Das Dal Makhni schmeckte nur nach Chili, das Knoblauch-Naan fehlte, die reservierten Plätze blieben leer, obwohl wir zweimal darum gebeten hatten, dort sitzen zu dürfen, und die Papadams konnten nicht geröstet werden. Das Käse-Naan war in Ordnung.

Super leckeres Essen, der beste Mango Lassi und die besten Samosa die ich kennen gelernt habe, gilt auch für das Naan. Auch Service ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, Preise sind für die Lage wirklich gut.

Hatten vor längerer Zeit hier immer mal das Mittagsmenü gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Service war immer sehr freundlich. Die letzte Bestellung (3x Mittagsmenü) war leider enttäuschend. Qualität (lasch gewürzt) und Portionsgröße hat sehr abgenommen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Swaad. Es war sehr lecker und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Hauptspeisen gut, Vorspeisen und Hauslimonaden waren eine Katastrophe (Bathura und gemischte Vorspeisenplatten waren schon wieder kalt und null knusprig, das Bathura ungewürzt und schon wieder in sich zusammen gefallen, Hauslimonade viel zu süß und chemischer Geschmack), der Fußboden im WC klebrig. Service freundlich, aber unaufmerksam - sie hätten sehen können, dass das Bathura zusammen gefallen war. Fazit: keine durchgängige Qualität

Lecker und schnell. Komme immer wieder gern hierher. Manchmal gibt es ein paar Verständigungsprobleme - falscher Kaffee gebracht oder Getränk vergessen oder Schwierigkeiten mit Bewirtungsbelegen. Aber sind nur Kleinigkeiten.

Leider ungeniessbares Essen - wird in keinem Fall dem eigenen Anspruch gerecht. Service war extrem langsam und unfreundlich, Wartezeiten lange und sie vergassen zwei Bestellungen und brachten diese viel zu spät Für das, was es da gibt, viel!! zu teuer

Sehr schönes indisches Restaurant mit rundum überzeugendem Erlebnis. Das Essen war hervorragend gewürzt, frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich authentisch. Besonders die Vielfalt der Gewürze und die liebevolle Präsentation haben überzeugt. Auch der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein

Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut empfehlen. Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker, frisch zubereitet und man merkt sofort die Qualität der Zutaten. Besonders die Gewürze und die authentischen Aromen machen jedes Gericht zu etwas Besonderem. Das ist eine leckere und dazu gesunde Abwechslung zum üblichen Fettigen Essen in Frankfurt. Der Service ist top – sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Ebenfalls ist die Lage Top. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut fair. Für die Qualität und Portionen bekommt man wirklich viel. Das ist das besondere an diesem Restaurant.

Letztens mit ein paar Freunden spontan dort gewesen, wirklich sehr leckeres Essen und als würde das nicht reichen noch eine sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung. Das Sprichwort „Kunde ist König“ wird hier wirklich in die Tat umgesetzt.

Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte war sehr vielfältig und das Essen was fabelhaft. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Würde es jedem weiter empfehlen.

Das Essen war köstlich, und es waren viele Einheimische dort, was immer einen besseren Eindruck macht. Der Kellner war überaus freundlich, das Essen kam blitzschnell und war wirklich sehr lecker.

Wie immer lecker, der Service freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Was ich nicht verstehe, das es, besonders für einen Freitag relativ leer war, da alles stimmig ist.

Der Service ist 1A und für die Freundlichkeit hätte das Restaurant 10 Sterne verdient. Der Mango Lassi hat auch super geschmeckt, aber die Essensportionen sind sehr klein und leider war das Essen eher geschmacklos, vielleicht möchte man die Europäer mit der Schärfe nicht verjagen. Leider hatte ich auch ein wenig Magenprobleme im Anschluss..

Indisches Essen ist mein Lieblingsessen im Ausland, das Essen war wie erwartet, ähnlich wie in anderen Restaurants, in denen ich gegessen habe, aber etwas teurer und die Portionen waren kleiner, der Kellner war schnell und hilfsbereit.

Das Essen war hervorragend! Gagan hat uns erstklassige Geräte serviert. Die 45-minütige Fahrt hat sich absolut gelohnt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Gagan war mein Kellner und hat mich aufmerksam und hervorragend bedient. Alle Gerichte, die ich bestellt habe, waren von höchster Qualität – perfekt gewürzt und nicht zu fettig. Dank der durchgehenden Öffnungszeiten sonntags von früh bis spät kann man jederzeit während eines sonnigen Spaziergangs durch Frankfurt vorbeischauen. Dieses Restaurant ist einer der Geheimtipps in Frankfurt!

Either there's been a change of ownership or there's a staffing problem in the kitchen, as well as in the front of house. Normally, this place is a guarantee for excellent Indian food and a pleasant atmosphere (papadums as a complimentary appetizer, good food and wine recommendations, a small complimentary liqueur after the meal). On my last visit, we were served by a gentleman who spoke only English (which wasn't a problem for us technically, but still a bit annoying) and who seems to be the new owner (or restaurant manager). The menus weren't handed out until everyone was seated at the table. So, if you wait, you don't get anything to drink. No papadums (which is a shame, but acceptable), and no one even asked if we wanted an appetizer. I only received the menu with seasonal specials after explicitly asking for it. I ordered duck (which I had here last year and it was delicious) in curry sauce. When I asked if it was a creamy sauce, the answer was no. I added that I'd prefer it a bit spicier. What I got was a creamy tomato sauce, extremely blandly seasoned. It was nothing like the depth and complexity of the spice blends usually used here! A few pieces of duck, apparently cooked skin and all, floated in this sauce. Not only was the amount of meat disappointingly small, but half of it was inedible mush (tough skin and fat). Of course, I wasn't asked if it was good. The pile of duck skin on my plate was completely ignored. A little later, while we were still enjoying a glass of wine, the place was noisily clearing up. A real shame. We definitely won't be back anytime soon.

A beautiful place, great atmosphere, and very good Indian food. Gagan, the man who served us, was simply friendly and very attentive. Felt very comfortable. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Either something was forgotten with my order, or this is the biggest flop I've ever experienced ordering food. The taste was okay. For over €18, I got four pieces of chicken thrown together with salad and two slices of naan bread, completely haphazardly thrown together?! Ridiculous in my opinion. I'll never order from there again. No, I didn't eat any of it before taking the photo!

Not good Indian food! Chili paneer tasted like a spicy sweet and sour sauce, another dish as if it had been soaked in rose water. Garlic naan was good and the service was friendly. But the current 4.7 stars are unjustified!

We've been there several times now and just recently again. We always received friendly service. The food was always delicious and authentic. Of course, it wasn't authentically spicy; you have to request it separately, or sometimes they even asked, but that's kind of normal. Most people here in Germany couldn't possibly eat or tolerate authentic Indian spiciness. I also wonder how anyone can spend €60-70 per person there (as stated in another review).

I know Swaad from occasional visits and have always been impressed by the good quality. The service, too. However, the latter has taken a significant hit. This happened like this: On July 2nd, I had an appointment with the owner's son to discuss details for a catering event on July 14th. The menu was finalized, and I asked for a quote as soon as possible. This was promised. So everything's fine? Unfortunately not, because I haven't received this quote to this day (July 11th). There has been no other contact whatsoever. This is not only poor service, but also inconsiderate. After this experience, Swaad has one less customer (they don't have that many anyway).

Food supposed to be gluten free, wasn’t. I explained it very thoroughly cause I suffer for a couple of weeks now. I begged the waiter several times to ask the kitchen staff cause they usually know since he did not know what gluten is. This is unacceptable. I’ll suffer now plus won’t get my money back…this is a real disease! Learn your job please.

Our favorite Indian restaurant in Frankfurt! Swaade won us over from the first visit and has now become a place we return to again and again. Everything is perfect here: amazingly delicious dishes with authentic spices, a cozy atmosphere and truly soulful service. The staff always greets you with warmth and attention, creating the feeling that you have come to visit good friends. If you want a real taste of India, this is the place for you! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The tandoori dishes are amazing, and the curries are also highly recommended. The countless vegan and vegetarian options, as well as the impeccable service, are particularly noteworthy. We have been to Swaad so many times and for us it is the best Indian restaurant in Frankfurt. The food is incredibly tasty, the atmosphere is very nice and the service is extremely warm and friendly!

Unfortunately disappointing. Ordered a mango chicken and picked it up. Unfortunately, the meat was extremely tough and the sauce was as runny as water. Thin in taste. Mango Lassi and Garlic Naan were again good. It's a shame, I can't come here anymore.

Ordered here with three friends via Wolt, everyone didn't think it was that great, rather bland, very sweet, not that authentic. It was the first time that I had to season Indian food myself.

For us it was a direct hit! The spiciness of the food - if you order spicy - was at the limit for me, but just enough for my wife, so perfectly balanced! The taste was sensational, the atmosphere was very appealing - we have our new favorite Indian!

New owner for six months. Beautifully furnished, fabric tablecloth, starched dinnerware, real rose in the vase on the table. Salty lassi very good. Lamb curry with tender lamb, chicken jalfrezi with a fine curry mixture and pleasant spiciness. The entire staff was extremely nice. Price fair, especially the large bottle of water for 5.90 instead of almost twice as much in the city center. We'll be back!

Very, very tasty Indian food in a cozy atmosphere. The food was very good. I had menu 2 with various meat dishes, salad and dessert (see photo) for 22 euros. The drinks were also very tasty. The waitress was very attentive and served us everything correctly. Highly recommended!!
