Ort zu besuchen, und die Feijoada ist wirklich gut, von besserer Qualität als in anderen Lokalen und viel günstiger.

Ein Stück echten Brasiliens in Berlin. Ausgezeichnetes Essen, ganz wie in Brasilien. Absolut empfehlenswert ist die Moqueqa (Fisch mit Garnelensoße) und Feijoada (schwarze Bohnen mit Fleisch) , aber auch die Picanha war ein Meistersück. Das alles zur Live-Musik.

Ein wunderbarer Ort, um brasilianische Küche zu genießen. Das Lokal ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich und perfekt beleuchtet und dekoriert. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl und die Cocktails sind fantastisch. Ich war schon zweimal dort und werde definitiv wiederkommen. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Ein absolut toller Ort in dem man das graue dreckige Berlin vergessen kann und eintauchen kann in eine tolle, friedliche Atmosphäre. Das beste brasilianische Restaurant in Berlin, ohne Zweifel!

Die Meeresfrüchtesuppe war köstlich, der Service sehr schnell und gut und die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm, besonders wenn sonntagnachmittags jemand brasilianische Lieder singt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Ich hoffe wirklich, dass dieses Foto allein schon Lust auf einen Besuch in diesem Restaurant macht. Ich war heute (15.01.2026) im Café Brasil und hatte ein fantastisches Erlebnis. Die Atmosphäre ist einfach herrlich. Erwarten Sie bitte kein schickes Restaurant. Hier geht es um Gemütlichkeit, darum, sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Der Service war tadellos. Freundlich und effizient von Anfang bis Ende. Und nicht zuletzt war das Essen perfekt und wurde in sehr großzügigen Portionen serviert. Die Preise sind fair und für das Gesamterlebnis sogar günstig (aber bitte bleibt so, wir geben gerne Trinkgeld, haha). Alles in allem hätte es nicht besser sein können. Vielen Dank, dass Sie ein Stück Brasilien mitten nach Berlin gebracht haben.

Coole Location; einziger Makel: Für die Abgabe der Garderobe war nur eine Abgabemöglichkeit verfügbar, obwohl es noch eine zweite Abgabemöglichkeit gab. Diese war geschlossen. Für die Abgabe stand man 45 Minuten an.

Great place to satisfy your craving for good Brazilian food, a warm corner in chilly Berlin, I highly recommend it to everyone. Obviously, the price is also appropriate for Europe; if it were like Brazilian food, it would be perfect. Hugs to all and thank you very much for your kindness.

I don’t have any proof of how amazing the food is here because as soon as it arrived, I lost myself and ate it all! Great meat, cocktails, and vibe. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic Brazilian food!

The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are very approachable! The food was very filling and the portions were great. (If you are going on a busy weekend evening expect the wait to be more than 15 minutes) Awesome options for gluten free eaters, they could benefit from having the gluten allergen included on their menu, but the staff was very accommodating when we asked for more information. The live music was fantastic, the singer was amazing and it’s very memorable. Will definitely be returning!

If it weren't for the oven next door, this isn't a place I'd ever go to. It takes half an hour to get hot water, and the staff is incredibly slow and indifferent. I'm giving two stars for allowing us to sit in their place in the cold weather. Even if we didn't ask for permission, they didn't seem to care.

It's like going to a bar in Rio. The service is really cool and the fried chicken is delicious. I'd definitely come back. Oh, and they have live music too! 😄

The room is too small for the number of tables and guests. I felt a bit claustrophobic; it was stuffy and too loud.

Delicious food! I recommend paying close attention to your bill when paying!!!! The waiter who served us calculated the bill on a random piece of paper, charging a much higher amount than what we had actually consumed (about €30 more). When he realized I had started calculating it myself, he said "that's wrong" and only then gave me the official receipt with all the items consumed (which I checked in detail). He didn't apologize and pretended it was unintentional, but it was terrible. If I had paid the amount he quoted (€141) without questioning and without seeing the official receipt (correct amount €114), his "plan" would have worked.

I tried a feijoada and it missed most the specific flavors. It missed spices and there were only a few slices of orange on the side. It was just like a plain beans and meat stew. The restaurant otherwise has a very pleasant atmosphere and nice decoration.

Really bad expierence, the 2 waitress are loose , you order something and they forget, they give you things that you havent orderer.... the food was horrible, all was processed food , nothing is handmade .... I dont understand the good rewiews about the food, i dont recomend anyone to loose money and time going there.

I expected a lot from what people said, unfortunately it wasn't what it was. The service started off quite difficult. The only good service I had was from Bill, I'm grateful. But for what we ate, unfortunately it wasn't worth it. I hope to come back another time and have a different experience.

I've rarely been treated so disrespectfully by the staff in Berlin. This place was recommended to me by Brazilian friends, and after I asked about the allergens in a dish (which were incorrect, by the way), the waiter didn't come back, and I had to chase him. The next waiter (the boss?) was nicer, but brought our salad after 40 minutes, even after asking. I don't know if it was because we're not Brazilian, but we were constantly ignored, even though we were friendly and patient—probably too friendly. The atmosphere was also terrible, with the main road nearby.

Here, you can even chat with the waitress in "Brazilian" dialect. The cook is from Bahia (northern Brazil). 100% authentic Brazilian cuisine, even in the details like spicy sauces. If you've ever been to Brazil and are feeling a little nostalgic, you'll find relief here. :) If you want to get a taste of Brazil "in advance," you can try this.

Very Lovely brazilian restaurant

The dishes were extremely well-served and delicious. We came on a Saturday and had picanha—which wasn't on the menu—which was very good, but it can't compare to a genuine Brazilian barbecue. The feijoada was 10/10, very well seasoned, with several different cuts of pork. The caipirinha and coconut water (from a carton) were also approved.

Disappointment for those hoping for a taste of home As a Brazilian who loves to cook and misses Brazilian food, I went to this restaurant with high expectations. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. The beef stroganoff was bland and had a questionable flavor; it didn't seem fresh. The picanha, which should have been the highlight, was a bit tough and clearly not of good quality. The dish came with a spoonful of "farofa," which was actually just flour, and a spoonful of very simple vinaigrette. It was lacking in care. We ordered coxinha as an appetizer—the crust was crispy, but the filling left something to be desired: the chicken was in large, tough chunks, which meant all the filling came out with the first bite, as it wasn't shredded well. The service was also poor: the waiter took a long time to come to the table, forgot our orders, and we had to order everything more than once. To top it all off, the juices were all canned, nothing natural—which is sad, given that we have so many delicious options in Brazilian cuisine. In the end, we encountered another setback: no cards were accepted, as the machine was very old and incompatible with current cards. We had to go out to withdraw cash and pay fees at the ATM. Inconvenient and frustrating. With so many good restaurants in Berlin, I expected more from one of the few representatives of Brazilian cuisine. The appeal remains: with simple ingredients and a little care, it's possible to create authentic and welcoming Brazilian food. I hope they improve.

I absolutely had to add Brazilian food to my culinary experiences. Small, rather unassuming shop that's less of a café than a restaurant. Great cozy atmosphere, lots of green plants. Convenient, but sufficient, and pleasant menu. Really delicious food, authentic Brazilian cooking, friendly service, often quite full, and tables are also available outside. The shop also thrives on its waiter, Harun, who is always friendly and helpful. You can also rely on his recommendations. Simply great. They serve, in my opinion, the best caipirinha in town. I always enjoy going to Cafe do Brasil.

If you live here, come here. The best Brazilian restaurant in town. It's just hard to go because it closes on Wednesdays, it's always packed on Thursdays and it's very busy on the weekends. If more Brazilians open up in the city, they'll get rich. They could only have more Brazilians working because sometimes having a Brazilian dinner is more important than having a Zuca serving the customers. What gives you the pleasure is feeling like you're in Brazil. The environment is more important.

My favorite restaurant in Berlin! If you like live music, they have wonderful music on Sundays at noon. A very good experience. The feijoada and caipirinha are 100% recommended!

Excellent Brazilian experience at Café do Brasil! In addition to the great service, including from one of the owners, Danilo, the food was very good and tasty. I ordered the traditional feijoada which was served with a nice Brazilian seasoning. I recommend it to anyone in Berlin.

Nice place full of plants facing Tempelhof airport with a relax atmosphere and fair prices. In Summer you can sit outside at the terrace and drink your cocktail/ beer while you enjoy the sunset in a quite quiet corner. The staff is really friendly. I did not try the food but I will definitely do it someday.

Brazil was very well represented in Berlin! We ate the moqueca, the picanha and ordered a dessert of cupuaçu ice cream with burnt coconut which was surreal! Go Brazil!

The best restaurant in Berlin, without a doubt! Danilo is super friendly and the food is delicious. It's the only place I found a real Brazilian caipirinha. The live music was phenomenal. I recommend booking, as it gets very busy. And don't forget to try the coxinha - it was, without a doubt, one of the best we've ever had.

We went for Valentine's Day with my wife, the restaurant is not that big even though it is very cozy, sometimes they have live Brazilian music, I recommend making a reservation. Now I'm going to the most important thing, the food was delicious more than I expected and the portions were really very generous. We ordered a varied starter and for the main course the picanha was 10/10. The prices were really not so expensive to take into account that it is in Germany.

Authentic and absolutely delicious brazilian cuisine, with lively atmosphere. The prices were fair. The location is very convenient as it is near ab U bahn station and several bus stops. Bring cash or EC Card because they don’t accept credit cards.

The quality of the food was quite nice. The appetisers were delicious. Service was also quite good. We had some issues with the bill though, we ended up paying an amount that later we couldn’t add up to. Also we weren’t informed we’d have to pay covert for a live performance that was happening there beforehand, but it wasn’t too expensive. Nonetheless it’s a nice place for Brazilian food, although I wish their broader selection of dishes were broader, instead of including some Portuguese/latino dishes.
