I didn't expect much but I was really disappointed even more. Food tastes boring and the quality is really subpar. For 28€ per person 🤢

The selection of food is huge, everyone will find something! I would like to mention this straight away: If you fill your plate out of sheer greed and give a lot back, you pay an extra 5 euros. I think it's absolutely right!!!! The staff is always friendly. We go there every year for larger celebrations because it's just great. What bothers me personally, but I still go...the high ceiling and therefore the noise. If you want cozy peace and quiet while eating, this is the wrong place for you. But otherwise highly recommended and we will still come back again and again because everything else is TOP!!!

You have to make a reservation and then off you go, there are so many varied dishes on the buffet from sweet to salty, from warm to cold, from fruit to vegetables and from rice, pasta and potatoes to meat - everything is fantastic It tasted good and was fresh, you have to pay a fixed price and can eat and drink as much as you want, I really liked it here, always happy to do so, I can warmly recommend it to you, for me it is the best buffet I have ever had I know, you have to try it yourself to understand what I mean, so I wish you a good appetite and enjoy it

We were at Taipan in Mering on Saturday. When we entered the restaurant we noticed that the carpet was not clean. In addition, many of the employees were without work clothes or uniforms and looked as if they had come straight from a construction site. We chose a table and sat down, but it was completely dirty. When the waitress came she seemed disrespectful and rude. She cheekily said that we shouldn't sit at that table because it was reserved. In such a case, you could either block the table or put up a reservation sign instead of reprimanding the guests afterwards. In addition, even if customers are not royalty, you should at least treat them with a certain amount of respect. The food was also disappointing - everything tasted like a deep fryer. It seems like fish, meat and vegetables are cooked in the same deep fryer. That was definitely my last visit to Taipan. I also wanted to have a coffee, but there was a big sign that said “coffee machine broken.” An employee said the coffee machine wouldn't be repaired until next week. Really everything tasted the same - whether fish, vegetables or baked dishes - everything had the same taste. And the waitress charged my three-year-old son €6.50 even though he didn't even eat a spoonful. He just tried a bit of chocolate with the fruit and said it didn't taste good.

Very extensive selection at the buffet at a budget price, all you can eat & drink for little money. We tried this restaurant today and will definitely come back regularly.

Only dishes (e.g. baked pasta) that are eaten often are freshly cooked. Most of the buffet tasted old, dry and spongy. Desserts partly lukewarm/warm. This resulted in everything being softened and melted with chocolate. Cream puffs with cream filling were therefore inedible. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not seem hygienic. The toilets were a disaster, the floor stuck everywhere, some cutlery wasn't clean, the buffet signs were dirty. Price per person - just under €30 for food and drink is fine, but NOT for this service. After this experience, unfortunately not recommended.

I went to this restaurant with great anticipation with my partner and we were bitterly disappointed. In short: inedible food, dirty cutlery and plates, too expensive, toilets are unreasonable, food looks old and rancid. More detailed: The plates didn't seem really clean, nor did the cutlery. We also found that the glasses didn't seem really clean. We were also put off by the chopsticks that were provided. These are made of wood and therefore look more than just worn out. Dark stains, some had been chewed on and they generally just looked dirty. The signage of the food that is offered there also leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the food was okay, some of it was inedible. The fried noodles were acceptable, the fried rice was rock hard. I can only advise against potatoes and fries. They were either lukewarm and hard or mushy. So overall it's just not edible and then you have to pay fees if you don't eat it? So we shoveled the inedible stuff in because the price for this "service" is already a complete disgrace. A lot of the fried things had a similar taste, greasy and covered in a lot of lemon juice. Nothing had its own unique taste, probably because everything was fried in the same fat. Some of the fat tasted rancid. I guess that's where the idea of ​​coating the food with a large amount of lemon juice came from. So while I switched to salad because the rest was simply inedible and I had lost my appetite, I also realized that it just didn't taste good. It's a mystery to me that you can fail so badly with a simple salad buffet. No crunchy carrots, salads, ... The olives tasted like licorice, the sauce wasn't outstanding and I ate that too because of course you don't want to pay any fees for not eating it, as the price for this offer is already outrageously high. The dessert was OK. Nothing special but not as bad as the main courses on offer. The way the food was there, we asked ourselves whether it could have come from the day before... fresh and crunchy is definitely different. We paid just under €60 for two people. I'm happy to pay that price, but I definitely won't pay that price if the food is inedible. I will never visit this restaurant again and would advise against anyone who is thinking about eating there. For the money I would have eaten better somewhere else, would have been full and not been so disgusted. Never again.

Good all you can eat buffet at a relatively reasonable price

I have been to their restaurant many times and have always been satisfied. Today I went to dinner with my wife and friends. The service was very accommodating. There was a large selection of food. Unfortunately there were problems with the flies. I would be happy if it were possible to cover the food (fruit and meat) and make sure that no flies get on the food. Thank you very much ☺️

Phew, difficult! I've been there many times, I used to think it was great! Today we were shocked, there were four of us there and we were actually looking forward to the buffet. The friendly service was positive! And the wide selection of food, also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Another positive feature is the extensive selection of drinks. What wasn't so nice was that the food was only lukewarm, and unfortunately some things tasted stale, such as the donuts from the fridge. The meat didn't smell as good either :(! There were flies flying around in the cover, so we didn't want to eat any more fish! And yes the toilets didn't look that great either!

Yesterday we ate at Taipan again for a long time. The buffet was very good and a large selection of food. The Mongolian grill was very good this time. The meat and fish were grilled very well. The only drawback was the ice chest. Some of the ice had already melted. Hence 1 star deduction. Otherwise absolutely recommended.

The food was spoiled, the fish smelled so bad, when I asked the waitress about it, she acted like I was imagining it. But after 2 minutes I swapped the plate with the shrimp! My husband lost his appetite and didn't take anything from the buffet. Then we stopped eating! There was no discount, not even an apology! And we paid for 6 people but no one ate anything, we went home hungry! For us it was the last visit! And the cleanliness of the toilets is also a complete disaster! Toilet at the train station is cleaner than in this restaurant!

You can do all you can eat, but you should be aware that you are not alone. That's why the noise level is very high. The food was varied and it was always replenished. What I personally didn't like was that the floor stuck...extremely. On the whole it was ok, you can eat as much as you want (or manage) for €30 per person.

The local was a big disappointment. Some of the food tasted spoiled, the hygiene left a lot to be desired (especially in the bathroom but also in the restaurant itself) and all the dishes had the same, monotonous taste. Here you can choose between different types of meat and fish as well as lots of vegetables which are then freshly prepared, there is also sushi and of course many Chinese dishes. Everything tastes very good. A good selection of fruit and dessert. I'd love to come back.

Staff understaffed, food not good at all for the price, a really expensive disappointment for 4 people

Four of us, regular visitors to Taipan for over 10 years, were there on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 in the evening with a table reservation (when there was moderate activity, which surprised me) and at the end at 10 p.m. we were literally thrown out with the reference to one maximum length of stay. At this point there was a lot of space, our offer to pay for the drinks we had consumed was first "not understood" and then it became unfriendly, so we left quite quickly - NEVER AGAIN! (In Olching and Germering there are alternatives that are even closer) I have to say in advance that I drank two Spezi throughout the evening, and our table behaved like normal guests (i.e. not taking 20 shrimps, then eating one and then putting the plate aside or something like that). After just under an hour we were completely full and didn't get anything else. At this point there were a few tables free, so we wouldn't have blocked any waiting guests (no one was waiting). Since we haven't seen each other in a while, we wanted to chat a little bit. When I wanted to get a beer at 10 p.m., things got ugly pretty quickly. According to the opening times, the shop is open until 11 p.m., but from 9:30 p.m. the guests were already being charged with the information that there were problems with the cash register. And I thought that there were clear laws for this (keyword: shop closing times). Why 3 stars for the ambience: During our visit, the plates from the tables were cleared away regularly, but the staff then piled them up on various trolleys near the tables and temporarily stored them; really not very appetizing. I couldn't find a glass without washing up stains and I once had a plate in my hand at the buffet with dried food residue from the dishwasher (sure, it can happen). The plates with the raw ingredients for the Mongolian grill came back wildly mixed up, which I thought was e.g. B. allergy sufferers find it borderline. I eat e.g. B. no mushrooms, but I found 2x mushrooms on the finished plate. In terms of taste, everything I tried was good, but at the buffet itself you could have used a wiping cloth (sauce blobs, etc.). Conclusion: Taipan Mering has seen me for the last time. If things continue like this with the restaurant, my view is black. I wish back to the days when the restaurant wasn't an all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet. Now the restaurant attracts a lot of free beer drinks and with each visit you could see a further decline in quality in all areas. My advice: It's better to go to Olching to the King's Garden or to Germering to the Restaurant Hu, where the customer is still valued.

Massive mold infestation and bugs in the toilets. When a toilet in a restaurant looks like this, I wonder whether the hygiene in the kitchen is really good. My feeling says no! Unfortunately, I can't really rate the food anymore because there's a permanent leech due to the toilet bath.

We went to Taipan again after a long time and we were completely satisfied. The extensive range of different dishes is almost unbeatable at this price. The Peking soup was simply great, I would have liked to take the whole bowl with me. But be careful - I'll definitely be back. We were already there again. Peking soup is still a poem. The sushi rice could have been more acidic, but the maki rice was unfortunately too mushy. But that's the only thing I have to complain about. My wife no longer wanted to go to the women's room after my experience in the men's room. Priced at €28.70 including 3 alcoholic drinks per person. (Beer, wine) not exactly a bargain during the week, but ok. Conclusion: I probably won't go there again.

No matter whether sushi, meat, finger food, desserts, salad, fruit or Asian specialties. There is something for everybody. Very tasty and reasonably priced, as drinks are also all you can drink. The meat is seared as desired. Nice staff and great food. There are also enough parking spaces

I found the staff really friendly and everything was always cleared away straight away. Unfortunately, the food was so over-seasoned with glutamate that I could hardly eat it. But food was always replenished and everything was always there. Price is really OK with drinks, just less glutamate would be good. We'll try again.

We had a voucher that we unfortunately couldn't redeem because we wanted to pay with an EC card or had to because we didn't have enough cash. The waitress said we can only charge cash. 😳incredible. There was no response to email.

Food was delicious, that was the only thing. After we made reservations for 15 people, there was only room for 14 people. After you got a chair you were almost thrown out of the chair by the waitress without a solution. We continued with the cleanliness, there were beans on the floor on the stairs from where we arrived until we left, and despite the waitress constantly passing by, it wasn't cleaned. The toilets also need to be cleaned during opening hours. It was totally disgusting, even the kids were disgusted. Who wants to stand in pee mixed with toilet paper and a clogged toilet that also smells very appetizing? Food that just came from the chef is simply cleared away. If you mention this you will be politely ignored. We came once and never again.

Very large restaurant with an Asian buffet. In the evening there are 2 large buffets with ready-made dishes, sushi, dumplings and much more. At the third buffet you can put together fresh vegetables, meat, fish and seafood and have them prepared on the grill with the desired sauce. The price is relatively high, but food and drink are completely included. It was all very tasty. Gladly again.

Price performance top! Here you will find a large selection of Asian dishes, all dishes were kept warm. Also had quite a large selection of sushi, in general the selection was huge. The price you pay is always with all you can drink, which is really great. On a Saturday lunchtime it was €20.90 for food and drink for an adult which is really good! You can also put together a plate yourself and have it freshly prepared, which will then be brought to the table. Parking is not a problem here either, there are actually a lot of free parking spaces. Can highly recommend it. Reservations are not necessarily necessary at midday

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal hier und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Essen war auf jeden Fall lecker, es wurde immer sehr schnell aufgefüllt und am Tisch wurden die leeren Teller sehr zügig abgeräumt. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Da wir aus dem Raum Donauwörth sind und immer wieder dort den Mongolen besucht haben, hatten wir nen guten Vergleich zu diesem hier. Auf jeden Fall um 100% besser. Lieber fahren wir etwas weiter aber bekommen was Gutes fürs Geld.

Ich komme schon viele Jahre in dieses Restaurant und war immer hoch zufrieden. Seit das chinesische Servicepersonal nicht mehr da ist geht es nicht mehr so freundlich zu. Aber heute war auch das Essen miserabel, es war nicht warm (12 Uhr), die Teller eiskalt und fast alle warmen Speisen waren so versalzen, und waren so übergeführte mit Soja und Hoisinsauce, dass mein ganzer Mund entzündet war und mir schlecht wurde und ich nichts mehr essen konnte. Ich habe das dem Personal gesagt, von denen nur eine Deutsch spricht. Man hat sich entschuldigt und gesagt, der Koch wäre durcheinander, aber man hat mir keine Entschädigung angeboten. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht.

Food taugt schon slime. sprite war bisschen salzig. Nur leider durften wir nicht einchecken weil Orangensaft verschüttet wurde - turn up.

Sehr gutes "All you can eat" Buffet mit großer Auswahl. Alle Sachen wurden immer wieder nachgefüllt. Getränke waren auch im Preis inbegriffen.

Ich esse immer vom mongolischen Grill, daher immer frisch und heiß oder Sushi.

Eine Frechheit wenn man bei einer 600€ hohen Rechnung selber nach Schnaps fragen muss und dann keines bekommt. Jedes andere Restaurant (z.B. der Asia Sunshine) zeigt seine Dankbarkeit selber von sich aus. Nebenbei war ein Hund im Restaurant anwesend, was sehr unhygienisch und ein Grund für eine Meldung im Gesundheitsamt ist. Die Rechnung wurde auch falsch berechnet, konnte jedoch wieder geklärt werden.

Solides Buffet, Getränke sind Inklusive daher allerdings ergibt sich ein sehr hoher Preis !

Der Spielplatz ist Infekt. Ich denke es gibt genug Geld, um den Spielplatz ein wenig zu renovieren oder ihn zumindest zu reinigen. Wenn ich mit meinem Kind auf den Spielplatz gehe, verliere ich den ganzen Appetit

Wir waren zum aller ersten Mal bei diesem Asia Buffet, wo auch überraschenderweise alle Getränke mit inklusive sind. Wir waren von der Qualität der Speisen und Auswahl sehr positiv überrascht und vom Preis her inklusive aller Getränke wirklich zufrieden. Wir können daher dieses Restaurant sehr weiter empfehlen!

Große Auswahl an Speisen. Beim Buffet steht halt Quantität vor Qualität. All you can eat and drink wird angeboten. Menschen die viel essen und trinken wollen und dabei den Fokus nicht zu sehr auf Qualität legen, kommen hier gut auf ihre Kosten.

Edit: wieder ab 17:30 Uhr geöffnet Nicht verzehrte Speisen werden mit 5 Euro extra berechnet. Das ist sinnvoll, da einige Gäste hier ohne Ende aufladen und dann wird das nur wieder entsorgt. Weniger ist manchmal mehr... Das Essen an sich ist gut, allerdings darf ein angebotener Kuchen nicht mehr gefroren sein, wenn das Lokal schon 1 Stunde geöffnet ist.

Essen war gut ,Buffet wurde immer nachgefüllt, war sehr voll und laut, Toilette könnte man öfter sauber machen, liegt aber auch an den Gästen

All You can eat and drink. Zwar Selbstbedienung, aber gute Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl. Geschmacklich gut. Habe aber scharfe Gerichte vermisst.
