I was there for the lunch buffet on Saturday. There was a variety of meat and fish available for grilling. The buffet was plentiful and delicious, and there was even a good amount of duck. All in all, a lovely afternoon.

It's a very nice restaurant in itself. Unfortunately, the ambiance is somewhat reminiscent of a train station waiting room. Most importantly, the food was very good.

I went to Taipan with my family today to celebrate my birthday, as we have for the past three years – and to be honest, it was a complete disappointment. What should have been a lovely evening turned into pure stress! The place was completely packed, there was a large party going on, and the staff was totally overwhelmed. We understood that things might take longer with so many people – but what happened here was just utter chaos. There was absolutely no system at the grill station. Plates were piled up everywhere, nobody knew what order they were supposed to go in, and guests who arrived after us got their food much sooner. We waited over an hour and a half for our plates, and even after complaining, it took forever. Even worse: Everything is cooked side-by-side on a single large grill – without any separation. This inevitably means that food from other guests ends up on your plate. We suddenly had fish on our plate that none of us wanted. It's simply disgusting and unhygienic. Furthermore, some of the meat wasn't cooked properly, some of it was even raw. ... The staff were friendly, but it was clear how stressed and overwhelmed they were. The whole concept falls apart as soon as the place is full. The restrooms were also in a terrible state – no soap, no toilet paper, everything seemed neglected. Honestly, for a birthday dinner, it was a huge disappointment. I've never experienced such chaos in any other restaurant. I was looking forward to a nice evening with my family – instead, it was just frustrating. That was definitely the last time I'll eat my birthday there.

We ate at Taipan today – unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. The restaurant was hosting a large party (a birthday celebration) and was packed at the same time, which clearly overwhelmed the staff. At the buffet, you can have the meat cooked fresh to order – a great idea in principle, but the execution is simply chaotic. There's no proper system at the cooking station. The counter is piled high with plates, some of which sit around for hours because no one can keep track of which plate belongs to whom. It's understandable that it takes longer with so many people – but without a clear order, the whole thing is simply unacceptable and unhygienic. Furthermore, due to the stress, the food is often not cooked properly; some dishes were even still half raw. Even after complaining, we had to wait over half an hour for our plates. On the positive side, the staff are always friendly and try hard to hide their exhaustion – but unfortunately, that doesn't change the massive organizational problems. We had similar experiences on previous visits: At the food stand, all the food is cooked side-by-side on a large griddle without any dividers. This makes it easy for bits of other dishes to accidentally end up in your own food – for example, fish that we didn't even want. This isn't just unhygienic, it's simply sloppy work. In addition, the restrooms were in poor condition: no toilet paper, no soap, and generally neglected. It's a shame – the concept is good, but the organization, hygiene, and processes urgently need improvement. As it is now, we unfortunately cannot recommend it.

The buffet food is very varied. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, there are some guests who don't adhere to civilized rules. There are enough spoons and tongs for placing food on your plate. You don't necessarily have to use your fingers. Parents should also make sure their children don't rummage around in the buffet. But the restaurant can't be blamed for that.

We were there yesterday. It was very clean, and the counter was nice and clean. The food was good. The service was a shame; they could have come more often. Just a tip. Depending on the number of guests, the buffet can be very loud and crowded. This is one reason why we prefer to eat here during the week rather than on weekends. The interior is really impressive and stylish. The staff is polite. However, the raw food that was sent out for cooking was a bit bland and not as tasty as other Mongolian BBQ places. The wait was also quite long. But the cooked food on the buffet was fresh, crispy and offered a huge selection, including desserts.

And we were ALWAYS served in a friendly and courteous manner! Gastronomy is a strenuous profession; Despite everything, I always found the entire staff to be friendly, polite and highly motivated! You also always have private conversations; a very family atmosphere. The selection, quality and taste at the buffet are excellent and unparalleled in the region. It is always fresh and attractively prepared. It is and remains our favorite restaurant!!!

Unfortunately, we were treated very badly today by the owner and service because we wanted to redeem our bonus booklet: we had collected 24 stamps (i.e. loyal guests). When paying, excuses were made that the stamps weren't worth that much and, contrary to the description on the bonus booklet, the food wasn't free. In the end they asked for almost exactly as much as the regular price. We didn't think it was fair and can therefore no longer recommend it. After an eternity of discussions, it finally worked out and we accepted our own voucher. In general, unfortunately, the negative feeling about the otherwise rich buffet predominates. We won't be coming back.

We went to the Taipan Restaurant for the first time because a friend of ours had been there several times and was always absolutely thrilled with the place. So we accompanied him... And what can I say? It's exactly how you imagine it to be. There are no culinary leaps of joy here. Very generic, nothing special, dishes of the average quality you get in other buffets of this type. You just get what you pay for. To be fair, that's exactly what the paying customer wants. Quantity is much, much more important than quality. And if the price is right, even better. You'll definitely get full for comparatively little money here. We won't be coming back, but our friend is still enthusiastic.

I was at Taipan 6 days ago and can't understand where the idiotic reviews are coming from. It's all kind of ridiculous when I read it. Were they in a restaurant I don't know, or probably they opened their fridge. Please leave the church in the village. If you know what I mean. In today's world, when a schnitzel costs around 20 euros and salad and fries cost around another 6 euros, the Taipan restaurant with all its options is a paradise for the price. It's also clean, conditions are quick and super friendly. What more do you actually want? You are welcome to go to higher qualified places that definitely exist in Dubai. But your wallet is probably too small for that. Like mine. Be happy. What's all this crap? But typically German. I'm a German myself. And I've known the restaurant since 2006. Enjoy it and if you complainers don't like it, just get your dinner at Aldi or MC Donald. Go back next week. I'm looking forward to it. Greetings

I couldn't understand some of the negative reviews last Friday. The food tasted very good, the staff were very friendly - I can't complain. One point deducted because the parking spaces in front of the restaurant are extremely limited - they all probably belong to Easy Fitness. Oh yes, there weren't even close to any dead fish.

Either the food tastes like nothing or it tastes like salt. And the good reviews are old reviews. My dad was there a year ago and he says it was OK back then. Now there is no cake, no sushi, no shrimp... You can also really tell that the food is not fresh. Me and my family only ate ice cream.

Food and selection were good. Service was top. Due to the background noise, the ambience is reminiscent of a mixture of a train station hall and a children's playground. Cleanliness around the buffet (floor) could be better, but it's certainly difficult with the crowd. If you feel like eating a buffet and just want to lose weight quickly, it's ok. It wouldn't be anything for us to linger.

You never have any problems with space in this huge restaurant. The buffet is just as big, with a wide variety of ready-made dishes, raw versions of fish, meat, etc. for your own barbecue plate, or sushi and dessert. The service is attentive and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. All in all, a well-rounded affair.

Already the 3rd visit in 2024. Very tasty food with a fairly large selection. I've never left the door hungry or dissatisfied, quite the opposite! There are enough seats, even for large groups of around 8 people per table. So far, a reservation has not been necessary despite spontaneous visits. There is the option of putting together raw ingredients yourself and having them fried or choosing from a large selection of prepared dishes. Soups, fried, boiled, fried, sushi...so much that your stomach is too small to be able to enjoy everything thoroughly twice! Desserts like jelly, ice cream and cake are also available if you are still able after all the delicacies... 😉 The service on October 18th was very sweet, very eager, cheerful and attentive. She stopped by regularly and later, quite unexpectedly, presented our offspring with something to celebrate their birthday. At the same time she sang a serenade and put a smile on everyone's faces! A very likeable event that is rare but radiates a lot of positive energy! Deciding where to eat again soon is definitely not that difficult after such wonderful experiences! More quantity than quality but that's okay. There are certainly better ones, but the selection process is large and there is a lot of fish, meat and seafood.

A very nice place to spend a nice and satisfying time

It's been a long time since I've been there again and I have to say it tasted very good. The buffet was very rich and there was almost nothing missing (well, there were probably people who see some specialties as no longer up to date). It's better to go to a vegan restaurant and eat seaweed or nettles! Beef, liver, pork, chicken, duck, with noodles very tasty! Fish also sufficient and good! The salad and vegetables were also varied. I would have liked the desserts to be a little more Asian, e.g. B. Ul Boov or caramel tart. But that's complaining at a high level. The waitress was very, very nice and even had time for a nice conversation and asked whether we were satisfied and whether she could bring us anything else. I really like the style because I don't like having my food brought to me by a robot like in other restaurants and on the journey you often find the handle in strangers' food (the way to the buffet isn't too long for me). I can only recommend it, the price is good and the banana wheat is great! P.S.: There are people who load their plate so full that half of it falls down on the way to the table. I think it's very good when the plate is still half full without being eaten and then an extra 5 euros are charged per 200g. There are people who would be happy with 200g of food! Think about it!

Have been there for a while and I have to say that the food was really good. Of course I didn't try everything, but what I ate was good - except for tiramisu, which was totally watery. However, this is not the national dish of Asians. I need to go there every week now - it's not a bargain either - but every now and then it's really good.

Here you can still eat large portions at reasonable prices. It's worth bringing containers to take leftovers with you if you don't eat as much, otherwise it would be a shame. Lots of space, nice decor, large map. I knew the buffet from business lunches. A la carte prices are really still moderate. I can only wish it stays that way. We'll be back!

A restaurant in the industrial area in Schwalbach am Taunus, it is also called Kronberger Hang. The food and service were good. You can be satisfied with that. The atmosphere takes some getting used to. The high ceilings give you a kind of train station acoustics. It's very loud. And actually too dark! There are enough parking spaces. You just have to walk a few meters!

Out of the way but nice clean place for Chinese food and buffet

If you're really hungry, you've come to the right place. For “normal” meals, I prefer to go to my Chinese restaurant or my Thai restaurant. But: here there are huge round tables with semi-circular, extremely comfortable red leather sofas. Also ideal for celebrations or larger groups. There is also a huge hall at the back, but the atmosphere there isn't that exciting. We spent lovely hours here with lots of guests, i.e. at the front, at the round tables.

A review to throw out some love! I'm horrified by what some people are commenting on here. You might think that these people expected fine dining and star cuisine here. Guys, it's an all you can eat restaurant that's currently very cheap at just under €24. I assume that a plate can hold an average value of €8, sometimes more, sometimes less. After three plates you'll theoretically have it in there and won't have much room for more. You can't expect any big jumps and you'll still get a decent meal with friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere. And if something doesn't fit, you can conveniently use something else the next round. And if you are very hungry and are strategic when choosing your food, you can even get a real bargain here! You will find a solid selection of Asian dishes here. There are starters, soups, salads, main courses, a grill station with a wide selection of dishes to grill (meat, fish and vegetables) and a rich selection of desserts. I also have a lavish drinks menu. I think: very well done 👍🏼👍🏼

The house is a bit old and could use some cleaning and repairs here and there. Food is normal buffet standard, so nothing special. When it's very crowded it can get loud, but it often gets lost. The leather seats become uncomfortable at some point and the ambience generally doesn't invite you to linger for long.

I don't normally write reviews, AAAAABUT... We wanted to try a new all you can eat and came across this one. Normally we go to the Asiapalast in Langen, but we will continue after tonight if possible. The food was mediocre for someone who doesn't have high standards, but absolutely not worth the price. I'm writing this review now because my girlfriend and I take turns on the toilet bowl. It is a trickle that is second to none. If only we had paid attention to the bad reviews and avoided the restaurant. Absolutely not recommended, go to the Asiapalast if you care about your well-being.

It used to be better..Unfortunately quality goes down and prices go up..150€ for 4 people. Which I'm happy to pay but in the first 30 minutes 2/3 of all dishes were empty and are being refilled very slowly..
