I filled up there, and it was really busy. It's probably because it's close to the border; a lot of people buy their Austrian tax stickers there, and so on. I was still able to get a pump quickly, though; the sales area was busy. Mass processing wasn't particularly friendly, but not unfriendly either.

A very convenient gas station on the highway, easy to access and well-maintained. The pumps work perfectly, the staff is friendly, and the restrooms are clean, which is rare and appreciated on the road. A little extra: the shop offers snacks and coffee before getting back on the road. A pleasant and efficient break during a long journey.

The prices are too high, and the toilets are dirty. Not a pleasant experience.

Unfortunately, 2 stars minus! One is because the dryer in the bathroom doesn't work, the other is because that's not what I asked for and it's so expensive! Anyway, the service at the gas station is perfect, bathroom 3€+1€ why do you get in! Relatively large truck parking lot, it fills up quickly after 5pm! Apart from those two bad things, I can only recommend it! Anyway, the prices are the usual German prices, the portions in the restaurant are not the usual! Only the chef understands English!

Quite a large parking lot in front of the Austrian border. Basically, everything has already been written, only a small correction, the channel, as one colleague called it, flowing nearby is the largest European river Danube) It's just that in this place it is not as huge as in the lower reaches)

I wanted a pretzel for €2.69. They tried to charge me €3.99. I pointed this out to the young lady. I was corrected, but I had the feeling it was done intentionally. The best part is, I was told to "get the pretzel yourself." Unfortunately, that's not possible because the pretzels are behind the cash register...

On my way back from vacation, I stopped at the gas station and got a coffee, parked, and enjoyed it. The rest stop was very clean at the time; I highly recommend a quick stop here.

Really hot toilet first shit a load

The blonde waitress with black glasses at the cash register was very nice and friendly. Good service, thank you. I got along well and was very satisfied! Delicious crispy fries box with chicken.

Completely overwhelmed during the holiday season. It was crowded and hot, and everyone was pretty distracted. Unfortunately, there's no covered parking.

I visited this rest stop with my husband today, and we were pleasantly surprised! Despite the busy holiday season, everything was very clean, both the dining room and the restrooms. My breakfast (see picture) was fresh and delicious; the croissant and puff pastry were crispy, and the cappuccino was wonderfully creamy. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, even under pressure. I absolutely don't understand the negative reviews about unfriendly staff. I received courteous service and had a very pleasant experience. A definite recommendation for anyone passing through who wants to take a pleasant break. 👌

Well, okay for a rest stop, but nothing more. At the gas station, there were incredibly long lines because of the sale of electronic toll tickets, which block everything when you simply want to pay. In the restaurant, the selection was very limited, which didn't encourage you to linger. Long lines at the checkout because everyone wanted to redeem their receipt from the restroom for something. The icing on the cake was that one of the machines at the restroom didn't print the QR code correctly. That's not a big deal, but it's definitely annoying when there are five people, especially when the comment is at the cashier that they can't help, it just doesn't work, even though they're the receipts they issued themselves.

Everything you would expect but very expensive…

A replacement toll from ASFINAG for €120.00 was received. It was assumed that I didn't have a valid vignette when driving on Austrian motorways on June 23, 2025. After investigating with ASFINAG, I was informed that the vignette was only incorrectly stamped by the gas station employee on June 24, 2025. The gas station is not willing to offer any goodwill solution; they didn't even reimburse me for the €12.40 vignette (despite the receipt). If you make a mistake, you should own up to it.

Hello, I cannot agree with the previous reviews. Wi-Fi works. You can of course get water on request. It goes without saying that a service station of this size does not simply give out several hectolitres of water to each of the tens of thousands of people. The food is impeccable, motorway standard but absolutely and the quality is of a very high level. The toilets are also top-notch considering that everyone is on holiday and all these masses are going to the toilet. In the past, before sanifair existed, it was really bad! I have personally known the facility for a very long time and know that up until a year ago it was treated more than just stepmotherly by other operators. Something is constantly being done here! Incredibly, I have now noticed once again that even the management is on site, apparently constantly and permanently. Basically, you should be able to address problems on site without simply giving an implausible review without any feedback on site and without any context.

Toilet not clean. Toilet lady laughing and shaking her head at us trying to pay the sanifair. Then she is outside picking through the trash for bottles. Minimal German spoken. Interior design is quite outdated. Not a great place all in all. A lot of trash in the parking area

A very pleasant stop on our way to Croatia. Despite the immense crowds, we received prompt and friendly service. We'll be happy to stop here again in the future.

What can I say? The Germans are always stingy, not even a water tap for the drivers, considering that we pay for the highway and even the national roads in Germany.

The wrong license plate number was entered on the vignette. Therefore, I had to buy a new one in Slovenia.

A pump with a large parking lot for trucks, but the pump managers deny the truck drivers access to water for basic needs. Very rude and inhumane attitude towards the truck drivers.

A typical German parking lot. By evening all the spaces are taken. Toilet 1 euro, shower 3 euro plus 1 for entry. Only 1 cabin.

Overpriced. This is just a way to line your pockets. If possible, get off the highway and fill up for 60 cents less per liter...

We stopped for gas and a snack. We brought our own food, though, which we ate on a bench and table in the parking lot. The parking lot was very clean. The restrooms were very clean (women's).

We actually wanted to go to the North Sea, which the internet said was open. But it was closed. When we arrived, the employees were reprimanded for apparently not doing their jobs properly. This was reflected in the food, too. The fried potatoes tasted of old grease, and the currywurst was abysmally awful. Never again.

We stopped at Donautal West while traveling with our family and were pleasantly surprised. The rest area is clean, tidy, and offers plenty of space – even for larger family cars or camper vans. The restrooms were in good condition and cleaned regularly. We particularly enjoyed the quiet, green surroundings. Our children were able to get some exercise after the car ride, and there's even a small patch of grass where you can have a picnic or take a break. The proximity to the Danube River gives the whole place a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. All in all, a family-friendly rest area that's not only functional but also pleasantly quiet. We would stop here again anytime!

Hello, I drive to this rest stop a few times a year to buy the necessary vignettes, and I have to say, "hats off!" Where previously there were only irritated staff and dirty restrooms and outdoor areas, the last few times I've been there, I've only been served very friendly at the gas station. Afterwards, I got a currywurst with fries for €6.99 (I think that's super cheap for a rest stop). As I said, a real change from the old days. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. We didn't visit the rest stop. What annoyed us was that it's an Asfinag dealer, but they couldn't sell us a GoBox because there wasn't an employee there who knew how to use it.

Today I found the toilets completely filthy. It's just disgusting.

Only 2 of the 4 men's restrooms were in use, and their condition was not very inviting. The staff member's response was a shrug. Sanifair is simply a disgrace.

A good large, bright and quiet parking lot for showers: 5 euros and another euro to enter through the turnstile on Monday at 20:00 there were still places. There is nowhere to get water, there is a large Vodokanal nearby, you can walk, a beautiful view.

Everything is good inside, delicious cappucino. Interior looks good. Toilets fresh. The outdoor terrace could use an update, the windshield frames are almost rotten and the chairs could also use replacing.

The worst Servays toilet I have experienced. No paper, neither for the toilet nor for the hands, toilets partly dirty or locked. I'm happy to pay for a clean facility, but it wasn't worth the euro.

The toilets are a disgrace that is second to none. Nice to collect the euros, and then that. See photos! By the way, there were Sanifair toilets. Cappuccino very good. Service friendly. Unfortunately the men's toilets were quite dirty. A urinal filled with paper, the floor covered in pee and a urinal broken, dirty with urine and defective. No sign posted there saying it was defective. Too bad. You have to pay 1 euro for this.
