Suppenkasper-Laden in Heppenheim (Bergstraße)

We went to Herzblut for dinner with the family at Christmas. The food was okay, although the price-performance ratio was poor (mixed grill with very little meat for €36.90 and tagliatelle with salmon for €30). The service was abysmal. One waitress mixed up our table orders three times and asked twice what we had actually ordered. Although the restaurant wasn't fully booked, we waited 30 minutes for drinks and over an hour and a half for our food, despite there being only three main courses available on the Christmas menu. After being told the food was being prepared, it took another 45 minutes before it was served. In addition to the staff's complete incompetence and unprofessionalism, their rudeness was simply unbelievable. We asked if one of the dishes could be packed up to take away. After a second request (after 20 minutes), a waitress carried the food into the kitchen, accompanied by a request to a colleague to pack up the "shitty food." If the announcement on the website is true that the restaurant will be open from Since it's closing forever on December 29th, all we can say is "thank you." You're doing yourselves and everyone else a huge favor with this step! Thanks for nothing!
