We don't want to exaggerate or downplay the experience... but the evening was absolutely terrible! We paid a total of €370 for two adults and two children... In our opinion, that's outrageous. We're willing to pay for good food and a good atmosphere, but not for something like this... Instead of roast beef, we were served dry roast pork, which everyone at the next table was audibly complaining about. The entire menu was unappetizing. And the atmosphere was terrible. The guests had to entertain themselves... It was like: "You do this... and you do that... done..." Hilarious (Hahaha)... When we asked if we had enjoyed our meal and had voiced our criticisms, the plates were cleared away without a word. No apology, no fuss. We're talking €370 here! 👋 Everyone has to decide for themselves, but we'll definitely never be back.

I expected something different. Food 2/10, staff was okay.

Dining out with a twist – my birthday wish was a medieval feast, and thanks to Google, I found the perfect place very quickly. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we spent almost four hours there. The food was delicious, the entertainment provided by the jugglers was fantastic, and the service with its typical Berlin wit and charm really made the experience special. So, if you're looking to eat with your hands and get a little dirty, this is the place for you.

Overall, you can certainly have a pleasant evening here. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good. The bread and soup were delicious. The vegetarian main course was very generous but of very poor quality. It was frozen food that had been deep-fried, and the beans were completely overcooked. The dessert was tasty, even though it was also just defrosted cake. The atmosphere, with entertainment and singing, was convivial.

We were a group of 15 colleagues at the Tafelrunde restaurant for our Christmas party and enjoyed a six-course meal. The ambiance was truly lovely – the singers, jugglers, and even the waitstaff created a very pleasant and authentic atmosphere. Most of the courses were solid, however, the main course significantly marred the overall impression. The meat was unfortunately no longer up to standard, which is particularly noticeable with a meal of this kind. Overall, it was an evening with a great setting and good entertainment, but the food – especially the main course – definitely needs improvement.

Cathrin is simply the best! Mr. Herold creates the best atmosphere, and the jugglers perfectly round off the evening. The food is hearty, delicious, and plentiful. Highly recommended!

Kathrin, I accidentally lied to you on Saturday. I was so sure I'd already left a review. I'm doing it now. This was our third time here. Kathrin is truly the most amazing server/employee I've ever met. She does her job with such dedication! You definitely have to be open to the experience; there's dancing, singing, and some people are even teased. If you don't find that fun and can't be prepared for it, then this isn't the place for you. There's always one course per evening, so check the schedule beforehand to see what's on offer and avoid disappointment. The food is really delicious, although some, especially those who prefer Asian/Middle Eastern cuisine, might find it a bit bland. For my taste, it was fantastic. The entertainment and the jugglers are absolutely worth it. They perform their acts with so much fun, which makes it fun for everyone. The drinks are a bit pricey, and the overall price is rather high. But for me, it's worth it. You don't usually visit the Tafelrunde every weekend. We'll definitely be back!

Hello everyone, I can only recommend the round table. The food is great and the atmosphere is also incredibly cool. You're immediately welcomed into the group and celebrate with us. The program between meals was also really awesome. I have to say, I drove all the way from Cologne just for this meal, and it was absolutely worth it, and it was the second time I've done it.

We were privileged to enjoy our company party at the Tafelrunde. It was incredibly entertaining, and we all had a blast. The service was very friendly and attentive. The performers were also simply fantastic. Thank you for this wonderful evening.

The food was incredibly delicious, and the 6-course menu was served at perfect intervals, so you never felt like you were overeating – a huge compliment for that! The service was very friendly and attentive. The supporting program was also very enjoyable, and the breaks in between were ideal. The only small downside: our table for two was right in front of the restroom, which somewhat dampened the atmosphere. Nevertheless: a top-notch event! We'd love to come back. Highly recommended!

We were there on that Friday ^^ There were 9 people in total (out of 105 seats) But that didn't diminish the experience in the slightest ^^ Food = Wonderful throughout. It's great to eat like we used to. It makes for some fun and conversation ^^ Slurping soup and eating sauerkraut noodles with a knife <3 Service: The good maid did a wonderful job; anyone who wants to smoke can announce their departure during breaks. I recently attended a D&D event at the Round Table and was thrilled! The staff were super friendly, and the cold platter was fantastic! I really hope there will be another event like this soon. This definitely won't be my last visit there.

For our anniversary, I gave my girlfriend a voucher for the Round Table, which we redeemed with great anticipation last Saturday, June 28, 2025, and were invited to the "executioner's meal." The maid welcomed us warmly in the appropriate manner and led us into the tavern's premises. The ambiance was truly beautiful and medieval. And you felt like you were transported back in time. The plates and the dinner knife were already waiting at the table. The atmosphere and the program were truly great and very entertaining. Some visitors were involved in the intrigue during the show (I happened to have the pleasure of attending) and thus had a very personal and entertaining experience. The courses of food were all truly excellent, delicious, and plentiful. You can always choose between meat or vegetarian. The mead can be drunk from horns, and the food is eaten only with the hands and the dinner knife. The maid (waitress) and the show performers were great and funny. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and we would book it again anytime. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

A 5-course menu was presented in a rustic style. Mead was served from a horn, clay dishes were used, and eating was done with your fingers. The service staff immediately made everyone feel like part of a group through their words and manner of speaking. Conversation repeatedly led to amusing moments between courses. If you're looking for a taste of the Middle Ages in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you. The ambiance immediately captivated you. The value for money is absolutely reasonable.
