The food was okay. The casserole wasn't anything special. The good thing is that they're open all day. I think the pizzas are better. I'll try that next time. The service is excellent.

Goulash Soup - a portion as if someone accidentally poured it, there's absolutely nothing in it except pieces of meat like for a dog or cat, the pizza is tasty, the calzone too :) the children's set is also nice... the garlic sauce for pizza is very good! :)

We were able to get a table at short notice, received good service, and had plenty of choice on the extensive menu! The food was delicious, and the drinks were cool. I'm very satisfied!

Environment is 'standard', nothing special to mark the place. Advantage are the parking opportunities in the close neighborhood. The menu contains a large list where different cuisines are represented. Such a long list points to preprocessed food. I took Amadeus-Kebab with Bacon. It was not tasty at all, nothing to do with the original meaning of 'Kebab'.

Upon arrival, we were offered the menu, and after being successfully ignored for half an hour, with no menu ever brought, we left. What a shame! The Amadeus has always been worth a visit for us. But today? That's never happened to us in any other restaurant!

The food is good and varied. When ordering by phone, the owner should employ more German-speaking staff; misunderstandings regularly occur, which is very frustrating for customers.

Things used to be better. Unfortunately, that's the impression I get from the store. Six years ago, I gave it 5 stars. Now, unfortunately, I have to cut it down by half. I've known Amadeus for at least 30 years. As a child, the portions were obviously much larger... But honestly: The last three times were so-so. It tasted good. But it could have been a cafeteria with a bit of a roadside snack bar. I somehow get the impression that everything that isn't pizza comes from the freezer and is just warmed up with filling. I would somehow like to see more homemade, fresh food. To have the impression of having that kind of food on my plate.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We both ordered fried potatoes instead of fries and bitterly regretted it. They were absolutely inedible. Super greasy, completely soft, hardly any onions, no bacon, and barely any seasoning... It seemed as if they had been taken from a wholesale bag and put in a pan for two minutes to warm them up and be done. I don't know what happened to the fat, though, because it had a very strange taste. The rest was okay (schnitzel & turkey steak), the salad was even delicious, but we could have eaten better and cheaper at home...! The ladies at the service seemed new, but super friendly, but they forgot to mention that the fried potatoes cost almost €4 extra! At that price, we wouldn't have ordered them that way. Although they waived the extra charge in the end, we're still disappointed. What a shame!

A true gem in Itzehoe – my favorite restaurant for years! I've been going to this wonderful restaurant regularly for years – and it's a highlight every time! You're greeted warmly as soon as you enter; the entire team is incredibly friendly and makes you feel immediately welcome and comfortable. The chef is not only extremely friendly, but also passionate about his work. You can taste this passion in every dish: the food is simply a solid 10 out of 10! Perfectly prepared, with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail – everything here is just right. Whether it's an appetizer, main course, or dessert – every bite is a delight. For me, this is the best restaurant in Itzehoe – without a doubt. If you're looking for excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and welcoming hosts, this is the place to be. I highly recommend it!

Hey :) Here's the promised review of the black pizza. :) I'm extremely disappointed with how I was treated. The customer is king, and if it's black in my opinion, I have the right to complain. But then to say it's not black or something like that and then make fun of us is the lowest of the low. Simply sad for €27.80, I'll never order from there again. The second pizzas are better, but there's no tomato sauce on them... what a shame!!! At least there's very little, and it's also very dry. It used to be my favorite pizza... I guess that's over...

We always celebrate birthdays here because there's a nice, large corner available for reservation. The service is always friendly and quick. I highly recommend it.

I am rarely there but am always satisfied

1. The service was very friendly. 2. The boss was very unfriendly. 3. The lumberjack steak was very dry. The salad was good. The amadeus plate for my husband didn't even arrive and when we asked, the boss told us he had to gut the fish first. He then wanted to quickly bring us something else. Because we were sitting in a cold side room, we had no chance of catching the waitress beforehand.

We had a delicious meal and really enjoyed the incredibly great service.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the pizza was delicious, and the draft beer was exceptionally fresh.

Above all - the service was top. The food, however, was not good. The steak was fatty and stringy, making it largely inedible. The salad dressing was a ready-made sauce and the dessert was swimming in fat. In addition, it pulled like pike soup at my place. All in all, not a nice experience that I won't repeat.

It was really tasty, the staff was very friendly, but a bit overwhelmed. But it was more because a second service came later, when it was already buzzing! We then had to go, but they will have done it together! I'm sure :-)

I had what I called an “experience plate”. Basically it was just ready-made food from Lidl. So chicken nuggets, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks and potato wedges. 1 to 1 straight out of the bag and not the least bit fancy. The pizzas and pasta dishes looked better from the other tables. It's better to stick to the Italian dishes. The prices are very proud for what you ultimately get.

The food we ordered was very tasty and sufficient.

Wir haben heute 2 Pizzen für Selbstabholer gekauft, die laut Speisekarte einen Durchmesser von 20 cm haben sollen. Amadeus hat diese in ihrer neuen Verpackung der Firma Malik GmbH übergeben, die die Aussenabmessungen von 20 x 20 x 4 cm hat. In der Verpackung hatten die Pizzen (trotz der Pappwände immer noch Platz. Der Durchmesser betrug bei beiden Pizzen nur 19,0 cm. Damit fehlten jeweils 10% der Pizza. Als ich das Restaurant anrief und den Mitarbeiter darauf hinwies, dass die Pizzen zu klein waren und die Pizzagrössen gem. Speisekarte gar nicht in die neuen Verpackungen passen, sagte er mir, da es sich um einen Durchmesser handelt, passe dieser in den rechteckigen Karton (soviel zur Allgemeinbildung des Mitarbeiters). Als ich ihm mitteilte, dass unvollständige Lieferungen aufgrund zu kleiner Verpackungen Betrug an den Kunden sei, bot er mir an, ich könne mir im Restaurant entweder 2 € Erstattung oder ein Stück Pizza abholen. Der Schutz anderer Kunden war nicht in seinem Interesse. Ich habe sein Angebot natürlich abgelehnt. Wir werden nie wieder im Amadeus Essen bestellen.

Were here as part of a small company Christmas party. Small restaurant but ok. Waitress partly friendly, others annoyed. Really not that impressed with the food, it could be better. The price-performance ratio is not right here.

Sehr tolles essen und gute Atmosphäre! Wir sind extra eine lange strecke angereist für diesen Laden, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Essen super lecker mit einer wiesen Auswahl sowohl Vegan als auch Normal. Immer wieder gerne.

Everything is qualitatively positive. I've had different experiences here, but 2023 and 2024 have been very good so far. Good food at a reasonable price. I see deductions in the volume and slight sluggishness of the operation, which simply took too long for our simple concerns. But it can happen, you can always improve.

For me the tastiest pizza in Itzehoe :-) Never had any problems, whether picking up or eating there, everything was always great!

It's been a long time since we visited the Amadeus' again and were a bit disappointed: The pasta dishes we ordered were edible, but unfortunately not really tasty :-( The pasta was overcooked (extremely soft - miles away from al dente) and the sauce tasted bland and completely the same in both (completely different) dishes. We have fond memories of the pizzas at Amadeus! Maybe we should have stuck with it and not tried anything new. Despite the busy restaurant (in the middle of the week!), the food was served relatively quickly. The service was extremely friendly and very attentive!

We were there on Thursday, September 19, 24 at lunchtime. Great welcome and the lady from the service knows us so well that she knows what we want. Das Personal war komplett unfähig, nicht nur an unserem Tisch.... So kennen wir es hier nicht.... Wo sind die Profis hin? Es kommt falsches Essen am Nachbartisch unf die Bedienung kommt und will unseren Salat weg nehmen, weil sie dachte, er wäre verwechselt worden... ähm nein, der am Nachbartisch war falsch.... Dann fehlte das Brot .... Die beiden Ladys stritten auch während der Bedienung offenbar vor den Kunden miteinander, geht überhaupt nicht....

The food only arrived after three quarters of an hour and wasn't exactly warm, the tzatziki only came 10 minutes after the schnitzel and the starter only came with the main course.

If you would rather have fried potatoes instead of fries or rice, you will not be given any information that there is an additional charge. But that would be ok. It's just more effort. But the fact that this surcharge also amounts to 8.10 euros is steep.

Wir waren spontan für ein Mittagessen nach langer Fahrt dort aufgeschlagen und haben neben einer netten und effizienten Bedienung ordentliches Essen zu fairen Preisen (Mittagstisch) erlebt. Sicher darf man kein Sterneessen erwarten, aber für den Zweck richtig gut!

Price performance doesn't fit, unfortunately unkempt terrace and toilets

The first time I went to the Amadeus restaurant, the food was really tasty and the service was really nice. I would love to come back when I'm nearby.

The others were generally happy with their food, but it wasn't something that would make you want to go back. The Farmer Salad sounds interesting, but the components didn't fit together. It had the least amount of meat I've ever had on a salad with meat, but since the meat was completely dry, I didn't ask for more anyway.

You can go here again and again, everyone will find something they like. Service is quick and friendly, the pizza comes from the wood-fired oven. And one of the few restaurants in Itzehoe that is open from lunchtime on weekends. Update: Burgers and fries can make more use of the space on the plate. Draft beer selection is good, happy hour for cocktails daily from 9 p.m.

The pizzas were A1 with loose, voluminous dough. Topping excellent. Great salad dressing. Topped off by the extremely friendly and attentive service staff. Prices reasonable, not overpriced. Absolutely worth it. "Double thumb".

We have always been very happy with the Amadeus, but unfortunately not this time. The pizza was relatively expensive. Large pizza with salami, champions and pepperoni for over €16. The pizza tasted ok, but the dough didn't taste like fresh yeast dough. I wouldn't order the pizza again for the price. The rump steak was very stringy, you had to cut a lot of it and at just under €27 there was no snapper either. The side salad didn't contain a slice of tomato or cucumber but rather 80% iceberg lettuce. On the whole it's okay, but we wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. The service was good and the waitress was very nice.

Generally very tasty food. The wood-fired pizzas are baked in pizza shells and have an airy, thicker dough. Best pizzas far and wide. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is always very friendly. Reservation of a table is recommended.

As is well known, prices in the catering industry have risen noticeably recently. 4.30 for a simple glass of peppermint tea can only be described as unacceptable.

Was there for dinner with my girlfriend. She had “stuffed” zucchini with rice, minced meat and cheese in tomato sauce, and I had pan-fried turkey with cheese and vegetables. Mine was pretty tasty, which is something I can't say about my friend's food. The stuffed zucchini was only placed on top in strips and there was also too much rice and tomato sauce in it. I tried it too, but after a short time it was hard to enjoy the dish. The waitress was very friendly and nice, but in the end we had to wait a long time to pay, so we got up ourselves at some point and went in to pay. The terrace itself was nice and cozy. All in all, you can do it, it wasn't bad. :)

We were warmly welcomed. Drinks came quickly. Unfortunately my Grevensteiner from the barrel was warm. We waited a long time for our food. Probably because many customers came and were served drinks. Then our food came and everything was cold. Probably stood on the counter the whole time because a waitress was solely responsible for the outside area. After we complained that the food was cold there was no response. Then someone heard us and wanted to bring us new food. It felt like the same food had been warmed up in the microwave. Table was not cleared. Now I'm waiting for the bill. Never again. Update: After the review has been online for over half a year, I receive an email via Google Removals that someone complained about my review. The complainant argues that the assessment violates his personal rights. So attempts are made at all costs to sweep criticism under the table.

What a pizza! You rarely see something like that. No stinginess with the ingredients and great service.

The food was more middle class. My meat (beef fillet) was dry, the baguette is just soaked in oil and tasteless. Service was nice, but sometimes that's not enough. The starter was forgotten, the sauce was spilled when served, sometimes without a plan. I found the atmosphere uncomfortable, everything was very old-fashioned and outdated. It was also very loud. You had to talk a little louder. Conclusion: I won't come back for the price.

Wir sind sehr enttäuscht.. Waren heute essen und es war schrecklich hat sehr schlecht geschmeckt,käse war wie gummi und Lasagne hatte keine soße nur wasser...alle hatten starke bauchschmerzen und haben hinterher gespuckt! das essen gilt als Körperverletzung! Mein Essen war sehr lecker allerdings das Gyros von meinem Partner war nicht unser Geschmack da das Gyros anders gewürzt war wie wir es bei anderen Restaurants kennen.Die Kellnerin war auch viel zu Leise ,man müsste sehr oft nachfragen was sie gesagt hat .Wenig Platz an den Tischen ,einfach zu eng (Tisch an Tisch).
