Flötzinger Bräustüberl in Rosenheim

The poor service we received here is unbelievable. Despite having a reservation, we not only had to wait a long time at the entrance for a table, but were then asked to leave by the waiter because a guest was sitting incorrectly. He did so in a rather rude manner. Fortunately, there were/are excellent alternatives in wonderful Rosenheim at Stockhammer, Tante Paula, or Augustiner.

Highly recommended. Delicious local dishes and even better beer. The service was also great. We'll be back.

Cozy atmosphere, big portions, fast service. The prices are also in a normal range. The menu is a bit limited, there are not too many choices. The service was fast, but there was no salt, pepper, ketchup, mayonnaise etc. on the table. When I asked the waiter, he brought these, but contrary to food and drink service, this took a lot of time.

Brauhausrösti tasted like warmed-up frozen goods, the mushroom sauce was subterranean in taste, service was friendly but obviously stressed and overwhelmed.

Had a very good meal in the beer garden. Very good roast pork (I think a little less meat and a little more dumplings/coleslaw would be better proportioned), great asparagus-parmesan ravioli and apple fritters and Kaiserschmarrn were great (the latter maybe a little less caramel, it was the highest limit of sugariness for me) Very friendly and really good, fast service. Beer is also fine. And you can also sit nicely in the beer garden. Very high on my pub ranking, deservedly so!

The young waitress (only in the house for a short time) was very capable, helpful and you could clearly tell that she enjoyed her job. He: Experienced, competent, humorous. Eat: Delicious. The roast pork with a great, crispy crust, the pan is super tasty. It's my birthday and everything went right. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We wanted to have a beer on Sunday evening at 9:45 p.m., but we were told that it would now be closed... (according to the internet it's open until 12:00 a.m.) which is a shame and not customer-oriented!

Like every year, we were here in Rosenheim at the Flötzinger brewery and, as always, ate very well and of course drank very well. We always like to come back because it has such a typical tavern atmosphere and of course the beers taste particularly good. The service was also good, you can't complain.

Brewery with typical dishes. Excellent beer. Very kind staff. Generous portions. Prices still very accessible for groups and families.

Nice, rustic restaurant with friendly service and good food

A Bräustüberl as you imagine it! Traditionally furnished with a good selection of classic Bavarian cuisine. The food was very good at absolutely fair prices. The service is excellent in terms of friendliness and speed. Went there on a Saturday evening and it was busy but the gentleman at the door when I asked for a seat was very friendly. We got a place quickly, but reservations are definitely advantageous.

It's really great here. We had a nice meal first. The service was very friendly and nice. It's also fun, very pleasant. The food was delicious, there's nothing to complain about. Afterwards we went bowling for another round. I can also highly recommend it. Everything is still very new and great fun. You can even have bumpers made up for small children. Great location, great staff and really good food?

Service friendly, landlord unfriendly, unusual for the Bavarian restaurant… Meat was tough and fried to death. Beer too warm, glass not even tarnished, 1 cm below the calibration mark. Greetings from those who are not from here... That's the comment from the landlord

Very nice service and very good food

A wonderful inn near the city center. The food was very, very tasty and was delivered super quickly. The service is extremely on point and very, very friendly! We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit in the beer garden, but the dining rooms inside were also very well maintained and rustic. The cordon bleu with obazdn and fried potatoes was absolutely amazing, as was the fish with wild garlic crust and asparagus - there was nothing left! We can recommend the Bräustüberl without a guilty conscience! But a reservation would definitely be an advantage.

It is strongly recommended that you make a reservation. The brewery is very large, with several rooms, but it was still packed. The background noise was correspondingly loud, but the service was really on point and very friendly and quick. We were there with a large group and were well served. The next day we spontaneously wanted to go again, now just the two of us, but we couldn't get any more space.

Unfortunately there was a small beer shower from the waitress, but that can happen. Thank God beer doesn't make red wine stains 😌

Nice Bräustüberl with delicious food and good beer. The service is top and the connections are also great – it can be reached from the train station in just 10 minutes. Absolutely recommended!

Great roast pork, great beer anyway

If you look like a tourist and not a German, the waitress will simply bring you schnitzel with fries instead of the dish you ordered. When ordering, I not only mentioned the name of the dish, but also pointed out the menu. But it didn't help me.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has declined greatly. The portions are now tiny, but the prices have steadily risen. The food used to be really tasty and worth the money, but now it just doesn't taste good anymore. Two years ago I would have recommended it, but definitely not today. Very disappointing!

Had a very tasty bacon schnitzel and an excellently mixed Aperol Spritz. Plus friendly service and sunshine on the terrace. Gladly again. 😀

Brewery-restaurant with excellent cuisine and very good beer. Only in the case of the Braustüberlschnitzel was the meat fried very dry, but otherwise everything was absolutely delicious. My tip: the Cordon Blue. Service attentive and friendly. Younger audience. All in all, absolutely recommended. Update 2025: Still very tasty. Braustüberlschnitzel perfect this time. The roast pork and the Wiener Schnitzel are also highly recommended. And the appetizer with the unpronounceable name. The recommendation remains ;-)

Basically a cozy atmosphere. As a starter I had the beer soup, which was unfortunately completely over salted. There was hardly any trace of the bacon that was supposed to be in it according to the menu. Nevertheless, the main course, Munich Schnitzel, was great. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. We had ordered drinks that didn't come, and we also had empty glasses visible at the table for a long time, but that wasn't seen. The service wasn't blessed with hospitality either. Even if there is a lot going on and the service staff is alone, I want good and friendly service at the prices. Therefore overall 3 stars due to service and oversalted starter. And easy compared to other locations in the same price range.

Travelling on your own for business isn't always a joy but this place was welcoming each time I went. The food menu variety is reasonable as are the prices. The food quality was excellent and arrived in a timely manner. The beer selection and prices were excellent. Definitely a place to go back to. 1

If you like Bavarian cuisine, you will love it here. We have eaten here many times and we have always been very satisfied, from the service to the food! Always happy and worth recommending.

The reception already foreshadowed great things: as soon as I set foot in the dining room, I was shouted at - why? Because I almost dared to use the wrong entrance. A real welcome feeling! Inside, the spectacle continued seamlessly: the waitress seemed to see her talent more in annoyed looks than in service, while the runners desperately tried to save the whole thing - respect to them, they deserved a friendlier companion. And the food? This is actually very good! Even if we sometimes received different dishes than we originally ordered. But waiting for over an hour. Of course the blame lies with the guest, after all we had the audacity to order an appetizer. “It would be quicker without a starter.” An important tip for future visitors: Be sure to mention when making your reservation that you would like to sit on the ground floor! Upstairs it feels like a fully occupied multi-purpose hall - loud, hectic and anything but comfortable. And who knows, maybe the service lady downstairs will be in a better mood?!

Haben Urlaub in Österreich gemacht und auf der Durchfahrt in Rosenheim kurz Halt gemacht zum Essen. Dieses Lokal gefunden mit schönem Biergarten, Sonntag Nachmittag noch Platz gekriegt ohne Reservierung. Bedienungen nett und schnell, Essen sehr gut und relativ preisgünstig. Wenn wir mal wieder in Rosenheim sind, gerne wieder.

I was there for lunch today on Easter Monday with my husband and grandma. The restaurant is decorated in a traditional Bavarian style. The menu definitely offers something for everyone. Vegetarians and vegans also have more than one dish to choose from here. The prices are right too. The portion sizes were reasonable and the dishes were very nicely prepared. We will definitely go back. Thumbs up 👍.

Food was tasty but quite small portions. The service was friendly and the restaurant is typically Bavarian and cozy, but the toilet is freezing cold and the water from the sink was also icy.

Germany never fails to impress. A few hours ago we were on the slopes in Austria shredding, and I thought that I was sad for leaving, but little did I know that Rosenheim with Flötzinger Beer House in it even beats skiing. The food was absolutely delicious, the beer selection wild, and the company simple magnificent. So yeah, will definitely be back:)

Ein sehr unfreundlicher Wirt (wenn er es war?!) Hatten einen Tisch reserviert und der Tisch war im 1. Stock. Wir fragten, ob wir nicht unten in die Gaststube gehen können. Antwort: Nein. Nachdem ich meinte, schade, da wäre ja Platz schrie er uns nach: "Wenns euch nicht passt könnt ihr ja gehen!" Das taten wir auch. Beim Höhensteiger war dann alles perfekt......

Cozy Bavarian restaurant with delicious food 👍

We were there unannounced on a Sunday lunchtime. It was well filled and there was still room for us. The food was very tasty and well prepared.

After a gruff 'only 1 person?' and 'Wait here' at the counter in front of the door, did the boss have to? Head waitress? first asked in the kitchen whether another single guest and I could sit down to eat in an almost empty dining room at 5 p.m. Then we were both led to a table. "It's okay if you sit together?" As a woman, it would have been the least I could have asked if I wanted to share a table with a stranger. We both said yes, ordered, and the beer and food came quickly. Unfortunately I was looking forward to a nice roast pork too early, it was tough, swimming in a lot of brown sauce, the bread dumpling was hard, the potato dumpling was tasteless, everything was just warm, not hot, with a tiny portion of coleslaw. The service was nice, the ambience would be better with different lighting. The strange gentleman was entertaining, so it was a nice evening. Because of the strangers at the table I didn't return the food, but it was of very poor quality.

Attentive service, extensive offerings and a lovely ambience

In the entrance hallway there is an abandoned counter where you are asked to wait. Nobody there, nobody notices us. We stand our ground. Finally we go inside. Instead of a greeting, we were warned that we should have waited at the counter. Keeping the customer waiting like a supplicant and also reprimanding them - that's a bad habit. This is the fourth time this has happened to us here.

Small but nice in the train station district of Rosenheim. Brewed products from our own house and hearty Bavarian dishes from the kitchen. Parking on the street is not easy, but the nearest Pakhaus is only 250m away. With the delicious beer you should come on foot anyway....

Nice service and suitable food for a brewery restaurant. The Schnitzel Wienart was really great if you like thin schnitzel. I was really excited. Unfortunately our place was only quite fresh. I suspect that the front door has often been left open.

Ich wollte telefonisch abklären wegen einer Reservierung für 20 Leute, im ersten Gespräch wurde ich gebeten zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nochmal anzurufen. Dies tat ich auch, da wurde einfach aufgelegt, erneutes Nachfragen wurde mit einer unfreundlichen Aussage beantwortet. Dieses Lokal wird mich nie wieder sehen.

The food was really good. We went on a busy evening. As a result, due to the noise in the room, the desire to have the uneaten food packed up was lost. That was a shame because we don't want to waste food. It can happen, but it was still great! :)

Fast, friendly service, very good food and a solid but not overly Bavarian atmosphere. Everything is very clean, the beer garden in summer under the old chestnut trees is great. Bavarian meat dishes, but also always 2 fish dishes and 2 veggie and 1 vegan dish. Fan shop items to buy. There's no need to say anything about the quality of the beer, it's not for nothing that this is a traditional brewery. Christmas Bock with 7% - not for beer beginners, but very drinkable!

A typical Bavarian economy, you feel comfortable there! The food was perfect - we had the Flötzinger Schnitzel - and the service was super nice. The price-performance ratio is right.👍 We will definitely eat there again the next time we are in Bavaria.

Preis- Leistung ist gut. Bier und Essen waren sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist schön, der Service war ok, allerdings nicht unbedingt freundlich zu Tieren. Wir hatten einen gut erzogenen Hund dabei, der leider scheinbar nicht so gerne gesehen war.

I basically confirm the review but frankly I no longer give 5 stars whose meaning is often misunderstood. Superlative atmosphere, excellent food, friendly staff. The beer is very good, I had a wiess but the choice is very wide. Also available 1 menu in Italian but my suggestion is to look at the dishes they bring to other tables.

Had a Christmas party with the darts team. Fast service, ambience was also very nice. And the food was very tasty. The waitress came to take the order and then the drinks came, shortly afterwards she came to take the order for the food and then the food came pretty quickly. Price performance was also very good. Always my pleasure.

A brewery as it should be. Cozy and a meeting place for young and old

For 1 night ok. Small but clean rooms. Enough towels available. Breakfast minimalist but good. Check in from 3 p.m., nobody was there before then. There is a club below, it was very very loud until 3am. Price/performance fits.

Good - Bavarian - delicious. Unfortunately there are a few restrictions on seating. If there are 6 of you it gets very tight in the upper hall. You're basically sitting on top of each other and have hardly any freedom of movement. It can also be very loud compared to the rooms in the hall. For larger groups (or fewer than 6 people) or for those who prefer a more sociable atmosphere, the hall is a good choice. But I definitely prefer the rooms upstairs or downstairs and definitely outside in the summer!! The team seemed very young and a bit uncoordinated - but hey! We can be happy about everyone who still wants to work in the catering industry these days! So a big thank you to the team!

Just like you want when you go out to eat and drink in a Bräustüberl in Bavaria. All expectations met, and in some cases even exceeded. The beer is fantastic and the apple kringles for dessert are a 10 out of 10!

We were here for dinner on October 12, 2024. There were 5 of us here and we all ordered something different and we all enjoyed it very much. The service was also very friendly, attentive and helpful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a cozy atmosphere. If I go on vacation to Rosenheim again, I'll be happy to come back.
