Sushi ONE Restaurant in Stuttgart

There were 4 of us eating, everyone had something different and everything was simply incredibly tasty. If you like matcha, you should definitely try the matcha ice cream for dessert, it tastes incredibly good! It's not the cheapest, but definitely worth the price for the quality. We had very nice service and the atmosphere was very relaxing. If you like sushi, this is definitely the place to go. I will definitely go there again. :)

Good food. You actually get served sushi, the sushi rice is not dominant. Unfortunately the restaurant is lacking a nice vibe. At 9.30 pm we’ve been asked to pay as they wanted to close the place, which is fine as we finished dinner, but I had loved them to Ask if we want anything else.

The sushi was tasty but nothing special. The waitress commented on our eating habits, which we found a bit strange.

Very bad, I had poisoning and had a headache all day, we didn't eat anything except sushi that day, so I don't recommend it if you want to maintain your health! My wife burped all night, she was very sick from this sushi (Philadelphia)

There is actually better sushi 🍣 in Stuttgart. But the salmon sashimi was outstanding!!

We visited Sushi one on a Monday lunchtime. There were few guests there. The food came after two (starter) or five (sushi) minutes. We had very friendly, courteous service. Very attentive to the gluten-free nature of dishes and soy sauce. The ambience is very nice, especially for Ghibli fans ;)

The sushi was very tasty. Unfortunately we had to wait about 1.5 hours for this. No information why it's taking so long or how long we have to wait, nothing on the house, just a "sorry" at the end. Other guests who came after us got their food before us. Good customer service looks different.

Wonderful sushi creations and ingredients that are clearly of high quality. We were served in an extremely friendly, pleasantly calm and attentive manner. In addition, it is worth highlighting the many beautiful and well-maintained plants as well as the large prints with anime scenes that add lively accents to the interior. We look forward to eating there again!

The sushi was sensational! It was really tender and really melted in your mouth. The location is very nice and modernly furnished. Everything is clean and well maintained. It's just a bit cool and there was a slight draft in our place.

My experience with this restaurant was anything but good, me and my partner arrived in the evening at our previously reserved time, then we were told that we couldn't find our reservation even though we could even show a confirmation email and we were shown to some free seat seated in the hall. The service was unfriendly, didn't look you in the face, and looked away at other guests when ordering. When we ordered grape juice and specifically said that we didn't want a spritzer, there was grape juice diluted with water in a Schweppes glass. The soy sauce that was available was in supermarket packaging and was almost empty. Visually there were no uniforms, you can see the dishwasher washing dishes and occasionally hear corks flying. After waiting over an hour for our overpriced cold dishes, we decided not to dine in this restaurant. From a purely visual point of view, the store looks pretty and has nice decorative elements, but unfortunately appearances are deceptive. After we said that we didn't want to wait that long and wanted to take the food with us and leave, the service person just said: I'm sorry, that's the way it is with sushi. The sushi tastes average, not bad but you can get the same thing in the supermarket. Note in hindsight: We were apologized via email and we were refunded the full amount.

After a long day of walking around Stuttgart, we found this restaurant and it was a real pleasure. Nicely calm atmosphere with fine sushi, was a comfortable and tasty experience. I highly reccommend Spider Rolls :).

Schönes und sauberes Restaurant. Es gibt keine anderen Speisen außer Sushi - was wir gut fanden und man auch an der sehr guten Qualität gemerkt hat. Der Service war freundlich. Das Sushi war das leckerste seit langem. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren heute aus der Schweiz zu Besuch und hatten das Mittagsmenü - die inkludierte Miso Suppe sowie das Sushi selbst war echt lecker und hat sich preislich sehr gelohnt. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und das Ambiente im Restaurant war sehr angenehm (vor allem haben uns die Ghibli Bilder sehr gefallen :)). Im Ganzen sehr zu empfehlen, würde immer wieder gerne kommen!

Review bias: I lived in Japan for a few years and have experienced a wide range of sushi quality over the years. I tend to be critical on sushi texture and quality. I saw the prices online and thought they were higher than I'd expect for sushi, but once tasting the superb quality of the raw fish, I found the sushi was a very good price and will be back regularly. I still think the tempora was a high price, but they do a great job making it and the price of the tempora seems to be similarly priced for Stuttgart. The miso soup and fried chicken both tasted great and were reasonably priced. I ordered more than normal in order to try more. I'd probably spend between 25-40 Euros for future visits and be comfortable/full. The miso soup, fried chicken, and tempora are made fresh and delivered hot; be mindful of this and let the inside of the food cool down to a reasonable temperature before eating or expect to burn your tongue a few times. Sushi ONE does a fantastic job sourcing and selecting their fish!!! You can tell based on the tenderness of the raw fish, the smoothness of the texture, and the freshness of the flavor. There was NO hint of chewiness nor rubbery effect. The pieces were cut to a nice thickness, which allowed the raw fish to be the highlight instead of competing with the rice and soy sauce. The room is set up comfortably with space between each table and the tables being arranged in various alignments. The wall decor and overall theme was Japanese, welcoming, and relaxing. Finding the location wasn't obvious. There's a single door at ground level that is recessed away from the street. Once you see it, it leads you to the restaurant on the next floor. There is also one banner/flag waving on the street. It's across from the French Tacos place. Finally, the one staff/waiter I got to interact with had introvert qualities and was very nice and considerate. He provided great customer service and did his job well. I'LL BE BACK!!

Straight up, best spot for sushi in Stuttgart, and I eat at a lot of them. Salmon was amazing. Wasabi tastes closer to real and not the paste out of a tube. Don’t put too much, it will teleport you a different time zone. Everything was good. Only odd part was carrots in the Miso soup, but I don’t judge. Highly recommended if you are walking by.

Leider nicht empfehlenswert. Der Kellner war sehr nett und höflich. Ambiente nichts besonderes. Das Essen also die Sushi war leider nichts meins. Ich und meine Frau hatten seltsamerweise beide im Nachhinein Bauchschmerzen. Und günstig war es auch nicht.

This is my favorite sushi place in Stuttgart. It is great value for the price as it is quality sushi for a fair price (other places tend to overcharge for what you get and spend more time on display and not as much on quality). To top it off, the staff is very friendly and even is good about getting to know your name not only in person but even when you call them on the phone. I love this place and can’t recommend it enough. I can recommend everything on the menu as I have been coming here for a long time and everything tastes great. Oh and when I was pregnant and really craving sushi they were happy to help me pick stuff off of the menu that was fully cooked so I could still enjoy.

I had a really good experience as a celiac person. They have plenty of gluten free choices. They have also gluten free soy sauce and very interested on my condition. I strongly recommend and will come again.
