Absolutely disappointing – never again! The tone in this place is simply disrespectful. Instead of treating guests with a modicum of courtesy, decisions are made arbitrarily and unprofessionally. Customer service is abysmal, and empathy and fairness seem to be completely foreign concepts. I strongly advise everyone not to enter this place; there are enough restaurants that truly value their guests! And offer Aperol trees or truffle pasta.

The service is friendly and fast. The food falls short of expectations or is too expensive for what it's worth. You can try it. We won't be back.

After my girlfriend saw a lot of things about the place on Instagram and absolutely wanted to eat there, we tried it last night. From the outside, it looks like a nice place. The prices on the menu are high, but could certainly be justified. What immediately stands out: olives cost extra (which is okay), bread costs extra (?), and Parmesan cheese with the pasta costs extra (???). The service, Uriah, was nice and quick, but seemed unprofessional for the prices. There was no friendly greeting, and the service was generally rather quick. The food was unfortunately disappointing for me. The truffle pasta for €25 was, unfortunately, only mediocre for my taste. The portion size was manageable, the truffle flavor was present, but not particularly well-balanced. Although the food is usually very low in salt, it was clearly not seasoned enough for me. In the end, the cleanliness and the condition and smell of the restrooms were a no-go for me. It smelled very unpleasant, and the surfaces were very dirty/filthy. The faucet was hanging in a moldy hole in the sink. After seeing that, I took a closer look at other parts of the restaurant as I was leaving. Unfortunately, I noticed dirt on the tiles and in the corners there as well. It's a shame. We had hoped for more. But we won't be coming back.

The food was subpar and extremely overpriced. We tried three different pasta dishes, and I had the pistacio pasta with burrata. Please note that the burrata is 6€ on top of the 21€ for the dish, which is far too much considering they only cost 2-3€ and the dish was clearly made with the expectation you would buy it. The pasta was overcooked and mushy. The pistacio sauce was weirdly bitter, like it was burnt, and contained fragments of pistacio shell. Don't buy it if you have weak teeth. Overall it was interesting for a few bites, but the portion was enormous, likely to defend the high price, and I was gagging at the overbearing taste by the end. There was no salad to break the monotony of the bitter overcooked pasta dish, only a few pomegranate seeds. It needed at least 5 times as much pomegranate to make a real difference though. After our meal we were even more tired and in a hurry to get back to our hotel, so we missed that they added a 20% tip to our order without telling us, so be aware of that! It increased the price of my meal to 30€, without drinks, for something which shouldn't have cost more than 15€.

0 stars!!! Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. We had reserved a table and arrived about 15 minutes late due to parking problems and numerous road closures in downtown Hamburg. Contacting the restaurant by phone was impossible because the restaurant didn't provide a reachable phone number. We were then informed on site that our table had already been canceled – with the brief suggestion that we should please read the terms and conditions, which state a grace period of 10 minutes. No concession, no understanding of the real circumstances. The manager's reaction was cold and unfortunately seemed very arrogant. No trace of hospitality or any attempt to find a solution together. My family runs a restaurant ourselves, and I know many people who work in the industry – I've rarely encountered such an inflexible and unfriendly attitude. Especially disappointing in a restaurant in the heart of the city center, where you have to realistically expect delays. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant – anyone who shows so little understanding for guests should urgently reconsider their attitude towards the restaurant industry.

We had an Aperol with our meal and everything was great! The service was very friendly and the drinks were very special.

There were five of us there (three Gen Z, two Boomers). We're fans of Italian cuisine. By that measure, it was delicious, but the selection of appetizers, for example, was limited. The portions are very generous, which is surprising considering the predominantly female clientele. They specifically offered to take away leftovers. The Aperol pitchers or trees are a hit; they're instantly recognizable.

I wouldn't recommend it. €9.80 for a Wasserol Spritz (Aperol 5 / Wasser 95). Two places before, I had Aperol for €6, and it was noticeably more colorful. The food was okay. But not worth €13. Yes, I'm already a little drunk in the picture, but the color is very close to the whole thing. One of the worst Aperols in Hamburg. More show than substance. We had to wait 15 minutes for our order to be taken. The table that came after us already had drinks. The kitchen staff went to the bathroom with me and didn't wash their hands afterward. I wouldn't recommend it.

Customer proximity? Better not. Communication? Not even that. Service? Unfortunately, no. We had reserved a table and arrived 15 minutes late due to typical traffic delays. By then, our table had already been taken, with a note stating that reservations expire after 20 minutes. Interestingly, the clock seems to run a bit faster here – or they're flexible with their rules. When we tried to clarify this, the manager rather rudely informed us that this information "was included when we booked." We actually looked it up later – and yes, right at the bottom of the terms and conditions, in tiny print, was the clause about delays. For a customer-oriented restaurant, a clear, visible notice would certainly have been a better choice. Things got even more absurd when it came to availability: When we mentioned that we would have liked to call, the manager explained, quite seriously, that this wasn't possible because they were so busy and it was simply impossible to answer the phone. An interesting attitude in 2025. I mentioned that I come from the restaurant industry myself – and that we ALWAYS answer the phone there, no matter how busy the place is. Because guests who call usually have a good reason. For example, they're stuck in traffic, running late – or simply want to politely cancel. Bottom line: If you're looking for a place where customer service isn't a priority, the rules are flexible, and friendliness seems more or less optional, then this is the place for you. For everyone else: There are plenty of restaurants where you feel like a guest and not a nuisance.

We've been here for the third time now and were once again more than satisfied! :) A reservation is definitely recommended, especially on weekends. We found it annoying that the menu is only available online and then only via download. But that's probably just the spirit of the times ;) The food was exceptionally good, especially the use of Italian products, which gives the whole place a positive flair. The drinks are also more than plentiful, so absolutely fine for the price. The service here is great anyway, there's really nothing to complain about 😇 We'll definitely be back a fourth or fifth time.

Excellent food (especially the lasagna) and great service

Nice, small restaurant with delicious food and great drinks. I found one of the bar staff members difficult to deal with; she seemed so stressed and bad-tempered that it was hard to bear. Of course, that's human nature, but to then display it so blatantly (some employees seemed intimidated by her) is unprofessional.

Lovely staff and fantastic food! We came here on a friend's recommendation, and we both loved it. The prices were fair and the service friendly. I especially recommend the goat cheese starter. The limoncello and basil spritz was also very refreshing. We'll be back 😌

We have been to this restaurant about ten times. Today is definitely the last time. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior. We reserved a table for six people about eight weeks ago. During the process, a deposit of €120 was immediately requested. So far, so good. I understand that as a restaurateur you have to cover your costs. One person was unable to show up on time. Although we consumed food worth well over €200, only €100 of the deposit was credited because there was one person less than us. The restaurant was not full and the restaurateur definitely did not suffer any damages. Despite this, we were refused a full credit for the deposit. Instead, we were advised to take legal action if in doubt. This way everyone knows where they stand when they eat here. What a shame! The food is actually good, but the behavior is completely unacceptable. This was the last time we will be guests at this establishment.

We discovered you on Instagram a year ago and were so excited to come for dinner with you on our weekend trip (4 people). The food was incredibly delicious and the drinks fantastic. We ordered an aperitif tree with various drinks, first an aperitif with various dishes and then pasta for everyone. We wanted to enjoy a cozy evening. Unfortunately we were only allowed to stay for two hours, which ruined the whole evening. Especially at an Italian restaurant and with so many drinks, aperitif and main course, two hours is not enough! We would all have liked to order dessert, but we were told that we only had 15 minutes. So only one person ordered, the rest of us were still too full. We didn't even manage to finish all of the drinks, which we thought was a real shame. As I said, two hours is definitely too short for a cozy dinner with an aperitif at an Italian restaurant and we were really disappointed.

The food is delicious and the service is friendly. It's definitely worth a visit.

Bruschetta overpriced, Brusketta quite okay

Great little shop with truly authentic, delicious pasta. The food and drinks were brought to the table super quickly; they were fresh, hot, and delicious. One small thing was forgotten—but that can happen with such a rush. What I really like is that the dishes are marked when they're a bit salty. The only criticism I would have is that it was a bit noisy. But I'd gladly come back for this delicious pasta.

You could easily walk past it but I certainly wouldn't! Very nice restaurant and very tasty. As vegetarians we had a great evening here!

There was no excuse for how rude and dismissive the staff acted towards customers.

The very young waitress had no idea about Italian food ("Pecorino is cheese, right?") or the wines offered in the restaurant, but was very friendly. The wines were also very simple and bland for the price (approx. €10 for a 0.25). You have to be able to accept a Negroni with a Martini Rosso and three ice cubes. The pasta isn't homemade, the pasta carbonara is dry and—despite the menu's announcement—lacking in flavor (the pecorino I ordered with it at least helped with the seasoning), and the pasta with truffles was a bit drowned in sauce. Ultimately, it's more show than substance, but the food is also reasonably priced. Oh, the toilet described as broken in previous comments is either still there or has been replaced. And the seating/tables are very cramped and therefore uncomfortable, as well as loud. So, this won't be our restaurant...

I ate there with my mother today. The food was fantastic. We had the warm goat cheese, the cacio e pepe pasta, and the lasagna. The prices are typical for downtown Hamburg and completely to be expected. So why only two stars? We had my four-month-old baby with us, and when I asked where I could quickly change her diaper, I only received a snappy and annoyed answer. Now, you could say: Do you have to bring a baby with you? That's up for debate. I don't even expect there to be a diaper changing facility. The server politely apologized and wanted to ask her boss if I could change her diaper in the storage room, and she replied that it was absolutely impossible. What I'm concerned about is the way it was done. They could have simply told me, "No, unfortunately, we don't have that facility here," but instead, they just kind of brushed me off. I ended up changing the baby on the floor of the women's restroom. That's a shame. We had great food and were even able to take the rest with us.

The choice of food is not impressive, the prices are high. I ordered pasta, it was quite good. Aperitifs are great! They are served on a tree, and it looks fascinating.

We opted for the "drinks tree." Unfortunately, the experience was anything but convincing. The drinks were extremely watery and tasted disappointing. The tree also included three limoncello and three Frangelico shots. When we asked if we could swap the Frangelico, we were offered the option – but only if we wrote a good review in return. We find such behavior absolutely unacceptable. The location, unfortunately, also didn't score highly: You sit outside right next to a street, making it noisy and uninviting. During our visit, a beggar wandered among the tables asking for food. An unpleasant sewage smell pervaded the area repeatedly. Due to these circumstances, we ultimately decided against eating there. Overall, a disappointing visit – neither the drinks nor the ambiance were convincing, and trying to "buy" good reviews is completely unacceptable.

The truffle pasta was the best I've ever eaten, and I've tried a lot;)) The service was very friendly, quick, and courteous. The drinks and bruschetta were also very tasty. I didn't like the ambiance inside; we sat outside, which is quite nice, albeit on a side street. Reservations are absolutely necessary, as it's a small restaurant. Prices are very high, but it's worth it.

We were in Hamburg over Pentecost and stopped by spontaneously. Unfortunately, we were only able to get a table outside. We had the pasta with Gorgonzola and the pizza pesto and each drank an Aperol – which they offered in various varieties. With a 10% tip, we paid €70. The food was incredibly delicious, but I found it quite expensive. I googled the recipe first – it's cheaper 😅 I'd come back for the truffle pasta. The service was super friendly. I can't comment on the interior; I only went in to pay.

This is a truly amazing place! I've rarely eaten such good pasta. The prices are on the higher end, but the service and quality of the food are first-class. The truffle pasta and the spaghetti with pistachio pesto (don't forget the burrata!) have never tasted such good food. For dessert, I recommend the Secret Espresso ;) We'll be back.

Best truffle pasta and delicious Aperol breakfast 🥰

The food and location are excellent. We had burrata fresca for our starter, which was elegantly served with dry ice and tasted absolutely delicious with the bread and fruit. Following that, we had pasta carbonara, where everything was perfectly balanced and authentic, with all the trimmings. I do see the wait between courses as an improvement, but otherwise, it's excellent. The portions are also perfectly adequate. We'll definitely be back. Update: We were there again, and this time everything went incredibly quickly. We were able to get a seat even though we were late for our reservation.

Business contact with the owner of Tagliere e Vino. We supplied and installed furnishings and throughout the entire project, we came to know and appreciate the owner as a very straightforward, correct, and pleasant business partner.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't tasty. The pasta carbonara was terrible and not authentic. The only good thing was the pasta verde. Some of the drinks were just bitter and undrinkable. Don't be fooled by the good looks; it's unfortunately not worth it. In the end, some people wanted their food wrapped up, and the waitress placed a plate with the bottom on top of the pasta, so that no one wanted or could eat it.

I went there for the first time today based on a recommendation. The staff impressed me. Very nice young ladies, super competent and friendly in conversation, and the service was also excellent. The welcome was especially warm. I'd love to come back.

Wir hatten für 8 Personen zwei Tische reserviert. Leider hatten wir das Problem, dass wir ursprünglich einen Tisch für 8 Personen reservieren wollten, dann aber eine Anzahlung von 160€ leisten mussten. Das fanden wir schon sehr überzogen. Daher zwei 4er-Tische. Dort angekommen, waren die Bedienungen leider sehr unflexibel. Wir fragten, ob es möglich sei, dass wir zusammensitzen könnten. Aus Prinzip sagten sie gleich, dass wir dann hätten direkt für 8 Personen hätten reservieren müssen. Obwohl ein Tisch bei einem Teil unserer Gruppe frei war, war es nicht möglich, dass wir uns zusammensetzen konnten. Es kam eine weitere 4er Gruppe, die dann genau dort platziert wurde. Auch hier war es auf Anfrage nicht möglich, dass wir den Tisch hätten vorher tauschen können. Uns kam es so vor, dass hier aus Prinzip kein Entgegenkommen möglich war. Wir sind dann leider gegangen. In der Gastro könnte man ein wenig mehr Flexibilität erwarten. Als wir gegangen sind, wurde die Reservierung wortlos storniert. Ich finde, dass das bei einen Restaurant, was auch nicht gerade als günstig bezeichnet werden kann und sich im höheren Preissegment befindet, gar nicht geht...

Nice restaurant in downtown Hamburg. Tables are reserved for two hours, after which you should be ready. The menu can be accessed via a QR code. The prices are very high. Drinks and food arrive promptly. The food is of very good quality and can be taken away if you can't make it. The food is served in deep bronze plates. The only downside was the restrooms, as they were dirty, had a strange smell, and the faucet was hanging loose in a hole. You can only pay by card.

Always a safe bet, super friendly team and besides the food they also serve very nice drinks!

We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before the musical. It was fully booked. We asked for food to go so we could eat it in the car and bought two pasta dishes for almost €40. We didn't get any forks. When we asked, no one could help us and we were initially asked to leave without forks. Suddenly there was a free table outside. They hadn't offered one because it was "raining." When I confronted the lady, she said "my tone" was inappropriate. Whenever someone makes a mistake, they use it as an argument to cover up their incompetence. I would never come again.
