The two of us went there for the all-you-can-eat. Here you are given a large platter and cannot choose the sushi yourself. That's a bit of a shame. But what we got was all good. After the first large plate, you can then order more in smaller or larger portions (even without influence). The service staff was friendly and came at pleasant intervals to ask whether everything was okay and whether we had any drinks we wanted. The shop is beautifully furnished with mainly tables for two, but it can also be individually arranged for larger groups. For ages it has only been possible to pay in cash (a shame) and alcohol is not served either. About two years ago it was said “soon, the concession will take some time”.

We drove to Itzehoe to eat sushi with anticipation. Unfortunately the anticipation disappeared pretty quickly!!!!! No card payment, not so bad since the Sparkasse is opposite. Ordered food and drinks after a long time. The starter came with the main course, no sauces on the table. The sauces came later (we got soy sauce from the neighboring table). The drinks were then served throughout the meal. Since you can only pay in cash, there was a lack of change to change €0.20. The young lady was visibly overwhelmed and the shop wasn't full. Oh yes, the sushi had a neutral taste. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

We ordered. I had fried noodles with duck and vegetables. I initially thought the price of 12.90 was okay. From Kiel. I'm used to higher prices. The food came fairly quickly for a Friday evening. Plus point. The review refers to my main dish and I compare it with similar dishes from, for example, "AsiaQuick" in Kiel, which offer a similar offering. It reflects my own opinion: The supposedly low price was explained by a lack of quality. The noodles were deeply browned from too much soy sauce. This made the dish very salty. The skin of the duck was unusually soft, but the meat was very tender. As a virtually unrivaled sushi restaurant with side dishes of this type in Itzehoe, you can apparently afford to offer this inferior quality. I will not order this dish here again. If there is a next time, I will stick with sushi. Because what I tried was really okay. Therefore 2 stars for my dish.

“All you can eat” sounds good, but you only get what the kitchen serves. Whether you like it or not. The first record was great, then the big crash and also the disappointment. Yesterday, November 2nd, 2024, we ate here in Itzehoe at Masuta for the first time as a small group. We reserved the table for 7:45 p.m. We found a place to park on the shoulder just before the restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, we entered the restaurant through the normal-wide entrance with two doors. Inside, we were approached by the waitress at the inviting-looking counter and shown to our reserved seat. We had a spot for a small group in the corner of the restaurant. The wall was decorated with a small painting (Koi). We sat down and started chatting. Unfortunately we had to wait some time until one of the young ladies found us. However, she apologized directly and kindly for the longer waiting time (the restaurant was not fully booked at the time) and brought us the tickets. Shortly afterwards her colleague came and asked us what drinks we wanted. I have to mention here that many alcoholic drinks are also available as non-alcoholic ones, which I really like. I ordered a non-alcoholic Hefeweizen and the others in the group ordered soft drinks. Here the selection was 0.3 and 0.4 liters, with my Hefeweizen it was 0.5 liters. So when the drinks were brought to us we were able to order straight away and the waitress then briefly explained to us how many people the food was enough for. We then decided on the large platter with 52 sushi creations. This was brought to our table very quickly, there was really a very short wait. There was also soy sauce and a small bowl of wasabi mayo. The plate was very nicely prepared. Unfortunately this record wasn't enough for all of us so we needed another one. In this case we sat in front of our empty plate for a long time and thought that service would come at some point, but unfortunately this didn't happen. We went to the counter where both waitresses were standing and talking away from the customers. We ordered another plate with 32 sushi creations and only received a new bowl of wasabi mayo sauce upon request. But this plate was also at our table in record time. All we can say about the food is that it was very tasty. From our point of view it was also fresh. The rice wasn't too loose so you had no problems gripping/clamping it with the chopsticks without them falling apart when dipping etc. The individual creations are well and sufficiently selected. The size of the individual sushi creations are also very well chosen. All in all the food is top. However, we have to make small deductions when it comes to the service, unfortunately we missed having one of the friendly ladies come to our table every now and then. Just to ask if we need anything else, especially when you've been sitting in front of an empty plate for a while. Nevertheless, the service was very friendly despite the small grievance. But that's why I deducted a star. The ambience is nice, the counter was clean and tidy. The tables were also clean and very tidy. The restaurant is also modern and beautifully decorated. Why am I deducting a point here? Because we would unfortunately have to freeze for a while while eating and sitting, as both doors from the entrance were opened and locked in such a way that they remained completely open. This was slightly uncomfortable. But later they were completely closed. Otherwise it's really a nice restaurant to eat sushi. It is nicely decorated, the prices are more than fair and the service is friendly. We would love to come back 😊. Despite the small points of criticism, a big thank you to the Masuta team for the great food

Total impudence We thought we would go and have some delicious sushi. Instead we were treated in a totally rude manner by the waitress. The shop is completely empty. As a couple, we chose a nice table by the window. We shouldn't sit down without asking. Which wouldn't have been a problem if the lady hadn't been so cheeky. You can feel sorry for the owner with such staff. The shop was empty 🙈🙄

Service was ok, but the sushi we had to take away was below supermarket quality. The nigiri box was just horrible. -Rice - old and dry (almost crunchy) -Ginger - Unfortunately it had already dried out in some places and was sticking together so that it was hard to come apart. -Fish - Partially dried out by the ginger and didn't taste fresh like you would expect from good sushi. In summary: It tasted like the box had already been put together and stored in the fridge for a few days. I'm really sorry because it was really better six months ago, but I'd rather buy sushi in the supermarket.

The only drawback was that we couldn't quite assign the individual sushi rolls to the number/menu. We placed a slightly larger order for several people and planned to share everything with everyone anyway. So we tried it out and it was all delicious!

The positive first. Delivery time was maintained. Unfortunately we didn't like the food. We had the wontons, which were far too dry and too hard. Because we had the pasta with duck. So it doesn't have much in common with Asia. The taste was OK, but we probably won't order again.

The sushi and bowls are first class. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. What is unusual is that there is no liquor license there (= no alcohol) and card payments are not possible either. And that has been the case for a long time. But because of the good quality of the food, I still don't deduct a star for it.

This is not our first time ordering here. However, yesterday, May 31, 2024, the delivery time was unacceptable. We ordered around 5:40 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. time slot. Delivery was at 8:30 p.m. Nobody could be reached by phone. Very unfortunate. Sushi was still delicious. We will definitely order again, but we are pausing this provider.

The shop is well located, but I find some things a bit of a shame, starting with the fact that you can only pay with cash, but this is nothing earth-shattering as the savings bank is opposite. The food was ready quickly and packed with mayonnaise and enough soy sauce When I opened the sushi boxes, I thought it was a bit of a shame that there was something sticky on the sushi that was somehow reminiscent of scotch tape (only in edible), unfortunately it was so stuck on the sushi that it wasn't edible with the chopsticks the rolls have completely fallen apart. The taste was good, but the finishing touch was missing. All in all, I can recommend the sushi, but I wouldn't order it to take away again, at least not the vegetarian menu

This was our first time there. The location is very clean. Guest room and also the toilets. The service was friendly. The food we ordered came quickly and was of good quality. Delicious. There should be more choice for vegetarians. My friend (vegetarian) ordered a selection of sushi with salmon instead of chicken. Unfortunately, chicken still came. However, the error was immediately corrected after “complaint”. All in all, it was a successful meal and a lovely evening

Good restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. It's really comfortable to sit there even if there are very few window seats. The service is friendly and the food was at the table quickly. We only had to wait a little longer for our food once. I think the dishes are 1 to 2 euros too expensive for sushi, but the things are all freshly prepared and you can taste it. All in all, I can say the selection is extensive and delicious. If you want to eat good sushi, you should eat something here.

Yesterday I ordered a tuna crunchy roll for lunch. The tuna was rock hard and the cucumbers were slippery. It tasted weird without chili sauce. Since I had a meeting shortly after delivery, I couldn't reschedule due to time constraints and had a few bites. Big mistake. I was so sick for the rest of the day that I couldn't eat anything. That wasn't the first time. About a year ago I ordered fried noodles with duck. The duck was so hard I could hardly eat it. It was definitely not fresh and tasted like it had been fried a second time. But I was able to complain about it back then. For me Masuta is now dead.

Super bad service, waiters totally overwhelmed even though not even half of the tables were occupied. We had to wait almost 40 minutes until we got a ticket. The drinks were only taken half an hour later. Food wasn't even asked. After we received the drinks, half of them were wrong. But sushi was still good. Everyone ordered all you can eat. It was rude that you had to pay extra for wasabi and ginger. Only when paying were we told that card payment was not possible. First we had to see how we all paid. The waiters didn't respond to criticism and turned around and left. It's simply impossible that we'll never go there again.

Unfortunately, since I first ordered from SushiMasuta two years ago until today, there has been an error in almost every delivery. Sometimes there is no delivery at all, then something is missing, or the delivery times are incredibly long or as in the most recent example…. I received the completely wrong order and in the end I have to send photos via WhatsApp as proof so that the correct order arrives 40 minutes later. So the total waiting time was just under 2 hours. The sushi is ok, but unfortunately it was the last time I ordered here.

GROSSZÜGIGE 2 Sterne, das Essen ist zwar immer toll (solange die Bedienung und die Küche es auch hinbekommen dies richtig zu servieren, so wie man es bestellt hat) aber der Kundenservice ist eine glatte -5/10! Meistens sehr unfreundlich und gerne mal mit einem dummen Spruch bei Fragen und total unorganisiert. Hierbei ist auch egal, welchen Mitarbeiter man bekommt, da dies bei bisher allen der Fall war. Schade drum, für das Essen würde ich eigentlich gerne wiederkommen (auch wenn es vielllllll zu teuer ist) aber der Kundenservice hat mich wirklich abgeschreckt über die Zeit. Vor allem heute hat der Mitarbeiter dem Ganzen echt die Krone aufgesetzt… (Falsche Bestellung serviert und keine Anstalten gemacht dies zu kompensieren, keinerlei Interaktion mit dem Gast (Soßen erst auf Nachfrage geliefert), generell sehr unfreundlich und hektisch, keine Rechnung beim bezahlen vorgelegt (nur auf Nachfrage) und noch viel mehr)… echt enttäuschend.

Völlig überforderte Bedienung. Bei unseren 3 Essen waren 2 komplett falsch und 1x etwas falsch. Schuld waren wir (wurde 2x vehement so vertreten), obwohl wir die richtigen Bestellnummern genannt haben - die Bedienung hat aber etwas anderes notiert. Keinerlei Entschuldigung oder Entgegenkommen bei der Rechnung. Es gab kein Trinkgeld von mir und erst auf Nachfrage eine Rechnung, so wie bei einigen anderen Gästen vorher auch schon... Überteuerte Preise zudem auch noch. Ich für meinen Teil gehe demnächst lieber woanders hin...

Bei unserem Besuch in Itzehoe haben wir Sushi satt für knapp 25€ pro Person bestellt. Nach unserer Bestellung dauerte es über 1 Stunde, bis das essen endlich kam. Die Bedienung blieb allerdings während unserem gesamten Aufenthalt, immerhin 2,5 Stunden, sehr unaufmerksam und kam nicht nochmal, um nachzufragen, ob sie uns noch Getränken bringen könnte. Neben der Tatsache, dass keine Kartenzahlung angeboten wird, wurde die Rechnung trotz Aufzählung falsch aufgeteilt und es wurde erst nach Aufforderung ein Bon gedruckt. Der Druck eines Bewirtungsbeleg erwies sich dann allerdings auch wieder als sehr großes Hindernis. Unterm Strich bleibt sehr gutes Essen bei sehr schlechtem Service. Schade, so ist das Lokal nicht zu empfehlen.

War das erste Mal dort essen. Das Sushi war wirklich lecker, aber der Service eine Katastrophe! Es war nur ein Kellner vor Ort, der absolut überfordert war! Wir haben das Essen zwar recht zügig bekommen, allerdings haben wir kein Besteck bzw. Stäbchen gehabt. Wir haben den Kellner zweimal ansprechen müssen, damit wir das Essen zu uns nehmen konnten. In der Zeit wurden die Nudeln kalt. Statt Stäbchen gab es dann ein Set aus Messer und Löffel…. Statt Röstzwiebeln gab es Frühlingszwiebeln… Die Krönung kam dann noch: Als wir das Essen am Ende mitnehmen wollten, hat uns der Kellner zwei Verpackungen auf den Tisch gelegt, so dass wir unser Essen selber einpacken mussten. Gerät wurde mit uns auch nicht. Nie wieder.

Die Lieferung war zwei Wochen in Folge eine Gute Stunde verspätet, die Mittagspause war schon vorbei als der Fahrer dann ankam. Es wurde am Telefon gesagt, dass es andere Lieferungen gab die weiter weg liegen, obwohl zum erstmöglichen Zeitpunkt um 12:15 bestellt wird. Dazu hatte der gleiche Fahrer auch einige Male hintereinander den ersten Tag, würde ich nicht zwingend als unwahre aussage ansehen aber lässt Raum für zweifel. Das Essen selbst war eigentlich immer in Ordnung.

Das Essen war sehr gut und Frisch. Die Platten sind sehr schön angerichtet. Leider darf kein Alkohol ausgeschenkt werden, nur bei bestellung außer Haus. Man kann nicht per EC oder Kreditkarte zahlen. Das finde Ich heut zu Tage nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Auf Empfehlung vieler Bekannten sind wir doch nun sehr enttäuscht. Weihnachtsdeko im Fenster, sonst ist das Restaurant nett und ansprechend,, allerdings nur innen, von außen eher zu vernachlässigt. Eine Bedienung, die ganz alleine war und offensichtlich nicht sehr berufserfahren. Mit Sushi kannte sie sich überhaupt nicht aus. Nett und freundlich war sie aber. Während wir 45 Min auf unserer Essen warteten, lief der Abhol- und Lieferdienst wohl sehr gut. 2x verließen neue Gäste in dieser Zeit unbewirtet das Lokal.Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt und nach Getränke wurde auch nicht wieder gefragt. Richtig übel: keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Das sollte man gerne vorher kommunizieren. Essen war gut aber nicht außergewöhnlich, für ein Lieferservice jedenfalls ausreichend. Also wir kommen nicht wieder, da ist Sushi aus dem Supermarkt die bessere Alternative

Das Essen war gut und die Platten des All you Can Eat sind ordentlich voll. Wir haben zu zweit nur 1,5 Platten geschafft. Alles sehr lecker und schon angerichtet. Der Service könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein und aus irgendeinem Grund haben sie die Karte voller Alkohol, dürfen aber wohl keinen Ausschenken. Aber alles im allem ein schöner Abend mit gutem Essen

Das Essen schmeckt wunderbar. Bestellt man jedoch ein „All you can eat“ und in der Karte stehe „Pro Runde 5 Items“, denke ich, dass ich mir jede Runde 5 items aus der Karte aussuchen darf. Stattdessen erhält man 2 fertige große Platten ohne dass die Wünsche berücksichtigt werden. Bei Nachfrage für weiteres Essen, heißt es die Crunchy Rolls gibt es nicht ein zweites Mal. Werden nur in der ersten Runde geliefert. Für mich ist es kein All you can eat, sondern einfach nur eine Mix Platte, sehr schade. Auf den Platten selber hatten wir wenig Fleisch/Fisch, sondern sehr viel Gemüse. Auch schade. Kein Nigiri oder Ähnliches. Essen kann man weiterempfehlen, das „All you can eat“ überhaupt nicht.

Das Sushi ist super, habe bereits vieles ausprobiert und wurde auch beim „All you can eat“ immer wieder mit neuen Sachen überrascht. Jedoch würde ich das „all you can eat“ eher Überraschungsplatte nennen. Wünsche werden nicht wahrgenommen, nach der Frage, was wir denn nicht essen möchten, wurde uns genau davon am meisten gebracht. Auf den Wunsch, ob wir statt dem nicht gewünschten Thunfisch mehr von anderen Sorten bekommen, wurden wir vom Personal darauf hingewiesen, dass es die Küche ablehnt, es sei denn, wir essen alles auf. Ich würde beim nächsten mal eher das bestellen, was ich essen möchte und aufessen werde, statt essen wegzuschmeißen.. Ansonsten bin ich sehr froh über das Sushi Restaurant in Itzehoe.

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service jedoch eine Katastrophe. Die ewige Lieferzeit wurde mit einem Unfall eines Fahrers begründet. Wenn man drei Stunden vorher zu einem festen Termin bestellt ist eine Verspätung von einer halben Stunde inakzeptabel.

Das Essen war wirklich lecker, aber wir haben 1,5 Std gewartet. Danach haben wir gerade angefangen zu essen und dann kam auch schon die Kellnerin, um uns zu sagen, dass in einer halben Stunde zu gemacht wird und wir sollten doch bitte schneller essen. Finde ich frech. Zum Bestellen ist es wahrscheinlich ausreichend.

Unfortunately, the high price is no longer appropriate at all. The portions have practically halved!!! And the delivery time was 1 hour instead of 1.5 hours.

We like to take number 14. Outside of the house. It is packaged so hot that even after 20 minutes on the way home everything is still very warm and tastes good.

There were three of us in the restaurant. We noticed several times how the staff gossiped about us and other guests. Anyone who is not a regular here is treated like a second-class customer. We waited over an hour for our food, and instead of an apology, they just talked about us behind our backs. Unfortunately, the food wasn't worth the long wait either. The fries were too salty and the burger unfortunately tasted of nothing and was wet from the lettuce.
