We had dinner here a few days ago and really enjoyed it. The dishes are very well seasoned, the selection isn't as extensive as some other places, but still large enough, and the service is very friendly. Highly recommended.

I happened upon this restaurant by chance because I had an appointment nearby. The food was so beautifully cooked that I've been going there regularly ever since, sampling the entire menu. It's always delicious. Another positive is that every lunch menu is preceded by an incredibly delicious tomato soup. It's just a nice little token of appreciation, and, as I said, the soup is simply delicious. Thank you for this wonderful meal; I'll be back often.

I ordered at 21:50 from Bahrenfeld to me it is 10 minutes by car maximum they gladly took money and I have to write to Lieferando afterwards so that I can get my money back

We highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious. Superbly seasoned dishes with delicious, fluffy rice. Serve with naan bread to soak up the delicious sauce. Medium spice is perfectly adequate, as it brings out the spices beautifully. We'd be happy to come back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ashirwad India Restaurant & Delivery Service and have nothing but positive things to say! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you immediately notice the friendly and attentive atmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful, they immediately make you feel welcome and make you feel valued. What was particularly pleasant was that the service was very quick and attentive without being intrusive. The menu is both varied and inspiring. There is a large selection of traditional Indian dishes, but also creative new interpretations. I found the opportunity to put together my own bowl particularly exciting. This cool idea gives you the freedom to customize the meal according to your own taste and ensures that you can always try something new. There are so many delicious combinations that it's really fun to choose. The portions are huge and you definitely get more than you expect. The fresh ingredients are noticeable in every dish and you can immediately taste the quality that lies in the dishes. This is particularly important with Indian dishes, and Ashirwad offers excellent quality that you don't often find. The price-performance ratio is also very fair. For the generous portions and the high quality of the ingredients, the prices are absolutely justified. What also sets the restaurant apart is the many seating options. Whether inside or outside, there is plenty of space for everyone, which is particularly pleasant when there are lots of people. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and inviting, and you feel comfortable at all times. The variety of the menu is another big plus. It offers both classic Indian dishes that will delight every cuisine lover, as well as modern variations that surprise the palate in new ways. Regardless of whether you choose a traditional curry or a creatively put together bowl, the dishes are always fresh, delicious and perfectly balanced. In conclusion, Ashirwad India Restaurant & Delivery has definitely become one of my favorite places for authentic Indian cuisine. The combination of excellent service, delicious food and fair value for money makes it an absolutely recommended restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and can only recommend it to everyone!

The food itself was ok, the ambience was rather okay... The fact that someone with huge garbage bags next to you while you were eating was leaving the store and the door was cracked every time someone went in or out was less nice. In general it was somehow unpleasant and you didn't feel very comfortable there. I wouldn't want to go there again. And it was far too expensive for that.

It was really tasty - I can't remember if I've ever had better Indian food.

We ordered there. The dish delivered did not correspond to the description but to that of another dish. When we asked, we were told that the correct dish would be delivered later. When after more than an hour nothing happened, we called again and were told that everything was fine and that they couldn't help us. 2 hours of waiting are completely free. Customer service 0 stars never again

I ordered through Wolt at lunchtime because they had one of the shortest delivery times. The estimated time of 25-35 minutes was far from reality - an hour from order to delivery. I had palak paneer that tasted extremely bland and made me so sick after eating it that I assume the spinach wasn't stored or heated properly. It also came with a ranch dressing that we didn't order. The mango curry was probably better. I cannot recommend the restaurant for delivery.

Waited over an hour for the food and half the order was forgotten. Food is poor to okay, but unfortunately very unsatisfactory for the price. Drinks are billed with incorrect filling quantities (0.2 l get paid 0.4 l)

Geschmacklich war das Essen okay, eher fade für indisches Essen🍛 (Bewertung: 3/5). Meine Bestellung hat allerdings 2 Stunden und 45min gebraucht um anzukommen. Da ich mein Essen hier bestellt habe, kann ich nichts zum Ambiente sagen. Die angegebene Lieferzeit lag bei ca.30min. Angekommen ist es nach einer Stunde ohne Hauptspeise. Mir wurde gesagt, dass in 20min ein neuer Lieferant mit besagter Speise kommen würde, man hätte sie vergessen zuzubereiten. Bis dahin ist ja noch alles schön und gut, aber als dann wieder eine Stunde vergangen ist, beschloss ich dort anzurufen. Letztendlich ist die vollständige Lieferung um kurz vor 23:00 angekommen. Einzig gute Sache war der Mango Lassi 🥭 Zusammenfassend: Schlechte Organisation und durchschnittliches Essen

I can't comment on the food as I haven't eaten here. I would like to complain that the delivery people you ordered put your advertising flyers in all the mailboxes in my house with the sign "No advertising, please". This has apparently become normal today. But it only causes annoyance for me, so I won't be ordering from you again. I think it would be good if this feedback were passed on to the delivery providers and this behavior was stopped.

My review is based on the experience of my last order, which I summarize as follows: 1) The order for the time arrived 30 minutes later than stated, which can happen from time to time. 2) Unfortunately, half of the order was forgotten. 3) After more than 1.5 hours the rest of the order came, but the wrong dish. In addition, the additional dish promised for the inconvenience was not delivered. 4) The second half of the order was not only wrong, but was also a cheaper dish, so we essentially paid more than we ultimately consumed. 5) Taste: In addition to the rather neutral taste, we unfortunately also found hair in the food. PS: Spicy dishes are not remotely spicy. If a zero star rating were possible, I would have given it.

I have no idea what the food is like here. I will never visit this restaurant just because of the annoying advertising in the mailbox. If there's no advertising there, I don't want to find your trash in my mailbox every few weeks.

Mega boring, with no real taste. Chicken Tikka Masala, supposedly spicy, just didn't taste like anything. I found the packaging in cardboard positive, but it is only burned.

Worst experience ever! I have made it clear several times that I do not want any advertising in my mailbox. Still, this restaurant put their brochure in there. This shows a great lack of respect for the wishes of residents and shows that they do not care about data protection and privacy. This intrusive advertising made me avoid the restaurant even though I was originally interested. If they ignore the wishes of potential customers when advertising, what will the on-site service be like? I am extremely disappointed and will make sure my friends and family avoid this restaurant as well.

This wasn't my first time ordering there. Food was delivered on time. It was hot and very tasty. However, I was very surprised at the price increase from one card to the next. On average €3 more per meal. I ordered two meals and naan bread once and had to pay €8 more than the “old” menu. That's a lot. I would still order again as the food is really tasty and the delivery is friendly and on time.

The Owner Mr.Sharma is a person with a very big heart. He gives you much more that what you have ordered We had lunch chicken and prawn biryani for lunch (23rd march ) and on the other day (27mar 2024) went to pick up food which is always freshly made. I had the food delivered and I was more than disappointed! I can't really say anything about the service and the ambience because I ordered the food, the delivery person was very friendly. But when it comes to food, I regularly eat Indian food at Shikara and the like, but they were already closed so I ordered a chicken curry at Ashirwad, but what came was a liquid, watery meal with no taste. That's not possible and has little to do with Indian food!! I cannot recommend the restaurant and will not order there again!!

Das ist das langweiligste indische Essen, das ich je gekostet habe... Und das will was heißen bei der Gewürzreichen und scharfen indischen Küche. Geschmacklich eine wirkliche Nullnummer. Außerdem fehlten offensichtlich Zutaten. Ich hatte "Vegetable Biryani" gebr. Reis mit versch. Gemüse, Cashewkerne Rosinen, hausgem. Käse und "exotischen" Gewürzen da zu Raita. Es waren definitiv keine Rosinen und keine Cashews drin. Das Gemüse konnte man auch einzeln abzählen: ein paar Erbsen, winzige Pilzstücke und 2-3 Bulmenkohlteile. Auch im "Raita" Joghurt war Kreuzkümmel weder sicht- nicht schmeckbar. Wir haben nachgewürzt, damit es nach etwas schmeckte, und können das Essen leider nicht empfehlen.

Discovered this Indian restaurant in Bahrenfeld/Altona today. Delicious authentic Indian dishes perfectly grilled lamb and chicken tandoori and great starters.

The first impression when you enter the restaurant is: this could be better. But you shouldn't let that fool you. From a culinary point of view, everything is perfect from start to finish. There were four of us and we tried it among ourselves and everything was really extremely tasty. In terms of taste, nothing stands in the way of another visit. What I didn't like was the pricing. Ultimately, €18 for a simple curry is really a lot of money.
