Sankt Pauli Restaurant in Dresden

A lovely little restaurant in Dresden's Neustadt district, with a small menu but delicious food and drinks! We'd love to come back! It's best reached on foot or by bike.

A beautiful place, friendly service, very good food, but also a few things that unfortunately make the experience less than perfect: a different starter to the one ordered (we had it anyway and it was also very good), the wine ordered with the main course was served after more than half of the generous portion had already been eaten and it is not necessarily the case that the long-empty aperitif glasses are still standing when the really good espresso has already been drunk.

Incredibly delicious food, great service, always happy to come back.

I was thrilled to have secured a table for two that same day through my online reservation. I also enjoyed sitting right at the bar and being able to see what was going on. The bar manager even gave me a few tips. Overall, a very enjoyable evening with fabulous food in a wonderful atmosphere. The service was very attentive and answered all of our questions. A very pleasant visit to the Sankt Pauli Restaurant. Very polite service, delicious food, and mostly local produce. You can observe the bustling life, and we were right across the street from the Sankt Pauli Ruins, our evening destination. A reservation at the restaurant is recommended.

Super delicious food in a fantastic setting and atmosphere. We ate there with our two kids while passing through, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was as you'd expect. We actually had reservations, but they still managed to get us a table. And please note: if you're looking for classic cuisine without fusion, this is probably not the place for you. The menu here was fusion meets tradition.

A great evening—everything went perfectly. It was packed, but the effort they put into finding a table for even the last person was outstanding. And despite the hustle and bustle, everyone was friendly. Top notch!

It's always a special experience to choose something new from the small seasonal menu and be surprised. With finely balanced dishes and often surprising combinations, you can experience true culinary delights here. A great selection of wine and beer rounds out the experience. Reservations are not only easy to make online, but also highly recommended.

I had hoped for more. The main course was okay, the dessert was delicious. The service was friendly, but unfortunately we had to wait too long for the food.

A very nice little restaurant, very good food, a small but all the more exquisite menu. The prices seem a bit high at first, but when you consider the quality and quantity on your plate, everything is in perfect proportion. The proximity to the St. Pauli Theater Ruins makes it the perfect place to start a theater evening. I'll definitely be back!!! The pulled beef ciabatta was truly a dream!!!

The staff were very attentive and checked back at our table many times during our dining experience, which is not usually the restaurant culture in Germany. The space was spotless and charming. The drinks and food were out standing. Creative interesting dishes that were filling and delicious. We will absolutely be back.

I recently visited this restaurant with a group of nine people and overall I was very satisfied. The service was exceptionally friendly and surprisingly quick. Despite the restaurant being completely booked, she found a comfortable place for us. The drinks were delicious and absolutely right in terms of price. The only downside was the daily special, a vegan lasagna. Unfortunately, this was only served lukewarm and at a price of just under €19, I would have wished for a higher quality. Apart from that, it was a very positive visit!

We were at Sant Pauli yesterday and completely satisfied. The starter tasted excellent – ​​fresh, creative and perfectly balanced. According to saesische.de, Sankt Pauli ended up in third place on the schnitzel scale in Dresden and of course we had to see for ourselves. In short - the schnitzel is very tasty, is served with Saxon potato salad and a side salad, it is nice and thin and has a slightly crispy breading - simply delicious 🙂 There is also a small but fine beer selection 👍 What you should note is that table reservations are valid for 2 hours - but reservations from 7:30 p.m. are open-end.

Small, quaint restaurant. The food is very tasty and made from regional products. The menu is manageable, but there are both vegetarian and vegan alternatives. The staff was extremely friendly. We had nothing to endure there.

The alternative halo is mandatory for the audience. The food is great. Unfortunately, you smell a lot like the kitchen afterwards.

We always enjoy coming to St. Pauli Eck. A great restaurant in the middle of the quiet Hechtviertel. Wonderful ambience, paired with a varied menu and dishes that delight the palate. As I said, we're always happy to come back!

I’ve eaten here by the end of the year and I can’t find any better place I’ve been before in the whole 2024. Perfection in all the choices, highly sustainable local produce, most of the producers are slow food, beer included. A humble, passionate and vibrant restaurant. I maybe found (as the only downside) the wine menu, I was hoping to see some other Italian names on the list, but this doesn’t ruin the experience at all. I can’t wait to come back and trying other dishes!

The wine selection was small but fine, but very well selected and excitingly described. The cocktails were also delicious. We were all thrilled and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Advice and service are always impeccable, the team has a great feel for the map and can help wonderfully with questions - and is friendly and very service-oriented. It makes sense to reserve a table in advance, but this can be done easily online.

I went to this place to celebrate my birthday. I highly recommend it, it offers traditional German dishes with a pinch of modernity, the service is exceptional. Average prices for the quality offered. I recommend going by public transport because it may be difficult to find parking.

The food at Sankt Pauli was absolutely Cobra class. We had the smoked potato and mushroom soup and the sweet and sour butter good pumpkin as a starter, as well as the Steibeisser fillet and the pastured beef osso bucco. Everything was very tasty and the portions were completely sufficient. I have to deduct a star for the service because we waited a long time until we had a menu and our drinks also took a long time to arrive. But you have to say that the place was very full and there were only two waitresses there. We can highly recommend the Sankt Pauli.

Really very tasteful food and the service is very pleasant. BUT: The pricing policy is underground. This is in no way true to the price-performance ratio. And that has nothing to do with inflation or VAT or other excuses... It's a shame, but if we want to eat at such high prices, we know better places.
