I was thrilled with Tanivera Pizzeria in Ulm! 🍕 The food is simply fantastic – the pizzas are baked to perfection, with fresh ingredients and a super crispy crust. Lasagna 👌👌👌 Seafood 👌👌👌 The taste is authentically Italian, and you can tell that they cook with love. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended for all pizza lovers in Ulm! 🇮🇹👏

I have no complains about the food and the location, it was great for me. 4star ratings for each category. But the one thing I don't like about (Service category) is there was this female server or waitress that lied to us. When she approached our table to ask for our order, she said that ordering Pizza was already closed and the next hour to order it was at 1800 (6pm). We were there to try your Pizza but disappointed. So we ended up ordering other food from menu. Then after we ate, we paid and as we are about to leave, this waitress came out from the kitchen with Pizza in her hand to serve to another customer who just came in (15mins before we decided to leave your Restaurant) and ordered. I don't know what was her deal and I had hoped that the reason she lied to us was NOT because we're Asians. It's disappointing. I've heard good reviews about your place but being treated like that, I don't think I can recommend your Restaurant to my friends.

We just had dinner at Tanivera and it was just perfect, the food was great and atmosphere was also very pleasant. Our waiter went out of his way to make our dinner special with a great seat by the water.

Two colleagues recommended me the place because is located right next to the river but it was unfortunately a big disappointment. We ordered two types of pasta and one was a carbonara. The carbonara had NO FLAVOR and came with a WHITE sauce. Literally there was no eggs, cheese nor bacon (it was pieces of other meat that had no flavor) so we had to add a lot of salt and pepper to have some kind of flavor. Unfortunately I don’t recommend this place if you want pasta, maybe for pizza is different?

The food was okay. Staff was clearly understaffed, and employees only had a few seconds to take orders and other requests.

The food is pleasantly average. The tables are very small, and you sit close together in the aisle... But the biggest problem for us is that the kitchen can't bring out pasta dishes and pizzas at the same time. We have to eat one after the other. That's ridiculous!

We had reserved an outdoor table online on a warm late summer evening. When we arrived, we were offered a small table in the far corner of the completely overheated, stuffy interior (>30°C). Our request for a seat on the terrace—even at a later time—was brusquely and categorically refused. We have rarely experienced such unfriendly and dismissive service.

We spent a single day in Ulm and wanted to go to a good Italian restaurant – this was the perfect place! The food was truly excellent, incredibly fast, and the service was great. The location is fantastic, with outdoor seating right in the Fischerviertel on the waterfront, and two terraces. Highly recommended!

We were very disappointed. Unfortunately, the food was not tasty at all, and the quality was subpar. The server was unfriendly and barely listened. Instead of a glass of water, we were immediately served a 0.75-liter bottle – even though we had ordered something else. Overall, an unpleasant experience; we won't be back.

The restaurant is located by a beautiful stream, although not all outdoor tables can "enjoy" it. On the other hand, the sound of the water can be a bit distracting, so you can simply sit a little further away. The service is excellent; the staff was very friendly despite the large number of guests. The food is truly excellent! I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. Vegetarians also have plenty of options, especially the pizza menu.

I'd rate the food more at 3.5 stars. For me, it lacked a bit of oomph. The atmosphere, by the flowing water, is spectacular.

We were there in December 2024 after the Christmas market. The hut was full; we had a reservation. We didn't have to wait too long for food and drinks. Everyone was very friendly and nice. I'd love to come back sometime; I'm curious to see what it's like in the summer.

The restaurant is beautifully situated. But that's the only thing that's outstanding about it. The waiters are taciturn, the food is run-of-the-mill, and why can you only make reservations inside? In the height of summer, that doesn't make sense. It's far too warm and stuffy inside. Then there's no need to make a reservation. It's a strange concept. There are better places in Ulm.

Great restaurant. I had a mango-lime lemonade and a chicken salad. The salad was great. The meat was cooked through, there was enough (not too much) dressing, and there was also bread. Unfortunately, it was too expensive. I paid €15.90. I thought €13 was a reasonable maximum. The lemonade could have used more flavor, in my opinion. It was too bland. Not a proper lemonade. That doesn't mean they should load it with sugar. In general, I highly recommend a visit. There's apparently a back side with a view of the river. But I can't confirm that because I didn't bother to check.

The ambiance right on the water was beautiful! Really cozy and comfortable! We had the bruschetta as a starter, which was truly delicious. For the main course, my husband chose the Milanese salad and I chose the Tavanera salad. Both were delicious (if you like yogurt dressing) and, above all, very large and definitely sufficient as a main course. For me, it had too many onions on it, but that's a matter of taste. The server was semi-friendly and not particularly talkative, but he did his job well. In conclusion, we can say the value for money is really good. The location is top-notch, the wine is good, and the ambiance is nice. We would come again.

A beautiful and cozy restaurant right on the Blau River. The river flowing directly past gives the restaurant a very special flair, as you can dine on the terrace and balcony right by the water. The quality of the food is very good, and the quantity is absolutely sufficient. The prices are reasonable.

Great atmosphere right on the water, very friendly staff, and fast service. The pizza was okay, but the seasonal specials menu was very disappointing: the leaf salad with fresh crudo ham for €14. I looked in vain for the leaf salad on my plate. Instead, I got some cheap salad that tasted of nothing. The ham, okay, but the one at Aldi is much better. So, all in all, not worth €14, sorry. The complaint was noted, but unfortunately, nothing more.

Not even worth a star. Service was terrible, and the staff were very unfriendly. You weren't even assigned a seat and had to find it yourself. You waited over an hour, and then the food was served cold. When asked if there was anything they could do as a courtesy, the answer was no. The manager said no. So he doesn't care whether you're dissatisfied or not. Very rude and disrespectful. On top of that, everything is very expensive; a salad for €17 is barely worth it. Never again!!!!! Too expensive! Customer satisfaction is a foreign concept here!

Just like every other Barfüßer or Qmuh, the food is mediocre. The staff is friendly but always in a rush. Never a calm setting. Always yelling, moving bye quickly and stressful. It’s OK, like I said it but definitely too pricey for the „quality“. And if you want to get some really good Italian food, there are better places with even adequate prices.

The food was very bad. The waitress took our order and placed the food on a messy table without clearing it of previous customers. Furthermore, the hygiene was poor. The health department should take a look.

The pizzeria is very nice; you almost feel like you're in Italy. You can sit comfortably outside by the stream and enjoy a large, delicious pizza. The service was also very friendly and authentic; we didn't have to wait long. All in all, a great pizzeria, just like in Italy! Bravissimo!

We stopped by the restaurant while passing through. We had two dishes, pizza and pasta. Neither really impressed us with the taste. Unfortunately, the pizza had no taste at all. However, the staff and service were very friendly and quick.
