Sushido in Nürnberg

It was okay, but I found it quite annoying that we weren't allowed to drink water and that suddenly we couldn't pay by card, which I don't understand. Nevertheless, the place is alright; it's quite good for sushi lovers, but they should work on their service a bit, as the man sounded a little rude. The women who prepared the food were quite lovely. The concept is very original, and during our visit to the city, we had gone to a similar place, but it was closed the next day, so we decided to come here. Stressful place, grumpy staff who ignore you, and quite expensive for what it is. Not recommended, and on top of that, you only have 45 minutes to eat, which they keep track of and kick you out of. Oh, and to top it all off, children pay the same as adults. Excuse me?? AVOID IT, TOTAL RIP-OFF!!!

The restaurant is truly fantastic and the food is excellent! Unfortunately, they need to organize the queue much better. Some people just push in, and the staff doesn't seem to mind. That's a shame, because otherwise everything would be perfect.

The sushi is okay; they put a lot of other things on the conveyor belt besides sushi! Be sure to note down your time when you arrive, because after 30 minutes the staff becomes completely rude and claims you've already exceeded the 45-minute limit! Since there's very little space there, you either have to put up with it or not go at all! Cash only!

Just walk in and eat good all-you-can-eat sushi for €17? Always happy to go. There's not really any service, just a conveyor belt (sometimes you don't get the sushi you specifically want right away), but I think it's great.

I wouldn't recommend it. Before my pregnancy, I ate there, and it was quite good. Now, after my pregnancy, I finally wanted to eat sushi again. I was so looking forward to it, so we went with the strollers, so we made our first trip, and then we were so disappointed! We were turned away. We weren't even allowed to sit outside. We weren't even allowed in; the staff were rude. I won't go there again. You could have at least sat outside with the stroller.

Excellent sushi. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, but I don't think that matters much considering it's all-you-can-eat. There's not much choice for vegetarians/vegans, though.

We decided to eat inside because the weather had changed. We were then shown to our seats inside and they very kindly pointed out that there were hooks where I could hang my bag. You get your own drinks from the fridge. We ordered food and waited maybe 10 minutes, and it was beautifully presented and very tasty, just enough. You have to go to the cashier to pay, but unfortunately they only accept cash. The restrooms are rather small but clean. All in all, I was very satisfied and would go again.

The two of us recently came here for dinner because we were really craving some running sushi. We arrived spontaneously and without a reservation on a weekday around 6:30 p.m. and were seated right away at the sushi conveyor belt. There was no wait, we were able to start eating right away and help ourselves to the passing plates. Drinks are self-service, straight from the refrigerator. The conveyor belt was continuously stocked with freshly prepared sushi and other small delicacies. What's especially nice is that you can watch the sushi chef preparing them... which makes the experience even more authentic. The taste of the sushi absolutely convinced us: fresh, well-seasoned, expertly prepared, and, above all, varied. There was always enough choice, so there was truly something for every taste. The price of €16.80 per person is completely justified in our opinion. The often-criticized 45-minute time limit didn't bother us at all, as we were more than full much sooner (and I really like to eat a lot 😅). The staff were consistently friendly and attentive. Important note: Only card payments are accepted – no cash. We will definitely be back, even if we have to travel from another city. Highly recommended for anyone who likes running sushi!

We were there for lunch on Wednesday. We were greeted and told to sit down. Unfortunately, as is common in Germany, you can't pay by card. The lunch special cost €16.80 plus €3 for a drink. The selection on the conveyor belt was so minimal that we spent minutes deciding which dish to try. We're not picky eaters either. What was also quite unpleasant was that you felt like you were being watched, and then you were told that you were only allowed to sit and eat for 45 minutes.

Good Morning Very disappointed after years of treating a regular customer like that and not even civilized because they can't even speak German. Poor Germany!

It is now more expensive at €16.80 at lunchtime and €17.80 in the evening and on Saturday. Drinks are of course not included (the opposite is stated in another review, but it's not true, maybe they didn't know that you have to pay for the drinks because you can get them yourself from a fridge). The sushi is tasty, fresh and worth the price. My recommendation is to eat outside of peak times, for example on Saturday afternoons.

The sushi was very tasty. The warm sushi was always freshly prepared and was crispy. The staff here are extremely nice and even ask if they should create something specific. Overall, we really liked it here and it definitely wasn't our last visit

With the “all you can eat” concept, you can eat as much sushi as you can in 45 minutes. Fresh, delicious sushi is served on a rotating table in the middle. We found the concept very entertaining. Moreover, it was very delicious. You should definitely try it. If you want, you can also choose from the a la carte menu. But we didn't need it.

The food is very good, but the shop is not suitable for large groups.

We were there for lunch for "alyou can eat" sushi. You sit next to each other on "bar stools" on the assembly line, which is a little cramped but sufficient for eating and putting down your empty plates. We found the quality of the sushi very good and also that the focus was on it, not like in many sushi chains with lots of other things but rather a small selection of fried foods such as mini spring rolls, dumplings and baked sushi. This means that it doesn't sit on the assembly line forever and becomes lukewarm, but is fresh. The sushi was excellent. You have to get the drinks from a refrigerator. If you would like other drinks, such as tea, you were not asked, so you would then have to approach the service people and ask for them. We enjoyed it very much and would come back if we were in Nuremberg again. Maybe some extra praise. The fried sushi was really good. You often can't eat them elsewhere because they are fried whole and then they become lukewarm at some point and simply become unappealing. Yesterday's were fresh, hot and sliced. Delicious.

Disappointment. You can only pay in cash. After eating I waited for my daughter to get money from the bank. Even though I was waiting in the corner and new customers were already sitting in my seat, we were charged a surcharge. What an impudence. The sushi had way too much cream cheese and the service wasn't particularly friendly. We're definitely not coming anymore. I had to give it a star. Oh and had to wait 20 minutes because of overcrowding. Then friends of the owners came and were allowed to come forward. All the guests waiting outside the door complained. It was pretty cheeky.

Running sushi without a lot of frills! You have 45 minutes, which is ok - because the chairs aren't the highlight ergonomically, so you wouldn't want to sit for hours anyway. Prices around 15-18 EUR depending on the time of day, good price/performance ratio. We were even asked if we wanted anything special - attentive!

Unfortunately, the sushi offered here is just average. There is too much cream cheese in the sushi. You can eat all you can eat here for up to 45 minutes. Unfortunately, after about 35 minutes, we were told several times that an additional charge would have to be paid after 45 minutes and that we had already been there for longer than 45 minutes. However, many others were there before us and they were not taught repeatedly.

The sushi is ok. Not very varied and mainly the cheap versions are served on the treadmill. Salmon rarely comes by. Tuna wasn't even in our selection. The cook/boss seems very harsh and unfriendly and you don't really feel welcome at first. This is supported by the emphatic reference to the 45 minute time limit and that you should just quickly hang your bag under the table. You have to/can take your own drinks from the fridge. The prices are ok. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is not comfortable due to the small space. The assembly line atmosphere is the concept behind running sushi. But it could be nicer, friendlier and more comfortable.

I went here for dinner with my sister and we were both extremely satisfied. you have 45 minutes to eat all you can for €16,80 (although they dont really look at the time in specific, we ate for an hour then they came and told us to finish up because our time was over). the food was really good. they make it next to the running sushi table so you see the food being made while you eat. they also constantly added new options of food and there was always something on the conveyor belt. there was also always a large variety of sushi (with salmon, crab, tofu, tuna, avocado, cream cheese, mango and so on). there was also various types of sushi including maki rolls, nigiri, fried sushi and more. they also had spring rolls and dumplings. what we also really enjoyed was the desserts. overall it was a very nice and cozy place. my sister is vegetarian and at first the majority if sushi was with fish. we ended up asking them if they could add more vegetarian options and the chef immediately started making vegetarian options. very good food and service especially for the price. i highly recommend:))

We have eaten at Sushido several times and have always been very satisfied. It's not particularly comfortable to sit in, but the sushi is really tasty and everything is always freshly prepared. We were there once shortly before closing time and we were even asked again if we had any further requests.

I come from Berlin and this is by far the best all you can eat shop I've been to so far. The price is also very very good. I'd love to come back when I'm in Nuremberg again.

We went to the running sushi, and it's already the fourth time we go since we found the restaurant. The running sushi has options for people like me and my friends (for example, we have people that cannot eat shrimp, are vegetarians, have lactose intolerance or don't like fish). The portions of the running sushi are good and have really good flavour. The speed of the running sushi is perfect, you can take a plate, eat and, almost without waiting, take another plate (I personally love this pace). They have an assortment of drinks to choose. The place is not that big, so you may have to wait 5-15 minutes when it is completely full, but we had luck the four times we went to eat there and didn'thave to wait.

Very tasty fresh sushi. Both fish and vegan barients are always coming off the production line. A smaller restaurant. With 16 seats on the treadmill. There is always something new and different on offer. Classic, INSIDE Out. Deep fried sushi. Dessert is added to the line every 20 minutes or so. The boss has a good overview and sense of when it's right. Not the cheapest option for all you can...but certainly one of the tastiest in Nuremberg I really enjoy coming here

You can't enjoy the food at all because you are sent out of the restaurant before the 45 minutes are up, and there wasn't even enough food on the conveyor belt so you can hardly get anything. It's actually a shame because the sushi you get there was quite tasty.

We actually really enjoyed being there and regularly. Approximately 3 times a month. Unfortunately we were pushed from place to place several times. As if that wasn't annoying enough, after less than 40 minutes we were informed that we were already well past the 45 minute time limit. It seemed to us as if they were just trying to make room quickly because all the seats were taken. Plus you can't even eat properly because there wasn't enough sushi. So we didn't receive more than 10 plates in half an hour. The fact that people like to grab three plates at once was ignored. The sushi itself is delicious, but the service is pure horror. My girlfriend and I will no longer eat here from now on.

Absolute disgrace! The three of us went to the all-you-can eat and sat at the buffet for about 30 minutes. Because all the seats were already occupied and new customers were already waiting, we were loudly asked by 3 (!) employees - in front of all other guests - to leave the buffet while we were eating and to pay immediately. Apart from the fact that we haven't even eaten for the permitted 45 minutes, this treatment is absolutely shameful and was so unpleasant for each of us that we will never visit this store again. The sushi here was more varied and, above all, of higher quality. We are still shocked and therefore only leave one star. Not recommended and therefore thumbs down 👎🏼

The place closes at 21:00. We came at 20:00 and 2 people took our place so we had to wait, when a place was available they started to shout "no more food no more food", when just two clients sat down 3 minutes before. They just did not want us and that is not a way to treat clients, and moreover, people.
