Overall a great restaurant! The food was delicious, the atmosphere made you feel good and the service from the waiter Floh made us completely happy... we'll be back!!

Our first visit to SVAAdish Winterhude was a complete success! The atmosphere is pleasant and a little quieter than in the branch in Hoheluft, which we really enjoyed. The ambience is attractive and inviting – perfect for a relaxed evening. The SVAAdish team was extremely attentive and friendly, so we felt completely comfortable. The Indian food was absolutely delicious and the recommendation for the lamb dish turned out to be a hit - a fantastic choice! We also tried garlic naan, samosas, mango chutney and mango lassi - everything impressed us. The Mango Lassi in particular was wonderfully refreshing and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more dishes.

The Narn bread was freshly baked in the authentic Oben.

We had a delicious meal here in the evening without a reservation during the week. Including a shared starter, main course and espresso afterwards, the two of us spent around €65. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The super friendly service from Flo who served us was outstanding! Gladly again at any time.

Were there today and had super nice service, Flo was very personable and kind. We were constantly asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. It's not usual. I think people are often neglected in other restaurants, but here we didn't have the feeling at all I can only say positive things about the food, everything was super tasty and the perfect portion 👌🏻 And what I have to say about the parking situation is that I think it's great that they have parking options right in front of the restaurant, so I really recommend it overall and will definitely go there again

Nice atmosphere and good service. However, the food is average and inauthentic at best. I have been to Svaadish restaurants several times by invitation and each time I have been disappointed with the food. Feel free to cook something more authentic and with more flavor.

The delivery came on time but unfortunately the wrong food was included. There was also a different label on the lid than what was ordered. So I'm calling. Then it was said that mistakes happen to everyone and whether I could come by to pick up new food and a drink on the house. I said no, because I didn't have it delivered without reason. Couldn't leave. The next moment it was said that there could be no mistake because only the labeling was wrong. Nothing wrong ever comes out. I'm unsure whether mistakes happen or not. 😅 I said it tastes good according to the label. They didn't want to help me. Well then I ate the wrong thing. It wasn't that great either. In any case, the concession wasn't there. 😕

Amazing food. However, looks Iike some dish had a little baking soda, maybe the Batura? If you're reactive to soda, batura is not recommended.

We were there for lunch. As usual, there is an extra menu for lunch. At around 11 euros, the prices for the dishes are completely reasonable. The portions are also at lunchtime so that you get full.

Super nice service but the food isn't exactly great and also quite expensive. The vegetarian starters are the usual fried pakoras and samos. Rather dry. 18 euros is too much for that. Palal Tikka is fried cheese with a few slices of pepper, onion, some mint sauce. Also dry. 15.50 for that? Even the super attentive service can't save anything.

The restaurant is very tasty, everything looks clean and sterile, and you can see the chef cooking, which is important. This kind of street food is the best in the restaurant. The only downside is that we were served by a new employee who didn’t know much. I would give him more time to learn how to interact with customers.

Ein sehr gelungener Abend bei SVAAdish. Wir waren Gäste des HoodHouse Winterhude und sind am ersten Abend direkt unten im Hotel bei SVAAdish eingekehrt. Ein stylisches indisches Restaurant, welches mit cooler Einrichtung und einem Blick in die offene Küche glänzen kann. Wir hatten als Vorspeise den Blumenkohl, welchen wir wirklich sehr empfehlen können und als Hauptgericht einmal das Tagesgericht und einmal ein Curry welches wir zuletzt auf Mauritius gegessen hatten. Karahi-chicken findet man nicht überall aber dieses hier war wirklich sehr gut. Es hat mich 1:1 an das im Urlaub auf Mauritius erinnert welches von „locals“ zubereitet wurde. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und schnell. Wir mussten weder auf Vorspeise noch auf den Hauptgang besonders lang warten. Mein Highlight war der Blick in die offene Küche

We recently had a meal in this beautifully decorated restaurant with a group of 7 people. Despite there being a lot of guests, the food came quickly and tasted great! I had the paneer butter masala and highly recommend it. The waitress provided great service. Since everything fit really well, 5 stars from me. It certainly wasn't the last visit!

As a hotel guest at the HOOD HOUSE you have direct access to the restaurant. We immediately felt at home when we were well placed. After a delicious starter, I ate an excellently cooked lamb shank with a wonderfully subtle Indian taste (see menu no. 20). Our second main course order was a vegetarian lentil curry, which my companion was also very happy with. In my opinion, the sample didn't stand up to comparison with my lamb, but luckily the tastes are different.

As a group of six people, we ordered different dishes. We didn't have to wait long. The order came at the same time, the dishes were beautifully prepared and just as delicious! The price/performance ratio is very good for the location in Winterhude. We also liked the ambience and despite the large number of guests, it wasn't too loud and it was easy to have a conversation. In our case the service was outstanding: very friendly and attentive! We'll be happy to come back, thank you for the lovely evening.

We arrived in Hamburg late in the evening and wanted to have a little something to eat. We discovered this beautiful street food restaurant right next to our hotel. Despite the late hour, we were warmly welcomed. The Indian dishes were very tasty and freshly prepared. At the end we even got a drink on the house. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the modern, attractive decor of the restaurant tops it all off. We can highly recommend SVAAdish!

The food was fine, portion quite big but sadly the staff was so unfriendly. I will not go there again.

My partner and I dined at this restaurant last Thursday. The food is very tasty and the portions are abundant. The service is also very friendly and on the spot. As you can see from the pictures, I ordered a Chicken Jalfrezi, which I liked a lot - the curry sauce was very creamy and sweet-flavoured. As a dessert we shared a hot chocolate cake, which was good, however the inside wasn’t creamy in terms of consistence, and personally, we did not really like the hard-candies (smarties-like) on top of the tart and ice cream. All in all, we recommend the restaurant because we had a pleasant and tasty dinner and we enjoyed the service. We hope to come back soon!

Great, courteous service, very tasty food and although the restaurant is quite large, you can have a good chat and sit comfortably. It's nice that there are also many vegan and vegetarian dishes to choose from.

From the service to the food, everything was perfect!

I am an Indian, and have been visiting this restaurant for the past few months, rather quite frequently. Overall I like the restaurant as the food is very authentic (just need to ask for indian spicy), and the furnishing is modern (unlike many restaurants in germany). The choice of dishes in the menu is good, and the drinks that I tried, are also great. Would definitely recommend the Rogan Josh. Also the Thali is a great choice for Lunch. The only aspect which can be improved is the service, which can sometimes be a little discourteous. Overall I enjoy the place and will continue to visit often.

The restaurant was amazing. The food was very tasty and fresh, and the drinks were amazing. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were a group of 14 people, and we enjoyed everything from starters to dessert to Indian Chai. Awesome.

A great Indian street food restaurant. We were here for the first time today and were greeted warmly and given a nice place on the outdoor terrace. We immediately noticed the friendly service, that alone is worth a star. The food was very good and very attractively presented. Prices are okay and the price-performance ratio is right. The interior was also very attractive and beautifully decorated. Toilets in the basement kept fairly clean. So overall we really enjoyed it and will definitely come back. Thank you for the excellent service. Would give you six stars☆☆☆☆☆☆ if I could.

Awesome ambience. The only Indian restaurant that I have been to in Germany that is spacious, modern, good food and drinks. This place offers a good variety of drinks (nimbu paani, lassi, chai etc). and a broad range of food items. We tried pani puri, spinach dahi puri from Brunch menu. Was yummy!

Ambient is super, we start with starters mixed non veg mix which made us stomach full.we were four friends we keep on ordering I ordered papad for my daughter which was served with 3 different chunty all were so delicious. She ate one papad completely. We ordered drinks like Nimbu pani,Mango lassi and Kurkuma Ginger .Mango lassi was top noch and other 2 were not so great. We have ordered Gobi Manchurian it was so yummy ,one should try this out. Main dish we have ordered Chicken pav and Lamm pav and Chole Bhature..Pav was so good and delicious. Chole was average. Finally we had Homemade mango kulfi and Hot chocolate cake both were so yummy and delicious, I suggest try both. Presentation, ambiance, cleanliness all are so good and maintained very well. One who served us Nepal boy was so humble and smily face served us in a professional manner,Thank you. Try once and comment me on it.

One of the best indian food experiences in hamburg and in Germany I have had so far. Taste, presentation, atmosphere, service, all really good. Prices are okay too iny opinion. We only had veggie options so I can't speak to the non vegetarian offers.

It was a great pleasure to be your guest. Your Dhal reminded me of Haveli in Punjab. Makhani Chicken is beyond expectations. The meet is super tender and the curry deserves a Michelin star ⭐ Your masala chai reminded me early morning tea with biscuits in Gujrat. I've eaten here 4 times and will be back. My favorite Indian restaurant in Hamburg. No. 35 with lamb is an absolute favorite 🤩 As well as the house cocktail Jannat are so incredibly delicious!!! Service could ask a little more often if you have anything else you would like.

The last failure. Placed an order through Wolt and ordered 2 x Makhani and got 1x naan bread for free for €18 on offer. All that was served was the sauce, rice and bread. I think it's a complete impudence to offer customers only sauce and that too for the price. When ordering online, it should have been made clearer that this was only the SOẞE and not the DISH. Extremely unprofessional and simply disgraceful. In addition, you couldn't choose the level of spiciness or the ingredients (meat) when ordering. Just ridiculous. And seriously, who really orders just the sauce? Furthermore, what was on the invoice was pointed out in the telephone conversation. I said 2x Makhani. As if the situation was already clear to him. You really have to think about whether the operator wants it that way…… (Fraudulent deception)

I usually enjoy dining at both Svaadish restaurants and appreciate the quality of the Indian food they offer. However, today I found the behavior of one of the staff members to be quite aggressive and childish - who kept arguing like a child; which was quite disappointing and unprofessional. The food and other staffs, as always, good. I miss the friendly and polite staff who used to work at the Winterhude location. Although this one is conveniently close to my house, I'll be opting for the Hoheluft branch from now on.

The SVAAdish was packed - and that on a Wednesday evening. Food was prepared in an open/visible kitchen and tasted very good so far. Small point of criticism: I ordered my food extra spicy and it was at most slightly spicy. Apparently people here simply don't trust Germans, which is a shame. Still 5 stars.

We stayed in the directly adjacent HoodHouse Hotel and were always attracted by the inviting ambience. We were there on a Friday evening. The waitresses were incredibly nice and despite there being a lot of guests, the service was very quick. Both the food and the cocktails were amazing! Very nicely prepared and incredibly tasty. Can only recommend a visit there. Little tip: Have the fried cauliflower as a starter! Probably totally underestimated but very tasty!

There were 6 of us there, even the office dog was allowed in. Thanks for that. Food came super quickly and everyone was very happy. I had a bit of a problem with the sharpness, the others didn't have any problems at all. We can recommend the cocktails, as well as the desserts.

The food was the best Indian Food I've ever eaten in all of Hamburg as well as the atmosphere and the aesthetics were mindblowing. You can even see the kitchen and how they are making everything and keeping everything clean. This is one of the few places in germany where you get authentic north indian food. The staff was really friendly, however they forgot our order twice which is why we waited a long time until we could finally eat

Exceed all expectations. Because it was attached to our hotel, I wrongly assumed it would be bland - i was very very wrong. The food was delicious. There are plenty of food options, vegan, lamb, chicken, vegan chicken. etc. Dishes can be spicy or mild. Side dishes are plentiful and there is a large drink selection. Portions are plentiful and well presented. Dishes are flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere was exceptional. Lighting was dimmed so it made it the ambiance feel unique, the music was at a great volume where you can hear it but it didnt interfere with you conversation. Tables were well spaced from each other. And of course, the staff was clean, well mannered, helpful, and attententive. I wouldn't rank Indian as one of my favorite cuisines - however, even i can admit this place was amazing. Would highly recommend!
