have been here a few times now, and the food has been consistently tasty plus they have a great, varied menu. especially recommend the tofu or vegan prawns in puffed rice (so crispy) and the lime pho.

The vegan duck in peanut sauce is incredibly tasty and the mango shake also tastes great. The service is super friendly and works quickly. We really enjoyed it and enjoyed it. We'd love to come back.

My Husband and I have travelled from Canada and must say … we can’t find flavours like this! All the seitan and tofu was so tender and flavourful, the steamed buns were perfection. Each bite of the few dishes we tried were packed with flavour. The portions left us with take away as they were so full and yummy! Highly highly recommend, also a beautiful restaurant.

I discovered the shop with my girlfriend about 2 years ago and I have to say we've been coming back ever since, it's always incredibly tasty, our favorite restaurant in the whole world. The people who work there are extremely friendly and always deal with our special requests with great care.

A welcoming and zen place, quiet and with attentive and thoughtful service. Very extensive menu, we took two starters, some rolls with seaweed and some fried dumplings with curry and coconut sauce. Followed by dishes with crispy veg chicken and sautéed udon. Perfect seitan breading. Strong but balanced flavours, between sweet and savory. If we were residents it would be a regular stop!

I’ve been a frequent customer at this restaurant and often bring new friends to try the food. On October 1st, I visited at 9:45 PM. Unfortunately, the welcome was not very friendly this time, likely due to the time. We were given the menu, but within a minute, the server asked us to place our order. I requested an extra five minutes as we hadn’t decided yet, but the server said that wasn’t possible because it was 9:50, and they had to close the kitchen. When I tried to order a mango lassi, I was told they didn’t have it available because they were missing ingredients. I assumed it was actually because the smoothie machine had already been cleaned, which was visible from the bar. When our food arrived, I asked for two glasses of tap water, and we saw the server pour tap water into two small glasses. At the end of our meal, we were charged €1 for one glass of tap water, which I refused to pay because at no point was I informed that tap water would cost anything. I’m not sure if I did the right thing, but I don’t understand why I would be charged for tap water, especially if it wasn’t filtered or bottled water. The server was unfriendly throughout our visit, and when I refused to pay for the water, she told me I wasn’t welcome to return to the restaurant. As a loyal customer who has brought many new people here, I found this disappointing. One of the other waiters (male) is always very kind and gives great service, so I don’t understand why I would be banned from returning. I still 100% recommend the restaurant because the food is delicious and filling, but only if you don’t get served by the rude waitress.

Sunshine vegan is from far my favorite restaurant from Berlin , when I visit Berlin I am sure to go and eat there , the personal are so nice ! Best vegan restaurant that I’ve been so far , I make sure to talk about it all the time to whoever visit Berlin . The among of meal in the menu is really surprisingly good and the cocktails are also really tasty . Love it there

Really good vegan food, of course also recommended for non-vegans. The vegan duck was so deliciously seasoned and had a great consistency. The “chicken” as well. You don't have to miss out on anything. Prices absolutely okay.

It's a nice restaurant with cool looking interior design and delicious food. I like that everything is vegan. Had the pho, and it was good. They also gave extra cilantro without a problem. It's kind of unfortunate that there are a lot of homeless and mentally unstable people around begging and just being insane... but that's, of course, not the restaurants fault. You can only pay by card at minimum 15 euro and i didn't know that. So since I had no cash on me, I had to pay 15 euro for an 11 euro soup.... I just feel like they could have made an exception and let me pay the 11 euro by card, but they actually charged me 15 and didn't even offer to give anything extra. Due to this, I wouldn't come back since they are just too many good restaurants around that offer the same type of food and also let you pay by card at whatever price. The restaurant was completely empty too, and it was lunchtime. I wouldn't come back, but I do recommend trying it out since the taste is good.

We chose this place, bc it’s all vegan and it was close to where we were at the moment. We do love Asian food, and this place did not disappoint us. We had Peanut Butter Sauce with crispy fried seitan chicken and Ramen (which by the way wasn’t a soup!) with crispy fried seitan duck. We were hungry and left no bit of food, but left satisfied.

Ate here spontaneously on Saturday evening. Soooo delicious and the service is sooo friendly and kind! Portions are very large at reasonable prices, you can take leftovers with you, no problem. The price-performance ratio is right here! For a longer stay, slightly more comfortable chairs wouldn't be bad, at least with a backrest. Maybe I'm just getting old ;-)

the place is in a very pretty zone here in Friedrichshain, the food is 100% vengan and yummy, the service is quite quick and they speak german and english(: 10/10

I'm very sorry, but it was awful! We went with 5 persons and tried each others dishes - every single dish tasted extremely sweet or absolutely dull - not even close to the tastefulness of other Vegan Asian restos in berlin - I love vegan food ♡ but this felt like a betrayal 😆🙈

Vegetarian food restaurant with many options on the menu. There is a menu of the day in which you can choose different options. I chose the rice mix and it came with edamame, peanuts, lettuce, seaweed, red pepper, mango, avocado and as a vegetable protein you could choose between tofu or crispy chiken tofu or crispy duck tofu. They gave us a soup first as if they were starters. With the soup and the rice mix I was already quite full.

Very tasty food, convinced me that it was vegan cuisine. Keep it up

The food is just amazing! I had a lime soup with the House Burger. Very delicious, fast serving and friendly staff. I was very surprised to see they serve Aloevera drinks. Totally recomand for a dinner.

Had ordered dish (113) that was supposed to be spicy, had no descriptions of fruit or similar. Came with mango strips, tasted super sweet and sour. I looked at the map again to make sure I hadn't read it wrong. I did not have. When I pointed this out, I was offered to pour more supposedly spicy sauce over my dish, then it would be better. Tried it... sorry, it stopped after half way. There's a different way to do it cleverly, it would be worth adjusting the description. Really too expensive for that. Well below Berlin standards. A pity. I was happy, but it was really bad.

I'm eating there for the second day in a row. I got a tea with it that was very tasty and didn't even get cold until my food arrived and the statue was cleaned with honor... all 5 stars 😊🫶 delicious

Went here as a treat for the big 30. The menu is huge, the staff were very friendly, and everything I ordered (as well as my friends' orders) was excellent. I particularly recommend the Satay chicken substitute.

I ordered this for take-away & wasn’t disappointed. In Berlin, 95% of vegan eateries are southeast Asian or burgers - this was a refreshing spin on a couple different types of plant-based cuisines. We ordered rice & tofu/seitan stir fries & coconut curry soup & were not disappointed. Fresh ingredients & hefty servings for a righteous price. Thank you!

Amazing food! Everything we ordered was outstanding! Even simple sesame balls here are a level above. Also loved the rolls, dumplings, satay, lolot roll and tarot desert. Bring cash, order extra sesame balls.

Unfortunately I can only rate the restaurant with three stars because I only got my starter after 80 minutes. That was really unbelievable and with the information "The food is coming soon, of course!" you were put off unnecessarily. Apparently other guests have also been waiting for a long time. After paying for the appetizer I left because I had already waited too long. Unfortunately, the specific reason was not mentioned either. At least the appetizer was delicious and I hope other guests had better luck with the wait.

Unfortunately it took an extremely long time for the food to arrive. So long that we didn't experience the food anymore. After 1:20 hours we left in exasperation. Something can always happen in the kitchen, but then open communication would be desirable and whether you want to wait longer. Instead, just put it off with: Of course, food will come soon.

Unfortunately my food came out so spicy that I couldn't eat it. There was no mention of sharp in the text of the German map. The food was then brought to me again (without any spiciness), but the waiter couldn't resist showing me again that the reference to spicy was in the English menu. Otherwise it was tasty, service was friendly, food came quickly - although it was also quite empty.

It’s a nice place if you’re around and spontaneously looking for a fully vegan menu. Sadly the service was extremely slow even tho the restaurant was empty. It seemed like they would favour Lieferando customers. The main dish was quite good but the soups and starters were tasteless. There is definitely room for improvement. The staff was super friendly tho!

This is one of the best vegan places I've eaten in the last 6 years. I HIGHLY recommend it! The seitan duck tasted amazing and the vegetables were cooked to perfection in the chili lemongrass sauce which was perfectly umami. Furthermore the starters were very good especially the seaweed spring rolls. The service was a little slow but it was quite crowded and the employees were helpful and friendly from the first moment to the last.

The staff is very friendly and didn't keep us waiting long. the vegan food is incredibly delicious. There wasn't enough sauce for the fries, but they were easy to order. The quantities of the main courses are just right, so that you are well full.

The food is okay. Large selection, but there are no big differences. Unfortunately the taste was not convincing. In our opinion, the peanut sauce was too weak and the mushroom sauce hardly tasted like mushrooms. The prices are okay, but the portions are a bit small.
