food was good but they gave me the wrong order. waited 25 minutes for takeaway and only told me it was cash only once the food was ready, and then took card anyway

Delicious food (I love Indian food and so far it was the best I've had in Berlin, I've lived here for 8 years and I've tried several Indian restaurants around the city), excellent service! They are always super friendly with my children and my family who visit me frequently from Brazil. Clean and well decorated environment. I always recommend this restaurant to people.

Even though we only arrived shortly after midnight and the kitchen was about to close, we were still warmly welcomed and two mixed starter plates were prepared. The mixed pakoras were delicious and the three different sauces went very well with them. The cocktails were also tasty and let us end the evening relaxed.

Basic standards but higher prices

Visiting Berlin, I came across this restaurant! Good food and drinks! The spectacular moment was when I got my Long Island, it was awesome especially the presentation, it was mind-blowing 🤩 Recommended! Sorry, didn't take any photos of the food!

Had Palak Paneer as Business Lunch - soup and main dish were much too salty, a pity to destroy the taste.

We arrived in Berlin very late and were still given a very friendly welcome. The food was very tasty! Lots of interesting dishes, we could hardly decide. The mixed pakora plate was large, but we still enjoyed the very well-seasoned food afterwards. At the end there was a delicious mango schnapps. Friendly service, great food in a cozy atmosphere, that's how we landed wonderfully in Berlin!

The food tasted very good and the dessert was also a masterpiece. Every 1 star rating is a lie!

Wow, super tasty. In my humble opinion, the best Indian food in Germany so far. The pakora was fried to perfection and the breading was absolutely tasty. The naan bread came to the table super fresh and hot. The Vindaloo lamb was tender and the spiciness was perfect for me. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Food wasn't special. I waited over 30 minutes for my bill because I wanted to pay by card and not the toilets were dirty and the lame place where dinner was at 6 p.m. was completely empty. I wouldn't go back to hiring this store. But you have to pay a lot of money for nothing

The food was mediocre. I ordered dal makhani which was ok. I had to send back salted lassi as it had too much salt and then they brought back with sugar and milk!!! I could not finish it. Had to return Naan as it was undercooked/kaccha! And they only accept cash so had to go and find an atm at the end of this horrible experience…

they should rename their restaurant to "NON-SPICY INDIA". they dont make authentic indian food. just food for the german customers without any actual taste.

Its an Indian restraunt run by a Bangladesh native hence the flavours for us didnt hit the exact notes that we are used to in India. Secondly, Malai kofta was Sour/Khatta meaning it was Stale. The server was nice and replaced the stale dish however to our suprise the person who was incharge wasnt pleasant, came to argue/defend their dish.He seemed visually unhappy/irritated with the waiter that our dish was replaced. All in all, wouldnt recommend.

One of our regular Indians in Berlin. The food is super tasty, the portions are large and the staff is super friendly and attentive. We therefore eat here regularly. We eat vegan and vegan eating is possible here without any problems ☺️. Gluten-free and vegan are also no problem (my wife has celiac disease). I can therefore only recommend the restaurant to you ☺️.

Good lunch offer with small soup and main course for €7.5-9. Unfortunately the drinks are quite expensive.

I've been ordering here for years and always enjoy eating in the restaurant. My Indian friend says the food is authentic and she hasn't said that about any other Indian restaurant we've visited. The service is just as good as the food and you feel like you're in good hands!

Really good food. Closest I have found to Indian food. We ordered the Prawn Masala and the gravy consistency as well as taste was much better than most other restaurants in Berlin. We also got free schnapps at the end of our meal by the super friendly owner and server. 100% would recommend. The naan had a generous helping of butter cheese as well as garlic. Amazingly delicious!

2 days back I ordered the Chicken tandoori and Biryani. The Chicken tandoori was not at all cooked properly, they didn’t even clean that chicken properly and it’s made me sick. I will 100% complaint this restaurant to food safety department. I would definitely recommend anyone stay away from this restaurant.

This place is the defination of how bad butter chicken can be. I have ordered butter chicken with indian spicy but it was extremely pale. Curry was not cooked sufficiently. We were unable to eat it and ordered from another restaurant. Eventually next day we cooked it again with more spices. Dal makhani was also below average. Whole food experience was really bad and I won’t recommend this place to anyone.

The food and service both need a lot of improvement. Don’t waste your money here.

I went here alone for a weekday lunch. The chicken korma I had was quite bland and the garlic nan was undercooked. The staff was very unfriendly and turned even more sour when I wanted to pay by credit card. Not recommended

Forced to write this review, really it’s one of the worst restaurants I have ever visited really didn’t wish to write negative for some one but really than I felt the owner should realise their mistakes and improve . To start with I ordered veg biryani and I was served with non veg briyani and I was lucky to make out before even to start eating but than too the owner was so ignorant about all this issue untill the end too .also I had to ask for my drinks couple of times to be serve really poor service Please for all vegetarians plz do think before to make your choice . Also I felt they could not handle their customers at to the mark and was all hay wire all thru . Plz be professional to run a restaurant and give importance to your clients

Wie gewohnt ein einziger Genuss. In anderen Landesküchen mag schon mal ein Hauch an speziellem Geschmack fehlen - im Spice India nicht. Sowohl die kleineren Gerichte wie die Hauptgerichte glänzen geradezu. Als Gast vor Ort und ebenso als Catering-Nutzer für größere Bestellungen waren wir stets vollends zufrieden. Und wenn der Chef zugegen ist, verbreitet er eine besondere Art der Willkommenheit und Heiterkeit. Hervorragende Gastronomie im Herzen von Berlins Westteil! Weiter so bitte!

Das Essen war einfach lecker und toll gewürzt. So sollte indisches Essen schmecken. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und ruhig. Wir waren im Seitenraum. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Hervorragendes Essen, zwei Vorspeisen und vier Hauptspeisen. Von vegan über vegetarisch bis hin zu verschiedenen Fleischgerichten alles dabei. Tolles Personal und schönes Ambiente :)

Maten var veldig god og kom raskt på bordet.. Restauranten hadde uteservering og vi kunne derfor spise ute. De to kelnerne som serverte var blide. Restauranten ligger sentralt i Berlin ikke langt fra buss og t-bane. Det eneste minuset var at da vi skulle betale ville kelneren ha betalt i kontanter. Men han måtte godta betaling med kredittkort. Han ba om kontanter flere ganger. Dette ødela den gode stemningen.

One of the worst Indian restaurants I’ve had food at, in Berlin. We ordered chicken biryani and malai kofta. Chicken biryani was not even like a biriyani and it tasted tangy (tamarind was possibly added). Malai kofta was undercooked and lacked any taste. We spent 32 Euros on these 2 dishes and quantity served was also less compared to other Indian restaurants. Will never recommend this place for anyone, please visit Amrit/Annapurna nearby instead of wasting your Money here.

Det virkede vidunderligt, og havde gode omtaler med mulighed for glutenfri mad. Jeg har cøliaki, og bliver hundesyg af gluten. Vi blev mødt af en tjener, det var et stort spørgsmålstegn, da vi spurgte til glutenfri mad. Herefter forsvandt ham. I ventetiden kunne vi læse i menukortet, at de glutenholdige retter var markeret, hvilket gjorde det væsentligt nemmere at vælge retter. Da tjeneren endeligt kom tilbage kunne vi bestille de ønskede retter. Jeg bestilte huset specialitet med kylling, da det var glutenfrit. Vi fik maden serveret, og efter at vi havde smagt på maden kommer tjeneren tilbage, og fortæller mig, at jeg har fået den forkerte ret. Her fik jeg koldsved over, at det jeg havde spist kunne have været glutenholdigt, men heldigvis var det en anden glutenfri ret, og mavesmerterne udeblev. Det kunne være gået rigtigt galt, så jeg kan på ingen måde anbefale denne restaurant, da de har en skødesløs holdning til allergener.

The main reason for the poor review is The server said 2 Euros for tap water! Never seen that before I refused I think restaurants forget that they are in the people and hospitality business

Meine Freunde und ich, insgesamt sieben von uns, besuchten dieses fabelhafte indische Restaurant und waren von der Vielfalt und Qualität der vegetarischen und veganen Gerichte, die auf der Speisekarte angeboten wurden, überwältigt. Jedes Gericht war wunderbar gewürzt, dabei perfekt ausbalanciert und äußerst schmackhaft. Der Service war außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Trotz unserer großen Gruppe und der verschiedenen Ernährungspräferenzen, fühlten wir uns jederzeit gut aufgehoben und wurden exzellent beraten. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war warm und einladend, was unser kulinarisches Erlebnis noch angenehmer machte. Wir alle genossen die lebendige, aber entspannte Stimmung und können es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen. Wenn Sie nach authentischen, aromatischen und exquisit zubereiteten indischen vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten suchen, empfehle ich dieses Restaurant aufs Wärmste. Had placed an order today. Received rotten 3-4 old days food. Every thing was spoilt. We could not even eat. Called and complained and they kept saying the food is new. Please becareful. Horrible. Worst indian food iny life...

Es war recht laut durch die Straße und die Rettung und Feuerwehr. Das Essen war lecker aber ... Und das hatte ich selten beim Inder, gefühlt wenig. Das Service war nett, aber langsam.

Leider hat da Essen nicht überzeugt. Die Bedienung war zwar freundlich, aber recht langsam.

Wir sind durch Zufall auf das Restaurant gestoßen und äußerst glücklich darüber. Das Essen war fantastisch, die Portionen ordentlich, das Ambiente ist hübsch gemacht und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Zudem sind die Preise für das, was geboten wird und die Lage, vollkommen in Ordnung. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

The worst restaurant ever had the food. The restaurant waiter was so rude and not ready to answer any question. Food was also very bad . Dal makhani was very salty and oily.

Bei Lieferando bestellt. Essen nicht wirklich gut. Ein Gericht wurde vergessen. Auf telefonischer Nachfrage, wurde mir zugesagt, dass es sofort nachgeliefert wird. Eine weitere Stunde später rief ich erneut an und es wurde schon wieder vergessen. Nach knapp 3 Stunden nach Bestellung und mehrfacher Anrufe kam es kalt und ohne Entschuldigung an.

Good indian food is hard to find in our small Norwegian City, so I always go for indian when visiting a larger European city. This was just bad, sorry to say. The butter chicken was one dimensional and too sweet. The mixed pakora platter had overcooked vegetables, and a badly seasoned batter. The accompanying sauces were no better and seemed store bought.

Worst restaurant filled with rude cheap guys from I guess Bangladesh, suggest please don't go here thinking it's Indian restaurant they are just using India name to run their business. Food was worst, staff were worst, rude, not clean. They shout on you and behave as if they own entire Berlin. Food is made with all ready to eat or processed food, we could not even eat one spoon, naan was processed, biryani has everything which should not be in the dish and too pricy. Please don't visit thinking it's Indian restaurant and get fooled and loose money. Not worth even 1 start because it's mandatory to give I am giving 1 star

This is the most pathetic Indian Named restaurant. These people are not at all Indian and they are just pretending with the name. You can see the condition of food in photos. Worst experience Pathetic Food Not even near the Indian test I recommend going to Annapurna instead they are amazing people with amazing Indian tasty food. Palak Paneer and Mango lassi is a must try.

I frequently visited this restaurant to buy mix biryani for takeout. Biryani was delicious and the staff was friendly.

Lezzetli yemekler. Özellikle Naan dedikleri sarımsaklı ekmek şahane. Tavsiye ediyorum. Türkler özellikle az acılı olsun diye uyarmalı. Garsonlar komik şakalar yapmaya çalışıyor ama bir müddet sonra sıkılıyorsunuz. Az konuşmakta fayda var.

Generally I do not write bad reviews for an Indian restaurant but for this one it deserves. If you want to order a bad taste food and later on have diarrhea. Please ho for it. Sorry Spice India but you have a big opportunity at your hand. Having an Indian restaurant at Ku’damm and you are screwing it.

Das Restaurant hat eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre. Man wird schnell bedient und auch das Essen ließ nicht lange auf sich warten. Es hat sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Am längsten benötigt man wahrscheinlich für das Finden der Speise, da es, selbst für Veganer/Vegetarier eine gute Auswahl gibt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Tagesabschluss.

Ich habe Sabzi Biryani und Tandoori Chicken. Das Tandoori Chicken habe ich noch nicht probiert, aber der Biryani war sehr gut gewürzt, richtig stark, aber ausgewogen. Ich mag stark gewürzte Gerichte und würze mir viele Gerichte mit Bhut Jolokia Chillis, Habaneros oder Carolina Reaper - abgehärtete Geschmacksknospen… Update März 2023 Nach Hause geliefert, leider komplett versalzen, beide Gerichte. Wie nach Fondor oder einem ollen Brühwürfel.

Sehr leckere Cocktails,wir kommen bald wieder um das Essen zu probieren. Der Service war über die Maße freundlich und zuvorkommend

We were there for a good dinner after a long day to have a good Indian food. We ordered Dal Makhni & Paneer Jalfrezi, chapati & naan. They served breads first, I don’t know why. Then after waiting for a very long time they served dal & paneer. The food was very bad and I don’t recommend any of you to go there if you are looking for good Indian food.

This restaurant doesn’t serve INDIAN food. They use Indian spices to make some dishes which have an Indian name but are absolutely non-Indian. Simple dishes like DAL MAKHANI and PANEER JALFAREZI are nothing but tomato purée. The gravy was so thin that we felt like this a tomato soup with PANEER in it. The chefs are also not Indian. Please don’t waste your time and money here. Staff is ok.
