The food was disappointing: the chicken cutlet was undercooked, the lamb chop was raw. The waiter was extremely inattentive – we had to call for him several times, but he barely responded. While other guests were served tea, we were ignored. Poor quality, unfriendly service, and overpriced. Not recommended.

We ordered mercimek corbasi, mix grill and tavuk sis. The corba was really good. The meats missed some salt and had an oke taste, but they were extremely juicy and soft, which I really liked. It was however a bit overpriced in my opinion.

I searched for a halal restaurant in Munich and came across this restaurant. The meat is not tasty and the prices are very expensive. I ordered a mixed meat dish for 4 people and paid 180 euros. The meat is not of high quality. I do not recommend visiting this restaurant, unfortunately.

Best halal food in Munich i recommended it

Although it has a famous name, it is an expensive restaurant with small and inadequate portions where I got the classic taste of meatballs and ayran. The ayran didn't have any special taste and was very expensive at 3.5€. Ayran sold for around 1-1.5-2€ in Germany is 3.5€ here. The meatballs were a bit rubbery and I didn't like the taste. It was my first time going to Sultanahmet Köftecisi, but there was no special taste, the prices were expensive and the portions were small, they are not open to criticism either. It is not nice to get answers like "which restaurant gives you what you ask for, I have never heard of it or seen it". I experienced the ego that comes with being famous in Istanbul and I didn't like it. We bought bread with a ration card, and although there weren't many customers, the bread we requested later arrived late, I ate the last meatballs without bread, and the bread was not special either, it was a typical unhealthy white bread. No appetizers, no side dishes, nothing. Everything was overpriced and expensive. There were four of us and one child. If we'd left feeling full, we would have paid around €150-180, so we didn't get any dessert. Finally, they offered tea, thankfully, but we had to ask twice if it was complimentary because of the prices. 😊 Expensive, small portions, not famous for its flavor; it's just a regular meatball. There's no reason to pay that much for the specials. The service was poor, and I found the staff to be a pushover and egotistical. I wouldn't go back or recommend them. I'd love to try the Istanbul branch.

A quick dinner at this Turkish restaurant (our first time). Everything was delicious, from the bread to the dishes; the hummus and tzatziki are definitely worth trying. Fair prices, good and fast service, and a friendly and helpful owner. It's a shame we're leaving Munich tomorrow, but I'd definitely return if the opportunity arises.

For lovers of Turkish kefta, ayran, and konefe. The menu may be a bit sparse, but otherwise delicious. Dog-friendly.

Mashallah. We've been regular visitors to Sultanahmet Köfteci in Munich since it opened. The consistent quality is commendable. The portions are just right. And the taste is always delicious and consistent. The ambiance and warm atmosphere draw us back again and again.

I'll be honest when I criticize, and they know it's complete nonsense. I saw stuffed vine leaves, so I decided to try it. Turns out the ready-made stuffed vine leaves are the same kind you find in cans! 4 pieces of stuffed vine leaves + a glass of tea cost 11 euros 😅 would you laugh or cry? McDonald's offers 4 burgers, 2 sodas, 2 fries, and 2 sauces for that price. They didn't disappoint me again. Stuffed vine leaves are already 1/3 the price of canned ones, while canned ones cost 2 euros 😅 they're making a fool of themselves.

The quality of the meat got the kofta was above par. Amazing flavors and yet simple receipe had a great time.

The hummus was very average and had a strange taste. We ordered a grilled plate and he said it would be enough for one person, but there were two of us, so we ordered a second plate, but we were surprised that the portion was too much for us!! We asked him what food would be suitable for two children, and he said each one had lamb chops, but we were surprised that the portion was too much for them (4 lamb chops with fries and yogurt salad “for one child”). The food became too much for us, and it was a shame what a blessing it was. I don’t want to go into detail, but I felt that there was a bit of exploitation, especially since the bill wasn’t cheap :)

We chose this place for lunch. The menu prices, which include soup, main course (meatballs, chicken, lamb shish) and dessert, are between 13.90 and 15.90. The main course in particular is very filling on its own and the meatballs are tastier than most places in Türkiye. We had the most delicious and affordable meal of our 9-day trip abroad here.

Fantastic food and nice vibes!!

We ordered mixed grill and mutabbal. The mutabbal had a strange taste, like a sting of perfume, something I've never tasted with food! The grills were all undercooked and the chicken was raw and uncooked. We asked him to grill it again to be perfectly cooked, but he returned it to us undercooked. An experience I won't repeat.

Can only recommend taste service price quality location everything fits

This Turkish restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Fair prices, reasonable portions. We ordered the marinated chicken platter and Turkish meatballs. The spiced Middle Eastern flavors were really strong and really good. I wish we had enough room for some dessert but both dishes came with really large toasted bread that went really well with the rest of the meal.

It's not your typical commercial kebab place. It's a rather elegant place with typical Turkish food and a real grill where the meat is grilled to order. This place saved us one night when we were out late and there was nothing open in the area for dinner. We were treated very well, the quality is good, and the service is also good. Unfortunately, they don't sell any alcoholic beverages, so I was left wanting a beer with the burger I had ordered... I'm taking one star off the food just for that 😅

Excellent food, a great reminder of Istanbul in the heart of Munich, hence a beautiful cross and inter cultural experience. Staff are friendly, attentive and cater to all tastes well. We found the dishes fresh, delightfully tasty and the ambiance friendly and un rushed. Multiple pictures and letters on the wall showcasing the 'celebrity' status of the place. We have had a lovely day and food so we say tashakker to the staff.

It is one of the rare places where you can find Turkish delicacies, transportation is very easy in the center of Munich and its meatballs are better than the original Istanbul branch. Be sure to stop by.

The meatballs tasted good, I don't want to take credit for this, but: - The bread is definitely stale, they just brought it after hearing it. - The rice was very bad and dry, we couldn't eat it. - Meatballs are few in number, prices are expensive - There are no tomatoes, only onions and a little bit of ready-made pepper paste on the plate. - We asked for a small amount of yoghurt for the little boy, and they even charged him a portion. - We didn't buy any drinks, but four of us paid 90 euros and left and we weren't satisfied. WCs were also dirty. We are definitely not going again

It was our first dinner place during our stay in Munich for the BAUMA fair. Compared to other places, it is at the top level in terms of speed and taste. I think it is quite filling in terms of portion.

We weren't hungry but the kofta looked so good that we ordered a sandwich anyway. It was super good. Tea was also very good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come here very soon. I can recommend this place to everyone.

We had the opportunity to try this place while we were in Munich for a business trip. The meatballs taste good, but they have a hard consistency, probably because they added baking soda. As for the negative aspects, the meatballs are cooked on a gas grill, not on charcoal. The ventilation works very loudly and disturbs people. It's cold inside, probably because the ventilation works strong. The tables are very nested and old. The leather seats are worn out and have sunk in. They need to be changed urgently. They are not comfortable at all. The waiters need to be trained. He takes orders in his pocket. When it comes to price and performance, the portions are very small and not at all satisfying. The prices are expensive. We paid around 145 Euros for 5 people. You can easily eat your meal at a steak restaurant for these figures. Under normal circumstances, it is very difficult for this business to survive considering these prices and portions, but it probably wins the match because there are too many tourists and walk-in customers.

I was at Sultan Ahmed Köfteci in Munich and tried the mixed grill plate, absolutely recommended! The meat was perfectly grilled, beautifully juicy and incredibly aromatic. The kofta and the lamb in particular were a real highlight. The side dishes were fresh and lovingly prepared – crisp salad, fluffy rice and wonderfully seasoned flatbread. The service was also great: friendly, attentive and fast. You can tell that people cook with heart here. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, you immediately feel welcome. A real taste experience – I’ll definitely be back!

Great experience. We ordered 1 plate of kofte with rice which included a spicy sauce and onion salad. And a plate of kofte with bread and tomato sauce Both of them were really tasty and highly recommended. We also ordered kunafa. Kunafa was okayish Like 6/10 for kunafa because it was really that crunchy from the mid. But 10/10 for koftas. Definitely great Turkish food.
