Restaurant Delphi in Mering

Unfortunately, the meat was extremely dry, and you have to order tzatziki separately. It was quite cold for all of us, so we had to go back to the kitchen. It's a shame for a Greek restaurant. They should improve this, and I'll lower my rating.

We paid around €50 for a plate for two, and there wasn't even a dollop of tzatziki included. We had to order it separately—and pay a lot! A rip-off, in my opinion! The meal itself was an insult to both the guest and Greek cuisine! The highlight was a poorly heated "gyro lump"! Obviously microwaved and from the day before, because it was completely clumped together (collagen), and no one in the kitchen had even bothered to break it up.

The food is simply abysmal. Very cheap meat, completely tasteless, the rice is bland and not good, and the souvlaki is a red mush, probably warmed-up canned tomatoes. The coleslaw is also probably store-bought and not homemade. Simply awful.

We got a seat outside on Wednesday evening without any problems. Drinks were brought quickly. But then no one felt responsible for ordering our food. After we waved to get our attention, we were able to order. In the very summery temperatures, our drinks ran out quickly. Unfortunately, the same thing happened: no one felt responsible. Here, too, we waved and called out again. There were guests next to us who arrived at the same time, and they couldn't order their drinks for half an hour. Sorry, but that's not acceptable. Later in the evening, a couple came to the next table; after 20 minutes, they got up and left because they hadn't been served. When we asked three times for the bill, the lady came over and apologized. It was August, and everything was a mess. Sorry, but what's the point? Oh yes, the food tasted good. I'd give it a 2. The prices are a bit high for Mering. My plate cost €20.50. But unfortunately, due to the lousy service, I'll never go back.

The food was delicious and the service very friendly, although it could have been a bit more attentive. The outdoor seating is very nice and quiet, which makes the experience particularly pleasant. The value for money is excellent, and overall, it's a highly recommended restaurant in Mering.

I don't really understand the positive reviews here. I've lived in Mering for over 10 years now, and my first visit was at the beginning of that time, and I didn't like the food even then. After that experience, I wanted to give the restaurant another chance, but the taste was really bad. I told the owner that I didn't like it, and he said he knows his staff doesn't always cook to a consistently high standard, and that he actually prefers to cook himself. He was understanding, and I give him credit for that, but for over €70 for two and a half people, I really expect more. I had the gyro in Metaxa cream sauce. There were pasta underneath. The sauce didn't taste of Metaxa, and there was no cream in it either. It was just a watery tomato sauce with pasta underneath. I've never seen a Greek restaurant that served pasta before. Ultimately, it was more of an Italian dish than a Greek one. My companions didn't like it either, which is a shame!

Wir gehen jetzt seit über 30 Jahren hier zum Essen. Bis auf kleine Schwankungen in den 90er Jahren immer gut. Wir werden auch die nächsten 30 Jahre kommen.😋

The food was delicious, but a bit small for the price. I made myself some more at home. But in these times, that could probably be blamed on the current or previous governments.

The food was truly excellent. The meat was also very tender and not too crispy. I especially want to highlight the souvlaki, one of the best I've had at a Greek restaurant so far. The service was also attentive, very friendly, and not at all intrusive. I would gladly return and would recommend it without hesitation.

We've been serving good, varied, and wholesome Greek cuisine for many years. A wide variety of side dishes are also available. A large selection of drinks, including specialties. We always enjoy stopping by Delphi.

Unfortunately the restaurant is not barrier-free, so we only picked up food. Nice beer garden but the best thing is the food. Very tasty and the potato salad and tzatziki are definitely homemade.

Today we didn't want to eat in the hotel with our group but somewhere else. I ordered number 82. Unfortunately, the portion is very small, so I didn't have to leave the restaurant full. The meat was also quite dry. I would have expected more for the price, which is very impressive for the portion size. Service was quite attentive and the ambience is nothing special but OK.

Meat was dry. Rice had a strange taste. Instead of tzatziki there was only tomato ketchup. Price for this meal is way too expensive.

We come there often and always get a place. The service and the boss are very nice and the food comes quickly. There are also dishes for children.

Food was tasty and prepared quickly. Unfortunately a bit expensive for the size of the portion. Service was great and the ambience was right, so unfortunately only four stars.

The restaurant is centrally located near the train station. When temperatures are mild, there is a spacious outdoor area with a few little things for children. A parking space is also available, although not for all guests. So if it is more crowded, you have to take the street or other alternatives. The restaurant has always been family-run and has a nice atmosphere. Not fancy or modern, but not run down either. What I personally don't like so much is the food. The portions are very manageable depending on the dish, but the prices are still reasonable. We ordered lunch a few times (both in-house and take-out) and the normal dishes from the menu in the evening, and always had the feeling that we weren't really full. This has never happened to me with a Greek. Personally, I don't like the tzatziki either because it tastes too strongly of garlic. But if you like that, you'll definitely get your money's worth. The service has always been friendly and quick. It is also positive that it is open on Mondays, while many other restaurants in the area are closed. Overall, I think the restaurant is okay to good, but it definitely won't become a favorite.

So we are very disappointed with the food and the service. We had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our food. It also has to be said that we wanted to order something to drink from time to time and each time we were told we would be there in a moment. But even then they only came to us after 1 1/2 hours. The food wasn't good either, the gyro meat was very dry and there wasn't even tzatziki with the meal. They weren't hospitable either and there wasn't even an explanation as to why so much went wrong. We won't go there for dinner anymore. But we can recommend the Greek restaurant in Kissing, very hospitable and delicious food.

Waren zu zweit und hatten das Schnitzel (Dienstag ist Schnitzeltag) und einmal gebackene Auberginen und den Tintenfischtelller mit Gyros und ne extra Portion Zaziki. Was soll ich sagen: Zaziki war ein Kleks auf nem kleinen Teller => 4,70€ 5 Scheiben Aubergine minimal in der Pfanne "gebacken" => 7,50€ Der Tintenfisch/Gyros Teller (siehe Bild) für knappe 20€. Das Gyros war leider schwach bis gar nicht gewürzt und es war eine Tube Tintenfisch auf dem Teller. Nur der Paprikareis war saftig und lecker.... Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich mit griechischem Akzent. Visa Zahlung ging problemlos. Aber insgesamt leider enttäuschend und maßlos überteuert :/ 2,5 von 5 Sterne

Guys, the food tastes very good and the employees are very polite and nice and the food comes warm and quickly. I don't know when you've been in Ingolstadt to come and eat in this restaurant and after eating you get something sweet

We enjoyed coming for many years but unfortunately it has been a disaster since the beginning of the year. Instead of tzatziki there is Balkan sauce from a bucket, coleslaw from a bucket, and you have to pay another €2.50 extra for a mixed salad. The gyro was soggy and the souflaki was far dry. The prices are sometimes higher than at very good Greek restaurants in Munich, a garlic bread 4 euros - seriously?! This costs 2.40 in Paros… You can tell that the senior is no longer in the kitchen. It's a shame, but an era is probably coming to an end. We won't come like this again.

Leider waren wir nicht zufrieden. Der Service und Freundlichkeit ist sehr gut, das Essen nichts besonderes und vor allem die Portionen sehr klein. Geschmacklich gibts auch noch Luft nach oben. Für ein Preisniveau ab 15,- Euro kann man mehr erwarten. Hoffe wenn wir wieder mal einkehren das es sich gebessert hat. Viele Grüße

Unbedingt zu empfehlen! Wir waren gestern hier speisen und sind restlos begeistert! Das Essen schmeckte vorzüglich! Der Service war unglaublich zuvorkommend! Wir saßen auf der Terrasse und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Danke für diese wundervolle Gastfreundschaft und für dieses köstliche Essen! Wir kommen definitiv wieder und raten jedem dort zu speisen!

Wir gehen immer wieder gern dort hin! Ein sehr netter Wirt mit typisch griechischer Gastfreundschaft (Ouzo als Geschenk des Hauses!), sehr nettes Ambiente und was uns sehr anspricht: Alle (wir waren 7 Personen) bekommen gleichzeitig ihr Essen! Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal!

Ein "normaler" Grieche mit nicht allzu großer Karte

Unser Lieblingsrestaurant in Mering. Tolles Ambiente, sehr nettes Personal und natürlich herrliches Essen.

Das Gyros war ok, aber der Service eine Katastrophe. 15 Minuten gesessen bevor man überhaupt wahrgenommen wurde. Dabei haben wir gefragt wo wir sitzen dürfen. Man wusste also, dass wir da sind. Getränke kamen nicht an. Obwohl gefragt wurde ob wir noch was wollen. Einfach schwach. Nie wieder!

Die Lammhaxe sehr lecker, Inhaber sehr freundlich, Karte könnte mehr Auswahl bieten, sonst guter solider Grieche essen ist gut.

Gezellige ambiance, authentieke Griekse gerechten geserveerd door bijzonder aardig personeel. Eten was erg lekker voor een meer dan schappelijke prijs. Zeker een bezoek waard!

Freundliche Bedienung und das Musaca (griechisches Gericht) war einfach wieder super lecker 😋. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn das so bleibt. Auch andere Gerichte wie der z.b Grillteller.... Kleinen Ausflug nach Griechenland 🇬🇷, dann bist du hier richtig.

Positiv: in der gesamten Karte sind die Allergene deutlich ausgezeichnet und es werden immer wieder Alternativen im Gericht geboten. Ansonsten: Das Essen schmeckt nicht besonders und die Portion sind überschaubar bis klein. Ein Vorfall, der mich den Service so schlecht bewerten lässt: das letzte Mal als ich dort war, hat der Kellner einen Eisbecher fallen gelassen, wobei die Hälfte davon auf meinem Kleid gelandet ist. Das ist zwar nicht schön, kann aber mal passieren. Was mich mehr gestört hat war, dass er sich gar nicht entschuldigt hatte und ich selber nach Servietten fragen musste. Ich habe ein paar Servietten für das gröbste benutzt und bin dann auf die Toilette gegangen, um den Rest raus zu wachsen. Als ich zurück kam, waren die übrigen Servietten schon wieder weg geräumt, aber an meinem Stuhl war noch Eis und Soße 😑

Wir haben den Geburtstag eines Kollegen gefeiert. Er ist dort Stammgast und hat eingeladen. Das Essen war mega lecker, nicht was nicht geschmeckt hat. Der Service auch absolut lieb und freundlich. Sehr gutes Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen

Ambiente etwas angestaubt, insgesamt aber schönes und sauberes Lokal. Die Teller (v.a. der Salat) waren etwas lieblos angerichtet. Portionen insgesamt für den Preis etwas klein. Sehr nettes Personal. Insgesamt eine angenehme Erfahrung mit ein wenig Luft nach oben.

Schwankend, die Qualität der Speisen, ist super oder schade um sie, dazwischen haben wir noch nichts erfahren. Letzter Besuch war ernüchternd, der davor toll. Letztes Mal waren 4 von 4 Gyros knochentrocken tot gegrillt, eine Fischkomposition teils teils. Aber: Sie haben gefragt, die unbefriedigende Antwort weitergeben und sehr zuvorkommend und professionell darauf reagiert und zwei der Gyros nicht berechnet. Auch wenn es voll war, über 40 Minuten auf drei Eis zu warten, ist lang. Vielleicht haben wir nächstes Mal wieder mehr Glück. Etwas mehr Konstanz würde ich euch wünschen. Neben einem Weinkonzept, welches ich euch gerne präsentieren würde, wünsche ich weiterhin viel Erfolg.

Das beste griechische Essen seit sehr langer Zeit Salat frisch Gyros genau richtig gegrillt Fleisch hervorragend Preis Leistung absolut empfehlenswert ps. Auch Fischgerichte paniert optimal selbst die Pommes-frites dazu genau richtig ein wahrer Genuss

Wir waren eine große Gruppe und wirklich jeder war mit dem Essen zufrieden. Die Auswahl von guten "Griechen" ist in unserer Gegend sehr klein - aber Gott sei Dank gibt es ja das Delphi.

Service war freundlich und wir bekamen noch einen Tisch, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten. Leider sagte mir das Essen nicht zu. Ich fand es zu sehr verbrannt. Mir wurde gesagt , dass es immer so wäre. Ich habe das ganze Verbrannte dann liegen lassen. Obwohl wir noch Cappuccino bestellt haben, habe ich für dieses verbrannte Essen nichts erhalten und ich musste den vollen Preis bezahlen.

Der Service war super und echt freundlich und hilfsbereit aber das Essen war für meinen Geschmack kaum gewürzt und die Vorspeise war traurig eine Scheibe souvlaki mit ein Stück Tomate und einer Scheibe Gurke sonst nix

Super freundlicher Service, Essen ist frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet. Lokal ist schon älter und Geräuschkulisse etwas lauter im hinteren Bereich. Aber die sehr nette Bewirtung lässt das einem gleich vergessen. Im Sommer kann man draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen, was natürlich sehr zu empfehlen ist. Auch mit Kindern ist man hier ein gerngesehener und willkommener Gast.

Sehr schöner Abend, Essen sehr gut, Atmosphäre super, Restaurant gut besucht trotzdem Essen zügig am Tisch immer wieder ist der Service da, so wie es sein soll "Aufmerksam" eben perfekt.

Nach dem Umbau gestern zum ersten Mal wieder im Delphi. Es schaut komplett anders aus, vor allem viel heller. Auf der Karte sind einige neue Gerichte. Das Essen war hervorragend und trotz viel Betrieb der Service aufmerksam und schnell.
