The sushi was delicious and the service was very friendly! The lighting could be a bit dimmer. But highly recommended!

The fish quality was top notch - our family absolutely loved the sashimi, all the nigiri and rolls especially the sake and ebi. It was one of the best quality we've had in Germany. Friendly couple owners. Feel spoiled - now that we can't trust sushi quality in Berlin compared to this! We bookmarked this place so we can return here when we're in Dusseldorf.

The sushi chef and the waitstaff were so friendly and warm! Fantastic, authentic sushi! At the end, they even gave us complimentary sake and plum wine to take home!

To be honest, it didn’t seem like a sushi restaurant run by Japanese people. When we went there as a group before, the other customers were made to wait an unusually long time. I can’t help but wonder—where has their sense of decency gone?

The rolls were delicious—the rice literally melted in your mouth! The Alaska Aburi set was simply incredible (thanks to reviewer Alessandro for the tip!). It was warm sushi with seared salmon, a delicious sauce, sesame seeds, and fresh onions. I'd especially like to mention the fast and attentive service. Before leaving Düsseldorf, we decided to stop in here, even though we were short on time—the chef prepared everything incredibly quickly. This is the perfect place for a romantic dinner: candles and fresh flowers on the tables. The restroom is incredibly clean and cozy (two-ply toilet paper and excellent hand napkins—a small, but nice touch!). The chef of this charming restaurant has traveled to many countries, constantly learning and perfecting his craft—and it shows in every dish. Huge respect and gratitude! ❤️ We've been here several times, and each time we were surprised why there were so few people in such a beautiful place. It's so quiet, cozy, and homey that you don't want to leave. This place deserves much more attention. 😌

The sushi was delicious. The service was also good, albeit a bit reserved. The ambiance wasn't great, but it was very clean and, despite the temperature being above 30 degrees Celsius, the air conditioning was very good.

The food at the restaurant was really delicious — it’s clear that the sushi was made by a skilled chef, and I definitely recommend it. However, the treatment we received from one of the female staff members was absolutely unacceptable. We patiently waited 25 minutes for our food after ordering, but when my girlfriend took a small sip of water from her own bottle, the woman suddenly started yelling at us in German. Even though she knew we didn’t speak German, she mumbled something like “this is a restaurant, you can't drink water here.” How did she know whether my girlfriend was sick or not? Maybe she needed to drink water for health reasons. I understand we could’ve politely asked first, but her reaction — scolding us in front of everyone — was completely out of line. Good food isn’t everything; the experience matters just as much, if not more. And for that reason, I strongly disapprove of how we were treated.

Very good sushi at reasonable prices (decent sushi is never cheap). It's authentic Japanese sushi, not the kind you get at all those Asian-fusion restaurants. The fish is fresh, and they serve fatty tuna, for example. The ambiance is typically unassuming Japanese, and the waitress speaks good German.

Definitely the best sushi in Düsseldorf! Watching the sushi master prepare everything fresh and with love, you'd never think the food was too expensive. There are plenty of places that serve significantly inferior quality for a few euros less. And who serves all that on a ship?? May retirement be a little longer! ❤️

Maybe it doesn't look like a hipster sushi bar, but you can't make sushi better... everything here is freshly prepared by the sushi master himself... if it is, it's authentic... from rice to fish, from freshly grated wasabi to vegetarian maki... extremely tasty... I've been there several times and have never been disappointed...

Sushi was okey but ours were not rolled well so they opened and became hard to eat with chopsticks. The taste was good. They use high quality ingredients. Some of the foods that we wanted were out of stock. The atmosphere was good but the smell inside was a little bit disturbing.

I stop by every time I go to Dusseldorf. Both Japanese-style nigiri sushi and overseas sushi rolls are delicious, and I'm always impressed by how beautiful they look. The hearty, thick salmon (we also had nigiri, Alaskan roll, and broiled salmon) is a particular favorite! The freshness of salmon may be better in Europe due to geography, but the sushi made using the master's technique is far more delicious than the more expensive packaged sushi from the supermarket. There are also sushi toppings that can only be found overseas, such as green onion tuna and Philadelphia, which are luxurious and satisfying. It may take a little longer because we don't have enough people, but the food is always great. Thank you for the meal. Especially recommended for Kraftwerk fans who come to Düsseldorf on a pilgrimage! It is decorated with a gold disc presented to Florian by Toshiba EMI. Apparently he was a regular customer here.

I was in Düsseldorf on Monday and wanted sushi. Unfortunately, this day is not the best for that. Due to a lack of alternatives, I went to the bar. The sushi was ok to good. I would have generously given 4 stars for that. I have to deduct a star for the ambience. It was more of a snack bar and there was some junk around. The cards weren't pretty. Unfortunately the service was bad. The lady of the house was in a bad mood. When I asked for some time to choose drinks, that was the only contact I had with the lady until I paid (I didn't feel like asking again). A robot brought the food to the table. And always with a loud melody. Tinkering on the way to the table and tinkling on the way back to the cook. It's funny a few times, but at some point it's just annoying. 1 star deduction for the service. Would not come back and therefore cannot recommend it. Sorry.

A cute little robot serves the food together with a waitress. I've never had such awesome tuna nigiri. The tuna melts in your mouth! Plus everyone is extremely friendly and sweet! We even got tempura on the house 💕 I dream about the tuna and I actually don't like it that much on nigiri!

Long lines on Immermannstrasse at other Japanese eateries, so tried this restaurant. The sushi was delicious. The tuna seemed to melt in your mouth. The staff is very friendly and the robot attendant is a nice addition. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back when we visit Düsseldorf. Also delicious matcha and we got tempura shrimp on the house!

Very good sushi at a fair price. Never too crowded because it's not ideally located and has a little simpler furnishings. Perfect service. We had the large sailing ship for 12 people and everyone was happy!

If I could I would give the sushi more than 5 stars! It was simply unbelievable how delicious the scallop and eel were! The service was very friendly and everything was authentic. We'll be back!

Unfortunately, I can't understand the positive reviews before me. When you enter the restaurant there is a very strong smell of fish and soy sauce. On a Sunday evening there was a yawning emptiness here. There were 3 guests (1 of them me) in the restaurant. The rice was extremely grainy and too firm. Among other things, this resulted in the rolls falling apart easily and the rice getting bigger in the mouth when chewed. The rolls were very dry and the amount of fish per roll was far too small, you almost had to look for it. It was the first time that I couldn't even eat half of the sushi in a restaurant because the quality was so bad. Both during and when paying for the meal, no one asked whether everything was okay. The robot that brings you food is a nice change. Unfortunately, if it doesn't taste good, that's no use.

An excellent quality of fish that is second to none! I think the sushi bar is an insider tip! Unfortunately too unknown on social media. If you want sushi without any newfangled frills and want to experience the pure, real taste, this is the place for you. The service is very neutral but polite (Japan style)

It deserves 10 stars🤩 The sushi are incredibly delicious, wonderful taste for reasonable price. Fresh, full of taste, perfect size. The chef is really professional and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxing background music and thematic decoration makes this place so nice. We also liked the digital waiter😀 The playing sound from the robot is hilarious, it sounds like a celebration! We were surprised once more, when got a complementary sashimi at the end of our meal. Our staying for lunch was perfect here! We left absolutelly full and happy! We will definitely come to this place again if we visit Düsseldorf.

The sushi is very good and reasonably priced. Although many fish are no longer available due to market conditions, what is available is pretty good. Better than many more expensive Dutch sushi restaurants. Although the old lady in charge of the reception was stern, she was not irresponsible or evasive. Maybe things would be better if you could speak German.

A very charming sushi shop in the heart of Düsseldorf. You should definitely bring your time, the sushi master takes his time and doesn't let himself be disturbed. Very impressive and beautiful to look at. We had gyoza as a starter, followed by the small sushi bridge. The appetizer was brought to the table by the absolutely cute cat robot with harmonious music. The ship was served by the master himself with a smile and a short explanation. A very quiet shop with a clear fish motto. The prices are quite reasonable but absolutely justified for the quality.

We had reserved a table. We had to wait at the door for 40 minutes even though no one was there before us. I could see some other customers complaining and leaving the restaurant because of the long wait. The restaurant wasn't even 40% full. It looks like it's run by just two inefficient people. They didn't even greet us at the entrance even though we were standing right in front and waiting for more than 40 minutes. Finally we had enough and left. I definitely won't go there again.

The very simple "store" was half empty and yet we were made to wait for over half an hour even with a reservation. We'd rather go somewhere else.

I couldn't recommend this place enough. I was here 4 months ago, yet I still remember it very vividly. The people working there were very nice. Best regards to them! The food was amongst the best food I've ever had. This sushi tops easily all the others I've ever tried. The taste, the feeling after the food... Everything was so good. The atmosphere as well, the decorations inside... As you walk in, you feel that you are in good hands. The menu is clear, filled with images that stay true to the food you get. The food is delivered to the table by the cutest robot, that also sings happily as it does so. If I ever come back to Dusseldorf, I am eating here again, no doubt! If you love sushi, you must come here!!

It's very stuffy inside, it smells of fish fries and it makes you feel uncomfortable, the sushi is delicious, it's a little bit chunky, the prices are not cheap, the most interesting thing is that a robot serves you food.

Quite inconspicuous ambience, not a “fancy” restaurant, but the sushi is THE BANG! The best sushi I've eaten in Germany for years.

Super leckeres Sushi, gute Qualität. Zwei Mankos: Es hat sehr lange gedauert bis das Essen kam und es ist alles andere als günstig. Aber von der Qualität hat es überzeugt. Wer nicht so aufs Geld achten muss und Zeit mitbringt kann dort sehr lecker essen.

Wie hier beschrieben zum Glück ein Hidden Champion und kein Insta-Spot der nur überhyped ist. Preise und Essen 5/5 und zudem 100% authentisch, sogar mit Video am TV wie der Fisch frisch zubereitet wird. Man sollte etwas Zeit mitbringen aber das ist ja das schöne daran. Und suuper sauber. Definitiv eine neue Standardadresse für Sushi.

Das Restaurant wirkt sehr unscheinbar und wir sind nur aufgrund der guten Bewertung und einem Kommentar, dass es ein "verstecktes Juwel" in Düsseldorf sei, hingegangen. Nach dem Essen können wir dieser Einschätzung nur vollkommen zustimmen! Das Restaurant bietet ein schönes, ruhiges und sehr angenehmes Ambiente. Wir wurden positiv von der großen und leckeren Auswahl an verschiedenen Fischsorten überrascht, vor allem vom "fettigen Thunfisch", den es fast nie in Deutschland in Sushi-Restaurants gibt. Die Bedienung war schnell, freundlich und wurde zudem von einem süßen Roboter unterstützt. Alles in allem gibt es eine 100%ige Empfehlung von mir für dieses Sushi-Juwel in Düsseldorf.

Das Essen wird frisch von einer kleinen Küchenchef zubereitet, entsprechend lang ist die Wartezeit! Die Bedienung ist nicht besonders freundlich. Das Ambiente ist einfach, die Gerichte werden von einem Robbi mit elektronischer Musik angekündigt serviert.

Super leckeres Essen, die Mitarbeiter sind allesamt sehr nett und fröhlich und Preis-Leistungsmäßig kann man sich vorne und hinten nicht beklagen. Bei einem Don bekommt eine volle Platte und selbst beim gegrillten aal ist der Reis komplett vom Fisch verdeckt. Wenn ich hier wohnen würde wäre das sofort ein Stammlokal für mich :)
