Amazing food, and incredible service!

Hasenheide, please, what was that? We stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening in your excellently rustic, very lovingly decorated restaurant, with unparalleled service. We quickly found what we were looking for on the very extensive menu featuring German and Mediterranean cuisine. The beer, freshly tapped from the bar, arrived promptly at our table, followed by a waitress who served us promptly and very friendly throughout the evening. The food, which arrived in record time, tasted excellent. The dessert left me speechless: Panna Cotta, served on a plate that would make your heart race, tasted exceptionally good. A brief final conversation with the waitresses amazed me that these two managed the entire restaurant on their own. Unfortunately, I can only give it 5 stars.

Very nice German restaurant. We went for dinner. There was romantic jazzy music but it is easy to talk. The staff is very friendly and the food delicious. The portions are very generous. The prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommend it!

We sat outside in a relaxed atmosphere and inviting ambiance, enjoying good food. Friendly and attentive service rounded off our visit to a complete satisfaction. It will definitely be a welcome stop on our next visit to Berlin!

A disaster, never again. A waitress who didn't think the tip was enough stayed until she got a little more (€6.50). I've never experienced anything like that. Then she told the bartender, who then gave me a penetrating look. I don't know if she expected €30 or something. It's sad, because the food was great, no question, and thanks to the CHEF!!!! But they absolutely ruined it with that ending!!!!!!

The place is really showing its age. The drinks were still carbonated. The service was very pushy and never left you alone. I probably won't be coming back here. It's a shame!

To act up about a tip being too small and then put on such a show instead of simply saying thank you is simply disrespectful. Honestly, we're not in the USA, where tipping is practically enforced – here, it's a voluntary gesture and not a damn obligation. Anyone who works in the restaurant industry should know that. And then to act like it's a joke or like you did something wrong to her when she tipped her for €4 is just embarrassing and a huge disgrace. Instead of being grateful, you're treated condescendingly – that's the last straw.

From the same family as Mokka Bar in Kreuzberg, it's a great restaurant. I especially love the breakfasts and in particular the Englisches Frühstück. Went to this one at lunchtime and it was quiet quiet. Feels like you are in an old traditional German restaurant.

I was there with two friends. We'd been wanting to eat here for a while, but never got around to it. It's a shame we only tried it today because everything was incredibly delicious. We received a very warm welcome, and the atmosphere was also very cozy and inviting. There's truly something for everyone at Wirtshaus Hasenheide. The food is served with so much love, and requests are very well catered to. The waiters are also passionate about their work and very attentive. We will definitely be back, and I can truly recommend it!

The food was not only a visual highlight...so lovingly prepared and beautifully presented, but also tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. You can immediately tell that great importance is placed on quality here. The location is simply gorgeous. You immediately feel at home; the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, perfect for starting the day. Special praise goes to the service...truly top-notch! So warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly, you immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The service was always friendly, quick, and yet totally relaxed. Simply top-notch. I can only recommend this place and am already looking forward to my next visit.

The Hasenheide restaurant offers an incredible variety of delicious dishes! I tried the pike-perch fillet, which was perfectly prepared. My companion opted for the rump steak, which was juicy and flavorful. The Wiener Schnitzel was a true classic, while the roasted veal liver was a particular highlight. The tagliatelle and fresh gnocchi were also delicious. And for dessert, there was a sweet selection: the Kaiserschmarren was airy and light, the panna cotta was creamy, and the tiramisu was a true Italian classic. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend the Hasenheide restaurant! 😊👍

The steak was ordered medium, but it came well done. The "porcini mushroom sauce" consisted of mushrooms. The schnitzel was dry and a bit tough. The quality is poor, not good for the price.

Great to find a restaurant in Berlin that actually serves German food! Loved the pork schnitzels and a nice selection of wine. Just down the road from the Ludwig Von Beethoven Hotel, this restaurant is worth a visit if you are staying in this area.

Der Gastraum war pro Tisch mit einer Kerze beleuchtet. In dieser Dunkelheit nebst einer nicht markierten Treppe, bin in den Raum hinein gestürzt. Am Boden liegend hat mir aufhelfen müssen . Jürgen Kütz, 82 Jahre alt.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant. The interior is modern yet cozy. The menu offers a wide selection, and the meats, in particular, were very fresh and beautifully presented. We also ordered dessert – it was excellent. The service was quick and the staff very helpful. The prices may be a bit high, but they are absolutely justified for the quality and service. An ideal place for a stylish yet relaxed dinner.

Two of us were there last night. The staff were super friendly. Since the restaurant was very busy, the nice lady immediately said the food would take a while. But since we were given drinks right away, it wasn't a problem. We had a fantastic meal. There was an appetizer plate, then a tarte flambée with salmon, and an original Wiener veal schnitzel. Very generous portions and delicious. The staff were always very attentive and pleasant. Oh yes, the food didn't take that long either. I do have one small suggestion for improvement: I would make two smaller schnitzels instead of one. But that's just a suggestion. If we're ever in Berlin again, we'll definitely come back. This is a really great breakfast restaurant. Beautiful inside and out, really comfortable seating and lovely surroundings in the courtyard. Coffee is large, hot and nicely presented. Freshly squeezed orange juice and chilled water. The breakfasts are generous and impressively arranged: pancakes are freshly made with a great array of fruit. Bread soft and fresh. Waiting staff are fantastic !! So polite and happy to help. Can’t recommend enough and will be back soon!

Great restaurant. Good service, good food combined with absolutely fair prices. That's not something you can take for granted these days. You can also dine with a larger group at Restaurant Hasenheide.

Instead of a Wiener schnitzel, I simply got tough beef. Instead of being understanding and apologizing, they brazenly "demanded" a tip... brazen. The English breakfast came with a spoonful of baked beans, but instead a fruit salad on the plate. Service was inattentive and overwhelmed, even though the place wasn't even full and there were enough waiters. Unfortunately, the roast beef with onions is no longer on the menu... you can't go there anymore.

Not recommended at all. The Wienerschnitzel was very tough and virtually inedible and the service was ignorant, so we didn't order a second round of drinks. The big thing, however, was that after our complaints the waitress asked whether she would get the change as a tip.

Server gave me a nice suggestion on what to have. Schnitzel with fresh peppercorn sauce. The fresh peppercorns gave the dish a nice zingy spice which cut down the richness of the fried meat. Perfect weather to sit outside. Location is nice being on the fringes of a park. A family place.

Very disappointing! Unfortunately the service was very bad. We had to wait a whole two hours for our food. When it finally arrived, the chicken and meat were undercooked, which is completely unacceptable. Also, the food was way too salty. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Very nice restaurant with very nice staff. A table reservation for 10 people is no problem. The food is outstanding (especially the liver and bruchetta). Prices are still reasonable.

The cheapest breakfast buffet in all of Berlin! For just 4.90 euros you can eat as much as you want there. The offering is fresh and extensive. From about a dozen different salads, sausages and cheeses to fried mushrooms, chicken nuggets, scrambled eggs, muesli, fruit salad and cakes. There are even several types of fish, including salmon. The staff is friendly and efficient. If the store is full (and it is often) it may take some time before you can place a drink order. But that's not a problem. (Since the food is so cheap, the drinks are relatively expensive. Insider tip: don't drink anything, just eat!) The whole neighborhood meets there. Absolutely cult! Highly recommended!

Fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared and wonderful. The “lunch menu” also offers an excellent selection at fair prices – a great option for a quick but high-quality meal. The atmosphere is modern and cozy at the same time - perfect for a relaxed dinner. The prices are absolutely justified for the quality offered and the excellent service. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and would love to come back! On warm days I can also recommend the beautiful terrace; it was recently completely renovated for an even more cozy atmosphere.

We've been waiting for our food for 1.5 hours now, the restaurant isn't particularly full and we got drinks an hour ago - just a shame
