We recently had a meal in this beautifully decorated restaurant with a group of 7 people. Despite there being a lot of guests, the food came quickly and tasted great! I had the paneer butter masala and highly recommend it. The waitress provided great service. Since everything fit really well, 5 stars from me. It certainly wasn't the last visit!

As a hotel guest at the HOOD HOUSE you have direct access to the restaurant. We immediately felt at home when we were well placed. After a delicious starter, I ate an excellently cooked lamb shank with a wonderfully subtle Indian taste (see menu no. 20). Our second main course order was a vegetarian lentil curry, which my companion was also very happy with. In my opinion, the sample didn't stand up to comparison with my lamb, but luckily the tastes are different.

The Svaadish Restaurant in Winterhude offers a great combination of authentic Indian cuisine and stylish ambience. The dishes are creative, full of flavor and always freshly prepared. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service, which makes every visit a special experience. Perfect for Indian cuisine lovers!

As a group of six people, we ordered different dishes. We didn't have to wait long. The order came at the same time, the dishes were beautifully prepared and just as delicious! The price/performance ratio is very good for the location in Winterhude. We also liked the ambience and despite the large number of guests, it wasn't too loud and it was easy to have a conversation. In our case the service was outstanding: very friendly and attentive! We'll be happy to come back, thank you for the lovely evening.

We arrived in Hamburg late in the evening and wanted to have a little something to eat. We discovered this beautiful street food restaurant right next to our hotel. Despite the late hour, we were warmly welcomed. The Indian dishes were very tasty and freshly prepared. At the end we even got a drink on the house. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the modern, attractive decor of the restaurant tops it all off. We can highly recommend SVAAdish!

The food was fine, portion quite big but sadly the staff was so unfriendly. I will not go there again.

My partner and I dined at this restaurant last Thursday. The food is very tasty and the portions are abundant. The service is also very friendly and on the spot. As you can see from the pictures, I ordered a Chicken Jalfrezi, which I liked a lot - the curry sauce was very creamy and sweet-flavoured. As a dessert we shared a hot chocolate cake, which was good, however the inside wasn’t creamy in terms of consistence, and personally, we did not really like the hard-candies (smarties-like) on top of the tart and ice cream. All in all, we recommend the restaurant because we had a pleasant and tasty dinner and we enjoyed the service. We hope to come back soon!

Great, courteous service, very tasty food and although the restaurant is quite large, you can have a good chat and sit comfortably. It's nice that there are also many vegan and vegetarian dishes to choose from.

From the service to the food, everything was perfect!

I am an Indian, and have been visiting this restaurant for the past few months, rather quite frequently. Overall I like the restaurant as the food is very authentic (just need to ask for indian spicy), and the furnishing is modern (unlike many restaurants in germany). The choice of dishes in the menu is good, and the drinks that I tried, are also great. Would definitely recommend the Rogan Josh. Also the Thali is a great choice for Lunch. The only aspect which can be improved is the service, which can sometimes be a little discourteous. Overall I enjoy the place and will continue to visit often.

The restaurant was amazing. The food was very tasty and fresh, and the drinks were amazing. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were a group of 14 people, and we enjoyed everything from starters to dessert to Indian Chai. Awesome.

A great Indian street food restaurant. We were here for the first time today and were greeted warmly and given a nice place on the outdoor terrace. We immediately noticed the friendly service, that alone is worth a star. The food was very good and very attractively presented. Prices are okay and the price-performance ratio is right. The interior was also very attractive and beautifully decorated. Toilets in the basement kept fairly clean. So overall we really enjoyed it and will definitely come back. Thank you for the excellent service. Would give you six stars☆☆☆☆☆☆ if I could.

Awesome ambience. The only Indian restaurant that I have been to in Germany that is spacious, modern, good food and drinks. This place offers a good variety of drinks (nimbu paani, lassi, chai etc). and a broad range of food items. We tried pani puri, spinach dahi puri from Brunch menu. Was yummy!

Ambient is super, we start with starters mixed non veg mix which made us stomach full.we were four friends we keep on ordering I ordered papad for my daughter which was served with 3 different chunty all were so delicious. She ate one papad completely. We ordered drinks like Nimbu pani,Mango lassi and Kurkuma Ginger .Mango lassi was top noch and other 2 were not so great. We have ordered Gobi Manchurian it was so yummy ,one should try this out. Main dish we have ordered Chicken pav and Lamm pav and Chole Bhature..Pav was so good and delicious. Chole was average. Finally we had Homemade mango kulfi and Hot chocolate cake both were so yummy and delicious, I suggest try both. Presentation, ambiance, cleanliness all are so good and maintained very well. One who served us Nepal boy was so humble and smily face served us in a professional manner,Thank you. Try once and comment me on it.

One of the best indian food experiences in hamburg and in Germany I have had so far. Taste, presentation, atmosphere, service, all really good. Prices are okay too iny opinion. We only had veggie options so I can't speak to the non vegetarian offers.

It was a great pleasure to be your guest. Your Dhal reminded me of Haveli in Punjab. Makhani Chicken is beyond expectations. The meet is super tender and the curry deserves a Michelin star ⭐ Your masala chai reminded me early morning tea with biscuits in Gujrat. We visited the restaurant because of the good reviews and were very impressed. I haven't had such good Indian food in a long time, with great vegan options. Great service and great ambience. Highly recommended.

I've eaten here 4 times and will be back. My favorite Indian restaurant in Hamburg. No. 35 with lamb is an absolute favorite 🤩 As well as the house cocktail Jannat are so incredibly delicious!!! Service could ask a little more often if you have anything else you would like.

The last failure. Placed an order through Wolt and ordered 2 x Makhani and got 1x naan bread for free for €18 on offer. All that was served was the sauce, rice and bread. I think it's a complete impudence to offer customers only sauce and that too for the price. When ordering online, it should have been made clearer that this was only the SOẞE and not the DISH. Extremely unprofessional and simply disgraceful. In addition, you couldn't choose the level of spiciness or the ingredients (meat) when ordering. Just ridiculous. And seriously, who really orders just the sauce? Furthermore, what was on the invoice was pointed out in the telephone conversation. I said 2x Makhani. As if the situation was already clear to him. You really have to think about whether the operator wants it that way…… (Fraudulent deception)

I usually enjoy dining at both Svaadish restaurants and appreciate the quality of the Indian food they offer. However, today I found the behavior of one of the staff members to be quite aggressive and childish - who kept arguing like a child; which was quite disappointing and unprofessional. The food and other staffs, as always, good. I miss the friendly and polite staff who used to work at the Winterhude location. Although this one is conveniently close to my house, I'll be opting for the Hoheluft branch from now on.

The SVAAdish was packed - and that on a Wednesday evening. Food was prepared in an open/visible kitchen and tasted very good so far. Small point of criticism: I ordered my food extra spicy and it was at most slightly spicy. Apparently people here simply don't trust Germans, which is a shame. Still 5 stars.

We stayed in the directly adjacent HoodHouse Hotel and were always attracted by the inviting ambience. We were there on a Friday evening. The waitresses were incredibly nice and despite there being a lot of guests, the service was very quick. Both the food and the cocktails were amazing! Very nicely prepared and incredibly tasty. Can only recommend a visit there. Little tip: Have the fried cauliflower as a starter! Probably totally underestimated but very tasty!

There were 6 of us there, even the office dog was allowed in. Thanks for that. Food came super quickly and everyone was very happy. I had a bit of a problem with the sharpness, the others didn't have any problems at all. We can recommend the cocktails, as well as the desserts.

The food was the best Indian Food I've ever eaten in all of Hamburg as well as the atmosphere and the aesthetics were mindblowing. You can even see the kitchen and how they are making everything and keeping everything clean. This is one of the few places in germany where you get authentic north indian food. The staff was really friendly, however they forgot our order twice which is why we waited a long time until we could finally eat

Very good Indian - in Winterhude 1a! Large selection - both vegetarian and with different options. Meat. Portions are quite large - so choose only a small starter or share with several people.

Exceed all expectations. Because it was attached to our hotel, I wrongly assumed it would be bland - i was very very wrong. The food was delicious. There are plenty of food options, vegan, lamb, chicken, vegan chicken. etc. Dishes can be spicy or mild. Side dishes are plentiful and there is a large drink selection. Portions are plentiful and well presented. Dishes are flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere was exceptional. Lighting was dimmed so it made it the ambiance feel unique, the music was at a great volume where you can hear it but it didnt interfere with you conversation. Tables were well spaced from each other. And of course, the staff was clean, well mannered, helpful, and attententive. I wouldn't rank Indian as one of my favorite cuisines - however, even i can admit this place was amazing. Would highly recommend!

Chicken Salfrezi (tomato curry with chicken, paneer and vegetables), chicken tikka and pakora with dips and vhapati - all via Lieferando for around €52 within 75 minutes during peak evening time. Food as always A+, salfrezi was almost 900g (!), pakora fantastic, unfortunately chapati became a bit soft/moist. But super tasty!

We were there for lunch. As usual, there is an extra menu for lunch. At around 11 euros, the prices for the dishes are completely reasonable. The portions are also at lunchtime so that you get full.

A big plus point despite the size, the volume is pleasant, apparently there are good elements built in to absorb the sound. The service was very friendly and prompt. I ate here last week and it was delicious! Unfortunately the waiting time was a little longer than expected, which is why 1 star was deducted. Nevertheless, I will eat here more often just because of the great selection of vegan dishes :)

The food was amazing, perfectly seasoned and the chicken was very tender. I can definitely recommend the Chicken65 starter. The ambience is modern, but also a bit cool. It didn't seem that inviting and looks a bit worn out. The service staff was very nice and accommodating. However, she seemed a bit distracted and was more engaged in conversation with the bartender than with the guests.

The food was - from the starter (Mixed Sharing Starter VEG) to the main course (Aloo Gobhi Masala) to the dessert (Homemade Mango Kulfi) - very tasty. The homemade drinks (Indian Cooler & Turmeric Ginger Lychee Lemonade) were too.

Svaadish is a tremendously delicious, clean, well-situated and very contemporary restaurant. Excellent English and German and of course Hindi speaking staff. Open kitchen and kitchen staff is very organized and are working according hygiene standards! Great cocktails and dishes for all requirements available. Cooked to perfection! We can highly recommend this restaurant.

I'm always on the lookout for good Indian food, and this one never fails! I love the Butter Paneer, the service is great and honestly all dishes are good - and huge. Make sure you're hungry if you come here :) The drinks and cocktails are also great and the service is super nice. I definitely recommend coming here!

Stylish Indian restaurant. The presentation of the food is slightly different from other Indian restaurants. Pappadam, for example, only comes with a sauce. Chicken Tikka (see photo) dish is also rather different. Staff very friendly. Prices rather below average.

I've been there twice so far and have had the butter chicken curry, the naan bread with cheese and the fried cauliflower. The food simply tastes incredibly good! Our waitress was the same both times and is just great. I can highly recommend it.

We came here because of the good reviews, but unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. First we waited almost an hour for the starter, while the main course was already being eaten at the neighboring tables that came later. Then the chicken in the Tikka Masala was unfortunately extremely stringy, fatty and not edible. Chicken korma was good. When we pointed this out to the waiter at the end, he didn't seem to be interested at all and preferred to communicate with other tables. As an “apology” we were offered 2 shots. Sorry, but never again!

Went there for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. Pretty modern decor. Food was tasty and plentiful. It was one of our birthdays, but we hadn't announced it. The waiters were very attentive and probably noticed. The birthday child received a dessert plate with fireworks and appropriate Indian happy birthday music. We thought it was really great. Can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Very good ambience and i thik one of the best indian restaurant in Hamburg but the quantity of snacks isnt sufficient according to prices. Also the taste was 7/10 and it wasnt perfect. The chat look more delicious but wasnt that good. The chutney.and curd were not sufficient and also there wasnt any onion in it, so that wierd accordint to indian standards. We also Brownie and that wad just perfect. It was an OK experience overall.

Einfach perfekt. Die Kellner sind organisiert genau so wie die Köche. Das Essen ist sehr gut bestellen sie immer eine Vorspeise.

Wir sind eher zufällig auf das Restaurant gekommen und absolut begeistert. Total ungewohnt war das offene und moderne Design, was man aus anderen indischen Restaurants so kennt. Hat uns aber auf jeden Fall gefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sorgte sofort dafür, das man sich willkommen gefühlt hat. Das Essen war verdammt lecker und die Portionen ausreichend groß, was mich bei den fairen Preisen sehr positiv überrascht hat. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen, das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren im Rahmen einer Verlobungsfeier mit rund 25 Menschen dort. Die Vorspeisen waren super lecker und mein Highlight, aber die Hauptspeisen auch super! Obwohl wir so viele waren, haben wir uns alle sehr gesehen gefühlt. Das Personal war stets freundlich und nicht gestresst. Ich bin sehr Zufrieden mit dem Nachmittag!
