This evening, ten brave knights gathered at the venerable Round Table in Berlin to enjoy a truly excellent meal! The servants were extremely friendly, the food a true delight, and the drink was poured in tankards worthy of a knight. The exuberant atmosphere was only surpassed by a very well-considered surprise at the end – truly a feast that will resonate in our hearts for a long time to come! We were there on Friday and unfortunately we can't report much positive things. The homepage advertised jugglers and bards who were supposed to captivate you with singing, fire juggling and the bagpipes. We had exactly one bard on site who only sang with us and there was a play in which more or less everyone had to take part. There was no bagpipe playing or fire juggling. And we had to sing songs like On the North Sea Coast, on the Wall, on the Lauer and Kreuzberg Nights are Long. The medieval theme has been missed here by a long way! We certainly wouldn't have booked this if it had been clear in advance that you had to take part in everything, as we expected to be entertained. Unfortunately, none of the courses were really tasty. The best part was the bread and the lard. The soup and cake didn't taste good at all and the main course consisted of dry Schupfnudeln, overcooked sour red cabbage and dry deer. Unfortunately, the cranberry dip didn't find its way to our table, but it certainly wouldn't have saved the day. The vegetarian dish was like a children's cafeteria meal and was neither tasty nor appetizing. We tried to make the most of the evening and treated it with a bit of humor in our group, but unfortunately it's absolutely not worth the price and you don't get what's advertised on the homepage.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant “Not”. First of all, we waited over two hours for the food. Then the main course was more than oversalted (Schupfnudeln and red cabbage)! But the highlight was that 4 out of 10 people had stomach problems at night and the next day. Contact was made with the restaurant and this was pointed out.

Entertainment was very nice. 4/5. But we waited over an hour for the soup. Main course almost 2 hours. The food itself? Sorry, I didn't have much taste. 70 euros is too much. 50 euros would be optimal.

It was a nice evening. The team makes every effort to give everyone a wonderful experience. The food is delicious and the service is good. The volume takes some getting used to, but it is part of a round table and cannot be avoided given the large number of guests.

I received the round table as a gift for my birthday. We just loved it. I don't actually want to tell you too much, otherwise it would take away from the surprise for people who haven't been there yet... but this much will be said: We sang with the juggler and the food was really amazing. We had duck with dumplings and Red cabbage...rarely had such a good duck. Otherwise, of course, I was crowned a lady and drank a lot of mead, as it should be. Worth a visit... we'll definitely come back again. And for the price you can't say anything at all. There was even a second helping upon request.

We had dinner there on February 15th....the food was very good and plentiful....the show was great...the ambience was perfect....our waitress (Holde Kathrin) rounded the whole thing off...we will definitely come back again...I just say: good health.....😜🤪👍

The show is as important as the food here, if not more. The entertainment is great, ideal for tourists or travellers, even though the show is in German. I particularly liked the warm krautsalat and the meat, but you essentially get a quite limited meal in terms of variety (bread, soup, meat and potatoes). It's a bit expensive for this food, but the entertainment makes it worth it. I appreciated that there were moments of entertainment (and you're practically forced to participate or at least listen to them) and moments where we were able to talk with each other.

Always great atmosphere and delicious food

There were four of us at the round table today. The whole event was well organized and coordinated. The entire staff knew how to immediately get all the guests in the mood and get them involved. It was a nice evening with good food, nice entertainment and very friendly, good staff. We'll definitely come back.

We were a large group for the last meal and it was a great event. From the Zumpfe to the Gaugler there was a great atmosphere. The food was more than sufficient and very tasty. A huge thank you to our Zumpfe Petra, who always provided us with drinks quickly. Can only be recommended.

Super delicious food! I have never eaten such delicious smoked cheese!!! The service was absolutely great, although a drink was sometimes forgotten but it was immediately refilled. Absolutely humane. The program in between was very entertaining! We will definitely book again. We can only recommend it!!!

Mega location for a nice evening.

It was something very unusual that you don't do every day. Entertainment was good, but maybe a bit too much of a good thing. We had Christmas dinner and unfortunately our vegetarian order was forgotten and had been registered above. It was also very loud and not without price.

Well done, noble friends of table delights! Yesterday I was given the grace to enter a very lovely restaurant that took us back to the long-gone days of the Middle Ages. As soon as I stepped through the wooden gates for the first time, I was greeted by a warm glow of lights and the bitter, spicy scent of mead and freshly fried food. The servants and maids of the house, dressed in dignified robes of those old days, greeted us with cheerful words and truly honorable courtesy. The tables were richly laid out with delicacies that made the hearts of every noble gentleman and lady beat faster. The roast, juicy and refined with fine herbs, was accompanied by delicious bread and butter-tender roots. The mead flowed freely, sweet and golden as the sunshine itself. The drama wasn't forgotten either! Minstrels and jugglers cheered the heart with their songs and jokes, so that you felt like you were at a banquet in the hall of a powerful lord of the castle. In short, this house is recommended to anyone who wants to escape everyday life and dream of the glorious world of bygone times. Here you can feel the spirit of the Middle Ages in every corner - a delight for body and soul! Have a good time and hurry up so that you yourself can enjoy this wonderful experience! I received this evening as a gift from my wife. In short, there was nothing to complain about when it came to the restaurant. The food was good. Well spread over the 4 hours. Service was nice and attentive. The entertainment was also successful. Personally, it was too loud for us at times. Which is why we could hardly listen to the minstrel. Furthermore, I found it very rude that people kept running out to smoke. You could sometimes see that in the entertainers.

We were there today for our 60th anniversary. Even in the Middle Ages garb. I had imagined the ambience to be better, back then in the citadel it was nicer, with minstrels and jugglers. Now there was some hanging, but I felt like I was in a beer tent, with 'North Sea Coast', 'Boole Lied', there was probably different music in the Middle Ages. :( And most of the employees ran around in their private clothes. That doesn't work at all. Every pizzeria is better. The meal costs €70, so you could expect something better. The girls are doing a great job. I'm disappointed. There were 8 of us and the fun with drinks cost me €800. So not again for me.

Funny but for 60€ per person little offered. The food was a long time coming, although everyone got the same thing. It wasn't anything outstanding either. In a restaurant with several dishes, the workforce would be lost. Bread, quark, thin starter soup, roast beef, potatoes and beans. When I think of a medieval meal, I imagine something different and I have experienced it better. For example in Munich.

Once again a location that I can fully recommend. Anyone who goes here for a knight's dinner should definitely do so with a larger group; then it's really fun. The furnishings are rustic and cozy. The food tastes excellent. But you only eat with a dagger and fingers. Makes you happy. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the accompanying program is fun, you just have to join in

Probably the most (child-)unfriendly restaurant in Berlin! In the supposedly rough tone of the Middle Ages, guests are treated unfriendly here. We were here for a family celebration and were there with a toddler (2 years old), which was also announced. As soon as we got through the door, we were told the stroller had to stay outside. Our child was in a great mood and we took care of his safety and entertainment ourselves. There was no high chair - despite registration - so our child wanted to be out and about. But every waitress pointed out to us in an extremely unfriendly manner that our child was “in the way”. They didn't even want to give him a glass/cup/jug; his request for a piece of bread after more than an hour in the restaurant was initially denied, before a waiter took pity on it. After the 5th comment to our child, we finally left the restaurant after 2 hours without eating, we were simply not welcome. If you want to have a minimum of humanity with your meal for €70+, you should go to another restaurant.

There were three of us and we had mydays vouchers. It was a very nice evening and we laughed a lot. The guests were included in the entire program from the beginning. The food was very tasty. There was freshly baked bread, carrot soup, baked potatoes with beans and very tender cooked pork, and for dessert a small chocolate cake with vanilla sauce. The food was very well tasted and seasoned. Thumbs up for the entire evening. I liked it very much.

We were about 20 people! A colorful mix! One Family, 3 couples, a group of 10 people! The food in the “table round” was very tasty, after a while you felt like you had been transported to the Middle Ages by the minstrel. The mead in the horn flowed freely - served heartily by the waitress and always with a cheeky saying on their lips - the crust of the roast was like at grandma's at home! But I don't want to give too much away, visit the cozy place but even once......

I just have to give 5 stars for everything! The food was delicious and high quality, the service was super nice and very warm. Above all, very binding and relaxed! The whole presentation and the small performances and shows were funny, communal and simply awesome!! There was also a waitress there named Katrin and she was so funny! She makes everyone laugh😂 I would highly recommend!❤️

A disappointment in six courses! Full of anticipation, we visited the round table on the occasion of a friend's birthday. We had the “Prince’s Meal” for €69.90 per person. booked, drink costs not included. According to the description, we expected delicious food in a medieval style in a cozy atmosphere accompanied by bards and jugglers and expressly did not expect a medieval simulation that would stand up to the most precise scrutiny. What we got is literally three hours of tastelessness. First of all, the food: the mead served in a horn at the beginning was very tasty - and should remain the highlight of the evening. We continued with the parade food of the Middle Ages - bread. The taste of the most banal brown bread (directly from the discount store shelf) was served with a bowl of lard that was far too small for four people. Afterwards, chicken drumsticks (cooked ok, but hardly seasoned) were served in a completely dead vegetable mash (with the paprika so popular in medieval Europe :D), followed by a bland, thin, barely identifiable vegetable soup (the kind of soup that is served in the student -Canteen is included in the menu). Now we were longing for the main course. Could a juicy suckling pig with the most delicious sauerkraut make everything right again? No! The meat was completely dry, hardly any sauce, potatoes were mushy and tasteless, as was the sauerkraut (every 69 cent pack of sauerkraut from the supermarket tastes better!). What's that supposed to mean? Is authenticity the goal here? In the Middle Ages there were plenty of spices and herbs, so there was simply nothing wrong with serving simple dishes and recipes deliciously. The personal highlight for me was the chocolate cake served carelessly in a bowl with two sauces (Frederick II loved it. I'm sure.) All in all, for €70 you get completely uninspired food in (not exaggerated) cafeteria quality, which has no connection at all with food from the Middle Ages. Regarding the ambience: the location actually has potential with the beautiful vault. There is a knight's armor in the window and a candle on every table. Otherwise, the decoration and design seems completely listless and uncreative and no attention to detail can be seen with the best will in the world. The program: The “maid” who constantly barks at you rudely. Is probably supposed to imitate the sound in the Middle Ages. Can be seen and liked as a Berlin snout. Or it's just annoying. The "Minnesänger" (true singing talent), who sings classics from the crusade tour like "Is old Holzmichel still alive...". The "Herold", who leads strange clapping exercises and then plays the bagpipes (if that had been the only historical incorrectness of the evening...). Contrary to the description on the website, there was no juggler/fire artist. Overall, here too, a completely uninspired entertainment program at a folk festival/mall entertainer level. If you generally like that sort of thing - totally fine. But please sell and advertise it that way. Nothing here is really worth the money. The birthday person received a “certificate” at the end, which was a nice gesture. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and can only recommend the “experience” if you have pronounced masochism.

Unfortunately the whole evening was a disappointment. Starting with food. Purchase value of goods maximum four euros. Carrot soup, poor quality bread and meat. Meat also very dry and at the very end a mixed brownie. The food wasn't fully themed towards the Middle Ages either (brownie?!) Continue with service. We felt like we had been transported back to our school days. The waitress said “shut up and asshole” to guests. The whole thing was supposed to fit the ambience but it was just unpleasant. In addition, she constantly interrupted our conversations and was very intrusive. When people even asked for drinks the only response was “snap”. Ambience could be improved. There were show acts who performed with singing and bagpipes (in the Middle Ages...) between each course. The singing was difficult to understand and at other times we had to clap like crazy under guidance. What's happening here? All this for 70€. Just don't do it

What a shame. I was really looking forward to the medieval meal. I was already prepared for the fact that neither the ambience, nor the performances, nor the food would be authentic. But the fact that the waitress seemed extremely unfriendly and much too direct (it was a very unpleasant atmosphere), the "shows" seemed extremely cringe and, above all, extremely cheap was surprising and disappointing. But the saddest thing was the food. The first course was honey mead, which was delicious. This was followed by chicken with paprika vegetables (classic medieval peppers ;)). The chicken was quite good, the peppers were extremely underseasoned (which was to carry through the rest of the dinner). The third course was carrot soup, which unfortunately had no taste whatsoever. This was followed by the fourth trick, suckling pig. We were really looking forward to that. Too wrong. The suckling pig was very dry and the side dishes (potatoes and sauerkraut) were completely tasteless. As the fifth course, we were presented with a brownie made from a baking mix with red and white "sauce". Overall, we estimate the value of the goods at a maximum of €6 per person and that with a menu price of €70. Of course the “guitar artist” and the “authentic” bagpipe player are included, but that was still €40 too much. Overall, unfortunately very disappointing.

I was surprised by my husband. I can only recommend it, very funny, entertainment was great, I particularly liked the waitress. I really felt like I was with the Vikings right now. Great......at the end the birth children were crowned that evening and beforehand these 5 people had to recite a little rhyme. Among other things, I was also one of those birthday children who was lucky. And at the end we received a certificate of honor. I will never forget it and have never experienced such a wonderful birthday. We'll definitely be back...even if it's not my birthday 😅 With that in mind, I'm just saying To your health 🍻

An all around successful evening!!! The food, ambience and service from Sascha and Katrin rounded off the evening perfectly alongside the jugglers/musicians... Everything was timed perfectly, welcome, shows, food, drinks and here and there, the right saying on the lips. Great experience. We'd love to come back!!! Keep it up - you're great!

The atmosphere is rustic and exactly what you would imagine a medieval hall to be like! We took part in the “Henkersmahlzeit” event and the food was EXCELLENT! Even for vegetarians! Unfortunately it's not vegan, but it didn't bother me personally. The food seemed to be tasty :) And the best thing at the end: the “service”!! Sascha and Katrin accompanied and “moderated” us the entire evening and the juggler and the bard also brought the atmosphere to a climax! We celebrated my brother's birthday here and it was a great evening and worth every cent! Thanks to the entire staff for this unforgettable evening!

Rude staff that thinks they are hilarious. Just generally seems highly unprofessional. Was so terrible that I left shortly after it started. Staff ignores you, demands you pull silly antics alongside them, no utensils, convenience store-tier food.

We were surprised in a positive way by the round table! Great ambience (although there is still room for improvement), great service and good food. It's great that the guests were integrated and interacted with so well. What I would like to see as the cherry on top: real jugglers and more medieval language. We would love to come back! October 2024: We actually came back in a large group. In a large group it was even better!

A few days ago I had the pleasure of taking part in the "Knight's Banquet" with my sister. As soon as we entered the restaurant we felt like we had been transported to another time. Over the course of the evening we were treated to a sumptuous menu. All food was served on rustic plates and eating with fingers and a dagger added to the authentic experience. We had a lot of fun and a fantastic evening. We would particularly like to emphasize the warmth and friendliness of the entire team, which created a great atmosphere from the first minute. We'd love to come back.

NOT RECOMMENDED Unfortunately, the knight's meal for €70 did not meet my expectations. The quality of the food was disappointing and left a lot to be desired. The carrot soup had no flavor at all – neither carrots nor salt were detectable. The beef appeared to be a pre-prepared product that was merely heated, adding to the impression of convenience products. Dessert consisted of a very small piece of cake with a minimal dollop of custard, which was also underwhelming. Overall, the menu neither met the price nor the expectations of a themed experience meal. There is also a clear need for improvement in terms of service.

We attended the round table with 5 people. There were 5 other tables occupied by two guests each. So we were a fun little group. The welcome was warm and friendly. We immediately felt comfortable. The program brought all guests closer together. I won't give too much away here, because not knowing what was going to happen was what made the evening so special for us. There was a guest in our group who didn't drink alcohol, and there was a very tasty alternative to mead for him. In addition, one of our group ordered the vegetarian menu, which was also incredibly tasty. I was allowed to taste it and thought it was really great. The mead was really tasty! And the food is also highly recommended. For a complete evening program with 4 courses, the price is absolutely justified. We paid around €70 per person. A mead was included in the price, the remaining drinks were added. I found the prices for drinks reasonable. I definitely recommend a visit to the round table. It is also a very good birthday gift! I give it 5 stars!

We enjoyed the food. More are available upon request at no extra charge. The chicken wasn't dry and we were full. However, this time I found it to be excessively loud - and for over 3 hours! It depends on where you sit. This time we were also unlucky that people often spoke with their backs to us. So we understood little of what was being said or sung. The staff/services make an effort, but you quickly notice that everyone is somehow stressed and when we wanted to order drinks, some of us were waved away with our hands. Later the service came back and took the order and just said, “Love you guys.” At the end I had to wait a bit to be able to pay, then the bar lady asked me something, I couldn't understand anything because of the volume, when I called her attention she snapped at me in an unsympathetic manner, which shouldn't have been the case!

We spent a girls' evening at the round table on Friday. We were very entertained with singing and drinking and the food was damn tasty. We were all here for the first time and it definitely wasn't the last time. (We are already planning the next evening) Our maid Kathrin was great. The juggler entertained us really well with songs during the meal breaks. I would love to give it 10 stars. And the Herald I have rarely laughed so much. Such a successful evening. Thank you, thank you, thank you The mead was a dream (where can you buy it? and you have to try this greaves lard. I forgot to buy myself some. I'll do that next time. And the knuckle, which I never eat and don't like , was awesome.

A nice place to spend an evening in another time. The staff goes to great lengths to create a unique evening. Unfortunately, the chicken on the menu was very dry. Otherwise, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to drink from a horn and loudly toast others.

A very special kind of dinnertainment. This evening will remain unforgettable. Sensational entertainment and a delicious meal in a unique atmosphere. Unfortunately only 5 stars are possible, I would have liked to have given more. Anyone who plans to spend an evening there should not think twice and book tickets immediately. A little tip: it's really fun in a large group because you're not just an observer of everything that's happening, but you're a part of it all and are encouraged to take part. And it gets loud. Beautifully rustic and the employees put their heart and soul into it

Die Tafelrunde bietet mit Abstand die Beste Stimmung beim Essen. Das war ein einmaliges Erlebnis, dass ich und wir als Gruppe nur weitergeben können. Tolles, deftiges Essen, ganz großartige Bedienung, ein Barde der spitzenmäßig Stimmung macht. Das war vielleicht das erste Deftige Essen in unseren Reihen, wo man mehr abgenommen hat als zugenommen. Die aktivste und herzlichste Veranstaltung seit langer Zeit und ein ganz gefährlicher Met. Insgesamt liegt das Event eher im intensiven preislichen Bereich, aber für das Erlebnis gerechtfertigt. Einzig beim Trinkgeld kann man bei der Gesamtsumme und 10 Prozent gaben schnell einen "das hätten auch 3 Liter Met sein können" Ausrutscher hinlegen. Ist ok. Summasummarum, eine Erinnerung, die man nicht mehr vergisst, mit ganz viel Spaß.

Wir waren zum 2x bei der Tafelrunde und müssen leider gestehen, dass es uns damals in der Zitadelle wesentlich besser gefallen hatte wie diesmal. Wir fanden die Räumlichkeiten und die Bestuhlung diesmal sehr eng was die Beschallung und Luft für uns unangenehm machte. Auch wenn die Unterhaltung gut war, stand der Preis für uns leider nicht zur Relation.... Sorry !
