Everything was good but the chicken quality was really bad…

Very delicious food with friendly, attentive, and humorous staff. :) The ambiance is very pleasant with lots of decor and the relatively open layout. A highly recommended restaurant near the Schöneweide center and the S-Bahn station.

Food is too bad. To be very honest, I feel I am having food from a very cheap restaurant. It is so bad.

Unbeatable value: total: 4 drinks, 1 salad, 1 soup, 2 main courses = €44. We were there before 3 p.m. and could have taken advantage of the lunch specials. The value for money here is great. The food was also pretty good, and not just for the price. I'll be stopping by more often now. Oh, and before I forget: friendly, quick, and good service.

The food was delicious, although there was a bit too little rice for two people (a small bowl), but the service made up for it. The food was presented very traditionally, which really impressed me, and the service was very attentive and friendly. There were also vegan options, which made the decision to eat here very easy for me. I can definitely recommend it.

I didn't know that so much salt could produce so little flavor. Even the three typical ready-made sauces lacked any flavor. About as charmless as the joyless metal bowls the food was served in. At least I have to praise the service: friendly, attentive—almost too good for what came out of the kitchen. If you've ever wanted to know what disappointment tastes like—this is where it's served.

A fantastic restaurant! The biggest and tastiest samosas I've ever had, and unbeatable value for money! (Starter, main course, and a mango lassi for exactly €20) I'll bookmark it for next time!

I ordered the Chicken Mango, which was inedible. The sauce was way too thick and probably made with spoiled cream or milk. The chicken wasn't cooked all the way through. Besides that, the Bathura I ordered with it was soggy.

I ordered lunch from Taj Mahal via Uber Eats: Chicken Tikka, Palak Paneer and Mulligatawny (Chicken) Soup. Everything was very good and full of flavor. The complimentary Bhatura bread was also delicious. The order was delivered on time and the delivery person was very nice. Would definitely like to dine at Taj Mahal in person next time.

The food here is very good and delicious, no doubt about that. However, they have a policy of not accepting card payments for amounts under €25. As someone who usually dines alone, my bill is often below that, and it’s quite inconvenient to always carry cash or add more just to meet the limit. Would love to see more flexible payment options in the future.

I ordered the Chicken Korma and unfortunately I was quite disappointed. The dish was seasoned far too sweetly, so that the typical spices and flavors that one would expect from Indian cuisine were hardly evident. Instead of a balanced seasoning, it tasted more like a dessert than a main course. Carelessly done without any understanding of the court itself. That was the last time for us.

Excellent restaurant with very good food and service. It really is an experience. Sharpness on request, so those who want it less spicy or very spicy will also get their money's worth.

Ordered for 2: Samosas, Paneer Jalfrezi, Dal Tadka, Garlic Naan, Rice, and Mango Lassi. Samosas were just okay — nothing special. But the rest of the food was amazing and impressively close to authentic flavors. Portions were generous and the pricing was reasonable. It was a bit oily, but hey, what’s Indian food without a little oil? Definitely worth trying if you're craving something flavorful and hearty.

But... in the anteroom on the left there is actually an Indian sleeping at the table, the toilet is dingy, no towels, the anteroom is completely chaotic and neglected. I invited friends over and that was super embarrassing!!!

Als wir das Restaurant betraten schlief ein Inder im Eingangsbereich links ungeniert am Tisch, unglaublich! Das Essen war lecker. Der Kellner sehr höflich. Deko sehr hübsch. Aber dann die Toiletten schmuddelig und der Vorraum voller Chaos in Bezug auf Vorräte.

We have eaten at the Taj Mahal so many times, it always tastes very tasty. Do you want original Indian food? Say it when ordering and you will get original Indian food. We will be back soon.

Batura & cheese naan very good. The rest of the food was fine. However, there were strange light green spots on the rice like it was from another sauce, which was a bit unappetizing so we didn't eat it. The duck meat was not like that.

The delivery time is far too long. I ordered at 6:22 p.m. and now at 8:15 p.m. the food is still not here. After a call I was simply told: “Yes, yes, in 10 minutes!” – that’s really outrageous!

The food was really good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices are great (2 of us ate our fill and took a full portion home with us for just under 30€). Had nice background music and a spacious setup. Definitely recommend this!

Authentic Indian-Pakistani food. I've tried many shops - but here the Palak Paneer (spinach with cream cheese) simply tastes the best. The portions are generous and reasonably priced - there are even particularly cheap lunch offers. The boss usually takes care of the service personally. Fast, friendly and delicious. Even if it doesn't look like it from the outside - here you get 5* for the food and the service!

Honestly, where do the 4.7 stars come from??? The ambience is mediocre, the tables by the window are cold and drafty. Due to the high ceilings, the room is generally quite cool. The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation. The tablecloths are not completely changed even if they are very dirty. The music is completely lost. The food was very watery. The flavors didn't really come through. There were fast food joints where I got a more authentic meal. The appetizer platter was absolutely ordinary and not even nicely draped. The service. . . brought the wrong drink. Brought the wrong food. It took forever for the first drink, the starter easily took 20 minutes. The main course took another 20 minutes after we had finished the starter. Others came after us and ate before us. The delivery service came and went in one go. Atmosphere like at the train station. Again . . . where do the stars come from? I can't recommend it.
