Hans, im Glück is okay, but somehow it's never been my first choice. The burgers are decent, but on my list of places in Berg, they're more of a mid-range spot.

"Hans im Glück" isn't my thing. Their giant hamburgers push your mouth to its limits. The fries are better at McDonald's.

Lovely atmosphere and great service; even pick-up is quick and easy. Highly recommended! I feel the last menu change was a downgrade, but it's still a treat! There's usually a table available even without a reservation, so you can spontaneously enjoy a good meal. Update: Always lovingly decorated, like here in winter 2025, see pictures ;)

The food was very good. Great selection! Prices were reasonable. I found the drinks a bit expensive, but that's the case everywhere these days. They did have some good specials, though! The service was very friendly and quick. I'd gladly come back and recommend it to others.

Profit above all else? Good food, actually friendly service – but when we asked for a glass of tap water for the children (after we had already ordered five regular drinks), the answer was: "Unfortunately, we don't have tap water." Do you wash your dishes with bottled water too?

The website states that the restaurant closes at 11 PM on Fridays. We arrived on Friday evening at 10 PM with six people for a drink, but were turned away. Unfortunately, we felt unwelcome and unwilling to be served. This doesn't reflect well on the restaurant; it's not how you gain customers, it's how you lose them. A real shame...

The food is average – not particularly inspired, but not bad either. I had a double burger with fries and coleslaw. The meat in the burger was overcooked, but the coleslaw was good – with sprouts and seeds. The sauces on the table were standard – for the price, I would expect homemade, special sauces. Drinks were okay. Service was good.

Everything's great. (Virgin) Grünschnabel is my new favorite drink. I ordered Mikk's Mixer for home delivery while on the train. I hope everything works out and we'll see each other again soon.

So drinks were brought promptly. We had to wait about an hour for the food, and when it arrived, it was only lukewarm to cold. The fries were no longer crispy, but very soft and slightly warm. The burger cheese had already hardened, and the burgers were almost cold.

We arrived at Hans im Glück in Rosenheim on a Sunday night and it was such a relief to find the restaurant still open. I ordered the Geselle Burger with fries, and it was really tasty. The next day, by coincidence, I ended up going there again with some friends. This time I had the Hans im Glück Burger with a side salad and a Paloma drink as part of the Abendmahl menu everything was delicious. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and overall it was a very positive experience. The only downside is that it’s a bit on the pricey side for a restaurant chain, but the quality definitely shows.

I love the food there, and it really always tastes the same. The staff is very friendly. Parking is so-so, but if you know your way around Rosenheim, you can simply park on Lorettowiese.

We were there on September 24th. All the service staff were super friendly. The food was delicious, too. We'd be happy to go back.

Whenever we travel and there's a Hans im Glück nearby, we always look forward to a visit. This was also the case in Rosenheim. The reservation went very smoothly. The food was of the usual high quality. Our service was very friendly and prompt. We didn't have to wait very long for our food. Once again, we spent a lovely evening at Hans im Glück.

5 Stars – Burgers & Happiness in Rosenheim Friday evening, no table reservation – not usually a good idea. But at Hans im Glück, we were doubly lucky and managed to get a spot on the spot. The burgers? Really good. The Smash Burger was juicy, slightly crispy, and cooked to perfection. The Billy Goat – with goat cheese, bacon, and fig jam – a flavor combination you don't get everywhere. And yes, it works brilliantly. The service was attentive and friendly, despite the full house. The atmosphere? Cozy, inviting, and exactly what you want for a relaxed evening with good food. The bottom line: If you're looking for good burgers in Rosenheim, you'll definitely find them here. We'll be back!

Everything was perfect :) a real treat

The service was first-class! Both in terms of friendliness and speed. The food was served quickly, even when the restaurant was already very busy. The ambiance with the birch trunks had a very calming and natural feel, inviting you to linger. The food was very good and served piping hot.

We found the restaurant via Google Maps. The food met our expectations exactly. The service was very friendly and attentive. We barely had to wait for our food. And the ambiance is always a matter of taste. I give it a full 5 stars.

The food was delicious and plentiful. The service left a lot to be desired. My sister surprised me when I was ordering (for my birthday). The waitress who served us first suddenly stopped paying attention to us. The dishes weren't cleared either. Despite balloons and a birthday song, there was no response. When transferring the money, the tip amount was available. This was very confusing in a hurry. I made a typo. When asked, the waiter only reluctantly gave back a portion. We are very disappointed!

We stopped here today for a spontaneous meal while passing through. We received a really friendly welcome and were served attentively with a touch of humor throughout our entire stay. The food was delicious and fresh. We had the hummus hero (unfortunately, the pink hummus was sold out) with avocado cream as an alternative. The fries were fresh and delicious. We each had a menu with a burger, a side dish, and a cocktail. A little highlight at the table is a QR code that allows you to view and pay for your ordered food and even leave a review.

Hans im Glück is always a bit cool... We really enjoy being there. The restaurant in Rosenheim is also excellent! A beautiful building with large windows... I recommend making a reservation. We didn't have one this time. But that can be a bit of a hassle... I really enjoyed it again...!

A few years ago, Hans im Glück was still a really top-notch burger restaurant, in my opinion. Now, the salads, like the "poultry" ones, are only half the size they used to be, and the burgers don't taste like what they used to. We've been there twice in a row, and both times the food was really just average, and the burgers were even served almost cold. Even the salad tasted totally bland. The staff at Hans im Glück used to ALWAYS be super friendly; they always put a lot of emphasis on that. The second time we were there yesterday, we were served by two unmotivated people, unfortunately. Conclusion: A shame – it used to be one of my favorite places for burgers. Now it's just below average, and we won't be eating there again anytime soon.

Before you head out, we recommend calling ahead to check whether there are any seats available – especially on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The restaurant makes a very positive overall impression. The ambiance is appealing, and the service is always friendly and attentive. We are regular guests here and really appreciate the atmosphere. One small criticism, however, concerns the burgers: They have often been served lukewarm recently. This may be due to a higher volume of guests, but it would be desirable for more attention to the serving temperature. We also noticed that the overall quality of the burgers has declined somewhat – both in terms of taste and the freshness of the ingredients. Nevertheless, we would be happy to return and give the overall experience 4 out of 5 stars. "Hans im Glück" remains a good address for a relaxed restaurant visit.

We were there today around 2 p.m., and in 32-degree heat we had to sit outside and sweat it off while we ate. I absolutely cannot understand why we aren't allowed to sit downstairs inside! There were hardly any customers there, which would have been no effort in organizing it. But what we found worst was the unfriendly male waitress. I received a rude answer to a question I asked at the beginning. When I came back from the restroom at the end and said thank you and goodbye, right next to him, there was simply no response from him. This kind of behavior was completely inappropriate. On top of that, they didn't have any hot drinks, which would have made a set menu price worthwhile.

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, we were in Rosenheim and by chance we ended up at Hans im Glück. The staff was really friendly, everyone (Popeye) especially the waiter. The place is small but perfectly adequate. My burger was really delicious (Hans im Glück Burger). The menu is designed like a fairytale book and beautifully presented. The price/performance ratio is excellent. I can highly recommend it.

A lovely restaurant belonging to a well-known chain (with around 100 branches) located in the heart of Rosenheim, yet quietly on a side street. At Hans im Glück, you can enjoy excellent burgers, including classic beef, chicken, and even vegan options. Those who don't like these will also find alternative bowls on the menu. The service staff was always friendly and usually quick. Questions were addressed and answered competently. The food was served hot and fresh after about 20 minutes. The incorrectly ordered "classic" fries were promptly replaced with sweet potato fries. Those who want to shorten the wait for their food can treat themselves to a delicious cocktail from the menu. Even those who just want a drink can spend their evening there in a very pleasant atmosphere. In the summer, you can sit on the benches and tables in front of Hans im Glück and enjoy your meal and/or a drink or two. It's particularly nice and cozy on warm evenings.

Typical Hans im Glück (a German restaurant) with delicious food, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. The prices are fair and the selection is large. The only thing that bothers me in every store is the display of ketchup, mayo, and other sauces. Actually, every menu has its own sauces, and I feel like there's a bit of an unnecessary need for them, since the bottles don't last very long. On the one hand, they could save resources, and on the other hand, if someone really wants an extra sauce, they can order it separately. I have to admit that I never use them, as it disgusts me a bit when they're left on the table all day. So it's better to get rid of them and save the environment and resources, and simply do without the two or three customers who complain.

One star deducted for the restroom facilities: the cosmetic bin and the partitions are made of steel, and they were covered in fingerprints, unfortunately creating a somewhat unkempt impression, even though the toilets and sinks were clean.

The new menu offers many new specialties alongside the familiar specialties. The cocktails are, as always, excellent.

Very friendly service, very tasty burgers

I must say that I really enjoyed dinner here. I love the choice in burgers, everyone will find something for themselves - vegans, vegetarians, beef lovers, and chicken lovers. I chose burger with chicken, raiberdatschi, and champignons, and I really liked it. Big plus for sourdough buns! Pommes were also really good - not too salty, and slightly crispy. I should not forget about the selection of alcohol free cocktails, as it is really enormous and both I tried were delicious. All in all, this is not a perfect spot and it’s not like I would be a regular now, but when you crave a decent burger or you don’t want to end up just in McDonals, this restaurant is a great choice. I recommend stopping by. :)

Came here alone after wandering aimlessly around the city center. I was immediately seated by friendly staff, offered a menu in English and settled in on the rustic outdoor dining area. Food (double smash burger) and local beer was great value for the price without any long waiting times. Highly recommend!
