Delicious food. Besides sushi, there's also a small "hot" counter with spring rolls, chicken, fried vegetables, miso soup, etc. The service is friendly and attentive!

Delicious and varied sushi. I think it's a bit excessive that children aged 12 and over have to pay full price, as they don't eat a comparable amount to an adult.

We've been coming to this restaurant often for a year now. The sushi is really delicious and fresh, and there are many different varieties. The pieces are just a bit too big – sometimes I have to remove some rice to be able to eat them. It's a shame that the meat at the buffet (duck, chicken, lamb) isn't halal, so we can't eat any of it. Everything else tastes very good. The pieces could be a little smaller, and the restrooms should be cleaner for it to truly deserve 5 stars. The staff is super friendly. Overall, I recommend it and will definitely come back!

We've been regulars here for years. This time, we ordered a selection of the special boxes to go for a family celebration at home. The special boxes look exactly like the pictures on the website, decorate the table, and, of course, taste delicious as always. We'll definitely be back for more events. As a rough guide, we'd recommend about 20 boxes per person, so everyone will definitely be satisfied, even if they're really hungry. Thank you very much!

The worst restaurant we've ever visited! If your health, time, and money are important to you, avoid this place at all costs! The "sushi" (if you can even call it that) was disgusting, tasteless, and seemed old—probably from the day before or even older. After just a few bites, we had serious concerns about getting food poisoning. The conveyor belt on which the plates roll rattles loudly like a machine in a factory—absolutely unsuitable for a restaurant. The chairs are uncomfortable, much too high—you sit like you're sitting on a stool on an assembly line. The atmosphere is more reminiscent of a production hall than a restaurant. The smell throughout the room is awful—unpleasant, musty, and especially unbearable in the restroom. The restroom area is dirty and smelly—it's obviously rarely cleaned. You get the impression that hygiene isn't a priority here. Service? None. Cold, indifferent, disinterested. Clearly a case for the health department. We left the restaurant immediately – concerned for our health – and to this day, we can't understand how such a place is still open.

We've been coming to the Sushi Bar on and off for several years. Over time, I noticed, especially during the week, that the buffet/sushi bar was becoming more and more rice-heavy. Just too much rice for my taste. Conversely, the prices are certainly adjusted to the economy, but they are not exactly cheap. Still, none of it bothered me. But today we went to the sushi bar with our dog for the second time. The first time we asked if dogs were allowed, we were told "Dogs are welcome." We gave our puppies some fish from the bar and paid the full price per person for our dog/puppy (both times). Today I was surprised at the owner's statement when he said to my husband at the checkout "Some guests have complained about the dog, next time they come without a dog" my dog ​​sat on the floor under my chair and didn't make a sound. In addition, there were only 3 groups of 2 people there and my dog ​​was not visible to anyone. As a dog owner, I know that if someone is bothered by the dog, I will be spoken to by the disturbed person. That's why I think the owner was bothered by our dog. We don't come here anymore. This is my favorite sushi place around and all time favorite! The food is amazing and there are always fun new combos to try. My favorites are the spicy chicken rolls and the fried sushi which is always a must. The ice cream is so tasty with flavors like green tea and black sesame. The service is incredible and the workers are always helpful and friendly. One time I asked for fried sushi and they happily made some which totally made my night!

The service was also great and the overall experience was one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere—and we’ve eaten sushi all over the U.S. and Europe. 10/10 recommend.

Unfortunately I have to give one star. We were really disappointed after seeing all these positive reviews. It's obvious that these people have never eaten good sushi. You only spend €20, it's true, but the sushi are practically all with vegetables (I barely saw anyone with salmon), no tuna or anything else. The quality is mediocre and the rice sticky. Really sorry. Very little choice really, I wouldn't go back again

We always enjoy coming to Sushi Petrisberg because unfortunately it is only one of two with a treadmill in Trier. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, even if you call at short notice they will help you. There is something for everyone when it comes to sushi, including vegans and those who like to experiment (fretted sushi). In my opinion it could of course be more traditional sushi but that's not a bad thing. Looking forward to the next visit.

We thought we would try running sushi on our vacation. It was important to us here that it was fresh and that we could try lots of different things. Bestes Sushi in Trier einfach gut sehr nettes Personal

Wir waren schon einige Jahre nicht mehr im Sushi Petris und nach all den positiven Bewertungen haben wir es dann vergangenen Freitag auch nochmal ausprobiert. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, was den Eindruck vermittelt hat, dass die Bewertungen zutreffen. Leider war dem gar nicht so. Es gab kaum eine Auswahl an Sushi, immer das gleiche. Das warme Buffet war dreckig und das "frische" Essen wurde immer nur oben drauf geworfen, satt einen frischen Behälter zu nehmen. Auch verstehe ich nicht was Muffins oder Macaron mit japanischer Küche zutun haben. Für 30 Euro pro Person erwarte ich mehr und definitiv bessere Qualität. Wirklich sehr Schade, da wir es aus der Vergangenheit ganz anders kennen. Wir kommen nicht wieder.
