A shop made for Munich's chiceria. Not a single friendly person was seen in the store. Staff very inattentive, everything takes forever and the food is very mediocre. It's better to eat a kebab, it's money better spent

I am sorry . There are few dishes, the prices are too high, dessert can be said that except tiramisu and all the ice cream, the rest. Amazing place, broken plates are already a symbol of destruction. Have a good day everyone.

Nice atmosphere and good service, but unfortunately the food is just average. The Supernova is so hyped by influencers & Co that it is difficult to get a table and expectations are high. But if you don't just want to photograph your food on colorful plates, but also want to enjoy it, you will unfortunately be a little disappointed. The arrabiata tastes bland, the purple burrata is carelessly prepared and the pinsa comes across as more of a thin flatbread and unfortunately doesn't live up to its name. It's a shame about the money, because every normal Italian can do it better.

There is an obvious problem with the staff - either they are few or have little experience. Went in at 8.45am and left 2 hours later with only 1 first course ordered. One star is given by the fact that: 1. 45m to get the first one out 2. The truffle pasta was stuck, evidently left on the counter without being served immediately. 3. The dish served to my partner was the wrong one 4. Another 45m for the bill to arrive 5. The girl even got annoyed when we didn't leave a tip (even?)

Beautiful decor for Italian food but the positives pretty much end there I’m afraid. We had a couple of drinks, a starter to share and a main each. The starter was decent but the main itself took about 45 mins to arrive. 10 mins later we were told we were actually served the wrong main, and were given the option to swap but it was way too late by then. After all this, you’d expect prompt service but nope - we waited a further 45-mins with an initial intention to order a dessert but at one point we were just desperate to pay! Two trips to the counter later we finally managed to pay and were asked for the amount we would like to tip?! I’m all for tipping fairly if that’s the culture but I’m sorry this was downright the worst experience we’ve had in Europe. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend, the food was decent but nothing to write home about and the service needs massive improvements. I’m thoroughly disappointed as the experience could’ve been a lot better with some training and more staff potentially.

Super nice service, food completely tasteless and absolutely overpriced. Truffle tastes like nothing and the passata is unfortunately of the cheapest quality. Then it's better to order a pizza from Napoli Rush and sit down somewhere.

Really lovely atmosphere for a fancy dinner. Really lovely waiters as well. I live in the area and one time I needed limes and the lovely waiter went out of his way to get me three and he was happy to do it. I couldn’t recommmend this restaurant more.

We waited patiently for our food for 80 minutes without a single sentence of explanation or apology. Can happen! Then came the bill. I didn't tip because we had to wait so long. Then I asked for a receipt and, despite having crutches, I was told to pick it up inside. She “certainly won’t” bring it out to me.. well, this is a dealer receipt.. so the bottom line is stroppy AND unprofessional with a long waiting time 😂

If you're on vacation and have nothing to do, the long wait doesn't matter. The food is very tasty...but apparently the kitchen is very disorganized, so waiting times of over 1 hour are quite normal here. What a shame actually! Otherwise recommended. Bring time😂

very unfriendly staff, not again

Unfortunately the food is not good at all. I ordered a Pinsa with sashimi tuna, however there was no tuna at all on the pinsa. The food also did not seem fresh prepared. I also asked for some chilli oil, which I never got. I do not recommend this place at all.

First of all, I would like to mention that the service is extremely polite and committed. Unfortunately, the food is not convincing. We've been there for the third time now to really give it a fair chance, but the food just doesn't taste good. Unfortunately, I also noticed that the table next door had also returned their food. Since the food in a restaurant is crucial for a rating, there is only one star.

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with Italian cuisine.

This is a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Munich. The food was very tasty and felt authentic. The service was very friendly and efficient and quick. Price wise you are looking for 30-40 Euros per person with a starter, main and drinks The interior design is beautiful and the plates are gorgeous and colorful.

There were five of us for breakfast, we all had different dishes and were overall satisfied. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick. The food was good and all the dishes were very solid, overall the quality was okay and everything was well prepared (the yolk in the poached egg was still perfectly runny 😊), but the taste wasn't necessarily outstanding either. We found some dishes better than others in terms of both quality and value for money. The atmosphere is very cool, stylish and “summer Italian”. I would come back for a relaxed brunch morning with holiday vibes.

Elegant pizzeria in Maxvorstadt with friendly service and delicious food. PASTA portions are unfortunately a bit limited, but the food tastes amazing. Well attended and very popular. Delicious drinks Super delicious, large pizzas. If I lived in Munich and not in Korschenbroich (N RW), this would be my favorite bar. 😊

Stylish Café & Restaurant (successor to the “Vorstadt Café” [hence the many reviews here] and sister restaurant of "Marta"). Here you can also sit outside along the streets. The service was friendly; But we didn't understand why drink and food orders had to be placed separately. Instead of dried and hard banana chips, I would have liked fresh banana slices. Otherwise it was a lovely morning!

The map is really too thin! It would be nice if there were more salads or lighter dishes. However, the service is super symmetrical! 😀

I think for 25€ pasta should be enough and not like a children's portion and I ordered water, they brought a jug of tap water and charged 4.50€, that's really cheeky 👿

The waiter was very arrogant and towards the end of our visit he kept giving us intimidating looks. After waiting 21 minutes, we asked if we could order soon, at least the drinks and appetizer. The food took 35 minutes and then what we didn't order came. When I asked how long it would take for the real food to reach us, the waiter said that we could also pay and leave. "I don't have to serve you here if you don't want to." His statement was off topic with our question about the food. I responded politely and professionally and explained that, in terms of time, I could actually afford to go to another restaurant to place an order before my night shift began. So we waited 10 more minutes to get our food. The food and drinks are really wonderful, especially the truffle pinsa and the lasagna! The waiter asked us several times to order a main course; he recommended the beef. ... well, I'm vegetarian (was ignored), then he said with a smile that we were the only ones who wouldn't order a main course. Overall, I have to say: I like going out to eat, I travel to many cities and countries and I really have and Without exaggerating, I have never experienced such professional service. The consoling thing about the evening was that the waiter had forgotten to forward the food from the next table (the two had a date) to the kitchen as an order, so the two had to wait over an hour. Funnily enough, about 15 minutes after us, an old friend sat down to our left and was just as dissatisfied with the atmosphere as we were. For two non-alcoholic drinks and two rather small plates of food, we left just under 65 euros, of course no one deserves a tip here. 

Unfriendly service, perhaps because it's understaffed? Food is not at all appropriate for the prices. Free tap water would be reasonable with glasses on the table and prices

It's all ok. Nice service, nice ambience, delicious breakfast. Portions are ok...

expensive and poor quality, tiny portions. Tartare barely seasoned (no salt, no onions, no mustard, no egg...), about 80 g of dry crumbs spread on the plate. When I complained, I got the answer: the boss wants the portions to be so small - I understand you. Parmigiana OK, although not really hot. No pepper, salt or oil on the table. Overpriced and loveless!

One of the best dishes ive ever had! The sea food pasta (don’t remember the name) was absolutely delicious. We were not expecting it to be that good.

Really good ambience, location, pretty interiors. I felt like the breakfast options were quite expensive for what was offered on the menu - I had the classic omelette and classic hot chocolate. Unfortunately for me it was only an average experience also in terms of taste for both.

Super bad service upon arrival! We had reserved a table for 8:15 p.m. We arrived at 8pm, many guests were standing in the entrance waiting for the service staff or a table. We stood there and waited our turn. After 8 minutes the gentleman showed up and said: “Oh, I gave your table away 10 minutes ago - that’s how it works here at the weekend.” Are you serious?! Then hire more staff to look after arriving guests. Then they won't block the entrance. Maybe it would have been nice to ask the waiting crowd if there were reservation names among them? I also thought it was cheeky to pass this on to the guests instead of simply saying: “Hey, sorry, it was our mistake!”

Unfortunately very unfriendly service

A super anti-social action, we ordered Gin & Tonic and paid €22. At the end we asked and the waiter said he had brought us Monkey 47 without asking, i.e. the most expensive gin you can order in the pub. You just don't do something like that without asking us first.

The food was good, but not good enough to justify the prices. I really enjoyed the white chocolate mousse!

It was a very nice experience! I explained that I will celebrate my birthday there and the restaurant organized a separate area just for me and my guests, taking into account that there would also be several kids. The cornetto are amazing and when I asked to keep some of them for my guests, found it all nicely served already on our tables when we arrived. The waiter was very nice and attentive. He also remembered that the first round of drinks was on me and kept the bills of the guest and for me separately. In general, very tasta and nice atmosphere.

Looks good, but unfortunately the music is far too loud for breakfast. "Part of the concept" on note. The staff was still very friendly and quick. However, we were almost alone. What I find disastrous, however, is price/performance. 14€ for ONE medium sized slice of bread with a bit of burrata and ONE poached egg. So you can't be hungry there. The companion had the eggs Benedict and was also still hungry for them. With a drink it was a good €25 per head and we still went to Müller on Schellingstr. A pity.

We had ordered two main courses and had to wait ONE (!!) hour for our food, which arrived lukewarm. Service was okay, although we had to wait a long time at the beginning until we were served. A pity.

Went there on Saturday morning and sat outside. The service was impeccable, very attentive and quick. I drank tea and ate a croissant with vanilla filling, which was delicious. The restaurant is tastefully decorated inside and the toilets are clean. Definitely worth a visit and very close to the English Garden.

The service was quite nice. In between, however, they never once asked if everything was OK or anything like that. Eating (for three) was a complete disaster. Paid almost €130 for very bad food. It used to be a very nice and high quality shop, but today it is of poor quality and only to be avoided. Very unfortunate.

Very nice restaurant with really good - if slightly overpriced - food. However, the service is so subpar that one wonders whether the owners are aware of how much the quality of the restaurant suffers due to the incompetence of the employees. In an almost empty restaurant, sending a waitress several times only after direct request, even though several employees are calmly chatting over a cigarette, is strange, but still bearable. The fact that the conditions are then unable to accommodate drink and food requests at the same time and then react stroppy when asked is rather strange. But if items are forgotten but still calculated, it becomes very annoying. In general you could just see that there is no staff management and the waiters themselves are neither trained nor motivated. I hope the quality of service changes soon because this level is really embarrassing

Super friendly service, we also received a vase to put our flowers in. Ambience very nice. probably leading atmosphere! Worth recommending!

Ordered the benedict eggs and waited for 25 minutes. eggs came fully cooked. (I visited last year and wrote this one sentence review, however Google just won't let me post it) Edit: the reply from the restaurant said I should have let the waiter know. So changed my rating from 3 stars to 2 and added the picture. I did tell the waiter about the food, but I also didn’t want to wait another 25 minutes, which means it was gonna take me 50 minutes until I had my food. And the fact that your team did not know about my issue meant the staff did not bother reporting the issue. I feel like I already gave you a chance to improve but you really didn’t take it

Such a lovely and cozy place! The food is delicious and good looking, service is great, the atmosphere is warm and employees are very welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

The food is very good, the service is very poor. Orders that did not come through and long waiting times (the question for our first drink only came after 45 minutes). Unfortunately, this made for a lesser experience.

The ambience is nice. What wasn't nice at all was the service. Absolutely unfriendly and unreliable. Every table inside was free, only smaller tables outside were occupied, there was basically nothing going on. Despite this, we weren't asked once if we needed anything else. Two re-ordered drinks had to be reminded 4 times... when you're busy, it's supposed to happen, but there was nothing going on. There's also a ticket for sweets until 4 p.m. We were there at 2 p.m. and there was no more of it. No alternative was offered either. And something like that on Sunday?!

Stylish and special furnishings. The food was delicious (melanzane & homemade pasta), the prices were not cheap but reasonable. The drinks were okay. The service seemed deliberately stressed, which noticeably spoiled the atmosphere. You can do it, but there are also good alternatives in Munich

Was a participant in a birthday party. Ordered fried eggs that were crusty all over them. The price-performance ratio is miserable. I know the shop as a 'suburban cafe' and was disappointed with what became of it.

Interesting bar and eatery that provides brunch till 14:00 and nice Italian dishes. Very popular for lunch.

The reservation for tonight was moved to the terrace when it was 5 degrees - absolute disgrace! I specifically noted the note “please not outside” again in the reservation - but it was ignored.

Initially excited because we spontaneously got a table, we were more than disappointed with the food. Half of the spaghetti was hard and stuck together. In addition, the portion size was so terribly small that I (small, slim, don't eat much) was far from full. However, the pasta at 25 euros and the 0.2 liter cola at 4.50 euros were so excessive that we decided to go somewhere else. The beautiful ambience doesn't make up for it and I won't be coming back. Edit after reply from owner: I would have liked to tell the waitress how I felt about the food if she had asked me about the food. (Unfortunately) I'm not one to give direct feedback without being asked, as I find it unpleasant.

Very fast and good service. The food was very tasty and well prepared. The restaurant design is also very beautiful. The prices are a bit high, but I'm willing to pay for the quality. We will definitely come by more often.

Unfortunately, price performance is not OK. 4.50€ for a tiny cola and 25€ for a starter-sized pasta.... Some of the pasta still stuck together and was hard! Really a failure!

We went to Supernova on Friday evening. The service was great, the Pisa was very fine and the drinks were well mixed! Highly recommended, best with reservation :) Both for a girls' evening and for a nice date!

The burrata pinsa was fine. The wines by the glass came in large portions but the Sauvignon was not drinkable at all and the Lugano was very mediocre. Service was friendly but extremely slow and the lady at the door generally seemed too polite to cooperate.

Excellent food, lasagna and risotto great pasta options.

I have been in this restaurant for my birthday. It is near the LMU and the interior and atmosphere was inviting. What I found very annoying is that they allowed people coming into the restaurant and asking for money to sell their newspaper. I was really excited for my food and ordered a beef tartare and the truffle pasta. Both tasted good but not very overwhelming, as I have expected and the pasta wasn’t al dente at all. There are way better Italian restaurants in town. But all in all it was good.

Incredibly long waiting times, you wait over an hour for your main course. Unfortunately, the service also leaves a lot to be desired, during the waiting time we were not asked once if we wanted something to drink or something similar… Attention, negative comments will be deleted via a lawyer's letter....

Below average service, mediocre food.

My recent visit to the Supernova Restaurant was very disappointing, I went there for my birthday and the treatment was just bad. Despite having a reservation, we endured a lengthy 30-minute wait before being seated. Once seated, confusion ensued when another group claimed our table, resulting in a chaotic situation that we almost had to split our group into three separate tables. The lady in charge of seating was rude and unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome and like we should be grateful just to have a table. The service was lacking, with a prolonged wait to even place our order. Drinks were only partially delivered and required multiple requests. The ones they didn’t deliver they still had put on the bill. Food orders were also delayed, and when they finally arrived, they were mediocre at best, with excessively long waits even for simple dishes like eggs. While the restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant and 2 of the service staff very nice, the overwhelmed staff in general detracted from the experience. It's disheartening that such issues seem to be common, as confirmed by friends who frequent the establishment.

Service is nice but completely overwhelmed. We waited 30 minutes for our reserved table, another 30 minutes for our cappuccino and 60 minutes for the food. Unfortunately, some drinks were not brought to us at all. The prices correspond to the high Munich standard. The food is delicious!

Honestly this was really one of the worst experiences I had in a long time, first we had to wait for 30 minutes to get our reserved!!! seats... After that we waited almost 1 hour to actually get our food and also some drinks were just not at all delivered only after asking 3 times. And I asked friends who were going here more often who said this is not uncommon!!! Had the feeling some of the service personnel were even annoyed with us due to our requests (not all of them were bad though). I think the restaurant has good food (not overwhelming) but the long wait and the service in general is really not worth it in my opinion. The atmosphere is nice.

Substandard service, average food and prices that are too high

We visited my sister in Munich over Easter. She invited us to dinner at SUPERNOVA. To be on the safe side, we reserved a table, which was good because the restaurant was very busy. We were warmly welcomed and had a nice table by the window. The menu offered a wide selection of starters and main courses and delicious drinks. Overall we had a great evening and the staff were very friendly and professional. We'd love to come back there.

Was there for lunch, food was very good, nothing to complain about.

Super delicious breakfast and the service was very nice and attentive. We were there early on Thursday and it was busy but not full. We would be happy to come back and highly recommend this location.

Great Italian meal with great service and atmosphere

I came to this restaurant by chance with friends and it was a good decision. You receive a friendly welcome and take your time when ordering from the menu. The ambience is very nice and the waiting time for the food to arrive is also short. The selection of drinks is quite good and tastes delicious. Unfortunately we come from very far away but I can definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. During the week at 9:30 there was almost nothing going on, so it was very relaxed. Mega cool facility, it makes you dream of Italy. The service was also very friendly! :-) The food is very good, but in terms of quantity it's not necessarily great value for money. But that doesn't have to be the case.

Pasta was overcooked, ordered a kind of spaghetti bolognese “pasta ragu”, which I could do better at home. Got served in a plate that was completely broken and complained to the waiter who just apologised and ignored it. Giving it two stars because the atmosphere was ok.

My friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner. The first impression was quite nice, until the food came (pasta with clams and shrimp). With every single bite it was sandy in the mouth and made a strong crunch - absolutely unpleasant and more than just unacceptable at these prices. Apart from that, the portion size was not enough and was served in plates with severe scratches. We then mentioned the sand problem with the noodles to a waiter, who didn't even apologize and obviously didn't take us seriously. Absolute impudence.

Update: No longer a recommendation for the Supernova Carpaccio. 18€ for a mini portion with a maximum of 30g of meat and some lamb's lettuce is a bad joke. After speaking to our waiter, others probably see it that way too. Then it's better to take it off the card if it's no longer worthwhile. Trendy restaurant with friendly service and good home-style Italian food. Thanks to the heaters you can still sit outside even in October. The price is still ok for what is on offer.

My friend accidentally ordered pasta with cheese. After she told the waiter that she didn't know that the pasta came with cheese, he kindly offered to bring the pasta again without cheese. But then suddenly, after 2 minutes, a short (probably Italian) man with glasses and a half-bald man came from behind, slammed the same plate onto the table over my friend's shoulder and maliciously said “Enjoy your meal” and ran away so quickly that you could no longer confront him. This kind of behavior is disgusting.

Nice place for coffee and croissant :)

I was extremely impressed by the service staff. Totally accommodating and very friendly. The food and coffee were exactly what I expected from the place. Frittata Salsicca was outstanding.

We ate here with our friends, a great menu, deliciously prepared drinks, friendly professional staff. Happy to recommend.

Because it is part of the Bellezza Group, the quality of the ingredients cannot be questioned. The menu offers fantastic Italian food beyond pizza and pasta. The ambience is one of the top 3 in Munich.

Delicious food. Of course the price is in Munich conditions. I was still missing a bit of kick from the Pinsa, and unfortunately the chili oil was also too weak. But the truffle was really tasty and the beef ragout was great. Always my pleasure.
