Sehr nett, lecker und im Garten hinten kann man gemütlich sitzen. Noch vor einer Veranstaltung in der Jahrunderthalle was richtig leckeres Essen. Dann mit dem Bus weiter. Geparkt haben wir auf dem PnR Sindlingen Bahnhof.

Die Aromen haben mich direkt in die Straßen von Chennai versetzt! Fantastisch!

Sehr große Auswahl an typischen Gerichten. Uns hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Besonders empfehlen wir die Dosas. Die Preise sind auch fair und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir gerne wieder. 😊👍🏼

Für alle, die Lust auf südindische, insbesondere tamilische Küche (vegetarisch und nicht-vegetarisch) haben, ist dies ein großartiger Ort in der Nähe von Frankfurt. Der Service ist hervorragend und der Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Ich war in den letzten Jahren mehrmals dort und kann nur Positives berichten. Authentisches Seeraga Samba Mutton Biryani, Kizhi Parotta, Chicken 65 und frische Limonade mit Ananas-Kesari sollten Sie sich nicht entgehen lassen. Vegetarier werden von den verschiedenen Dosa-Varianten, insbesondere der Masala Dosa mit frisch gemahlenem Kokosnuss-Chutney, begeistert sein – ein Genuss, der nostalgische Erinnerungen an die Heimat weckt.

Hervorragendes Essen, nettes Personal und alles, was wir bestellt haben, war perfekt (10/10). Wir kommen gerne wieder, wann immer es möglich ist.

Original südindische Küche, sehr authentisch, Auswahl zwischen mittelscharf (für Europäer) und indisch scharf (Hot hot hot!). Die Bedienung ist nett und spricht drei Sprachen: deutsch, englisch und kanada. Sehr gute Dhosas und Talis!

Wir haben hier schon mehrfach gut gegessen und wurden nie enttäuscht. Der Preis ist angemessen. Leider sind die Räumlichkeiten etwas beengt.

Das Curry mit Reis und Knoblauch-Naan war einfach köstlich. Unser Kellner war außerdem sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir waren schon öfters in dem Restaurant. Es ist ein kleines, feines Lokal mit einem wunderschönen, gemütlichen Ambiente. Der Service ist top und wir lieben besonders das indische Essen, weil es eine andere indische Küche bietet, als sonst der Standard. Das Essen ist geschmacklich großartig und ich kann es nur empfehlen. 😀👍

Das Lamm-Biryani und das Kongu-Curry schmecken jetzt nicht mehr so ​​gut. Mir hat es nicht geschmeckt. Auch das Kongu-Curry schmeckt nicht mehr wie früher. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob sich etwas verändert hat! Die Gerichte sind zwar etwas teuer, aber authentisch südindisch, nur die Dosas schmecken mir nicht.

Ich war heute im Indian Pepper zum Pongal-Mittagessen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet!

Der Service von Logan war erstklassig, und Chinnathambi kam persönlich vorbei, um sich zu vergewissern, dass alles in Ordnung war – und das war es auch. Das Chettinad-Hähnchen war traditionell zubereitet, und die Ghee Podi Dosa war hervorragend. Dem Mutton Sukka fehlte es jedoch an Geschmack.

Ich bestellte Biryani und Chicken 65. Beides war altbacken, was zu Magenbeschwerden führte.

Das Essen war köstlich, besonders die Dosa und Madhu Vada. Der Kellner gab uns hilfreiche Empfehlungen. Die Portionen waren ausreichend für zwei Personen.

True authentic South Indian flavours. Loved the freshness of homemade spices in the food. You can actually feel it. The service is also good. Don’t expect an absolute fine dine luxurious feel but if you are a food lover you will love it.

Noㅋㅋㅋ It said it opens at 12 and it also said open on the restaurant's main door so I went in but there was no one there, not even an employee. Even one employee saw me waiting and saying hello but instead of saying hello, he ignored me and smiled before going back into the kitchen. Is this discrimination..ㅋㅋㅋ I waited for 10 minutes and called out several times but there was no answer so I got upset and left. Please do business properly ㅠㅠ

In my experience the food was tasty. The service was good and friendly waiter.

Service is commendable. Staff is really polite. Taste does not standout as much though. Tried vegetarian biryani and chilli paneer and they were good (again not standout!). Prices slightly higher than you'd expect, given that location is away from city centre. They have special thalis almost everyday.

I have no words to describe how tasty this food was at this restaurant. I wish we had such tasty food in Berlin too. This was Indian dinner with family, I’m always sceptical about Indian restaurants here. They serve mostly Europeanised food, bland, not spicy, just add almond/ cashew whatever cream in food and make colourful This place serves authentic South Indian food. A good start with Gobi Manchurians and mixed veggie/ Non veggie starters. Their south Indian veg Thali is amazing, this Sagu, Dosa, Pulav and sambar are tastes like any home made in south India. They have several Chettinad varieties, varieties of Biriyanis. This place is somehow not centre and has less seatings. So I would suggest to reserve a table before you show up. We were 9 people, it was a perfect family dinner. If you’re in Frankfurt, don’t miss this place to eat Indian food.

One of the best Indian restaurant that is closest to Wiesbaden. Better than a couple of Indian restaurants that I had visited in Wiesbaden.

The tip from our friends from India was definitely worth it. Delicious food and a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We'll be happy to come back and try spicier dishes next time, as the "German-spicy" is very mild. =)

We went there for dinner on June 8th with four adults and two children. Parking is a bit difficult. The lovely outdoor area is right next to a busy road. The interior exudes an Indian atmosphere and is fine. The menu is extensive and varied. Unfortunately, the papadums only came in one sauce. We ordered a starter platter and were disappointed. The price is far too high for small portions of fried vegetables. The service needs improvement. Chicken nuggets for a child as a main course came with the starter. While clearing the table, the waiter knocked over a glass without any apology. The various main courses were tasty and fine. But it seemed as if they were more or less always the same sauce, each with a little extra spice and special side dishes. The restaurant is very flexible in terms of spiciness. The rice was a bit sticky, but fine. There were few options that were suitable for children.

We ate there after our vacation; highly recommended. We had the non-veg Thali and everything was simply delicious! You should be able to eat spicy food, because even medium-spicy food is quite something. It's and always will be an Indian restaurant :) 5/5 stars.

The restaurant is under staffed. Even sufficient food is not there for feeding customers during their opened hours. The restaurant is congested in such a way that cooking smoke and smells sometimes enter into our dining hall. Even if reservations are open, still most of the food items will not be available after 20:00 hrs.

The masala dosa is the best in Frankfurt. Crispy and tasty. Most recommended item. Seating arrangement inside is slightly congested, but the dosa covers up for that.

Extremely disappointing experience. The service was not just poor — it was outright unprofessional. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality; instead, we were made to feel like a burden from the moment we sat down. The staff was clearly in a hurry to get rid of us, constantly pushing us to finish our meal and, shockingly, presenting the bill even before we were done eating. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and shows a complete disregard for basic customer respect. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they enjoy being rushed out the door. The management seriously needs to rethink their approach to customer service.

Good resturant to satisfy your indian food craving. It tastes close to home and a good variety of dishes are available on the menu. We had the veg thali, non veg thali and the mutton dosa.

The Indian Pepper in Frankfurt-Sindlingen impresses with authentic Indian cuisine and a large selection of vegetarian dishes. The cozy atmosphere, the beautiful summer garden and the friendly service make the visit particularly pleasant. Due to its popularity, reservations are recommended.

We asked for tap water they didnt provide they were asking for money and they were rude

The service was slow and mediocre friendly, the food all looked the same and wasn't really tasty and we have been through many Indians all over the world. The naan was very dry and crumbly, the lassi was way too thick and too warm. Reordering was difficult because no one came for ages. Food was ordered mild and was so spicy that you could hardly eat it, no one apologized when you mentioned it! Apparently the food was just warmed up because it came very quickly. The rice was also overcooked and comes into an ugly glass salad bowl and therefore gets cold quickly.

Super Delicious food. We ate Chicken 65, Ghee Podi Idly and Pollachi Chicken. All tasted authentic. Well behaved, soft spoken employees. Parking spaces for at least 3 cars, else on the street.

We took a tasting menu: everything was delicious!!!! It's a shame that it's so far from our home in Cologne, because it's a restaurant that amazed us with the flavor of its dishes. I highly recommend it. Above all, let yourself be guided by the waiter, who really put together a selection of exquisite typical foods for us. And for each dish he also explained a little about the history of the recipe and the Indian region of origin. Really good!

Authentic South Indian restaurant. Very good quality Fresh ingredients and wonderful taste . Oh and the idly was fantastic. Just like how my grandmother used to make ! Update 2023: we recently went for a special festival lunch. The spread was fantastic served on the authentic banana Leaf and tasted good too. Their service was really fast. I tried the madras folter Coffee for the first time today and I can vouch for it as one of the best tasting one tried so far in Germany. Update 2024 : the south indian tiffin menu on weekdays is fantastic and worth the price. I loved the sambar idly the most .

Delicious food. The levels of spiciness should be viewed with caution. If it's too spicy, you can make the food milder with cream or yogurt. The taste is very good and more authentic than many other Indian restaurants.

That's what I call an Indian restaurant... Amid the gold and wood, among Indian statues, pictures and instruments, there is great - and probably authentic - food. Well prepared and served. The only minor drawback - you can't get very far with German as your language... Indian or at least English is an advantage here. Otherwise an absolute must for lovers of Indian food…

Beautiful restaurant close to the airport. There are a lot of south Indian specialties on the menu, which was a nice surprise. All dishes were fresh and flavors authentic. The curry with rice was delicious as was the fried cauliflower. Friendly and attentive staff.

It is one of the best South Indian restaurant, but that doesn't mean it doesn't serves tasty North Indian dishes. I've here for dine-in couple of times, taken away too. I've invited for lunch at couple of places where Indian Pepper has provided the catering to those people residence, and the food was really hot and top of the marks for taste. The owner and staff are very friendly and polite. It has parking space for 3 cars there, but lots of road side free parking right outside the restaurant. A highly recommended place for enjoying Indian dishes and meals.

Price performance was fair & the food was delicious. Highly recommended for lunch, only €10 for a rice meat curry dish. Waiter could only speak English.

We were here with the Schlemmerblock. We would still be treated great. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is nice, a bit crowded, but the overall package is harmonious. The shop is quite small, but almost constantly full. Apart from us, there were almost only Indian families in the restaurant. We had the Samos as a starter and then the Mango and the Butter Chicken. An absolute highlight in terms of taste. We love going out for Indian food often, it was the best we've had in a long time. We'll definitely be back.

Best authentic South Indian food.

We ate chicken full meals on Sunday(18.08.2024) and my entire family is having food poisoning. The watermelon juice I received along with the meals was full of sugar and I suspect that it was spoilt too. We drank a little and then poured it out. I have had meals here before but this is the first time faced such a problem. I request the team to look into this and avoid such mishappenings in future .

We visited Indian Pepper after a long time. Now they have a summer garden outside and it was really pleasant to sit there on a sunny day. They have sunday special Thali but we decided to try other items. So, ordered a starter plate and chilli paneer as appetizers. We all loved the chilli paneer. For main course, we ordered parottas, along with south indian dishes, egg kothu parotta and everything tasted authentic. A must visit if you are looking for authentic south Indian restaurant in Frankfurt region.

We ended up here because of the voucher book and I have to say: My lamb vindaloo was very tasty, as was my companion's chicken tikka masala, the atmosphere was pleasant and the many guests of Indian origin suggest that the food was also authentic. Next time we will try the impressive paper dosas that are also served here.

Had dinner there with Indian customers and it was a great evening thanks to the great food and drink. Service was quick and very friendly. The only detraction is the off-putting visual impression from the outside.

Authentic Indian restaurant. We sat inside. Very nice atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed. The menu is really big, there is a lot to choose from. The service was really nice, we were repeatedly asked if everything was okay, if we would like anything else and we were also offered a chai. The food was of great quality, everything was to the point and really tasty. We paid €50 for 2 people, drinks, starter and main course, which is really a good price. If we lived here, we would be there much more often :)

This restaurant is only recommended. The dishes are very authentic and taste incredibly good. Due to the very traditional cooking style, we can only recommend this restaurant. If you're lucky, you might even meet one or two Indian celebrities here. We will be back!

Unfortunately.. it was rather a bad experience at the restaurant for us.. We went as a family with high expectations and the food, especially, Biryani was below average.. Mutton in the Biryani was not cooked properly and all the side dishes and gravies had an extreme amount of coconut added to them.. To our surprise , even the service was kind of rude and below average..

For South Indian its good for north indian its okok.

We went several times, for Onam and for normal dinners. They serve a nice and well prepared variety of South Indian dishes, partially even based on family recipes. If you want to explore South Indian/Tamil cuisine, this is definitely a place to recommend. The owners are super nice. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the food!

We went to this restaurant twice, once on our way to Swiz from Amsterdam and also while coming back. Our experience the first time was amazing, the food is genuinely one of the best out there, while coming back, as it was a Sunday, I ordered the Sunday special thali, podi idly and mysore masala dosa, everything was great again, they even offered a place in the garden and a highchair for our 1 year old. As a south Indian food lover, salna when served with biryani is one of my fav items. Unfortunately, salna tasted like water and when I shared this feedback with the Indian girl staff, she couldn’t care less and then the guy/owner I guess came to check if everything is okay, I told him the same thing and he immediately went to check, brought a replacement and humbly said we are also working on our mistakes, they forgot to add the salt, this 2min conversation is what changes this review to 5 from 3. As a marketing professional, I can’t overstate how imp customer service is!! Good luck to your team!

Original Biriyani lovers, must try Ambur Biriyani here. Try the real taste of authentic South Indian food here. Germans or people who fear spicy food make sure to check which dish suits your taste.

The food was great, the staff was nice and the dining room was beautifully designed. Unfortunately, going to the toilet was sobering... if a little was invested here, there would definitely be full points or stars :-)

The food was great. I've eaten there several times. But I only ate there once. I highly recommend the restaurant for non-vegetarians. For vegetarians too, if you have paneer tikka masala and other Indian vegetarian curries. This is a great restaurant
