Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended, as the food is delicious and the service is generally friendly. It can get quite busy at lunchtime. Parking isn't easy. The atmosphere isn't particularly inviting. Prices have increased, as is the case everywhere these days. A downside is that you don't always get a receipt, and it's unclear how the price is calculated. Most of the staff smoke. One can only hope they have strict hygiene regulations.

Nov 2025: I was here again today and had the standard doner kebab. I have to say, I preferred the vegetable doner. The hot sauce could be spicier. If you're really hungry, you should definitely get the jumbo doner. That thing is huge! The pide with sucuk, egg, and spinach is very good. ===== I had the vegetable doner. It wasn't the Berlin style with chicken and cheese/lemon, but I enjoyed it. So far, it's my favorite in the area. The price is right.

I ended up here on the recommendation of a good friend and drove 9.5km here especially. I ordered the doner kebab menu for €11. This includes the classic doner kebab, some fries 🍟, and a soft drink of your choice. Since I was here on a Saturday evening, it was busy, but there was a chance to sit in a free spot. Finding a free parking space, however, proved very difficult. Factor in the time it takes to find a parking space. I ordered my doner kebab without onions and garlic sauce and received it exactly as ordered. This doner kebab is one of the best kebabs 🥙 I've ever tasted, and I say that as a former Turkish citizen. My only criticism: Cash only. In 2023 and after the pandemic, contactless payment should be the norm.

The doner kebab plate with rice and fried vegetables is absolutely legendary. The ratio of carbohydrates, fiber, and protein is ideal. The doner meat is top-quality and flavorful, unlike many other rotisserie kebab shops. The staff is always friendly, and everything is clean. I've been eating here for many years and have never been disappointed.

Great, keep it up. 2024: Almost exactly four years after my first post, the doner is still delicious, and almost everything is the same, except for the price, which is now 7.00 instead of 4.50. That's pretty steep, but that's how it is these days. Today the doner was once again delicious. The service was a bit grumpy today, but that's everyone's experience sometimes; for the most part, everyone is nice and friendly.

The team is strong. Everyone knows intuitively what to do, which is a medium challenge in such a small area as a team of 4 or 5. The kebab bread pockets, the Dürüm Lavaş and Lahmacun are baked in the in-house oven, very tasty and exceptionally large. The meat skewers are 2 veal and 1 chicken I would say. Why so many skewers? Because they apparently get eaten away during the day 😀 The guys are friendly, competent and the service is simply first class. I actually only write reviews in stores that I am convinced of. If you are looking for a delicious Döner or even just a quick good bite, this is the place. The bread is made fresh and the portions are perfect. Prices are very fair and they are super friendly. I have visited quite a few Döner places - even in Berlin (known as the birth place of the Döner), but this one is just the right place. You will not regret it!

City Kebap Haus is always full during peak times, which speaks for itself. There are many classic meat dishes but also many vegetarian ones. Despite the hectic pace, always friendly and every request is catered for.

I went because of the top rating. And was partly disappointed. First the good: the amount of meat you get here and therefore the size of the kebab is now extraordinary. The sauce is tasty, but relatively little, the salad is okay. The taste is debatable, I found the meat unusually limp and not very tasty. However, the service works quickly, I had my kebab in less than 5 minutes. The hot spice we ordered was forgotten. Conclusion: Will look for other (albeit smaller) kebabs, but not more City Kebab.😕

We have tried a lot of kebabs and are very picky when it comes to meat. Still, we have to say that City Döner's kebabs are some of the best we've ever tasted. Although it is a snack bar, it is not particularly convenient for families to eat on site. The staff is always polite and in a good mood.

Sehr gutes Essen. Fleisch war echt gut. Auch die Portionen sind anständig. Der Service ist auch gut, man wird freundlich begrüßt und das Personal ist gut gelaunt. Man kann hier auch angenehm sitzen und sein Essen genießen. Preis-Leistung passt hier auch und die Preise sind angemessen.
