We always enjoy coming to St. Pauli Eck. A great restaurant in the middle of the quiet Hechtviertel. Wonderful ambience, paired with a varied menu and dishes that delight the palate. As I said, we're always happy to come back!

I’ve eaten here by the end of the year and I can’t find any better place I’ve been before in the whole 2024. Perfection in all the choices, highly sustainable local produce, most of the producers are slow food, beer included. A humble, passionate and vibrant restaurant. I maybe found (as the only downside) the wine menu, I was hoping to see some other Italian names on the list, but this doesn’t ruin the experience at all. I can’t wait to come back and trying other dishes!

We had a fantastic evening in St. Pauli with 7 friends. The open nature of the service immediately made us feel at home. The food was a poem - every dish was a taste experience. The wine selection was small but fine, but very well selected and excitingly described. The cocktails were also delicious. We were all thrilled and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great recommendation in Dresden's Hechtviertel. The cuisine is seasonal and regional, at the highest level and always surprising. Advice and service are always impeccable, the team has a great feel for the map and can help wonderfully with questions - and is friendly and very service-oriented. It makes sense to reserve a table in advance, but this can be done easily online.

I went to this place to celebrate my birthday. I highly recommend it, it offers traditional German dishes with a pinch of modernity, the service is exceptional. Average prices for the quality offered. I recommend going by public transport because it may be difficult to find parking.

Sensationally good, very nice, unobtrusive atmosphere, unfortunately too small: you should always book a table in advance. Even in the warmer months, getting a seat outside after 7 p.m. is a bit of a gamble without food or good drinks. A true delight. It's best to get a reservation, but they were able to accommodate our party with outside seating. The food is amazing and somehow both traditional and modern. A great experience all around and I'll be back!

We came to this restaurant by chance. When we saw the menu we really wanted to make a reservation for the next day because we had only booked 3 days in Dresden. Despite our busy schedule, we were able to get a table for 2 hours. We would like to thank you very much again. The food at Sankt Pauli was absolutely Cobra class. We had the smoked potato and mushroom soup and the sweet and sour butter good pumpkin as a starter, as well as the Steibeisser fillet and the pastured beef osso bucco. Everything was very tasty and the portions were completely sufficient. I have to deduct a star for the service because we waited a long time until we had a menu and our drinks also took a long time to arrive. But you have to say that the place was very full and there were only two waitresses there. We can highly recommend the Sankt Pauli.

Really very tasteful food and the service is very pleasant. BUT: The pricing policy is underground. This is in no way true to the price-performance ratio. And that has nothing to do with inflation or VAT or other excuses... It's a shame, but if we want to eat at such high prices, we know better places.

Yesterday we were there again after a long time. The ambience is ok, unfortunately very small selection of slightly overpriced food, finding a parking space is at best satisfactory - all reasons why the restaurant is not my first choice and this time I arrived by bike. The service was quite friendly at first. Drinks came after about 5 minutes. The food took a while to arrive. Unfortunately, I generally don't like the menu at all, so I chose the most suitable dish for me - pullet pork with pasta. It was OK but I wouldn't order it again. I tried a friend's straw pork, but the taste wasn't for me either. The lemonade, on the other hand, was great. What motivates me to write this review is the matter of the payment or tip at the end. Because we wanted to pay individually, we had to come to the counter. Well, if there is no other option, okay. There I was the only one who paid my amount with a card, didn't say anything and had the slip handed to me. I was amazed when I noticed that my amount had just been rounded up by €2.90 without me saying anything of the sort. I confronted the lady and was asked what I had said and I said "Nothing! If only 90 cents, it's not worth more to me." Then came an annoyed "OKAAAY..." With a frown and rolled eyes, I at least got €2 back. Honestly, that doesn't work at all!!! No apology and instead something like this... I'm not forced to tip anywhere, especially not for a service that doesn't convince me. If I give something, it is of my own accord and only if I am completely satisfied. This was not the case here. It's a shame, I hope this isn't common practice.

Was there with my wife today. I had the schnitzel from the happy straw pig which also made me very happy. There was also a wheat from gutmann and it was really good (man). My wife had the cheese plate with bread and she was very enthusiastic. We thought the atmosphere was really great and I particularly liked that the waitress didn't ask during the meal if everything was okay. This is done in many other pubs and I always find it annoying. Not here! I find that to be very good and professional. Another word about the schnitzel! It is really first class and difficult to compare with any other schnitzel. The negative 1 star review that can be read here was absolutely incomprehensible and I consider it unrepresentative. We'd love to come back. Oh right. The guests at the neighboring table had the house burger and it looked like it was painted.

The atmosphere is similar to a pub, the seats are clear and therefore pre-ordering is almost essential. If you sit by the raised windows, the ingress of cigarette smoke can be annoying. Ordered for 6 people at 7:00 p.m. With 5 main courses starting at €17.50, the menu is quite clear but not a drawback. When ordering drinks, I ordered food at the same time, but the employee quickly refused, "... only drinks for now, we'll do food later.." At the latest with this paternalism, my understanding was at a loss! When ordering drinks for the second time, they said, "...you can order the food when everyone is there" (there were still 2 people missing at the table). Even my comment that I was hungry was not addressed in the slightest. I was speechless. The next reason was "...if the food is ordered staggered, the kitchen will be confused..."!! Luckily the missing 2 people arrived, so after 2 beers and a scotch I was finally able to order the schnitzel (after 8 p.m.!!) But then people were attentive, namely when paying by card with the question of the amount of the tip. Conclusion: you can go but you don't have to. Edit: Of course I will question the request added by the owner below and pass it on. As I already wrote, I duly paid MY bill. I actually don't know about the pending order. Edit: the missing "beer round" was of course paid for by the defaulter, with the note that even after a long wait, no one showed up at the table, even when leaving, the restaurant would have been without service. It was assumed that this was due to kitchen cleaning.

Original and simply great!! Who great food and drinks! He should go to St. Pauli! Nice waiters are included! I ate one of my best tartare there, if you like it as much as I do, you have to go there!! ...And there is also a nice little cocktail/long drink selection that was better prepared than in some bars in the Neustadt!!

Exceptionally created dishes prepared with sophistication. Plus really delicious drinks, one or two special wines and various beers. The atmosphere on the street is very calm and beautiful. Pleasant for sitting for a long time in summer until late at night. The staff very friendly and personal. There may be longer waiting times from time to time, but that's okay. We recommend!

I had a country pork schnitzel with potato salad. The potato salad wasn't bad but could have used a bit more spice with more cucumber. The schnitzel and salad were excellent. Especially for the price. I also had a French grapefruit lemonade, I love such niche products ;) The service was really pleasant and you had the impression that it simply belonged exactly where it was. Sympathetic man with dungarees. Finding a parking space is always a little more difficult there, but if you look, you'll find it. Otherwise a really great atmosphere in the old butcher shop. Just leave everything as it is 😜!!!

The Sankt Pauli is something very special. Small but well thought out card. Drinks that are not found on usual menus. Restaurateurs who do their job with heart and soul because of their calling. Be sure to reserve!

Food is very good, but options are very limited. I came here with a group and wanted to try the desserts while the other group members wanted a proper dish. The staff outright refused to serve me a kid's portion even though I told them I wanted to spare some room for ALL desserts. They forced me to order a starter instead. Later, when the main course was finished we had to actively call the waiter to the table to order dessert. Once again they did not take me seriously, so I had to order the desserts over multiple orders. What a pain. -- Do me a favour: You are running a business. If a customer says they are there for desserts, let them order a kid's dish and all desserts at once. If people are joking about being a sweet tooth, they will let you know. Otherwise, take them seriously!

Nette kleine Lokalität im Dresdner Hechtviertel. Leider hat der Service die letzten Monate deutlich nachgelassen, so dass man bspw. bereits 90 min vor Ladenschluss keine Getränke mehr bekommt.

Nicht günstig, aber auch nicht alltäglich, dafür immer wieder gut und super freundlich.

Ganz unscheinbar am Eck - gegenüber der gleichnamigen Apotheke/Kirche - findet sich das Sankt Pauli. Bei schönem Wetter verdoppeln sich die Sitzplätze durch die Bestuhlung des Gehweg und der ist breit genug, dass es angenehm bleibt. Das Essen bietet überraschend ausgefallene Kombinationen, das freut Auge, Gaumen und Gemüt. Nette Menschen, nette Mitarbeiter - ein wunderbarer Ort zum einkehren.
