We were there with a group of 7 people plus a baby. It was just really great! We haven't experienced such attentive service in a long time. The food and drinks came quickly, you can look into the kitchen and see the food being cooked. We were immediately brought a high chair and a plate for our daughter including cutlery and when our daughter dropped a spoon and an employee saw it, they picked it up if we weren't quick enough and offered to wash it up. Very, very child-friendly from start to finish. And there was enough space too. The food was just great! We had the mixed starter platter and each a main course. It was very tasty throughout! It's a shame that this shop doesn't exist in our home country. We would be regular guests and will definitely visit him again on our next visit to Hamburg.

I tested another restaurant in the chain. Once again I can say that the service is friendly and good, and the service staff are not intrusive. At dinner I decided on a daily special with a mixed assortment. The plate was well sorted, the selection from the menu was interesting with an excellent mix. As with SVAAdish Hoheluft, I left satisfied and can say it was delicious. I will definitely come here again for a cozy meal. My personal type, the mint ginger tea with honey, just great.

I had a good experience overall. The food was tasty and well-prepared, with a nice variety of options to choose from. The ambience was pleasant—comfortable seating, inviting decor, and a relaxed atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. Would definitely consider coming back again!

Atmosphere and service were great however food quantity and quality was below average… thali was offered for 24 euro approximately but not enough quantity for one person to eat… also ordered mango chicken curry and was very too sweet due to more sugar added…and very expensive but doesn’t worth it in terms of quality and quality of food served.. wouldn’t recommend the food however atmosphere and service is very good…

SVAAdish has become an absolute favorite Indian for us - and not without reason. The dishes are consistently authentic, prepared with attention to detail and full of flavor. Particularly noteworthy are the Butter Chicken and Gobi Manchurian. The butter chicken is wonderfully creamy, perfectly seasoned and just to eat. The naan is nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – exactly how it should be. But all the other dishes we have tried so far have also been a hit.

My wife and I often have lunch at Svaadish-Hoheluft. There we usually order thali vegetarian or with chicken – always perfect. BUT! Last week I ordered my dinner from Svaadish-Winterhude through Wolt. The following dishes were chosen: 3. Dahi Bhalla Chaat and 8. Svaadish Style Gobi Munchurian No. 8 was fried cauliflower - the frying fat didn't smell quite as good by the end of the evening. The dessert was lentil balls with yogurt and basically tasteless. I was so hungry in the evening that I ate everything. THE DAY AFTER: 2 days in the toilet and a lot of sleep were necessary in order to be able to walk upright again. The visit to the pharmacy and the medication Imodium acute helped me get through the days. Undoubtedly my nausea comes from this order and therefore I absolutely cannot recommend these two dishes! I only give it 2 stars because the food has always been good.

Nice atmosphere, service nothing special, food good. BUT: for the really high prices, I would have expected more from the quality of the food. The drinks are tiny and also very expensive. I won't be coming back, I'd rather go to the India snack bar around the corner because the price-performance ratio is right.

Gokol and aniket are the best bar tenders. And can't miss Prashant the Best Waiter.

Such a lovely restaurant. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the ambiance is lovely and welcoming, and the food was fantastic. We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night, but we still had a lovely evening. Thank you, I highly recommend it.

Softest chicken tandoori that I ever ate 🤤 The place is a bit hidden and surprisingly empty, but the food is very good. I will be honest and say that it is not very cheap for a lunch and for the portions, but the quality really makes it a special experience. The servers were very friendly and they speak German and English. I also really recommend trying the mango lassi, it tastes like it is made from real sweet mangoes. 🥰

It was my first time eating Indian food in Hamburg and I was really impressed. Great service with all kinds of questions about how you would like the dish and then a really tasty surprise comes. If you want to try street food style and home made combined, I can only recommend it 👍

We were here as a tourist. Perfect place to have a nice experience and tasty food. Prashanth was very friendly, smiling and catered to our Indian and kids tastebuds. We tried Vada Pav, dahi balla, chicken tikka, mango lassi, chole bathura, gulab jamun, fresh lime soda - five star rating!

Extremely delicious! It's really worth a visit! There was a large vegan and vegetarian selection and the mango lassi was as fruity as I have ever experienced. In general, the selection of drinks with your own cocktails is great! A lot of things are really true here. Ambience, food and service. You have to dig a little deeper into your pockets for this fun and it's best to make a reservation, but you also get something in return.

Friendly staff who like to ask several times if everything is OK. Attentive...but not intrusive. My lamb mince was delicious...unfortunately I couldn't click on it in the list...then I'll write it here. If you like Indian food...you'll feel at home...if you don't know it...it's a good place to get to know it .

It was my first time there with a few colleagues, the atmosphere was great! In the restaurant it smelled very much like food, very stuffy air, down towards the toilets it smelled very musty. The service was nice, the food was well, the biggest point is that the food was hot, I think the prices were pretty hefty. The food was nicely presented but in my opinion that was about it. Among other things, the salads were packed into the small bowls using hands without gloves, and they were eaten between tasks without washing their hands. I would simply recommend gloves! Cocktails were so-so, the price was very high, and they weren't that tasty, so you could try them out, but no one said yes, either too sour or too heavy with alcohol. Dessert is also quite expensive.

On the whole the food is ok, just the portion is smaller than many other Indians. We were served by an employee who had a bad cold and was pulling his nose the whole time. Sick in bed after two days. It's a shame because it's simply a no go for a restaurant.

We had a very good, entertaining evening at SVAAdish Winterhude. Service and food were wonderful.

I had reserved a table with my girlfriend at 2 p.m. on Valentine's Day, a week in advance with the message: "A nice seat for 2 please (Valentine's Day)". When we arrived we received a friendly welcome, but when we wanted to sit down at the “red corners” we were told that these seats are only intended for five people. (Another couple - 2 people were eating at a table like that at that moment. So we were lied straight to our faces.) We were then told that we should sit in the 2-person seats against the wall, despite a reservation and until 4 p.m. at the most - We weren't planning on staying for 2 hours anyway, but that came across a bit promptly. It was so damn uncomfortable sitting and eating against the wall of the couch with your legs floating in the air and no way to put them down. During this time, the restaurant was sparsely occupied until the end and the red tables were not filled until the end of our visit. There were at least 2 of the 3 red tables free. I have the feeling that because we are a younger customer we were treated worse, despite having a reservation and being told that we would like to sit at a nicer table. At least the food was tasty, but I couldn't enjoy it, but I won't come to this Svaadish again and especially not on Valentine's Day. Maybe we were just unlucky because this restaurant seems to have a good rating, which unfortunately I can't understand.

Very fine and apparently very authentic Indian restaurant. The online reservation was easy and the reception was friendly. I was happy about the many vegan options. The menu also includes great non-alcoholic drinks. Everything was very tasty, unreservedly recommended.

I would prefer to give this restaurant 100 stars instead of 5. The food is absolutely heavenly. It tastes so good that I would like to go there every day. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the restaurant is easily accessible for wheelchair users, even if the front ramp is broken, the back ramp works. The restaurant itself is also very clean and modern. Overall, absolutely recommended!

I ordered Chicken Jalfrezi home and had exactly 5 small pieces of chicken in the dish for €16.90. Price performance is nowhere near right.

I was in the area by chance and tried out a lunch menu. Very friendly, fast service (Mr. Wilbur). Plus a meal that turned out to be a real treat (Chicken Thali). One dish seasoned a little with cinnamon. Plus authentic. Gladly again - reminds me of Mumbai.

A nice place to stay. Quality of the food is great, service is very nice. Dogs are welcome. I would have been happy with at least one vegan dessert, unfortunately there was none.

We were at SVAAdish Winterhude last night and absolutely loved it! As soon as we arrived we were greeted very warmly - our waiter Flo in particular sweetened our evening with his friendly and courteous manner. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, everything was made possible so that we could still get a great place on a busy Friday evening. The service was first class and we felt completely at home. A big thank you to the team.

Big compliments to the service. They work very well together and everything works smoothly as well as the food coming very quickly. Special thanks go to Florian, who gave us excellent advice and was always concerned about our well-being. (You are no longer used to such excellent service these days.) The food was excellent. You are asked whether you want it spicy or mild and it is served exactly as you order it. Price performance is really great for what you get. The four of us paid 160€ with starters, main courses, several drinks and a bottle of wine. It was a great experience! Keep it up. We'd love to come back.

We were there for lunch. As usual, there is an extra menu for lunch. At around 11 euros, the prices for the dishes are completely reasonable. The portions are also at lunchtime so that you get full.

We were there on October 11th, 2024 with a small group of women and celebrated our birthday - and it was incredibly beautiful!! We were looked after in such an incredibly charming and attentive way - at the end we were even given the most delicious dessert platter in the world on the house, including a Happy Birthday song... We were really touched. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. The SVAAdish Winterhude is now a must for me whenever I'm in my Hamburg again.

We recently had a spontaneous meal here and were kind enough to get a table spontaneously. Our waiter Florian was super personable and repeatedly asked about our well-being. The food was super tasty and prepared very quickly. We had an appetizer platter beforehand that was incredibly tasty and very filling. As a main course I had the tikka masala with chicken and found the ingredients super fresh and delicious! We were very, very impressed with the food, restaurant and especially the service and will be back very soon! Keep it up to the kitchen and also to the service staff

No doubt that food was good.It was authentic indisch food . The only thing I don't liked is the Attitude of the Staff, actually we had not reserve the table and suddenly visited this restaurant and the staff was like you have only 1 hour to finish up the food.I would like to suggest to owner kindly train your employees that if customer has not reserved the table still he/she is the Customer of Restaurant not personally.They pay not have free food.Please improve the attitude of the staff.Much required.

Our first visit to SVAAdish Winterhude was a complete success! The atmosphere is pleasant and a little quieter than in the branch in Hoheluft, which we really enjoyed. The ambience is attractive and inviting – perfect for a relaxed evening. The SVAAdish team was extremely attentive and friendly, so we felt completely comfortable. The Indian food was absolutely delicious and the recommendation for the lamb dish turned out to be a hit - a fantastic choice! We also tried garlic naan, samosas, mango chutney and mango lassi - everything impressed us. The Mango Lassi in particular was wonderfully refreshing and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more dishes.
