Fathers Korean Restaurant in Schwalbach am Taunus

We went here for the birthday of my husband. We had a very nice Korean Hot Pot Dish with Pork Bones, spicy squid, fried Chicken with Chili Sauce and Seafood Pancakes. The food was super delicious und the service was very friendly. This Restaurant is great for Korean homestyle cooking.

Although it has changed owners, it is still delicious.

Beer, jjambbong soup, seasoned chicken... I think it's the best choice for a Korean restaurant in the middle of Germany.

Authentic Korean food, lunch menu varies ~15eur, quality and quantity are good.. all in all a solid 4 out of 5 stars

Recommend the potato spine soup and fried chicken. When the store gets busy, the waiter will be a little confused. There are many Koreans in the store, especially at night, so you may have to wait for a while. Generally speaking, it is suitable for eating in a canteen.

Gamjatang, green onion chicken, and cheese pork cutlet are delicious.

Grilled pork belly with kimchi and bean sprouts is excellent. It's the best food I've had on a business trip to Frankfurt!!@@

I hope you leave it as focused on facts as possible. Would we go this far if you made a sincere apology? How dare we leave a review without receiving a refund?

There are only a few small strands of squid in stir-fried squid. It doesn't taste as good as before. It seems like they are saving on materials.. Everything you see in the picture is vegetables.

Well-kept restaurant with authentic Korean food, friendly atmosphere and easy parking. I had ordered Jjambbongtang (spicy seafood soup) and Haemulpajeon (seafood pancakes) and both dishes tasted very good. The soup for two included fresh seafood, meat and vegetables. Kimchi was authentically prepared with chili from Korea and tasted good. Very friendly staff. Me and my mom, who has very high expectations for Korean food, were completely satisfied and are looking forward to the next visit.

I like bone gamjatang and soy sauce chicken.

The pork cutlet is thick and crispy. (I wish there was more sauce) Gamjatang is spicy and spicy and the portion is very generous. The basic side dishes are delicious and the owner and employees are friendly. It's a bit far from the city, but it's so delicious that I'll 100% come back again in the future!

I had beef soup and rice at Father's in Schwalbach, Germany for lunch today, and the addition of bean sprouts was really delicious! The soup was deep and the beef and bean sprouts went well together. Completely satisfied! Be sure to go!😊

It's a restaurant that's always delicious, friendly, and always makes me feel good when I go there. Every time I miss Korea, I run 40 km.

Gamjatang and cheese pork cutlet are the best.

I really like the korean fried chickens in a variety of sauces and the korean schnitzels here. They taste really good and are worth trying!

Korean food with less good taste

The last time I went and ate it, it was no exaggeration to say that it was the most authentic Korean food I had in Germany. The first time I went there for a company dinner, but this time I plan to go again with my friends. My personal recommendations are Gamjatang and Chicken Gizzard. Although it has only recently opened, I believe that more customers will come as time goes by. If you want to eat Korean food in Germany, I highly recommend Father’s in Schwalbach!

The crispy chicken and spicy and sour green onion salad were the best. Gamjatang was spicy and delicious. Stir-fried octopus had the biggest octopus I've ever seen in Germany. The spicy pig's feet were also excellent. It’s been a while since I ate Korean food in a comfortable atmosphere. I felt relaxed and it felt good.

The owner was very kind, and I especially enjoyed the bone haejangguk and pork cutlet. I'll come again next time

This is Jjamppong! Haha. I usually eat spicy Jjamppong rice, but recently I ordered Sundae Gukbap, but they said they were out of Sundae, so they gave me pork gukbap. There was so much meat that my stomach almost exploded from eating it all😅 It was delicious without any fuss. I often go there for office workers' lunch because the taste and price are good. You can also use the parking lot across the street for free for 2 hours while you eat, so it's easy to get around by car.👍🏻 The lady boss was friendly, and although the foreign servers couldn't speak Korean, it wasn't much of an inconvenience. Haha. But at Father’s, I was so busy eating the food as soon as it came out that I didn’t take any pictures🥲

I just remember that the table was stickier than anything else. I asked them to clean it again, but the wooden lacquer was peeling off, so they didn't clean it, saying that was the original condition. In fact, it wasn't even cleaned well. Whatever the reason, I felt uncomfortable the whole time I was eating. I think it would be better to re-paint the lacquer or cover the table with a cloth. I came here on purpose because I remember eating delicious food a long time ago, but personally, I was a little disappointed because it wasn't as good as before.

Gamjatang is really delicious. 👍 I was there until the deadline, but it was my first time seeing such a free deadline in Germany. If it were closer to home, I would go there often. May you prosper!

Sehr gutes Essen, ich war echt überrascht. Original koreanisch essen. Mittags kann es schon voll werden, denn das Essen kommt sehr schnell und Tee ist inklusive. Etwas unscheinbar von außen innen angenehm und freundlich!

A good Korean restaurant if you are looking for some authentic Korean stlye. There are some special food you can order in advance sometimes.

언제나 친절하고 일정한 맛이 늘 유지되는 곳입니다. 곁들여 나오는 반찬이 정갈하고 신선하며 특히 양념치킨이 맛있어요. 주차는 길 건너편 공영주차장을 이용할 수 있어요.

독일에서 한번도 한식으로 성공한 적이 없는 것 같아요 아쉬운 맛 그러나 독일에서는 찾아보기 어렵다보니 ~ 오징어 볶음은 한국식 오징어볶음을 생각하면 절대 안될 듯 하고, 차라리 제육 볶음이 좀 나을 것 같네요 국밥이 더 나아요 치킨은 시간이 좀 필요해요 조리시간 약 20분 그래도 외국에서 한식을 즐기는 것 자체로 만족하며 한끼 뚝딱 ~ 감사히 먹었습니다 😀😃😄😁🙂🙃😀

Dieses Restaurant hat mich kolossal vom Hocker gehauen. Das Essen eine 10/10 Das Ambiente eine 10/10 Aber besonders gefallen hat mir die nette Kellnerin! So aufmerksam und freundlich wurde ich noch nie bedient! Der Service ist eine ungeschlagene 100/10 Um es auf den Punkt zu bringen, dieses Lokal überzeugt mit seiner Herzlichkeit, Authentizität und dem liebevollen Service!

Sehr, sehr leckeres Korean Fried Chicken zu einem sehr fairen preis. Korean Chicken und Bulgogi sind hier bisher die besten im Mtk. Sehr gerne wieder und wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Ich esse sehr gerne hier, die Qualität passt, die Auswahl ist gut. Die Einrichtung ist wie für ein koreanisches Restaurant über (aufs Minimum reduziert:-) Ich bin immer gerne hier, wenn ich in der Nähe bin....

Ich war zum ersten Mal dort, obwohl ich schon lange in Schwalbach wohne. Das Ambiente entspricht nicht so meinem Geschmack und es ist ziemlich laut. Aber mit dem Essen und dem Service war ich absolut zufrieden. Es muss ziemlich authentisch koreanisch sein, denn alle Tische waren fast ausschließlich mit Koreanern belegt.

Wahnsinns Essen, sehr lecker und authentisch. Zuvorkommender Service! Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Komme definitiv wieder 👍

음식이 매우 맛있음. 반찬 양이 다른 레스토랑보다 많고 삼겹살, 매운족발, 마늘 치킨 시켰는데 다 맛있었음. 그리고 매우 친절하게 서빙 해주셨음.

메뉴들은 맛있었지만 김치를 제외한 반찬이 애매했습니다. 그래도 맛은 있어요.
