Very nice beer garden in the middle of Rosenheim. Food was delicious. Non-alcoholic wheat beer too. Completely satisfied.

The funny name suggests that this must be a hipster beer bar. The look of the inn, which was renovated a few years ago, also reflects its youthful demeanor after the renovation. As it should be, in addition to barley juices from the Flötzinger private brewery, there are also home-brewed ones in the glass. The food selection is diverse and offers the right culinary delight for every vegan, allergy sufferer and celiac disease patient. If you're tired of run-of-the-mill beer gardens, you'll find what you're looking for here.

Aunt Paula in the Mailkeller is a very rustic restaurant with many differently designed and very beautiful guest rooms and, above all, an incredibly cozy, shady beer garden. Very good Bavarian food at acceptable prices, very nice staff and, in addition to the tried and tested Flötzinger beer, our own tasty beers such as "Aunt Paula" - a really tasty, naturally cloudy, light beer. It's worth stopping here when visiting Rosenheim!

Actually quite good, the food was great, the meat was on point, the portions were large and the price/performance ratio was also good. The beer garden in the middle of Rosenheim, very well located. Only the waiter is extremely slow or just totally listless. All other service was very friendly and quick.

Perfect place for staying, lounch was perfect

Based on the menu, I was looking forward to a giant currywurst with lots of fries. Exactly as it was described. Unfortunately for me and my colleague who ate the same thing, it was the opposite.

A very nice old inn with good home-brewed beer. The menu is very amusing to read, there are dishes and drinks with funny names, as well as nice stories about the history of the house. The service staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is normal, good. There is a lack of spice and creativity that the menu promises. The beer garden lacks compensation (for example nice seating) for the lack of a view (residential area). So a nice afternoon, but no highlights.

Last night, unfortunately much too late, I discovered this very beautiful beer garden. The kitchen was already closed, but the very friendly service still organized a small bite for us, which we thought was really great. And then we weren't even charged for it. Just our drinks. Good food, not special but good honest food. Was hoping for the traditional schnitzel that fills the whole plate, instead 3 smaller pieces, not really traditional in my opinion. Good potato salat, good balance with the vinegar and spices. The spatzle was really good according to my guests, the best dish we had was the pork tenderloin, spatzle and veggies with a really good sauce. Currywurst was also good, the worst was nicely spiced. The beers were also really good, home brewed. Waiter was awesome. A 3.5 if that was possible.

Mega dear waiter who put in a lot of effort and apologized right at the beginning if it took longer because a group of 40 people had just arrived. But then everything went smoothly :-) I've always been very happy with the food, the salads and dumplings are great. And I particularly like the beer garden with its trees and fairy lights. Always happy here!

We love Paula! We've been going to Aunt Paula's for years, be it for an occasion or just for dinner. At the beginning of May this year we celebrated our daughter's baptism at Paula and everything went smoothly. We were able to bring cake over in advance and then it was cooled again and it was beautifully decorated. Drinks and dinner arrived quickly, there was something for everyone and everyone enjoyed it. The playground and play area were of course great with children. Will continue to enjoy going there.

Brauerfladen italia and the kasspatzen were delicate. We are happy to recommend it.

Nice beer garden, public viewing, nice service staff, food ok

The food was great, especially the selection of vegetarian dishes. However, I didn't think the fries were crispy enough and the service wasn't outside often (perhaps because of the football game). But otherwise you can only recommend the beer garden simply because of its own types of beer, all of which taste really good.

Hallo! Nun waren wir das 3 mal da ! Und das Essen war unterirdisch schlecht ich hatte ein Rumpsteak mit Pommes und etwas Röstgemüsse meine Frau hat ein Holzfällerstaek mit Salat und Pommes das Rumsteak sollte Medium sein es war durch und niemals 250 Gramm wie in der Karte das Steak war kalt und ohne jedes Gewürz das Gemüse fast roh das Fleisch war zäh und ungenießbar hab es größtenteils zurück gegeben der Salat meiner Frau war nicht angemacht und ohne Gewürze den Rest spare ich mir nur eines für 25,90 sowas rauszugebende ist ne Frechheit auf alle Fälle war es jetzt echt das letzte Mal dass wir da was gegessen haben.

Went to Paula's for the first time in a long time today. After the quality unfortunately declined significantly during and after Corona, we wanted to try it again today. And we don't regret it. The waiter, who was “new” to us, was very friendly and helpful and the food was really tasty. Like in the old days. Since the beer garden at my aunt's is really nice and now the service and food are good again, we're happy to come back.

It's a shame, actually a very nice atmosphere and quite friendly staff. Unfortunately, despite the good cheese, the burger was in the lower taste range. The patty tasted like a very cheap frozen patty and was even difficult to chew. In the other dish, the currywurst was not at all convincing. Both dishes were accompanied by fries, which unfortunately only earned a school grade, which just allows for a transfer... When paying, they asked if everything was ok. When asked about the above deficiencies, the waiter only said “Hhmmm”. That sounded something like: "We live in a free country because of freedom of expression and stuff, but you can also exaggerate it. You can now run away with your opinion!" Well, we'll probably stay at this vastness for quite a while...

Were there for dinner in April 2024. Great, beautiful traditional inn with a guest garden right in the center. Perfect for a stop after a stroll through town or a bike ride. The menu is varied, including vegetarian options. We had the daily specials and were very satisfied. The employees are very friendly, attentive and the service was quick. A really good guesthouse for us. The employees and the boss are communicative and extremely helpful. We would like to thank you for the great willingness to help that we were able to experience.

Auf Familienbesuch in Rosenheim sind wir ins Tante Paula. Wir hatten den gegrillten Lach und dieser war ausgezeichnet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Es war recht viel los, sodass wir Glück hatten, überhaupt einen Tisch zu bekommen. Das Service super und schnell. Wer das Wirtshausfeeling mag, dem wird es gefallen. Traditionell, urig, ein Gasthaus, wo man immer und zu jeder Zeit einkehren kann und mag.

It's really a very good place to eat. It's near the city center. The food you saw was very tasty, I think 21.90 without salad. The salad has to be paid extra.... in total I paid 31.80. And it was so delicious.❤️ I'll be back Vg

Friendly service and the delicious food came very quickly for 9 people. The per capita value (10-20€) is lower because we had 5x the daily meal. But the other dishes were definitely worth the price.

Were there for dinner for the first time. We were all very happy with the food and service. The children especially enjoyed the schnitzel. The restaurant is barrier-free and also suitable for older people. The menu has lots of vegetarian and vegan food with good labeling.

We were on a day trip in Rosenheim and stopped in for a snack. A very warm welcome from the boss personally 😀 Dogs and “dinosaurs” are also welcome at any time. We enjoyed the food very much. All in all, a successful snack. We'd love to come back. Many greetings from Münsterland 😉

A guesthouse that suits my taste!! Very good cuisine, committed and super friendly staff! Here, as a guest, you feel that you are warmly welcome (unfortunately this is rare these days). I'm already looking forward to the summer time, because the beer garden and that in the city is a "stunner"👍!

Very nice restaurant with very well-kept facilities. You can watch beer being brewed and courses are also offered under the direction of an experienced master brewer - very interesting. Only my roast pork wasn't what we imagine it to be. The sauce was thick and the meat was completely submerged in it. No trace of crust. But it was tender and a really big portion. This results in a point deduction...

Das Lokal hätte so viel Potenzial. Die Einrichtung ist toll, der Service war gut, das Essen war leider gar nichts. Wir hatten ein Cordon Bleu und einen großen gemischten Salatteller mit Knoblauchbaguette. Das Cordon Bleu war aus der Friteuse und triffte richtig vom Fett. Die Pommes waren sehr, sehr knusprig und auch nicht gut. Der gemischte Salatteller bestand aus vielen großen Salatblättern und darunter befand sich ungewürzter Kartoffelsalat und ein wenig Krautsalat. Fünf Gurkenscheiben die jeweils mit einer halben Cherrytomate verziert waren rundete das ganze ab. Das Dressing wurde in einer eigenen kleinen Glasflasche gereicht, was grundsätzlich eine tolle Idee ist… war aber leider zu wenig. Das Knoblauchbaguette war eine alte getostete Semmel die in Scheiben geschnitten war. Knoblauch war keiner zu schmecken. Im ganzen sehr, sehr schade, da der erste Eindruck von der Gaststätte sehr positiv war.

Aunt Paula is/was one of my favorite locations in Rosenheim, nice and attentive service and a rustic atmosphere. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the kitchen today. As a starter I ordered: “Tomato bread: roasted farmer’s baguette with diced tomatoes and garlic 7.90” The baguette was so hard that even a fork couldn't penetrate it. Watery and tasteless tomato slices, lots of sweet baldamico cream. I then skipped the main course. It's a shame, you can do better!

Pancake soups were served almost cold and surprisingly inedible, salmon fillet was OK, waitress was OK too. The cook should try what leaves the kitchen himself, then it can be good 😉

Nice quaint restaurant! There are for vegetarians and vegans delicious dishes! The vegetarian flatbreads taste good terrific! When I asked, the waitress unfortunately didn't know whether the flatbreads were served warm or cold, which surprised me a bit! Ordered Kaiserschmarrn as dessert, a culinary delight! Never had such a good Kaiserschmarrn before, the portion was also absolutely ok!😋 There was nothing to complain about but that Service is not overwhelming! The good selection of vegetarian.and I was even pleasantly surprised by vegan alternatives!👍 All in all recommended!

4.20 euros for a “tomato salad” with 5 tomatoes in a mini box. Absolute impudence!

Ordered two dishes to pick up by phone on Saturday. After 15 minutes they could be picked up. So far so good. The rude awakening only came when we unpacked the food at home. We ordered Wiener Schnitzel and gyro pan. The least bad thing was that the sauces were simply forgotten for both dishes. What was worse, however, was that the Wiener Schnitzel for just under €20.00 consisted of perhaps two mini pieces of meat, which together probably weighed less than 100 g and would have been a joke even as a children's portion. In addition, it is highly doubtful that it was veal, unlike what was ordered separately. The pan gyros was also a tragedy and actually an insult to the Greek gyros. Chopped so small that you couldn't identify it and almost had to eat it with a spoon. It didn't taste like anything. Sadly, both dishes were 90% filled with cheap fries, which is just outrageous given the price of over €40 for both dishes. We definitely won't be ordering anymore and maybe Aunt Paula shouldn't offer the pick-up service anymore either, because the portions are definitely bigger when you eat there and taste better. Simply disappointing.

Today I was there for dinner with a group of people (18 people). The selection of drinks is very varied. In addition to the normal soft drinks, there were also various types of beer as well as iced tea and lemonades. The service is very friendly and quick. I ate salmon with vegetables, potato rosti and sour cream and a salad. The price was just under €20. Personally, I found the portion size a bit too small for the price. But it definitely tasted good. Unfortunately the bakery flatbreads are no longer available, which means I have to deduct a star. But I can still recommend this restaurant because it has a nice lunch menu and a cozy beer garden.

Were for a company party In some snack bars you eat better and in the end we begged for a tip because 8 euros wasn't enough. I've experienced a lot but something like that doesn't work The boss should perhaps read the reviews as we are not an isolated case.

Had our company lunch today Service was very nice Unfortunately some of the food came cold Medium steak was very well done and tough. We didn't give it back because it would just end up in the bin. Dessert was great. Then the bill was paid with a tip. In our opinion, the waitress was very cheeky and seriously asked if we would give more tips because otherwise they would pay extra. It's never happened to me either, it doesn't work.

Sehr nettes Restaurant. Ich kannte es nicht, daher war ich erstaunt darüber, dass es in dem rustikal eingerichteten, bayerischen Wirtshaus solch modernes Essen gibt. Die Fladen sind sehr lecker, genauso wie die Burger. Das Essen kam schnell, die Preise waren angemessen, die Bedienung war freundlich. Es gibt noch eine extra Bar. Kann man uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wir freuten uns auf ein gutes Nachtessen und wurden leider enttäuscht, meine Partnerin bestellte ein Wienerschnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat, was aus der Küche kam war Pommes und zwei Schnitzel, wir reklamierten und so wurde die Beilage wie bestellt serviert. Leider sah man dem Schnitzel an der Farbe an, dass es schon zum zweiten Mal in der Pfanne gebraten wurde, dementsprechend war es lederig und trocken. Der Kartoffelsalat wurde mit etwas Salz ohne Sauce serviert, ich habe in meinem ganzen leben noch nie so ein dilettantisches Essen gesehen. Der Rest des Essen konnte man einigermassen geniessen, die Bedienung war doch noch sehr Kulant, wir mussten das einte Menü nicht bezahlen, aber die Freude war schon dahin.

Haben einen wunderbaren Abend im Tante Paula verbracht, uns durch die leckeren Biere probiert und uns die teils ausgefallenen Gerichte schmecken lassen. Der Service war auf zack und ausgesprochen freundlich. Kommen gerne wieder vorbei wenn wir in Rosenheim sind.

This might have just become my favorite restaurant in Rosenheim. The waitress was wonderful and cheerful, the food was delicious and the dessert was excellent. We will definitely come back.

Tante Paula ist ein sehr gutes restaurant nicht zu teuer und sehr gutes essen ich würde es sehr empfehlen und wieder dort hingehen!

Alles gut, vor allem ein netter und sympathischer Kellner!

Die Selleriesuppe mit gerösteten Mandeln haben wir ohne Mandeln dafür mit rohen Selleriestücken bekommen. Auf unsere Nachfrage wurden uns keine neue Suppe sondern ein Schälchen ungeröstete Mandeln gebracht mit der Bemerkung rüber geben können wir ja selber. Die knusprige Gänsekeule habe ich mit komplett weisser schwabeliger Haut bekommen dazu gab es 2 Kartoffelklösse in Grösse eines Tischtennisballs die absolut Gummiartig waren. Die Keule wurde zurück geschickt. Der Kellner war kurz angebunden und alles andere wie freundlich. Wir werden dort kein Geld mehr ausgeben.

Immer ein Besuch wert. Mann kann dort gut feiern.

Tolles Restaurant mit super schönem Winterbiergarten. Hütten wie beim Weihnachtsmarkt, Glühwein, Kinderpunsch, marshmallows zum selbst rösten und und und, definitiv zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder

Geräumiges Wirtshaus mit gutem Essen und eigener kleiner Brauerei!! Alles ging sehr zügig und total unkompliziert. Bei fast 20 Leuten konnten wir gleichzeitig essen!! Das habe ich noch nie so erlebt. Drei Tische zusammenstellen ebenfalls überhaupt kein Thema. Ebenfalls noch nie so eine nette Bedienung (aus Serbien😉) erlebt. Spielbereich für Kinder! Ich werde auf alle Fälle wieder dorthin einkehren.

Ein sehr großes aber dennoch gemütliches und gepflegtes Lokal mit gutbürgerlicher und dennoch ausgefallener Küche. Preis/Leistung ist angemessen. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die gelentlichen Events sind abwechslungsreich. Der Biergarten ist für ein Lokal in der Innenstadt gigantisch. Meinem Essen (Schweinsbrodn) fehlte nach meinem Geschmack etwas der Pfiff, aber das ist ja bekanntlich Geschmackssache. Danke trotzdem für das gelungene Erlebnis.
