Very nice atmosphere. Waiting service also acceptable. The big drawback, however, is the food. I don't know if it was just a one-time mistake or what led to it... However, I am undoubtedly served for now. Eating a hamburger immediately made me sick…. Later there was a receipt in the form of a serious gastrointestinal illness.

Disaster! We were at the company today, August 31, 24, at 1 p.m. for a short stopover. I am still shocked at what we were offered! The burger was literally fried to death and was dripping with fat, the cheese was hard and burnt, as was the meat itself. The mayonnaise was rancid. Vegan Çig Köfte absolute disaster! It should be served with romaine lettuce, pomegranate dressing and lemon squeeze (according to the menu!) In reality, there was rice mash completely over-seasoned with paprika pulp in balsamic dressing, floating iceberg lettuce leaves with 4 tomato slices and lemon quarters... No romaine lettuce. The lemons were so swimming in the “dressing” that you couldn’t even squeeze them out yourself. There was absolutely no pomegranate dressing either. Generally very carelessly prepared. The service staff didn't even come to the table to ask if everything was OK, the plates weren't even cleared away. Cutlery is transported in the apron and placed on the table if necessary. Disgusting. At some point it really became too much for me and I took the plates to the kitchen counter myself and made my displeasure known. The "cook" was so disrespectful that he even left during the meal. The staff doesn't care about the guests, they don't check whether everything is ok in the store. Even the table next to us had to call out a few times before anyone even responded. We come from the catering industry ourselves but we have never come across something like this. The only thing that seems to make the place work is the location, but it's definitely not the attentive staff or skilled chefs.

The breakfast buffet is a blast

You wait an hour and a half for a piece of chocolate cake. For such a long wait, the cake tasted like it came from the microwave.

I don't even know where to start. The service was super nice and the atmosphere, well what can I say, we sat outside but the service staff couldn't do anything about it, so everything was fine. However, the meal for 16.90 euros was not what we expected. So first of all, the portion of fries was very small. But the highlight was that the burger was served cold and not all the ingredients were on the burger. And that for 17 euros?? The last time for me was at the Daily in Meppen.

Yesterday we were in the restaurant with 6 people (2 adults, 4Kd). Totally friendly, hard-working waitress, unfortunately overwhelmed. He told us verbally about the children's meals and said they weren't on the menu. Large selection of children's meals, five different ones. Portions huge! The waitress was also surprised. Large glasses with glass straws are also rather difficult for children. Ideas for improvement: - Small copied pieces of paper with the children's meals including prices (a bit shocked by the prices) - Tupperware cups and smaller plates for children, without straws - small drinks and appropriate food portions for children - Maybe copy templates for coloring pictures or a small games corner. Atmosphere is a nice place, but long waiting times and forgotten drinks and dishes, the saying "he forgot" in the direction of the kitchen is unprofessional. Everyone seemed a bit dissatisfied and overwhelmed, but very friendly.

For food there was: Chicken Teriyaki Avocado pan The vegetables were very good. Chicken also cooked well. There were also sweet potato fries. These were also very well prepared. Upon request, there was also aioli. The whole meal was just great.

Unfortunately the service was very inattentive! Didn't get any drinks. Forgot dessert! Empty glasses!

Super fast, friendly service, delicious food and despite the busy street it is possible to eat and chat undisturbed outside. PS: the food is very good!

Been here several times and never disappointed. There is a small vegan selection, which is very, very good for Emsland! And what's even better: this selection actually tastes good! The terrace right on the water offers a wonderful ambience and creates a casual and very relaxed atmosphere. If you're lucky, you'll be served by the red-haired restaurant management, who, despite the relatively busy terrace, always remained calm and, above all, accommodating! The ambience is quite nice, modernly furnished and particularly pleasant outside by the water. The food is OK. You can quickly taste canned mushrooms, frozen meat and sauces from bulk packs. Accordingly, the prices are reasonable and the taste is also okay. Definitely not restaurant level for me, but you can do it. What really puts me off, however, is the service. The service was friendly, no question. However, when a guest asks whether the fish is fresh or frozen and the waitress first says "fresh" and then "I'm not in the kitchen", then I almost have to laugh. She apparently didn't know the menu either, because when asked what kind of cocktails were on offer, she replied "it's on the menu". Sorry, that's not service, it's just picking up food and handing it over. Drinks weren't poured either, they were just put there. In my opinion, the service staff have not received any training and know neither the menu nor the products they serve.

We were visiting Meppen and had an appointment here for dinner. Very nice modern economy. Nice and fast service. The chilli cheeseburger was mega and is simply perfect. Keep it up. Kind regards from Leipzig

We were partially satisfied with lunch. Great price (€12.90). Service was a bit slow and there was no sauce for the salads. Only when I complained was vinegar and oil put there. In Lingen it was much better. Next time we'd rather drive on to Lingen.

I sat outside on the terrace, right by the bunny. It's really nice, you almost feel guilty because the waitresses have to carry the drinks and food so far. I can only recommend it at any time and would be happy to come back.

So…. Yesterday I went to the restaurant to eat the spicy schnitzel and it tasted very, very good, but for €16.50 there was only one schnitzel, which I knew was always two, so I wasn't so happy. Enjoyed a very rich buffet and for the price of €19.90 there was a really huge selection, cold cuts, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, antipasti, salmon, at least 5 different salads, jam, quark and muesli. The only thing I didn't like was the fruit salad, which wasn't really fresh and didn't even have fresh strawberries and blueberries, no oranges, but a lot of melon and pears and it wasn't great either. One point deducted for that But we'll still come back.

On the way to vacation a little stopover to grab something to eat. The food is very good and the staff is friendly. Costs - performance simply top 👍A very nice start to your vacation.

The location and the rooms are great. Although the staff is friendly, they didn't provide a particularly outstanding service during our stay there. The situation is similar with the dishes offered at brunch. You can eat it, but it doesn't taste anything special.

We were there for the lunch buffet. There was a wide range of food. Everything tasted very good. The food containers were constantly refilled. There was also a very good selection of salads. The staff was very friendly and kept asking if everything was OK. The price/performance ratio is right. Large amount of space. There is also a large outdoor terrace with a view of the Ems. We will definitely be happy to stop there again on our next tour.

Ordered pasta with chicken strips, I was served a soup plate with oil, of course indicated. There was no question whether I wanted a new one, but we were just going to pass it on, and in the end I had to pay for the entire dish.

Wir waren zum Muttertags Brunch da. Hatte mit Brunch außer dem Preis, 19.90€, nichts zu tun. Harte Brötchen, kein Meerrettich zum Lachs, keine Spiegeleier, keine Würstchen, nur eine Sorte Saft, fertiges Dessert aus Eimern. Es war total enttäuschend. Wir kommen definitiv nicht mehr wieder.

Great restaurant directly with a terrace on the Ems. Good menu, large portion, price performance ok.

Not recommendable. Staff completely incompetent. Nothing going on in the restaurant. As soon as you had 1 drink and got food, no one came by. What should happen when it's full? Food below average. Sauce not bound, just greasy. Everything was fried for far too long. Never again.

We spontaneously drove here for breakfast today (July 16th). 2 persons. There were easily 20 tables available. We were turned away because everything was fully booked and we didn't have a reservation. It wasn't even expressed, if it were possible. 5 minutes later we made an online reservation. This went without any problems and was even confirmed!! And we've been there twice at the same time and it's never been a problem. We were even told in advance by telephone that a reservation was not necessary.

Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. We were seated at a table in between, although we had pre-ordered and a suitable table was seated for us a little later. Unfortunately, we would have to wait about 1 hour and 20 minutes for the food. If we asked several times, we would still be put off Nothing happened. Because of the implementation, they were visibly overwhelmed trying to assign the order correctly. It's understandable that everything takes longer when it's full, no question about it, but the fact that we then get food where the fries and citizens are cold is not possible for the price they charge. The portions were so small that you wondered what you were paying for. Only the schnitzels were warm. The men's toilets were clogged and very dirty. Of course, the staff can't do anything for the messy behavior of their customers, but it clearly wasn't the evening I had a look at it. It was a shame. But what was positive was that some of the waiters were really nice.

There were three of us spontaneously...we got a spot straight away even though it was so full... Super lovely waitress Jasmin and her colleagues are all very friendly.. and the food and cocktails 🍸 were great 👍 Thank you 🙏🏾

We tried the lunch menu... lukewarm food... no chicken or pork schnitzel was brought after we asked... well it was worth a try... But we won't be using the lunch menu anymore... but yikes... small note... Please offer original Cola instead of Pepsi Cola!! Have now waited 20 minutes for chicken and pork schnitzel…. We are now fed up with the fresh heating air... Thank you 👍

Breakfast buffet, lunch and evening dishes

We were there with a larger group for the breakfast buffet. The set table looked quite attractive at first glance until we turned the cups over. Every other cup was really dirty. The glasses for the juices were also very dirty and didn't give a pleasant feeling. The staff was extremely overwhelmed. And really understaffed for two people on a Sunday. Accordingly, no plates etc. were cleared away. What was fine was the breakfast itself. It would have been nice if you could get to the buffet on both sides so the line wouldn't be so long. Unfortunately, with children etc. you only have to queue up once.

Some moderately clean. Nothing is added to the breakfast buffet, some dirty dishes and cutlery. There are no alternatives for food intolerances. Conditions are more about smoking or chatting than serving. Not to be missed!

Excellent dining experience! I was recently at the Täglich Restaurant in Meppen and was pleasantly surprised by the first-class quality of the food. The dishes were not only delicious, but also made with fresh ingredients. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience that I recommend to everyone!

A few days ago we were eating at Tages Meppen with a large group. The service is super friendly and has a good sense of humor. We were in great hands and the service was well taken care of, not intrusive at all. The food was also very tasty, many ordered pizza and burgers. Large, great selection of vegetarian dishes, only the selection of vegan dishes could be a little larger. Also large selection of drinks. We will be back definitely!

The daily has really deteriorated in quality over the last few years. The waiters are not on their toes at all. We asked for a pot of coffee at the breakfast buffet. After more than 15 minutes I thought I'd ask again, it said "it's not intended for smaller tables", so why not answer the question after the first time? However, they said we could get a pot with a longer wait. But nothing came. Instead, we queued at a fully automatic coffee machine, even though we would have liked filter coffee like other guests. There were about 15 people in front of us at the machine. I have no understanding of that. The long waiting time created a bad mood among the guests. After about 50 minutes we finally had our cup of coffee for breakfast. I also missed the fresh fruit that has been included in the breakfast buffet for the past few years. For €19.90 I can go to Kannelloni in Heede. You get significantly better service and a lot more choice at the buffet. Unfortunately no longer recommended! I don't even want to tell you about our last visit in the evening for dinner. When ordering, something was constantly forgotten or brought to the table incorrectly. It's a shame, the store has so much potential.

Unbelievable: We had to order our drinks three times before they finally came. But one was still forgotten and only came when the others were already half empty. Incredibly bad service. We waited an hour and a half for the food and then they served something wrong. The feta cheese on the burger was a cold lump straight from the fridge. I have truly never experienced such poor service.

We were there last night. To have a little something to eat. At first the service was good. They brought us the drinks and later also the food. When I ordered, I specifically said that my meat had to be well done because I was pregnant. This was also accepted. So I assumed that my burger meat was done too. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. It was still very raw on the inside. So I let it go back and asked to fry it a little longer. They also did this in a friendly way. The employee came with a new burger etc. But it was also still raw on the inside. Since I didn't want to wait any longer to eat, I just ate everything around it and left the burger patty. When I paid, I said it again, but unfortunately there was no response from the service staff. Actually, it's a shame...

Ich gehe schon sehr lange regelmäßig mit meinen Freunden und meiner Familie nach Täglich da ich immer perfekt zufrieden bin. Das Essen und trinken ist 1a genauso wie der Service. Täglich wurde echt zu meinem Favoriten wenn es um leckere Cocktails und frisches Essen geht. 🥗🍹

It used to be better. Everything was laid out on the plate very carelessly. It's a shame, I wanted to offer my parents, both well over 80, a change. The reception wasn't very nice, why weren't we allowed to sit at the table for 6 even though there wasn't much going on.

Today we had brunch with 17 people. We made a reservation by phone on January 8th, 2023 for a price of 14.90 per person including 7 children. Today to our surprise we had to pay almost 20.00 euros per person!!! This is an absolute bummer...plus we weren't informed about the new prices beforehand. The prices were absolutely not justified for the buffet. There was no bread or cream cheese. This is a must, especially for people who don't eat butter. You had to wait a long time for croissants and scrambled eggs until supplies came. The wrong number of people was noted. (We were 17 people, including two small children) That means we couldn't all sit comfortably at one table together. And sometimes we had to take the plates on our laps. We weren't given any suggestions (e.g. move another table to the tables). We were allowed to hear: "We only booked for 13 people". The staff behaved absolutely unprofessionally in the situation. Apparently we weren't the only people who complained about it. I insist on being refunded the amount for which I also booked over the phone.

That was the very last time! Hospital visit thanks to “Daily Meppen” First of all, it started with the reservation on the phone: I had to repeat myself three times - not because they didn't understand me, but because the lady on the phone was completely out of her mind. Then we were sent to the table with a total of 5 girls and had to wait 20 minutes before we were even asked for something to drink. But that's ONLY because I drew attention to myself! It took another 15-20 minutes until we received our drinks. Then the same amount of time passed AGAIN until we were finally asked what we would like to eat. That was the only thing that happened relatively quickly. But then came the next surprise: Pasta and “a pinch” of chilli - after the pinch you could probably have breathed fire if you wanted to - absolutely not to be enjoyed! When we finished eating and ordered 1x dessert and 1x tea, we had to wait AGAIN for almost half an hour. Last but not least, €10 too much was collected and it wasn't even noticed. The service staff were mostly on their cell phones, nobody really wanted their job and you can't really speak of friendliness. When we got home, the next surprise came: 4/5 people suddenly had extreme gastrointestinal problems, one of which ended up in the hospital, thanks to the food on site 👏🏽 A huge round of applause for that. Just stay away from the store!!!!

Were there as a small group of 4 people. A really very pleasant atmosphere and a great menu. I can only recommend the warm apple cake with caramel and vanilla ice cream. I often have the problem that I can't sit comfortably in the restaurant because I'm a bit taller. But here it was completely different. It was really very pleasant there.

Die Service Mitarbeiter gehen an den Kunden mehrfach vorbei und nehmen die Bestellung nicht mal auf. Beim betreten war Freitag Abend halbe Ambiente frei und Aussage von Service Kraft war nicht frei. Alles nur auf Reservierung. Unglaublich. Nach dem uns ein Tisch doch gewährt wurde kam andere Gäste rein und ohne Reservierung Tisch bekommen. Ich fand das Vorgehensweise von Service unmöglich. Auf die Bedienung habe ich und meine freundin auf halbe Stunde gewartet. Sie ging immer wieder an und vorbei.

Habe ein Steak bestellt… angekommen ist es in der Mitte völlig Roh und ungenießbar. Für den Preis Katastrophal!

Essen war kalt, hatte kein geschmack (wusste gar nicht das man Pasta Pesto so falsch machen kann, ist ja eigentlich sehr einfach) und schwamm in öl. Einmal und nie wieder.

In alle eerlijkheid, hebben er niet uitgebreid gegeten maar wat koffie en thee gedronken. Wél met een heerlijk taartje erbij. En moet gezegd. Koffie was top. Moet je niet onderschatten. Latte Macchiato was bijvoorbeeld goed op temperatuur. Wil bij andere shops nog wel eens mislukken namelijk. Koffie op de juiste temperatuur serveren.Hadden voor kinderen trouwens warme chocolademelk besteld. Ook deze was meer dan prima.Maar overweldigend was de chocolade taart. Een zeg maar mooie Brownie gevuld met warme pure chocolade, daarnaast een bolletje vanille ijs, slagroom (vers) en schijfjes peer. Hemels heerlijke versnapering. Top!

Dem Täglich eine zweite Chance gegeben. Leider wieder durchgefallen. Wir waren mit 10 Personen am 2.Weihnachtstag abends dort. Erstmal fiel mir auf das gar nicht eingedeckt wurde. Wir bestellten Vorspeisen und Hauptgänge. Vorspeisen kamen der Zeit angemessen. Aber wieder kein Besteck. Nachdem wir danach fragten wurden uns 5 Brsteckee auf den Tisch gelegt. Wir waren 10 Personen. Vorspeisen waren aber soweit ok. Dann kam der Hauptgang.Wie letztes Jahr waren die Burger trocken gebraten, Pizza nicht crossing mit matschigen Boden. Schweinerücken Steak tot gebraten. Das Steak wurde uns neu gemacht welches aber leider auch komplett tot gebraten kam. Service freundlich und bemüht. Leider keine Ahnung von den Speisen. Wohl neue Aushilfen. Zum Essen werden wir wohl nicht wiederkommen. Leider, da das Ambiente sehr schön ist

Ich war zum Frühstück da.Das war mein erstes mal dort. Ich fand es sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück. Personal war sehr freundlich.

Ich habe ein Nudelgericht bestellt. Ich habe nur Butter geschmeckt. Das Gericht war sehr dürftig gewürzt, ich hab den Eindruck das keine Gewürze verwendet wurden. Das Ambiente war ok, sauber, aufgeräumt, eher spärlich dekoriert obwohl wir kurz vor Weihnachten stehen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Wartezeit aufs Essen war absolut im grünen Bereich. Leider fehlte es an Würze, sonst war vieles ok

Ein Ort zum wohlfühlen. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr nettes Personal. Aber.......an der Hygiene bei den Toiletten muss noch gearbeitet werden......trotzdem zu empfehlen

Das Ambiente ist ansprechend. Man sitzt in gemütlicher Atmosphäre in modern eingerichteten Räumlichkeiten. Das Essen war gut und reichlich. Der Service schien etwas überfordert. Getränke wurden vergessen und man musste die Servicekräfte herbeirufen um noch was nachzubestellen. Das Lokal war allerdings auch sehr gut gefüllt.

War zum ersten mal dort mit meiner Frau zum Essen, nach dem gang über den Weihnachtsmarkt in der Stadt. Ich hatte ein Avocadoteller mit Hähnchenbrust der sehr lecker war, meine Frau hatte ein Burgerteller der auch sehr gut war. Vom Preis her war es auch in Ordnung.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Die Wartezeiten allerdings waren sehr lang und als wir die Rechnung haben wollten wurden wir vergessen hahaha und einmal wurde bei einem beganen Dip ein nicht veganer Dip gebracht. In dem Raum direkt neben unserem Tisch waren LED Lichter an der Decke welche die ganze Zeit durch mies geflackert

Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und für jeden was dabei. Das Personal machte den Eindruck bei der kleinsten Frage vom gast genervt zu sein. Bei 3 Bedienungen hinterm Tresen, davon 2 nur am Handy, eine nur zur Kasse zugewandt. Bei einer Frage wurde man sehr unfreundlich behandelt und man hatte jedes Mal den Eindruck zu nerven oder zu stören. Beim Bezahlen bekam ich zu hören "ich kann nicht wechseln, dann müssen sie erst Geld passend machen oder mit Karte zahlen!" Ääähhhh... Die Volksbank ist 10 Meter daneben. Habe mich dann selbst (als Kunde)darum bemüht mein Geld zu wechseln, da 3 junge Frauen es in ihrem Job nicht geschafft haben, war bestimmt stressig mit 15 Gästen beim Ende des Frühstücksbuffets. Diesmal bin ich so enttäuscht, das ich erstmal nicht mehr dorthin gehen werde und es auch nicht mehr empfehlen kann. War schließlich nicht zum ersten Mal, das man so unfreundlich behandelt und als Gast NICHT willkommen geheißen wurde.

Dass Essen ist sehr lecker und dass Ambiente ist schön, auch wenn teilweise etwas laut. Der Tisch mit einem integriertem Zapfhahn und drehender Bank (sodass jeder dran kommen kann) ist dabei wohl dass Highlight. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Alles in allem super. Kinderfreundlich, es jammert niemand wenn mal nen anderthalb jähriges Kind herum krabbelt und das essen kam zügig zun tisch

Sehr schön eingerichtet. An dem Abend war es sehr voll, trotzdem war das Personal sehr aufmerksam und wir wurden schnell bedient. Das Essen war sehr gut.

Tolles Essen mit guten veganen Optionen (inkl. veganer Mayo!)! Aber die Bedienung war inkompent in Sachen Kartenzahlung, man könnte sogar annehmen, dass sie sich Trinkgeld erschlich: Wir haben zu viert gegessen und je Paar getrennt bezahlt. Wir kamen auf 47€ und haben aufgerundet auf 50€, die anderen auf 43€. Bei uns klappte alles, bei dem anderen Paar seien leider 50€ schon eingeloggt gewesen. Die Bedienung bat 50€ zu zahlen, weil sie nicht wisse wie sie es umstelle... obwohl sie ja auch schon für uns umgestellt hat von 47 auf 50€. 🧐 Aufpassen!

Sehr schönes Lokal, kurze Wartezeiten selbst bei viel Publikum. Sehr freundliches Personal, zuvorkommen und aufmerksam! Speisekarte mit Abwechslungsreichen Gerichten, ausgefallenen Getränken und angemessenen Preisen. Wir waren 5 Tage im Hotel nebenan, welches ebenfalls ein Restaurant hat. Nachdem wir an unserem 2. Abend das Täglich zum Essen getestet hatten, waren wir so begeistert vom Gesamtpaket, dass wir unsere restlichen Abende ebenfalls dort verbrachte.

Trotz fortgeschrittenen Alters haben wir uns wohl gefühlt, man wird geduzt, aber die Damen vom Service sind supernett. Die Speisekarte ist sehr reichhaltig, auch Vegetarier finden genug. Jeden Tag gibt es Happy hour bei den Cocktails, lecker! Punktabzug bei der Sauberkeit, der Fußboden an unserem Tisch sah echt schlimm aus, die Tische und alles andere war aber okay.
