Incredibly delicious, and the price-performance ratio is more than good. I've been there several times, whether in the evening or at lunch, on the weekend or during the week, it's always been a highlight.

It's a disgrace to add €5 on Mother's Day. The food isn't that great either. The floor at the drinks station was completely sticky, and in some places under the table, too.

The quality has decreased during the Corona period and the prices have also been increased. Unfortunately no longer my top 1 Asian.

The food has a large selection, but the quality and taste are more of a snack bar level. For the price you only expect frozen and finished products. The organization of the restaurant is to be criticized. It would be wise to have a kind of reception where you are assigned a table depending on the number of people and at the same time you are registered as a guest for the buffet. You should then be able to pay at reception.

Before that restaurant was a great choice, but now they have increased their prices and become very rude. When I say rude, they look at you while you eat, how much you eat, drink, and they started adding a lot of salt to the food, as well as black beans in all cooked dishes, which causes flatulence, so you think you're full, but in fact you start getting cramps and constipation or intestinal problems, vomiting, etc. I hope for a quick reaction from the competent institutions and inspectors without any announcement! Their space is tidy to the eye, but the kitchen, bar, and toilet need to be locked with the key, as well as the service of the waitresses, who are always in a bad mood, scowling, terrible.

Very large restaurant and very nice staff. I find a very good selection at the buffet and there is a play area for smaller children. You feel very comfortable in the restaurant. The food is actually replenished quickly. The only thing is, there is no label on the sushi but that's complaining at a high level. We always enjoy coming back.

2 children €18 each and 2 adults €30 each but everyone was full. Drinks included. For the kids it's nothing for the price :) Large selection of salads, warm dishes and desserts at the buffet and also a grill station. Very cool. Unfortunately the soup was empty very quickly and was not remade. The floor in the restaurant at the tables was a bit slippery but otherwise the ambience and cleanliness was very good. The used plates were cleared away quickly and the staff was very friendly. The entrance area could be pimped up again. One has the feeling that the Chinese building is falling apart. An attempt was certainly made to create a certain Asian ambience, but unfortunately you cannot create a restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere out of a high hall! Lots of seats, tables, rooms... The staff is really very friendly, hardworking, always clearing and refilling dishes... Let's get to the food and drink: long different buffets, large refrigerators filled with many different drinks! Starters, warm main courses, cold ingredients for the grill where an employee roasts them fresh, desserts cold and warm... The quality of the products was really good and fresh! Unfortunately, the warm main courses that had already been prepared at the buffet were all lukewarm, the freshly grilled products (meat, fish, shrimp... vegetables) were hot in our case, but unfortunately fried to death when they were brought to the table! It's a shame, because the good quality of the products would have deserved a more loving preparation! The various types of desserts were all ok! Conclusion: Price - performance is right, ambience takes getting used to, staff great, quality of food products high, selection of drinks excellent. Cleanliness issue: Toilet rooms are not necessarily inviting and appealing, but the biggest point of criticism was, at least in our presence, the completely sticky floor in the buffet and refrigerator areas! To be honest, that was very unpleasant and you didn't want to continue spinning the thread! Conclusion: If you want to fill your stomach with a variety of food and drinks, and if you don't mind the indoor feeling, you should definitely feel at home here and come back!

Additionally, I found a black hair in my food, which is an absolute no-go for me. Hygiene and good service are crucial, and unfortunately your restaurant failed on both counts. Given this experience, I will prefer other restaurants in the future that value hospitality and cleanliness.

Leider war unser Besuch in Ihrem Restaurant nicht besonders angenehm. Die Bedienung, eine Asiatin mit schulterlangem Haar, war beim Abräumen der Teller äußerst unfreundlich. Sie wirkte nervös und forderte mein Sohn auf, aufzustehen, da sie sonst nicht ans Geschirr gelangen könne – eine unhöfliche und unangemessene Art, mit Gästen umzugehen. Zusätzlich haben wir ein schwarzes Haar in den Speisen gefunden, was die Erfahrung noch unangenehmer machte. Hygiene sollte in einem Restaurant oberste Priorität haben. Angesichts dieser Erfahrung werde ich künftig andere Restaurants bevorzugen, in denen Gastfreundschaft und Sauberkeit großgeschrieben werden.

That's why there is no star deduction if guests should be more careful when pouring. Price-performance cannot be beaten!

I was in this restaurant yesterday and was unfortunately very disappointed. The toilets were in an extremely dirty condition: there was no toilet paper, no paper towels, and overall hygiene left a lot to be desired. When the sanitary facilities are so neglected, you wonder what the kitchen looks like. The service was also disappointing. If I could, I wouldn't even give it one star. We were there and the whole toilet was dirty. It was worse than a rest stop. Vomit, clogged toilets. When I think about the Christmas Eve review, it confirms the case that the vomit in the toilet was older and therefore wasn't cleaned properly. The quality of the food left something to be desired. It had been standing for a long time and dried out. A lot of dirt around the buffet. When we paid, we pointed out to the waitress that the toilet was very dirty, but unfortunately that didn't go down well and she just said "OK" in a bit of annoyance. Well... we've eaten here many times, but we've eaten much better here. Some of the meat tasted rancid (old fat?), there were bones in the breaded fish, we got the fresh meat plate back with ingredients that we hadn't put on it and all in all the price went up significantly (it would have been ok if the quality had remained the same ), dishes also left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. We were here to eat today, unfortunately we discovered that all the plates, cutlery and glasses were simply DIRTY. This restaurant has nothing to do with a good all you can eat restaurant! Dishes that are given away for frying are simply not brought back. The ice cream counter is a huge virus stronghold. Large selection of different Asian dishes. For people who don't like Asian, you'll still find something here with fries, chicken nuggets, breaded fish and chicken wings. There is also a nice selection of salads, as well as dessert. Only the sushi has a large selection, but it's not that tasty; I had gotten better from REWE. We come here again and again and everyone gets their AllYouCanEat quota.

I think it's absolutely right!!!! The staff is always friendly. We go there every year for larger celebrations because it's just great. What bothers me personally, but I still go...the high ceiling and therefore the noise. If you want cozy peace and quiet while eating, this is the wrong place for you. But otherwise highly recommended and we will still come back again and again because everything else is TOP!!!

We were at Taipan in Mering on Saturday. When we entered the restaurant we noticed that the carpet was not clean. In addition, many of the employees were without work clothes or uniforms and looked as if they had come straight from a construction site. We chose a table and sat down, but it was completely dirty. When the waitress came she seemed disrespectful and rude. She cheekily said that we shouldn't sit at that table because it was reserved. In such a case, you could either block the table or put up a reservation sign instead of reprimanding the guests afterwards. In addition, even if customers are not royalty, you should at least treat them with a certain amount of respect. The food was also disappointing - everything tasted like a deep fryer. It seems like fish, meat and vegetables are cooked in the same deep fryer. That was definitely my last visit to Taipan. I also wanted to have a coffee, but there was a big sign that said “coffee machine broken.” An employee said the coffee machine wouldn't be repaired until next week. Really everything tasted the same - whether fish, vegetables or baked dishes - everything had the same taste. And the waitress charged my three-year-old son €6.50 even though he didn't even eat a spoonful. He just tried a bit of chocolate with the fruit and said it didn't taste good.

Only dishes (e.g. baked pasta) that are eaten often are freshly cooked. Most of the buffet tasted old, dry and spongy. Desserts partly lukewarm/warm. This resulted in everything being softened and melted with chocolate. Cream puffs with cream filling were therefore inedible. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not seem hygienic. The toilets were a disaster, the floor stuck everywhere, some cutlery wasn't clean, the buffet signs were dirty. Price per person - just under €30 for food and drink is fine, but NOT for this service. After this experience, unfortunately not recommended.

I went to this restaurant with great anticipation with my partner and we were bitterly disappointed. The olives tasted like licorice, the sauce wasn't outstanding and I ate that too because of course you don't want to pay any fees for not eating it, as the price for this offer is already outrageously high. The dessert was OK. Nothing special but not as bad as the main courses on offer. The way the food was there, we asked ourselves whether it could have come from the day before... fresh and crunchy is definitely different. We paid just under €60 for two people. I'm happy to pay that price, but I definitely won't pay that price if the food is inedible. I will never visit this restaurant again and would advise against anyone who is thinking about eating there. For the money I would have eaten better somewhere else, would have been full and not been so disgusted. Never again.

Phew, difficult! I've been there many times, I used to think it was great! Today we were shocked, there were four of us there and we were actually looking forward to the buffet. The friendly service was positive! And the wide selection of food, also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Another positive feature is the extensive selection of drinks. What wasn't so nice was that the food was only lukewarm, and unfortunately some things tasted stale, such as the donuts from the fridge. The meat didn't smell as good either :(! There were flies flying around in the cover, so we didn't want to eat any more fish! And yes the toilets didn't look that great either!

I have been to their restaurant many times and have always been satisfied. Today I went to dinner with my wife and friends. The service was very accommodating. There was a large selection of food. Here you can choose between different types of meat and fish as well as lots of vegetables which are then freshly prepared, there is also sushi and of course many Chinese dishes. Everything tastes very good. A good selection of fruit and dessert. I'd love to come back.

Four of us, regular visitors to Taipan for over 10 years, were there on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 in the evening with a table reservation (when there was moderate activity, which surprised me) and at the end at 10 p.m. we were literally thrown out with the reference to one maximum length of stay. At this point there was a lot of space, our offer to pay for the drinks we had consumed was first "not understood" and then it became unfriendly, so we left quite quickly - NEVER AGAIN! (In Olching and Germering there are alternatives that are even closer) I have to say in advance that I drank two Spezi throughout the evening, and our table behaved like normal guests (i.e. not taking 20 shrimps, then eating one and then putting the plate aside or something like that). After just under an hour we were completely full and didn't get anything else. At this point there were a few tables free, so we wouldn't have blocked any waiting guests (no one was waiting). Since we haven't seen each other in a while, we wanted to chat a little bit. When I wanted to get a beer at 10 p.m., things got ugly pretty quickly. According to the opening times, the shop is open until 11 p.m., but from 9:30 p.m. the guests were already being charged with the information that there were problems with the cash register. And I thought that there were clear laws for this (keyword: shop closing times). Why 3 stars for the ambience: During our visit, the plates from the tables were cleared away regularly, but the staff then piled them up on various trolleys near the tables and temporarily stored them; really not very appetizing. I couldn't find a glass without washing up stains and I once had a plate in my hand at the buffet with dried food residue from the dishwasher (sure, it can happen). The plates with the raw ingredients for the Mongolian grill came back wildly mixed up, which I thought was e.g. B. allergy sufferers find it borderline. I eat e.g. B. no mushrooms, but I found 2x mushrooms on the finished plate. In terms of taste, everything I tried was good, but at the buffet itself you could have used a wiping cloth (sauce blobs, etc.). Conclusion: Taipan Mering has seen me for the last time. If things continue like this with the restaurant, my view is black. I wish back to the days when the restaurant wasn't an all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet. Now the restaurant attracts a lot of free beer drinks and with each visit you could see a further decline in quality in all areas. My advice: It's better to go to Olching to the King's Garden or to Germering to the Restaurant Hu, where the customer is still valued.
