A wonderful evening from start to finish...excellent food, very tasty drinks and brilliant service (Max!!!)

I haven't felt this comfortable in a long time!! Everything is just right here. Great, attentive and friendly service meets a family atmosphere in an extremely lovingly furnished restaurant! The food, at more than fair prices, was the best I've had in a restaurant in a long time. From the starter to the main course to the dessert platter, everything was nothing less than perfect! In short: IF you eat stylishly at Alexanderplatz (no matter as a “local” or as a “tourist”), THEN Fischer & Lustig!!!

Yesterday we were with friends in the restaurant, which initially scored points with friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the long waiting times for ordering, eating and paying - probably due to the rush - left a lot to be desired. In my opinion, the prices are disproportionate to the quality and quantity of the food: My zander consisted of a small slice of fish with a few side dishes, with the vegetables being so hard that they were almost inedible (€26). Since we were limited by time, there was no time for improvements. Conclusion: For us it was a one-time visit, we won't be coming back.

I was with you today with two friends. We received a very friendly welcome in the great atmosphere. The service was in a good mood. My friends chose Matjes and Königsberger and were thrilled. I chose duck leg and duck breast with dumplings and red cabbage. Unfortunately the duck parts were really very small and very dry Dumplings and red cabbage were very good. I was really looking forward to the duck and was bitterly disappointed. I recommended the restaurant because I was very satisfied with the thick ribs with kale on my last visit I ordered again on Christmas Day

Wow, this restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and he was honestly right. First: I arrived without a reservation. I didn't really know I had to make a reservation, but when they saw me carrying a baby they found me a table. I appreciate it because we were hungry and it was very cold. Second: The food was a scrumptious delight, I loved the pork, the desserts were an explosion of flavors and the recommended wine was divine, everything was recommended by the waiter. Third: The most spectacular thing about the dinner was the attention of the staff, especially our assigned waiter, I don't know his name but he is white. Adult and bald, what quality of service, level of experience in hospitality, he was patient with me due to my low level of English and always recommended options for my entire family. It was an honor to be able to eat at this restaurant on my first time in Berlin. Five stars for you for your food, decoration and attention. Thank you

We didn't expect a fish restaurant in the Nicolaiviertel and spontaneously went to eat there. It was worth it, we were pleasantly surprised Vegetarian dishes are also available there, for example fried cauliflower with potatoes, large portions to eat your fill. The Labskaus was highly recommended and the fish and chips were also great. The interior of the restaurant is modernly furnished.

Underground Service Had reserved a table for 2 - were brought to a table with only one chair. We stood there for 7 minutes - then another waiter came and asked what we were waiting for - a chair. He then brought us a chair - shortly afterwards the first waiter came - it wouldn't work - it was for a group. We then left the restaurant. I have never been treated so rudely.

A fantastic experience at Fischer & Lustig! Our visit was a pure treat for all the senses. In particular, we would like to highlight the perfectly cooked whole duck – juicy, tender and full of flavour, a real masterpiece! As the crowning glory, the dinner ended with the dessert plate "Sött slut", which was not only visually impressive but also a taste highlight. Every detail was thought out and perfectly executed. The evening was rounded off with the professional, charming and attentive team, who made us feel very welcome from start to finish. An obvious recommendation - we will definitely be back!

Big disappointment today, was often in the Oase in Mitte and always very satisfied 👍But today it was really very bad, a restaurant lives from the service and especially from the food... Service today totally overwhelmed and very stressed, food was very bad today... Ox cheeks totally stringy, side dishes below ground, vegetables raw, food was served cold, complaint not possible because waiter was no longer available. I was very disappointed that the restaurant manager didn't respond to my complaint, the bill had to be paid in full, which is a shame for tourists👎

I was there today with the family. The restaurant was very accessible and also seems to be used as a spacious beer garden in summer. The atmosphere is rustic and very cozy. I felt very comfortable from the start. The welcome was very warm and with humor. The Lord knew how to use words. That was how he won me over. After ordering the drinks, we waited neither too long nor too long for the main course. I had salmon with braised cucumbers and mashed potatoes. The food was beautifully prepared and absolutely worth the price because you had the feeling that it was cooked with love. I also have to highlight the dessert. A liquid cheesecake in a glass filled with small ice cubes. You felt like you were transported back to your childhood when your mom let you lick the bowl of dough. And another special compliment to the restaurant specialist. Approach the guest with humor and punch. Really good.

Leider bin ich von diesem Besuch im Fischer & Lustig enttäuscht. An der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter+innen sowie der Qualität der Speisen war nichts zu bemängeln - deshalb auch der wiederholte Besuch. Was allerdings unsere Stimmung sehr beeinträchtigt hat war die Tatsache, dass wir von der Bestellung unserer Gerichte bis zur "Lieferung" eine (1) Stunde warten mussten. Auf meine Frage, warum des so lange dauerte, wurde mir geantwortet, dass einige große Gruppen zu bedienen wären und diese erst mal drankommen müssten. Da stellt sich für mich allerdings die Frage, ob "große Gruppen", die vielleicht einmal im Jahr kommen, dem Restaurant wichtiger sind als individuelle Gäste, die bei Zufriedenheit wiederkommen.

We received a great welcome. There was no table available. But the patio heater was turned on for us outside and we waited for a table with hot drinks. After about 15-20 minutes we sat down. Max and Patrick were the best cellars / service we have ever experienced. We have never experienced such friendly staff. Nice conversations and asking if we need anything else and whether it tastes good. At the end we received a rose from Max. We'll definitely be back.

We, a group of 14 people from Swabia, had a completely successful evening there. The restaurant was busy and yet everyone had food on the table at the same time. Mega tasty, very varied. Simply perfect.

As soon as we entered the restaurant we felt like we were at home. The interior is extremely cozy, with cozy seating areas that invite you to linger and enjoy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, which immediately makes you forget the stress of everyday life. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. Our every wish was met without seeming intrusive. It is rare to experience such a high level of service that is both warm and professional. We chose the duck, both breast and leg, served with red cabbage and dumplings. What can I say? It was the best duck we've eaten at a restaurant in a long time! The meat was tender and juicy, the skin crispy, and the side dishes harmonized perfectly. A truly heavenly taste experience that will be remembered for a long time. Our meal was accompanied by a homemade lemonade and a red wine from Markus Schneider called “Ursprung”. Both drinks were excellent and rounded off the culinary experience. The lemonade was refreshing and not too sweet Wine convinced with its full-bodied aromas. Unfortunately, after this feast there was no room for dessert, which we regretted a little. But that gives us a good reason to come back soon and explore the dessert menu. In summary, we can unreservedly recommend the “Fischer & Lustig”. Anyone who values ​​excellent food, first-class service and a cozy atmosphere will not be disappointed here. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Unser Aufenthalt im Restaurant Fischer und Lustig war sehr angenehm. Das Essen und der Service waren ausgezeichnet, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte zu 100%. Einziger Wermutstropfen war unser Platz in der Nähe der Toiletten, wo die Handtrockner sehr laut zu hören waren. Vielleicht ließe sich hier eine Lösung finden.

Our weekend in Berlin was crowned with a visit to “Fischer & Lustig”. We didn't have a reservation and we were still able to get a table. We were warmly welcomed and served by Saskia, whose cheerful nature put us in a good mood. We will remember our stay in this rather rustic restaurant with a lot of charm: very tasty food, beautifully presented and super nice staff. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back! Absolutely recommended!

Very very bad service. I was asked to wait for 5 minutes until a free table was available. After 15 minutes I asked and THEN got a table! Nevertheless, other guests who arrived later than me were pushed forward. Service very bad; no asking if “everything is ok”, no asking if you would like any more drinks… No comparison to “Jäger & Lustig” Definitely needs improvement!!!!!

Die Liebe zum Beruf (Koch und Servicepersonal) sind in diesem Restaurant sehr gut erkennbar. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Inmitten von vielen Restaurants, die ausgerichtet sind auf Touristen in dieser historischen Umgebung, ist hier eine Gelegenheit auch für Berliner wunderbar zu speisen.

We went to this restaurant twice with 4 people each time and tried different main dishes. The food was very tasty, but unfortunately the portions were very small. The restaurant is lovingly and originally furnished. What was unpleasant for us, however, was that the ventilation was set very high and it was therefore very drafty in our seats.

I am shocked and in horror at the service provided today, it WAS a beautiful evening strolling in the old town that ended on a devastating note. Myself and friends sat in the garden area ordered a round of drinks and then, nothing. Nothing came... No drinks. No joy. No order. We were left dead and ignored by the waitress who even covered her face with the menu....ask she walked by. We had even ordered our drinks...and she continued to do this..so bizarre. We were left for 30 mins...she continued to ignore us. You think this is a joke ha. No. Think Again. Tragic Service.

Wir waren zu viert am Sonntagabend da während des Festival of Lights. Das Restaurant war gut besucht und es war ausreichend Personal da, um einen reibungslosen Service zu gewährleisten. Alle waren freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr um unser Wohlbefinden bemüht. Das Essen war sehr gut bis auf die Beilagen zur Scholle. Die Scholle war sehr gut, aber die Drillinge hart und der Salat etwas lieblos. Fischgulasch war super, auch der Zander und die Königsberger Klopse. Mein persönliches Highlight war der Kalte Hund.

Great food. Love the selection of fish dishes. I had the cod with lentils which was delicious. Our waiter was fabulous- very friendly and helpful. It was busy on a Saturday night but we felt well looked after and the atmosphere was good. Would highly recommend.

The only thing we can rate is the poor quality of service. We had to wait 20 minutes to get a menu and another 30 minutes to decide to leave because there was no one serving. That's almost an hour of waiting to leave on an empty stomach...

Wir haben uns hier sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Servicemitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, aber nicht "aufdringlich". Die Abläufe waren zügig, Die Qualität des Angebotes ist sehr gut - reichhaltig, aber nicht übertrieben viel. Hier findet jeder etwas, egal ob Fisch- oder Fleischesser oder Vegetarier. Wir hatten drei verschiedene Vorspeisen und fünf verschiedene Gerichte und jeder von uns fünf war mit seiner Bestellung sehr zufrieden. Die Preise sind zwar im "oberen Mittelfeld", was aber in dieser Lage, bei dem von uns erlebten Serviceniveau und der Qualität der Speisen in Ordnung geht. Also von uns gibt es eine klare Empfehlung!

Tolles Restaurant mit einer unglaublich vielseitigen Karte, wo wirklich jeder etwas für sich finden sollte. Es gibt weit mehr als Fisch, wobei dieser sehr raffiniert präsentiert wird. Ob BBQ Lachs auf Pfifferlingen oder Wels: vier Gerichte für unser Quartett und vier kulinarische Volltreffer. Trotz viel Betrieb, war das Personal auch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Sehr gern wieder!
