Tapas restaurant in Dresden

The food was very tasty. We were a larger group. Unfortunately, the cashier didn't look through it at all and was overwhelmed and very unfriendly as a result. Here the concept (who ordered what) should be urgently revised.

Super tasty tapas. 3 per person should be enough to fill you up. The staff is very quick and always friendly. There may be a wait for the food to arrive, but it's worth the wait.

A really great tapas restaurant! There is a large selection of different dishes and everything we tried was delicious. The service was excellent, the staff super friendly and attentive. I can only warmly recommend it.

We just wanted to have a little snack and a little break from sightseeing. It was perfect, there were only small portions and blankets were laid out in the garden because it was a bit cool at the end of October.

Update 10/2024: Spontaneously today after visiting the theater... and it tasted delicious again... the staff defied full tables, super fast. And thanks to Daniel (it's basically part of the inventory) for looking after us at the table! We've been back to Barcelona for a long time... and what can I say... delicious, a warm greeting to the kitchen... as always... service great... Selina took very good care of us... Mehmet and his team 💪🏼👍🏻 Oh... and the prices... Well, what won't be more expensive after Corona...

Nice busy place, but the food was pretty average. Service wasn't bad, but they were pretty busy.

It's rare to get such good paella outside of Spain.

The place is really beautiful but the waiters were not friendly at all. They seemed annoyed as they took our order. However, I must emphasize that only the people who spoke Spanish were particularly friendly and nice: a Colombian gentleman and a Venezuelan young man. The rest of the staff was extremely unfriendly. As for the food, I found it expensive and not tasty at all. I'm not sure if I would go there again

Very nice restaurant with a wide range of snacks (tapas) and main courses of Catalan/Spanish cuisine. Both appetizers and main courses were very tasty. Very polite staff, quick service. You can enter the garden with your dog and the waiter immediately brings a bowl of water for your pet. Great!

The three of us were there for lunch during the week. There was also a lunch menu with cheaper prices (including 3 tapas for the price of 2). After we had looked for a place in the very cozy atmosphere, we were served quite quickly. The really negative point at the start was that one of us was given the wrong drinks. The rest of the service worked quite well. There were five thick slices of delicious baguette for our table, which we almost didn't finish. The tapas themselves were of the usual size, so you could easily manage three tapas. To take advantage of the lunch offer, you can also calculate with 9 for the price of 6. But we also had a "normal main course" from the lunch menu, which was also quite lavish (plentiful and very well-dressed salad with pine nuts and dressing, a very properly prepared burger, French fries). Conclusion: You can do it again. If you can take advantage of the lunch prices during the week, it's actually quite cheap by Dresden standards.

Nancy...what an atitude! Running all over place, when we asked for english menu, she sigh loudly with desaprobation, ok why not:) Then we were approached by, i think, floor manager who asked us to move to another table as this one is booked from 19.00 ( it was 17.30:) or stay and finish before 19.00, nice... btw no signs for booking on the table:) We choose 7 tapas which were fantastic btw. Beer was great, martini espresso very good. We had appetite for another drink bo no one approach us anymore and Nancy run away from Us all the time. Actually We felt really unwanted...

We were able to spend a wonderful evening here. The service was friendly and nice. The food was delicious and we were super happy. We paid 330 euros with 7 eaters. The evening here is not cheap but it is an experience. Just come over. Ambiance received a point deduction because it was quite loud. It only became quieter late in the evening. We gave the service a deduction. We had ordered. First the cold tapas plates came and then nothing for a long time. Then suddenly nachos with sauce arrived. And then we had to wait again for over 15 minutes and all the warm tapas came. We would have liked to have been given a hint that the warm tapas would come later. We shared everything at the table and didn't know what would happen next and sat in front of our empty plates. Just a little explanation would have been helpful. The food made everything better and we enjoyed the meal. Thank you very much.

The food is very tasty, but unfortunately you have to expect very long waiting times. Even drinks only come after up to 30 minutes. The staff is extremely understaffed.

My wife and I were seated at a table in the main part of the restaurant. Two minutes later, we were asked to move to the back portion of the restaurant as we were told the table we were at had a reservation. The back area was pretty empty and had no vibe. Also, no server showed up at our table for the next 10 minutes, at which time we left.

Some of the food was very tasty, some of it was good and unfortunately the mushrooms were tasteless. I wouldn't take sangria again either. Service was good and friendly. Cold tapas came very quickly, we waited a good 45 minutes for the rest.

We went to eat here on a city trip. The staff was nice and quick. The food itself was OK, but the taste wasn't great either, it lacked a bit of pizzazz. So OK but not anymore.

Came hungry, left happy. Great atmosphere, a very friendly waiter, a very friendly chef who briefly explained the dish and a fantastic, authentic mixed tapas plate made the stay wonderful. Despite the bad weather outside, we felt like we were in Spain for a moment. The Tinto is also great. Big recommendation.

Delicious tapas, extensive selection

Snacked on a few plates of tapas and drank cocktails. Both were very, very good

I've never experienced anything like that. Had a company party on August 30th and were seated inside even though it was very hot inside and all the other guests were sitting outside. Since the food still wasn't there after 2.5 hours, I decided not to eat it. Service was zero (the waiters tried to save something). Since I didn't eat, I can't give a fair rating here. My conclusion... NOT RECOMMENDED under any circumstances... unfortunately

Very tasty tapas in the old town, My friend and I sat outside very relaxed and were served very nicely by the staff, especially Mr. Mohammed. The second seat on the Neustadt side is also highly recommended.

Beautifully located location, great ambience

Rump steak from the lunch menu for 12, really good, top pepper sauce. But the nachos with cheese dip for 7 euros were too expensive. The waitresses are nice and our dog had something to drink first 👍.

Unfortunately a bit disappointing, especially the service was negative. After we had our drinks relatively quickly, we had to wait almost 45 minutes before we could order our food. The food itself was also rather average, nothing really stood out and the sauces tasted more like they came from a can. The same problem arose again when paying as when ordering food. We waited a good 20 minutes until we were finally able to pay.

We were here today for the second time this week because we really liked it. The team is super friendly and you can tell that they are passionate about it. We really enjoyed the food and enjoyed it. Friendly, fast, delicious! But, I don't like to be betrayed... I ordered tapas with rabbit fillet and got chicken. Believe me, I have eaten quite a few rabbit paellas and my grandfather kept hares and rabbits that were slaughtered and eaten - I can tell rabbit meat from chicken meat.

We have been to Barcelona Dresden several times, both at lunchtime and in the evening, and can recommend it without reservation. Probably one of the best Spanish restaurants I have visited so far. We tried Pollo al ajillo grande, Nachos con Guacamole, Gambas al ajillo with their homemade pineapple lemonades. Everything was superbly cooked and mouthwatering.

Been back to Tapas Barcelona after a long time! Finally good food for the eyes again! Very, very nice service. Food came quickly. The white sangria was super delicious. The only thing that isn't so good is the price for 1 liter of sangria €30.20. You don't even pay that much in Spain!

We have been there twice every year since 2015. Unfortunately this year for the last time. The waiters were friendly, but after the meal no one was at our table to ask if we wanted anything else. It started with a wonderful gentleman from the service/table assignment. He was extremely friendly and funny. The service, unfortunately, not so much. Whenever we are in Dresden, we visit “our” Spaniard - the TAPAS BARCELONA We have received a friendly welcome there every time for over 15 years. The many small tapas dishes are always freshly prepared. From the house lemonade to the cocktail, everything is delicious. The location is sensational; Completely centrally located in the old town but still very quiet.

We were in Dresden again and of course at Tapas Barcelona. Wonderful Spanish cuisine and very tasty. It was good to see Mehmet back at Barcelona. Coming back to Barcelona for Canaletto.

Yesterday we had dinner with 6 people. We reserved the table in advance. This also made sense during the holiday season as the restaurant was very busy. Our waitress Stella was very nice, took all orders quickly and friendly and even special requests went smoothly. The tapas came in the typical ceramic bowls and were all very tasty and beautifully presented. We would like to come again! Kudos again to Stella at this point!

Best tapas restaurant in Dresden! Rustic atmosphere, delicious tapas and nice service from Nancy, Daniel, Mehmet. You can sit outside very nicely. The seasonal Sprizz are recommended. The friendly waiter from Greece makes a great frappe upon request. It was a pleasure.

Food disappointing, service and ambience good

I would recommend everyone to go to the toilet first. When you go out you take a look into the kitchen. I thought I was going to throw up. Leftover food was scattered on the floor. The employees stepped on the kitchen waste and no one cared. Unfortunately, we already had our food on the table at that point (after 1 hour). Drinks arrived after ordering after half an hour. The service staff was completely overwhelmed and no one knew what the others were doing. In addition, waiters from surrounding restaurants came and spoke to the waiters so that they could not do their jobs. Drinks were OK. I wouldn't go there again. Then it's better to go somewhere else.

Nobody cared that the drinks were empty, after an hour of waiting we got the food for one person and the other food was simply forgotten. Only when they wanted to pay a lot we only received food for one person and still no discount as an excuse. Not recommended!

Today we experienced the worst service ever. On Wednesday afternoon, when there wasn't much going on, the staff was quite overwhelmed. What happens on the weekend then? We arrived at 4:30 p.m. At that time there were hardly any people on the terrace, only 4 tables were occupied. We ordered garlic bread, 5 prawns, tapas plate number 104 and sangria from waiter Mohannad. He seemed insecure, spoke German poorly, and answered our questions completely differently. Instead of olive oil, he understood that we wanted olives. When asked another question about ordering, he responded by asking if you would like to sit inside. Totally messed up! Ok, after 10 minutes we managed it, he repeated and took our order, everything was right, we heard right. Everything was on the table quickly... Except tapas plates! After the tapas plate, where is it, when will we finally get it, we asked about it several times and with the various waiters. The answer was straight away: ah, sorry, I'll sort it out in the kitchen. We waited patiently until 7:00 p.m.!! 2 hours! Isn't it normal that for 2 hours none of the 4-5 waiters could clarify it and finally bring it. All waiters simply ignored our complaint. The older waiter, who was informed about the situation, tried to be nice, waved and smiled at me, but he didn't do anything. At 7:00 p.m. the restaurant was pretty full, all the other 20 tables received their plates one after the other except our table! Then we had to make a really clear announcement: either bring the plate or the bill. Then finally Mohannad appeared at the table for the first time since he took our order and said: but you didn't order tapas number 104! That was the last straw of our patience! And the stupidest marketing strategy was the advertising of the other restaurant, La Osteria, which by the way belongs to the same owner, in the TOILET!!!! Is it joke?! By the way, La Osteria, despite being full, has the fastest service. So I'll never go to Tapas Barcelona again! At the other tapas in Münzgasse everything runs faster and tastes much better. Staff in the restaurant in the center should not necessarily meet the high demands of the guests, but should at least have adequate language skills. Awkward ! And stuff like that in the city center. We'll never go there again. And by the way, sangria in Barcelona city and Catalonia is served with the ice cubes in the pitcher, and not with the ice cubes in each cup individually.

We have been there several times and unfortunately we see how the quality decreases from time to time. On Friday it all seemed quite overwhelming. It took a long time before we could order. The drinks also took forever. Some of the tapas we ordered came cold. However, after complaining, we never saw them again. The wrinkled potatoes tasted old and were so mushy that they seemed like they had been microwaved for too long. We still had to pay for the items we complained about and were very disappointed.

It was delicious, but the waiter showed obvious discriminatory behavior. It was obvious that his attitude towards the Germans and us was different. He basically left us alone for a long time and then chatted happily with the Germans.

We thought he left for packing box, it turned out he served more than 3 tables and checked two tables and cleaned so many other tables but did not do anything for us,asked other tables if everything was okay but ignored my eye contact. It was not a crowded day at all. The food was okay, I didn’t see everything bad about it. The service was very bad though. Won’t come again.

Were in Dresden today and wanted to go out to eat. However, the service, female/blonde, is anything but friendly. You can't even place an entire order. When serving drinks, people spill and just run away. Result: table wet which the customer can wipe up, glasses wet.
