Ordinary ramen, instant noodles, a thin slice of chicken and other small pieces enlarged with breading...they don't match the photo, especially the quantity of eggs. The waiter didn't want to give glasses with the drinks!!!! Asking us to drink directly...I insisted. Having ordered two mochi desserts...we received 1 less instead a teaspoon of very frosty chocolate ice cream. I had a green tea ice cream served in its pot...he didn't want to give me a spoon either, he asked me to eat with the little spoon provided in the pot... Very bad experience...to be avoided

The shop specializes in chicken and vegan ramen, which taste delicious! This shop probably isn't for anyone looking for something like Tonkotsu Ramen. Service is very friendly and attentive. I really enjoy coming here :) Update 2024: unfortunately the service has really deteriorated. When I wanted to pay I said that I would like to do so with the card. I was then asked if I would prefer to pay in cash... In addition, the Tonkotsu Ramen available at the time was really mediocre and I wouldn't recommend it. The broth was very thin.

I received a different (more expensive) ramen than what I requested. When this was delivered, I was somewhat pressured (not unfriendly, but quite coercive) to try the ramen that was delivered. The windows themselves were disappointing to me and I also had to pay (even after discussing this at checkout) for the more expensive windows that were brought, which I thought was unfair and not worth repeating as far as I'm concerned.

Yo, so we tried this new ramen place, but it was kinda disappointing. 😞 We saw it on Google Maps and thought it looked cool, so we decided to give it a try. The place is in a hidden spot on Peterstrasse in Aachen, and the decor is pretty nice. I liked the posters, and the staff was super friendly. They're supposed to specialize in chicken and veggies, but they also had tonkotsu, and we couldn't resist. It took a while for the ramen to come out, which is usually a good sign, but when it finally arrived, it was a bit of a letdown. It wasn't as creamy as I would have liked, and it was lacking in flavor. The ginger was strong, though, which added a bit of a surprise. Maybe the other dishes are better, the place wasn't fully booked but enough tongive some hope, so I'm not sure. We might give it another try sometime, but for now, it wasn't what we were hoping for.

People who don't eat meat get their money's worth here. Great selection and so far we haven't been disappointed with the food. Really very tasty!! However, I would advise everyone not to order still water. The Vio bottles 0.75l are filled 100% with tap water, are dirty and will definitely be used several times. I really find that disgusting. Will only order small bottled drinks in the future.

The ingredients were imported from Japan and would be cheaper at the currency rate against the yen, but they were more sophisticated than ramen in Japan, with fewer seats and a relatively long cooking time compared to the surrounding restaurants. For reference, although a simple comparison cannot be made, the price of ramen (WagyuSukiyakiRamen) in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, which appears to target foreign tourists, is 2,980 yen excluding tax (3,278 yen including tax). Considering that it was a good-tasting meal in a relaxed and spacious atmosphere (with plenty of space between seats), it is not a bad choice. Not for those who expect cheap and fast food like ramen restaurants in Japan.

The Paitan Ramen is highly recommended! The soup tastes very authentic and doesn't taste like MSG. The karaage are also crispy and delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxing with warm lighting, plenty of space and Japanese songs in the background. Absolute five stars from me!

The vegan tan tan men ramen tastes very good, I definitely recommend getting the whole wheat noodles for €1 more, they taste 1000 times better! In general, the taste is vegan and identical to meat, except that sometimes small particles of the chicken end up in the broth and it no longer tastes as good as without it. The tofu, on the other hand, is very tasty.

Very tasty ramen and a selection that everyone can find. The taste is also excellent. The only thing that bothered us was that the store recently received a large delivery and the dining room was full of boxes and this spoiled the atmosphere.

I am very disappointed with the takoyaki and ramen. The takoyaki was greasy and not crispy on the outside, soggy on the inside and had no squid flavor at all. It felt like I was just biting dough. The amount of sauce was also extremely small and wasn't enough to enhance the flavor of the balls. In addition, the sauce for the takoyaki was not spread directly on the balls as it should be, but was only delivered in a small cup. The sauce was neither good nor suitable in terms of taste - it was unpleasantly spicy. The ramen was even worse. The broth tasted like nothing, as if it was just water. The noodles were far too soft and didn't have a chewy consistency. The side dishes, especially the meat, were sparse and disappointing. For €14.80 I would have expected a lot more - there were only two or three tiny pieces of chicken. Overall, the taste of the food was a disaster. For the price it is absolutely not justified. I definitely won't order here again.

I got a portion of ramen to take away here. I was happy about the large vegan selection and the ramen was delicious. But I'm pretty upset that I had to pay a euro for the packaging. In itself, I wouldn't think that was a bad thing if my request for reusable items hadn't been met with incomprehension, as is so often the case. Now I'm not only annoyed about all the packaging waste, but also about the fee I had to pay for it 😩

If you want to eat good ramen, this is the place for you! I eat at Takumi Aachen very often and have never been disappointed. I've only eaten ramen there so far, so my 5 star rating only refers to that. There is a large selection of ramen with meat as well as vegetarian ramen, and I especially like the latter. I also think the atmosphere in the restaurant is very good. There are many pictures hanging that give the whole thing its own charm. Japanese music plays throughout, but it's not intrusive. The music somehow disappears into the overall package and is therefore “just there”. It just fits in. I also think the service is very good. The staff are super friendly and you don't have to wait long for your food. That's enough for 5 stars for me. For me, Takumi Aachen is a very good restaurant that I will definitely continue to visit in the future.

My friend and I can only recommend this restaurant, the ramen is super tasty and is always served hot and quite quickly. So far I have only eaten the vegetarian ramen (R12 or R25, for example), but I can only recommend them, the broths are simply delicious heavenly. In my opinion, the selection of dishes, and especially vegetarian dishes, is very large. I also like eating the takoyakis there. These are always hot and the dough is super creamy and tender. After a portion of ramen we are definitely full. The staff is always friendly and totally polite and I really like the atmosphere. Lots of Japanese posters and music give Takumi its charm. The music is not too loud and blends nicely into the background. We will definitely continue to visit Takumi and look forward to it every time.

As some have already written, the service here is unfortunately not good at all and the ambience is not convincing either. The soups are okay, but relatively expensive. We were here because we like Takumi in Düsseldorf and are used to fast and friendly service there. However, we had a very bad experience at the branch in Aachen on our first visit today and cannot recommend Takumi here.

The service was very unfriendly. Ramen was okay, but took 30 minutes. In addition, the dessert did not correspond at all to the description on the menu. There should be matcha, cocoa and mango. Almost same as Takumi dusseldorf. Atmosphere needs improvement and some more care for cleaniness. But overall good place if you crave Ramen and don’t want to drive to dusseldorf.

Where to start? Japanese curry, you can't go wrong. Here it tastes as it looks, namely “vomited”. After one bite, we wanted to have the dish sent back because I felt sick. But the plate wasn't put away. We had to pay the court. No goodwill, no really nice service staff. In addition, the kimchi and rice are a disgrace in Japanese cuisine. But the ramen tasted very good. Nevertheless, we don't go there anymore and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a Japanese cafeteria.

We were there for the first time yesterday and unfortunately had to realize that the service and the restaurant were a complete disaster. It also has to be said that we were the only guests in the restaurant. After we got the cards, it took an eternity for a service person to come, who was nice at first. When the food came, it was placed on the table without a word, and the service left without a word, the same thing happened when it was cleared away, no “enjoy your meal”, “did you enjoy it?” or “was everything okay?”. Our starter was forgotten. With 2 guests who ordered 2 ramen and only one appetizer, this is almost impossible!! I was a waitress in various restaurants for 10 years and by God I have never experienced anything like this in my life. When we pointed out when paying that something had been forgotten, we were kindly asked to do it later and pack it up, but after the soup, which was not even mediocre, we politely declined. Then we were told to just draw attention to each other with a loud hello next time to avoid something like that. (There will be no next time). Just to note, if only one table is occupied, colleague, please be a little more attentive as a service person than just cleaning the shop and just chilling on your cell phone at some point, even where you are hardly seen as a guest! Since there is a large selection of vegan There was food, we went there really excited and, to be fair, with some expectations too, as the reviews looked noticeably good. But if for €14.8 you only get 3 pieces of pepper and tofu, some bean sprouts, and an okay amount of noodles and some spring onions for a vegan ramen, then I'd rather cook ramen myself at home or go somewhere else that's really good fair quantities and attention is paid to quality. After reading so far, you're probably thinking what an intolerant guest, but no, everything would have been fine if the service had compensated for that by being attentive and friendly and asking about the guests' well-being, even forgetting the starter would have been ok, but not even the bare minimum was met here. Sorry, no matter how nice your posters are, we will never come back for that. I would also advise anyone who values ​​good service, quality food and a reasonable price-performance ratio to avoid this shop.

Ramen absolutely on the same level as at the creator in Düsseldorf. Perfect noodles, delicious broth, great toppings. Will mean financial ruin because the path to amazing ramen is so short now. The ambience is simple and admittedly a bit unspectacular. That's why it doesn't have the bustling street food flair like in Düsseldorf. But you don't have to wait in line for 45 minutes because there are enough places. Therefore no deduction for the overall rating, also because you naturally don't come here for a long dinner anyway. I'm very happy to now be able to get delicious ramen locally.
