Tante Förster in Fürth

Zum Essen können wir leider gar nichts sagen. der Service war so unterirdisch, dass ŵir nicht mal zur Bestellung kamen. Der Innenraum war leer, im Außenbereich etwa 2/3 der Tische besetzt, unserer Auffassung nach mindestens 4 Personen im Service, für augenscheinlich wenig Gäste. Getränkebestellung wurde zwar nach Zuruf aufgenommen. dann wurden wir von ALLEN Servicekräften ignoriert, trotz winken. Nach 45 Minuten Ignoranz (Nicht mal die Getränke haben wir bekommen!) sind wir gegangen. Im Übrigen hat der Nachbartisch auch fast 30 Minuten gewartet, bis die ursprüngliche Bestellung korrekt gebracht wurde. Obwohl das Essen an den anderen Tischen gut aussah (und auch da gabs ganz offensichtlich probleme) gänzlich mieses Karma😣

Leckeres Essen, super Service Einfach genial

Unfreundliche, langsame Bedienung, wegen jeder Kleinigkeit mussten wir dreimal nachfragen....als wir nach der Rechnung gefragt haben, antwortete die Kellnerin "sie bringt sie uns...bei Gelegenheit"..eine Frechheit!

Spontan nach dem Freibadbesuch kamen wir hierher. Es war ruhig und so gut wie nichts los. Wir waren zur Mittagszeit dort. Es war klimatisiert was uns nach innen gezogen hat. Wir wurden sofort bedient. Die Bedienung ist richtig freundlich und cool drauf. Sie hat sich auch etwas mit uns Unterhalten. Das Chicken Sandwich was wir bestellt hatten hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Die Pink Grapefruit Schorle war auch richtig erfrischend und gut. Es war schön hier zu essen und kommen gerne wieder

Gemütliches kleines Café mit Nachhaltigkeitskonzept (frei von pLASTik) und einer schönen Auswahl leckeren Essens, hausgemachter Limos, kühler Biere und weiterer Getränke. Uriges Ambiente. Netter Service.

Super essen, sehr nette Bedienung

Nette Location in außen zu sitzen, wenn man Fürth ist

Ein wirklich interessanter Ort in der Altstadt mit einer einzigartigen Speisekarte und einer guten Getränkeauswahl. Es gab zahlreiche Sitzplätze im Freien, und ein DJ sorgte für Musik – ein rundum gelungener Nachmittag mit Drinks und Musik.

Alt eingesessene Gastronomie im Alten Stiel, wie aus den 80'ern. Man kann hier viele schöne Stunden über den Rag verbringen, angefangen mit Frühstück bistum Cocktails am Abend. Bei schönem Wetter im Außenbereich. Das Tante Förster kannte Beginn einer langen Nacht werden, wenn im Anschluss die Kneipenmeile fortgeführt wird.

Das Preisniveau stimmt nicht mit der Qualität überein. Ich habe 35 EUR für ein Hauptgericht mit Beilage und einem Getränk bezahlt und bin gerade so satt geworden. Der Spargel war zerkocht. Service und Küche recht schnell. Ich würde dort nicht aber nicht noch einmal essen gehen.

Zum Störche beobachten bester Ort!

Wir waren gestern zum 1. Mal dort und sind leider etwas enttäuscht. Das Lokal ist schön eingerichtet und wir haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Die Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Speisen ist super! Der Service hat gestern leider sehr zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Wir standen erst etwas verloren im Lokal, da unser reservierter Tisch noch besetzt war. Als wir dann saßen, haben wir kurz darauf gleich Essen und Getränke bestellt. Die Getränke kamen bald und waren auch gut. Auf unser Essen mussten wir 90! Minuten warten. In dieser Zeit kam niemand zu unserem Tisch, um nochmal nach Getränken zu fragen oder uns zu informieren, dass es etwas länger dauert. Wir hatten das Gefühl unser Essen wurde vergessen und haben nachgefragt, da einige Leute, die weit nach uns kamen, bereits ihr Essen bekommen hatten. Der Mitarbeiter fragte wohl wirklich in der Küche nach, kam aber nicht wieder zu uns, um uns eine Info zu geben. Ca. 10 Minuten danach haben wir dann endlich unser Essen bekommen, was auch sehr lecker war. Aber keine Entschuldigung außer "sorry es ist viel los heute". Daher bleibt der Besuch nicht so positiv in Erinnerung wie wir es anhand der tollen Bewertungen erwartet hatten.

Haben am Wochenende noch den letzten Platz ergattert🙃 also man sollte lieber vorher reservieren.. wir hatten Käsespätzle vegetarisch und einmal mit Fleisch bestellt dazu eine Saft Schorle +Bier. Das Essen war lecker aber für den Preis leider viel zu wenig.

Freundliche und kompetente Bedienung

Zwei von 3 essen waren sehr gut, Sandwich und Vröstl, meine spätzle mit rahmchampignons war etwas salzig. Curly Fries als beilage waren ok, aber vom Preis dafür eher hoch. Ambiente war grundsätzlich schön, gemütlich und nett, nur war der Fenster Tisch für 3 Leute etwas eng. Der Service ist dafür noch ausbaufähig. Beide Bedienungen waren recht jung und hätten beide aufmerksamer sein können. Wir wurden zb nicht gefragt, ob noch jemand was trinken möchte und mussten 15 Minuten warten, bis wir bescheid sagen konnten, dass wir gerne zahlen möchten. Beim letzten Besuch vor ca 1 Jahr wars gefühlt besser, die veganen Käsespätzle waren super.

Nette Gaststätte rustikalen Ambiente, sehr viele Eventangebote für Brunch, Frühstück etc. Freundlicher Service, angenehme Preise. Sehr gute und ruhige Lage in der Nähe zur Stadthalle.

Gutes Essen, freundlicher Service.

Zum ersten Mal war ich hier spontan zum Abendessen, es war wirklich sehr lecker und die Auswahl ist groß. Das Ambiente ist angenehm und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Frühstück hingegen hat uns sehr enttäuscht. Preislich deutlich zu hoch für das, was geboten wird. Der Americano war sehr wässrig. Zudem hat unsere Reservierung über Instagram nicht funktioniert und es ist nicht vorauszusehen ob man Brunch bekommt oder nicht. Abends komme ich sicher wieder aber zum frühstücken nicht empfehlenswert.

Heute waren wir zu dritt im Tante Förster, Ich hatte einen Salat und die beiden anderen hatten ein Sandwich, Curly Fries und verschiedene Getränke. Das Preisniveau ist für meinen Geschmack zu sehr ausgereizt, es gibt nicht mal ein kleines Bier für unter vier Euro und auch der Salat war eher mit wenig Inhalt, das Dressing war mir zu süß und etwas zu trocken. Also insgesamt ist das Ambiente schön, hier und da etwas overdone, die Bedienung ist nett, nicht jedem gefällt es, dass man gleich geduzt wird. Für mich war das okay. Insgesamt ein typisches Fürther Lokal, wird aber nicht mein Stammlokal.

Leider stehen die Tische sehr eng, so dass die allgemeine Lautstärke recht extrem ist. Kneipe halt.

Tolle Bedienung, besonders die mit den halblangen schwarzen Haaren! (am 17.01.26) Service ist sehr gut und jeder Wunsch wird von den Lippen abgelesen. Die Getränke waren super lecker Komme gerne wieder, 10/10!

Super Leute, super lecker, super super.

Wir waren am Montag brunchen und sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt… Die Bedienung (halblange schwarze Haare) war unglaublich unverschämt und unaufmerksam( sie kam erst nach 20 min zum bestellen und während unserem 2 h Aufenthalt erst wieder beim bezahlen, trotz des mehrmaligen Rufens und bitten nach dem Service)… Die Hauptspeisen waren echt lecker aber der Nachtisch (Matcha- Tiramisu) leider garnicht gut… Sie war total patzig und wir haben uns echt unwohl gefühlt (ich arbeite selber in der Gastro und habe auch Verständnis wenn viel los ist) jeder hat mal einen schlechten Tag aber wenn sich mehrere Gäste unwohl fühlen, ist das echt schade…

Super netter Service. Essen wie immer sehr lecker. Auch meine Fellnasen waren herzlich willkommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bierauswahl ist gut, die Speisekarte bietet viel vegetarisches. Meine letzte Kombi mit veg. Speckersatz war aber gewöhnungsbedürftig - ich hätte dann eher gleich Klos mit Soß gegessen und das merkwürdige ersatzprodukt ganz weggelassen. Die Soße war aber auch nur Pulverzeugs - naja, fleischlos bekommt man eben nur fast gut hin...

Small restaurant with a large selection of food and drinks. The beer garden is located right next to the beautiful Green Market (several storks' nests can be observed from March onwards). Very friendly service, rustic atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is also delicious.

From the outside, the restaurant makes a cozy impression thanks to its beautiful half-timbered house, and the interior also blends in nicely. Unfortunately, that's where the positive aspects of our visit end – it all went downhill from there! But let's start from the beginning... Service staff: We (a group of four) were completely ignored for almost five minutes while standing in the middle of the restaurant. Since we had a reservation and there was only one table available, we went there and, after seeing the "Reserved" sign with our names on it, sat down. Instead of a friendly inquiry as to whether we were indeed the guests or a reminder about the "Reserved" sign, we were rather rudely told that the table was reserved. When we explained that WE had a reservation, there was no apology – instead, the server simply walked away. After another eight to ten minutes, we were asked about drinks – unfortunately, the server didn't know the drinks on their menu, which was only available as a QR code. During the rest of our visit, the three women there seemed completely overwhelmed! Location: The charm of the exterior was barely noticeable inside. It was cramped, loud, and the service barely deserved a "passable" rating. The (men's) restrooms were filthy and gave the impression of being in a St. Pauli nightclub rather than a restaurant! No toilet seat, urine spilled over the toilet and floor, empty glasses, no paper towels, and the toilet paper was left unhygienically on the windowsill! (Picture 1) Food: While the food looked appealing, the taste was a complete disappointment! The salad in the bowl was a mix of different dressings made with lettuce, celery, carrot, and red cabbage (none of which were particularly appealing). We got home with stomach aches and, unfortunately, a very restless night with multiple trips to the bathroom! As a trained hotel manager with over 10 years of experience and a passion for good food, this visit was a disastrous experience in every respect! The fact that one of the waitresses (allegedly a temporary worker) had a small dog with her, which she took outside during her smoking breaks and then carried behind the same door from which the food was brought, did not exactly inspire confidence in the establishment! The trend of offering menus digitally via QR code instead of printed ones is not only challenging given the poor lighting, but also very inconvenient for older guests who don't have their phones with them 24/7! Finally, it should be mentioned that the menu alone contains at least 15!!! errors (see pictures 2-6) in terms of structure and grammar – giving the impression that it was written by a child rather than a trained restaurateur! The prices listed are in no way justifiable, and therefore – putting aside the recent upset stomach – we do NOT recommend visiting this place! The gap between expectations and reality is quite significant!

Delicious breakfast buffet with a wide selection and a waffle iron for making your own. I would have preferred the waffle with an egg. Everything else was very good.

Breakfast isn't worth the money, certainly not €20 per person, excluding coffee. But what's really annoying is that you can't just order a small, decent breakfast; I don't like buffets. The coffee was nothing special, very weak.

Sunday brunch with 11 people, lovely ambiance, plenty of food, and a wide selection, as befits a brunch. Highly recommended! €20 including non-alcoholic drinks.

As always, delicious, good beer, everything fits

The ambiance, the outdoor area, and the waitress were wonderful. Unfortunately, my cheese spaetzle were somewhat "stiff" and very crispy, almost over-baked. But at least they weren't oozing with liquid, like so many restaurants unfortunately. If there had been a salt shaker at the table, I might have been able to manage it; it was a bit bland. Perhaps I happened upon the restaurant at the wrong time. Oh yes, even if it's fancy and you can argue about environmental protection and resource conservation: this nonsense with QR codes and reading menus on your phone is simply unacceptable. Especially when the PDF isn't optimized for a phone display.

Simply fantastic, totally cozy, super delicious food and always friendly service.

Great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Weekly specials change depending on the season. We love "die Tante" and enjoy coming back again and again. Plus, the outdoor area has the most sunshine 🌞

Unfortunately, our first visit left us (all three of us) with stomach aches due to the excessive amount of oil in our food. Our food was practically swimming in oil, even though there was less on the plate. However, since we'd only heard good things about Tante Förster, we gave it another try. And lo and behold, it was good. I had the Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes). It was delicious, combined with the apple sauce and powdered sugar. The staff was always courteous and friendly.

Actually, it's not worth a star at all. The operator apparently doesn't need to make money.

The service staff there are truly amazing. First we were ignored for 20 minutes, then someone came over and told us to sit inside because otherwise the restaurant would get into trouble with the public order office. That wasn't a problem, but then we were ignored again inside. When we ordered drinks, we were given a small glass that cost just under €10 and seemed to have nothing in it. When we wanted to pay, all the service staff were gathered outside. When I went over and asked for the bill again, one of them just said, "Right away," and calmly lit a cigarette. Fine. I don't know what kind of staff they are, but they should probably think again about their selection.

Great location – unfortunately, the proud server today had to claim that I 'definitely' hadn't ordered oat milk for my cappuccino. This narrow-minded certainty is out of place in the restaurant industry – even if the customer might not have ordered it (which I certainly did ;). No offer of a replacement or discount. Last time – what a shame.

Very friendly staff, very tasty food (also unusual and many vegan options) and extremely delicious cocktails... When we are in Fürth again we will go there again 👍🏻☺️

Nice bar feeling with good outdoor area.

Six of us were there for Sunday brunch on Mother's Day, and we were all thrilled. There were many different homemade dips, cream cheeses, and butters (e.g., wild garlic butter, tomato butter, date curry dip, cinnamon butter, etc.), homemade jams, and lots of fresh vegetables. A very special and varied breakfast with fresh produce; we'll definitely be back.

This review is for the Green Sushi, which can be pre-ordered and picked up on Fridays: The vegan sushi is made without any meat imitations, using fresh, natural ingredients. It not only looks amazing and diverse, it tastes amazing too! It was truly incredibly delicious and something truly special! So many different creations! There was even a small dessert included. The box for 2-3 people was plenty for two people; I don't know if I would share it with a third person 😂 Huge praise to the creators of the combinations and the artists who presented it so beautifully!

Breakfast on a Sunday 05/2025, cost €19.90 including water or orange juice in a 0.05 glass and when water or juice is refilled... (minus point). Waffles to make yourself, if the iron or the dough would do what it's supposed to. Rolls, scrambled eggs... when refilled. Plates, cutlery...make sure you get something. The selection is general, very manageable, labeling should be better, tongs and spoons are not there or not where they belong (no one notices). What does the store do when it's full inside and outside? For 20 euros I can definitely expect more, it's a shame, with a little more overview, ideas and selection you can hardly do anything wrong, maybe reconsider a few criticisms...

I was leading an American tour group through Fürth today and at the historic market square a few senior women wanted to rest briefly at free tables outside and I politely asked the two young ladies/servers. I and another guest wanted to order drinks, then we were insulted in such an unfriendly manner by the two servers that I felt embarrassed for our guests. We then all ordered drinks and snacks so we could sit there for a moment. I know and visit almost every location in Fürth as a tour guide, but I have never been treated so unfriendly anywhere. I've never experienced anything like this anywhere, I'll avoid this location in the future and definitely won't recommend it! Unfortunately, service has become a foreign word for most people in the catering industry :(

Habe eine amerikanische Reisegruppe durch Fürth geführt und am Historischem Marktplatz, wollten sich ein paar Seniorinnen kurz an freien Tischen außen ausruhen u ich fragte kurz höflich die Bedienungen. Ich u noch ein Gast wollten Getränke bestellen, dann wurden wir dermaßen unfreundlich von den 2 Bedienungen beschimpft, dass ich mich für unsere Gäste fremd geschämt habe. Wir haben dann alle Getränke & Snacks bestellt damit wir kurz dort sitzen konnten. Ich kenne u besuche fast jede Location in Fürth als Gästeführerin aber soo unfreundlich wurde ich noch nirgends empfangen. Soetwas habe ich noch nirgends erlebt, werde diese Location zukünftig meiden u keinesfalls mehr weiter empfehlen!

A very cool restaurant where we were served in a very friendly manner! The homemade lemonades tasted great and our food was delicious too! Our kids also loved the foosball table!

First of all: clear recommendation! You can eat well here. Above all, there are great dishes for both vegetarians and meat lovers. Unfortunately, my dessert (chocolate banana cake in a glass) was too dry and not enough “bananay”. But swim over it. We'll be back.

The staff was friendly and quick. However, the fried potatoes were soaked and not fresh, let alone crisp. Toilet: three exclamation marks on a sign stating that the light would come on automatically - but the light doesn't comply. You would have to step into the pitch dark, not seeing whether there are any stairs, if there are 5 meters ahead or 1, a real "black box". I went elsewhere then.

We were there for Sunday brunch and definitely can't recommend it. Something was always empty (e.g. orange juice, butter...) and was only refilled very slowly and upon request. In addition, the selection was very limited compared to other offers. The rolls tasted like baked rolls from the discount store. The whole service seems rather unprofessional and inexperienced. The dining room is crammed full and offers hardly any space for the buffet. All of this is simply not compatible with a price of just under €20 (coffee and everything except OJ and water are extra, of course). We were disappointed and won't be coming back.

We went there today for breakfast with my in-laws. €19.90 per person. The selection was unfortunately quite meager. Sausage and cheese from the discount store and limited choice, a few of the drinks were quickly finished, as were the "pre-baked" rolls. It took a while to refill everything. No regular eggs, just watery scrambled eggs. Fruit cut and squashed into a large bowl would have been nice. Perhaps a little more fresh salad or two or three types of bread to choose from would have been nice. Unfortunately, we hadn't clearly realized or read that on Sundays there is ONLY the buffet to choose from until 12 PM and you can't order from the menu. It only says "breakfast buffet every Sunday" on Instagram and on the website, but unfortunately doesn't say that you can't have anything else. All in all, €110 for nothing... We definitely won't go there again... I'd rather go somewhere else or go to the Bohne. Overall, though, a nice atmosphere and good service.

We have eaten here several times and all the dishes so far have been very good. Except for Saturday evening, we always found all the service staff to be very friendly. But that evening we were treated like little children. We found this extremely strange. Otherwise I can only recommend the Tante Förster. Cozy and easy to reach by public transport.

Aunt Förster is a real insider tip! Delicious food, great service and a great atmosphere. The food at Aunt Förster's is a dream! The pulled pork sandwich is particularly amazing.

We came here completely by accident... luckily. Great atmosphere, you can talk and laugh with the locals :-) Impeccable service. We ate tasty sandwiches, but we liked the local beer much better. We will also drink many beers from the Furth area. Way to go !

We found it by accident, late in the evening, the kitchen was actually closed, but we got delicious sandwiches. 5 stars for the atmosphere and great beer!

Here you have to beg for change now. Food: It's very nice that there are purely plant-based dishes on offer. It was ok (cheese spaetzle). Hummus with meat substitute wasn't worth the money for me. Operation: Menu didn't come for ages. I understand because it was full. The fact that I didn't want a drink was met with a strange, disbelieving look. Maybe just my imagination. Incorrect amount given when paying. I looked at the board behind me and indicated that there was a different price there. “I told you so.” was the answer. My companion can confirm that a higher price was initially requested. 20 euro note and the appropriate amount of cents were given, including copper coins. Copper coins were returned because they cannot be accepted. I understand. However, the remaining coins were kept and the note too. It's really sad that you have to beg for your change now. I don't understand how anyone would think I would tip after such poor service. I also indicated with my coins that I wanted smooth change. Isn't that obvious? Why should I tip coins instead of rounding up? Never seen it before. In my case, I simply didn't say anything and gave an unintentional tip. Place: Unfortunately, I was constantly disturbed by smoke while I was eating. Unfortunately there were no more seats inside. I understand that. However, I'm not willing to put up with holding my nose and/or coughing constantly. You can't enjoy your own food like this.

Very nice restaurant in the heart of Fürth. We were able to enjoy a very delicious breakfast, but we would also like to come back again in the evening.

I don't know, it's probably just me, but I found it too tight! The breakfast buffet was served on the counter and the people sitting at the windows constantly had people behind them squeezing through. I found the waffle iron and the sometimes desperate attempts to make a “proper” waffle funny. Sorry for my gleeful permanent grin. The staff were super nice and did their best to manage the really full guest room, always with a friendly smile! A big thank you for that

Great menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan choices and nice staff. It was just very cold when we visited and we had to keep our jackets on, which was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise definitely recommended

We had breakfast at Tante Förster today. Cozy atmosphere (rather dark), delicious food and personal service, it was great!! 👍🏼 We had: Breakfast Waldschrat & pancakes 🥞 with egg 🍳 + bacon 🥓 Absolutely delicious and recommended!

We were “forced” to stop by a downpour. As it turned out, that was lucky for us. Such nice staff, a great atmosphere and because of the games they have there, we sat for a lot longer than we thought. We really liked it.

We were there before football. Three halves, a delicious (vegan) meal and then 3 points. What more do you want.

Nice restaurant with outdoor seating is in front of it. The service is friendly and polite. The taste is good, but the portions of the pans are too small for the money you pay and therefore unfortunately too expensive in my opinion. Or maybe it's intended more as a pub with a bit of food. We were there for dinner, which perhaps wasn't quite right. I can therefore neither recommend nor not recommend it.

Very nice atmosphere and the selection of drinks is very good. The staff was friendly and the prices are ok.

We were only there for drinks. Reasonably friendly service and drinks OK, but like almost everywhere, too much too expensive!

Food always delicious. Large selection of regional drinks too. Stands out from the otherwise rather conservative pubs in Fürth.
