Taksim Cafe & Restaurant in Mannheim

Worst cafe experience ever! The hygiene in this cafe is catastrophic. The glasses were not washed properly, but only wiped superficially, so that residue was still visible. To my horror, I observed customers dumping leftover lemonade back into the lemonade machine! When I asked the waiter about it, he was extremely unfriendly and still charged us the full price - four Turkish teas that we hadn't even touched. Absolutely unacceptable!

We were very disappointed. Very bad service. We had to change our table 3 times, the other customers were served first even though they came after us. Not recommended. Never go there again, one star too much even for such a café!

Very dirty seats, waiters inflexible etc

I agree with the previous speakers. We were there on the weekend to have a drink. We were neither greeted when we came in nor accompanied to the table, but rather, in our opinion, ignored. After we had been waiting for 10 minutes, a Turkish family of 8 came in and were served immediately and were given food and drinks straight away until they noticed us. We were asked what we wanted without having seen a card beforehand. After we got the old decayed cards, we decided on a coffee that was completely inedible. The men's toilets in the basement are underground! Torn toilet seats, pissy toilets and absolutely no customer-oriented service. Prices like those in Baghdad for sweet dishes and give the impression of a professional restaurant. What a shame!

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience at this cafe. When we asked for a darker tea, we were treated unfriendly and condescendingly, as if we had made a completely unreasonable request. It was as if our concern was a great burden. The service in a café should be hospitable and flexible. After all, the atmosphere is determined by the people, and the staff is the key to a pleasant experience. It's a shame because the tea itself was relatively good, but the rude treatment unfortunately overshadowed the visit negatively. Maybe the café should choose its staff better in the future.

Took forever. The desserts are presented carelessly. Will never go there again.

Waited 10 minutes for the waiter, when I got up to ask, he quickly scurried past me and acted as if he had been there the whole time. Other guests were also sitting there waiting for the waiter. The dessert was okay, but the tea spoon was completely brown and dirty, it was so disgusting. The atmosphere is relatively dusty and not at all comfortable, rather off-putting.

Extremely disappointing. Were there yesterday and just wanted to have a quick Turkish coffee. The condition was extremely unsympathetic. As I know it and in many other cafés with Turkish coffee, I know that a little something, something sweet is always served with it. It was nothing, and the cups were so small, it was a joke! And the extreme water glass, a joke called it, was dirty. And it tasted a lot like tap water, honestly, this restaurant doesn't even deserve one star. Let me be honest with you, the “cozy” atmosphere can be very deceiving. And so I see from the reviews here that I'm not the only one. Just go and leave your money somewhere else.

Even as a woman, you feel comfortable in the café like a Paşa 😅.

Very bad experience. The service was really unpleasant. I politely pointed out a dirty glass to him. A simple sorry would have done it, but the gentleman laughed at the situation and made excuses. You don't feel like you're being taken seriously as a customer. Very unfortunate. Maybe he was the man who everyone here is unhappy with a bad review of...

Please keep the quality like this!!! The Künefe was perfect, with a light crust and tender in the middle!!!! Damat tatlisi was impossible to describe, simply bombastic. Pistachio bomb with a slight sweetness. The whole thing is rounded off with two delicious black teas. We will definitely be back, the service was also attentive and very nice. Best regards

So I drove there from Sinsheim, it wasn't worth it, kunefe was cold, pizza was cold, even cheese was nice and dry, it's a shame about the €54 for everything

The experience was disappointing. We were not informed in advance about the 30 euro reservation fee and that for three tables without any additional services. Felt like a rip off. Not recommendable. However, the atmosphere was very pleasant…

Such an outrageous thing!!!! Went there last night because unfortunately there was nothing else open that sold sweet stuff. First of all, service was a disaster! Then comes the hardship, the waiter asked me a price that couldn't possibly have cost that much!! When I came back and wanted to know the individual prices of what I took with me, he said he said 31 instead of 39??????! RIP OFF! Never again!

Great atmosphere, but unfortunately the service is no longer as committed as it used to be. When ordering two black teas, the lemons were missing. After I pointed out to the waiter to bring me the two missing lemon slices, he brought me two very small and thin lemon slices. When we looked at the bill, we noticed that €0.50 was charged per slice. Regardless of the fact that this is far too expensive and is part of the basic equipment of a black tea, you should inform the guest about this when ordering and not present him with a fait accompli. A little tip: it's better to add a few cents to the tea than to cheekily steal the money from the little man and woman afterwards!!!

The restaurant itself isn't bad, but the waiters are absolutely rude. He says he'll call us when something is available, didn't even let us know, was told that we weren't being served, talks cheekily and at the end added something to the bill that we didn't have. He also pocketed change without asking

I definitely recommend it, it's one of the best cafes in Mannheim, the staff are nice, polite and they have fast service. It's a place where you can rest your mind and sit and chat with your friends with peace of mind. Don't pay attention to the bad comments. Go and see for yourself. They sometimes get surprised when I order Turkish coffee in a tea glass, but of course that's all. 😂😂👍👍

Die syrische Person im Service, die im Inneren arbeitet, ist sehr schlecht. Sie hat fast schon ein Problem zwischen meinem Mann und mir verursacht, da sie immer zu uns kommt und mit uns spricht. Ich weiß nicht, wie solche Leute hier arbeiten dürfen.

Das Restaurant ist gut und preiswert, aber es gibt eine Person Service Arbeit mit, der sehr unhöflich und respektlos ist. Er schaut uns ständig an und versucht, mit uns zu sprechen. Bitte stellen Sie jemanden ein, der diesen Job verdient

Die Atmosphäre war wunderbar, der Service war schnell und der Empfang für die Gäste war ausgezeichnet. Der Ort war in einen besonderen Ort für Familien und einen Ort für Raucher, fernab von Kindern, unterteilt.

Çay, kahve, tatlı, pasta, nargile, yemek, kahvaltı, uzun lafın kısası ne isterseniz var. Çalışanlar hızlı, ilgili, kibar. Biz hep geliyoruz size de tavsiye ederiz.

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Bedienung war nett, künefe is beste.

ich verstehe nicht was meine Vorredner hier haben diesen Laden gibt es schon so lange in mannheim und er hat immer noch die gleiche Performance wie früher während andere Leben schon längst abgesackt sind. wir kommen hier gerne hin.

Wir kommen regelmäßig ins taksim Haben heute hähnchenteller bestellt mit extra Joghurt Soße Leider war die Joghurt Soße sauer wir sprachen den Service darauf an und haben eine Entschuldigung bekommen allerdings kommt der Chef nicht entgegen mit einer Ermäßigung oder einem neuen Essen Wir zahlten den vollen Preis Schade das man so mit Kunden umgeht

Das Essen und Cocktails sind super schmeckt alles gut, aber die Bedienung bzw. die Kellner sind sehr unhöflich sogar etwas Respektlos! Deswegen nur zwei Sterne!

Positiv : -Essen : viel Auswahl an warmen Speisen und Snacks , einzige was wirklich noch fehlt sind Milchalternativen ; -Einrichtung das Cafe hat mit den neuen Möbel eine sehr schöne familiäre Einladung geschafft und man sitzt gemütlich Negativ : -Service (-10) Lange Wartezeiten bis mal ein Kellner/in auf einen Aufmerksam wird , keine Begrüßung am Eingang , es wirkt eher wie eine null Bock Stimmung - unter der Woche so langsam zu arbeiten geht null , was will man an an gut besuchten Wochenenden machen ?!?! Insgesamt dennoch einen Besuch wert.

Ich habe nur Tee getrunken .Nette Mitarbeiterin .Man kann draußen rauchen .Innenraum ist gemütlich eingerichtet .

Die Preise sind sehr hoch und nicht angemessen für das, was man bekommt. 2,50 € für ein Stück Baklava zum mitnehmen und 5 € für einen Becher Supangle. Leider geschmacklich auch nicht überzeugend.

Profiterollü muhallebi almıştım ama kreması ekşimişti, büyük hayal kırıklığı yaşadım ve param çöpe gitti. Taze ürünler satmaya özen gösterilse ne kul hakkına girilir ne de şikâyete gerek kalır. Verdiğim yıldızın biri künefe, biri alkolsüz kokteyller ve diğeri de güleryüzlü elemanlar için.

Pilav üstü döner sipariş vermiştim. İftar yoğunluğundan olsa gerek kuruydu. Beğenmedim. Ama çalışan arkadaşlar guleryuzlu ve ilgiliydi.

Biraz temizlik konusunu ele almanin gerekiyor...Masa 13 koltuklarin durumu ic acici değil.. Personal ilgisiz ve Türkceyi iyi bilmiyorlar..umarim düzelir

Kuru pastalar aşırı bayat. Taze denmesine rağmen bayat çıktı. Güvenilmez. Ama soğuk baklavası enfes.

Pide war super, im Ofen Überbackenes war, naja, mit wenig überbacken. Service nicht der schnellste, aber freundlich. Sitzbezüge sind durchaus ein wenig dreckig

Preise üppig, Vielfalt ja, Service ja, aber der Laden riecht einfach nach Klo... und das seit Jahren. Keine Besserung in Sicht.

Einfach spitze!!!! Die Künefe ist köstlich mein Favorit das kann ich nur empfehlen allgemein die Atmosphäre ist sehr schön die türkischen Gerichte sind einfach genial. Das personal ist sehr freundlich und höflich. Die Hygiene ist top. Das essen köstlich und die Desserts sind einfach nur unbeschreiblich lecker. Ich kann nur empfehlen da hin zu gehen.

War das 1 mal dort. Service war nett aber Das Essen war schön fürs Auge aber geschmacklich jetzt nicht so super. Ambiente war toll . Preislich bißchen überteuert meiner Meinung nach..
