Sunaan Thai Imbiss in Bedburg

I ordered the 20 and 21 dishes, and the food wasn't curry, but soup. It had far too much water content. I poured in all the rice, which also tasted quite stale, and it was still floating around in the soup. €23 for a stale-tasting, unseasoned meal is truly pathetic. I hate to write reviews like this, but this is simply unacceptable.

The food is good. The staff is incredibly friendly. I'd gladly go back.

My absolute favorite snack bar far and wide. I always enjoy ordering there again. The food is delicious. The owner is always friendly. I'm already looking forward to my next meal.

We really enjoy ordering from the Sunaan Thai snack bar on Feldstrasse. Price performance is top and it tastes fantastic! As an inexperienced newbie, I would enter the food names into a search engine and look at the pictures and then decide. Unfortunately, it is currently still a one man show without a delivery service, but his wife is now joining in as support. With a delivery service, the small shop would go through the roof. I really like eating Asian food but I can't tolerate the glutamate in the food. I've never had any problems with him in all these years.

The food is good, but the owner is incredibly unfriendly. If you ask a simple question on the phone, he obviously doesn't understand it, and then he just hangs up 🤷🏻‍♂️.

This is the best Thai restaurant in the area. I'm Thai myself and can say that the food there is truly authentic and delicious!! His homemade, extremely hot sauce tastes very good and I recommend it! He's a really nice owner, and I'm happy to tip him :) I ordered Pad Thai with shrimp again today. And to the reviews about the ambiance: yes, it may not be the most modern, but that in no way detracts from the quality of the delicious food. In Thailand, this wouldn't be a cause for complaint. Unfortunately, the Thai takeaway doesn't make a good impression. The owner is very unfriendly, and his German skills are almost nonexistent, making ordering unnecessarily complicated. Anyone who doesn't know the number of the desired dish is rudely asked to come inside instead of simply helping over the phone. I was particularly struck by the condition of the refrigerator in the sales area: Several flies were flying around the vegetables – it looks unhygienic and unappetizing. This shouldn't happen in a food establishment. I won't eat here again.

Friendly, delicious, good quality, very fresh, generous portions. I can recommend it with a clear conscience, including the finger food. I would recommend the owner to make the snack bar a bit more appealing, both inside and out. A clear recommendation for all of Bedburg! And still reasonably priced...

Delicious!!! I've been going to this snack bar for several years. There have never been any complaints. Portions plentiful...always fresh and tasty.

Unfortunately I can only give 2 stars. The quality of the food has become much worse over time and using cow's milk instead of coconut milk in Thai curries is really cheeky. People with lactose intolerance should be careful here.

We love the food here and always travel 20km there and back. The shop is cheap, has authentic, absolutely fresh Thai food on the menu and the owner is a super funny guy. Theoretically, you should consider the ambience to be less than 5*, but since the shop doesn't offer any seating anyway, that can safely be overlooked in favor of the really first-class food. If there were 6* we would give it.

Had Thai curry with rice and chicken. The dish was delicious. Prices are okay. Furniture felt sticky. In general there is a lack of ambience in the snack bar. Unfortunately not inviting. Staff was very friendly.

We have already eaten the green curry, the glass noodle salad and the Phad Thai. Everything was very tasty and prepared by the very nice owner himself. I'm glad to have found such a good Thai snack bar in Bedburg. Food is not delivered, pickup only.

The food was very tasty. We (4 people) ordered 4 different dishes and starters. No flavor enhancers and fortunately not over-salted. If you want it spicier, you can order a hot sauce. The owner was very nice and competent. The food was prepared quickly and freshly. We come more often now <3

We have now been to this great Thai take-away several times and are repeatedly impressed! Super tasty food, quickly prepared at a reasonable price! A very nice and friendly owner.

In its simplicity they have delicious food for a reasonable price and a sufficient amount of meat and vegetables. It may be a small place and an unsightly tent, but the food is delicious.

Die 5 Sterne beziehen sich auf das Essen. Es war superlecker. Das Ambiente ist erschreckend. Wenn man dort rein geht, fragt man sich, ob man dort wirklich was bestellen will. Sehr seltsam.

I picked something up here for the first time today and picked number 28 with duck. The sauce on the pasta wasn't quite to my taste, but the duck was very tasty, absolutely crispy but still juicy and not dry. The owner was very friendly and the preparation went very quickly. You can only order and collect here. Nevertheless, I would get something here again.

Wenig Gemüse an den gebratenen Nudeln und alle 4 Gerichte, die wir bestellt hatten, waren ziemlich geschmacklos und laff...

Heute nachmittag war ich das 1. Mal in diesem imbiss und bin durchweg enttäuscht. Bestellt wurde die Suppe Tom kha gai das Gericht phad thai mit huhn und rotes thaicurry mit huhn. Die Suppe wurde aus einer fertigen paste hergestellt. Es gab viel Einlage, aber die Portion an sich war für den Preis von € 6,40 doch sehr dürftig. Leider landete ein Teil der Suppe auf dem Tresen eine Menge verblieb im wok. Geschmacklich war die aber gut. Die Verpackung ist unpassend, da sie sich nicht ohne alles zu verschüttet öffnen ließ. Das phad Thai war süß. Die reisnudeln verkocht und matschig, sojasprossen waren gar keine enthalten, das Gericht generell daher sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ich habe schon bedeutend besseres gegessen. Das rote thaicurry war nicht ansatzweise scharf, schmeckte nur nach Kokosmilch. Gewürze fehlten gänzlich, huhn war auch kein stück drin. Das verwendete gemüse war jedoch sehr knackig die Portionen angemessen für den jeweiligen Preis von 8,40€. Die Bedienung/koch war sehr freundlich. Die gewohnte und erwartete Geschmacksexplosion blieb leider komplett aus. Sehr schade

Am Anfang war alles super! Große Portionen, frisch und sehr lecker. In der letzten Zeit ist mir aber aufgefallen dass das Essen nicht immer gut schmeckt, besonders wenn ich dieses Abends bestellt habe. Fleisch war komisch. Geschmack etc. Apropos zur Mittagszeit war immer top. Desweiteren ist mir bei den letzten Bestellung auch aufgefallen dass die Portionen relativ kleiner geworden sind. Sowohl Reis als auch selbst die Portion wo Fleisch mit Gemüsen etc. ist. Ich habe dazu den Inhaber angesprochen und darauf hingewiesen dass anscheinend die Preise aktualisiert werden müssen wenn er mit den alten nicht mehr klar kommt. Einfach so heimlich die Portionen kleiner zu machen finde ich an dieser Stelle nicht angemessen und sogar respektlos zu den Kunden. Solche Sachen müssen zwingend kommuniziert werden. Auf Stand Heute lassen ich den Laden mit 4,5 Sternen zu bewerten. Wir werden sehen wo die Reise hin geht!

Wie immer super lecker,heiss bis zuhause. 21a und die 01 . Selten so leckere Frühlingsrollen mit süss/scharfer sosse gegessen. Der Inhaber ist super freundlich.

Das beste asiatische Essen! Es ist ein Take-Away-Imbiss, kein Restaurant, aber die Qualität die geliefert wird, ist auf dem Niveau eines sehr guten Restaurants! Ein freundlicher Besitzer hinter der Theke, sympathisch, und das Essen überzeugt. Leider liefert er nicht, aber das ist zu verzeihen, für dieses Essen kommt man gerne holen! 5/5 komme regelmäßig wieder

Wir haben heute das erste Mal bestellt,es war sehr lecker. Der Inhaber ist auch sehr freundlich. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist groß,aber nur zum mitnehmen. Am besten telefonisch bestellen,die Karte ist auf der Website,wenn man vor Ort bestellt,kann es ein bisschen dauern.

Heute zum ersten Mal probiert und es war sehr lecker. Das Essen war frisch und sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Teilweise war der Kohl noch ziemlich bissfest, dass ist aber einfach Geschmacksache. Der Eine mag es so der Andere so. Wir können sagen das wir nicht das letzte Mal dort unser Essen waren und können es echt empfehlen. Der nette Mensch der dort das Essen zubereitet hat war sehr freundlich, nett und lustig. Hier kann man definitiv gute Thai Küche bekommen.

Lecker Essen zu günstigen Preisen

Ein eher unterdurchschnittlicher Imbiss. Optisch nicht sehr einladend. Qualität der eingesetzten Lebensmittel war okay. Geschmacklich nix besonderes. Essen war heiss und gut verpackt. Da bin ich von dem Grossteil der "Thai Imbisse" weit aus besseres gewöhnt. Ich werde wohl nicht nochmal wiederkommen.

Leider nicht so gut. Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen haben wir hier heute bestellt. Wie auch schon in einer anderen Bewertung geschrieben, sieht der Imbiss nicht sehr einladend aus. Das soll aber erstmal nichts heißen. Das rote Thai Curry war geschmacklich sehr langweilig, es fehlte an Gewürzen. Die gebratenen Reisnudeln waren sehr ölig und überhaupt nicht gebraten. Auch hier fehlte es an Geschmack. Hier wird es bei diesem einen Besuch bleiben.

Waren heute auf der Durchreise dort. Von außen erst einmal nicht so einladend, Koch aber sehr nett und Essen wirklich sehr lecker.
