I've eaten much better Indian food in Berlin. Unfortunately, I didn't find it quite as it should be. The butter chicken didn't taste like butter chicken, but rather like tomato, and you could taste the sourness. The bread was also more doughy than crispy...

As always, highly recommended food. After the change of ownership, the plates have become a little smaller and the small side dishes that were always there with the previous owner are missing. So, no more small side salads etc.

Unfortunately i can’t review the food, because the staff was just so rude that we decided to leave the table and go somewhere else. As soon as I told the waitress that we have a coupon from Neo Taste she switched her attitude 180 degrees and started to treat us like second category clients. Even though she had the paper menu in her hands she told us in a super rude tone that we can just view it in the app. We told her we would prefer to see it on paper several times and she finally gave us just one. After this super unfriendly and not welcoming at all interaction we decided to go somewhere else. i’m sorry, but a restaurant is not only about food and money you make, but also about the atmosphere you create. if you don’t want people to use Neo Taste at your restaurant simply just don’t participate in the program.

I ate there for a long time because they used to be delicious, but from time to time the taste and service have decreased more and more, they don't care about the quality of the food. Chicken Madras is no longer Chicken Madras. I ordered Madras and soup All the soup spilled into the bag because the driver is too stupid to carry the bag properly and they don't put aluminum foil around the soup. It's a complete disaster, I'll post a picture of it too

My Chicken Madras is always delicious. I have been absolutely satisfied with what the restaurant offers for years. I would have a criticism for the salad. The dressing is not good and doesn't go well with your delicious dishes. As far as the service is concerned, the lady/waitress is always very warm and just human. Small restaurant with delicious Indian food and polite staff.

Ordered takeaway vegetarian dish Malai Kofta. While the vegetable balls were delicious, the sauce was watery and lacked flavour. Portion size was good, and plus for them offering Vytal container option to reduce plastic packaging waste (extra star for this). Not sure I'd order here again, the sauce didn't speak to me enough as there are a lot of indian restaurants around Neukölln.

Real good value for money, authentic and delicious. Straight to the point and the meat is SUPER tender, spices are on point. Will come back!

This is the worst butter chicken I have ever eaten in my whole life. If i could give 0 stars I would. The sauce was way too sweet and had no flavor. Clearly they do not make their food themselves. They must buy it in a bulk from a restaurant depot or something. Very disappointing and quite disgusting. The paneer naan was also not very good, too dry. The salad that came with the meal was not even indian cuisine, it came with way too much salad dressing (the same one you find at every dönner shop in Berlin). This is the most disappointing restaurant i’ve had in a long time, huge waste of money as their prices are not the cheapest despot using the cheapest ingredients.

We used the Neotaste (discount) app here, and were directed to a special menu for this, with substantially higher prices. Really disappointed with this dishonest scam. Will not be coming again. Responding to the response: The app menu has largely the same dishes, but they are like 20-40% more expensive. You are defrauding customers and should be called out for it.

The Amba Restaurant has become my favorite Indian restaurant. The food is made with love , incredible seasonings, and all the meats are always so soft they just fall apart in your mouth . I have been here 3 times now and will always come back . My favorite part of all is that it is family run , and they are very kind people .

Amazing place just outside the center of Berlin. We were greeted by a very kind woman with a homely smile. We chose the menu option of €7.50 per person, my girlfriend ordered a dish with lotus roots which she loved and I ordered a very delicious spicy sour chicken with some garlic nann. In addition, the dishes had a magnificent soup full of flavor as a starter. Super recommended

We had the curry chicken rice supper as a starter and the butter chicken as the main course. The food was seasoned fantastically. The curry in the soup was very fruity and balanced in taste. The meat was super tender. The only thing I have to complain about was the rice, which was served with cumin, you should probably ask about that beforehand. Otherwise, top food at a great price!

10pm on a Saturday night I was the only diner. The food was not bad, but nothing special. I had aubergine fritters to start, followed by tofu jalfrezie. It all came really quickly - and I guess was an example of Indian food done German style. With a beer it came to €18. I left full and satisfied.

The restaurant is in a very lively street serving until late also. The food is super and with big amount that are fair for the prices. The service is very fast and the people here are very kind and smiling. The atmosphere is good and the chairs are comfy with a cool background Indian music.
