It shouldn't be too difficult to replace products that have many equivalents. Even though it is difficult, do you think it would be appropriate to put the products of one of the brands that provided the biggest financial support of this massacre on your tables? I think that the Sultanahmet meatball restaurant should be more conscious on this issue, display a fair and humane stance, and take ethical values ​​into consideration. This was outside the hotel I stayed at - and we wanted a quick late-night meal - so headed here. I found out too late they had no licence (for alcohol!). I ordered the Kuzu Cokertime (spiced lamb with vegetables, fries and yoghurt) but somehow it ended up being Tavuk Cokertime (chicken instead of lamb). The vegetables consisted of peppers, mushrooms and onions; the chicken had a great spicy coating but was quite oily and being unceremoniously dumped on top of the fries, it made them soft and soggy. Sadly the yoghurt as also buried underneath, making the chips somewhat creamy; a bit more care with presentation and arrangement on the plate means it wouldn't have all run together, but became a bit "samey" after a while. Took a while to get the bill from a waiter; once our table was cleared no waiting staff were to be found (other than the two in deep conversation with the next table along). I looked elsewhere the next night for something to eat.

We were here recently and absolutely loved it! It was our third time that we came all the way from Frankfurt & the meatballs tasted incredibly delicious - juicy, perfectly seasoned & simply heavenly! The service was attentive & friendly, the atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy & inviting. I will definitely come back & can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food was good, the portions are a bit small for the price. The service is okay, but not really good. The service staff didn't particularly try hard, the waiter was at the table at 2:05 p.m. and told me that there had been no lunch menu for five minutes. In summary, the food is not bad, but the prices are not justified. You can eat better for the money at another restaurant.

Unfortunately, there is hardly anything positive that I could express. The shop is nice, no snack bar, nicely decorated. But that's about it for the positive points in my review. There were four of us, two of us (both eating the same soup of the day), struggling with food poisoning. Soon after visiting the restaurant, she started having vomiting, diarrhea and severe stomach pain. I'd rather not rate the meat dishes at all - massive!! overpriced for what you get. After my comment that the meat was not okay, there was no reaction at all (one of us even didn't eat anything because the dish was so salty). The fact that in the end the waiter doesn't even offer tea or coffee shows that it's time to change a few things here. Starting with hygiene!!!

I was here in this restaurant 10 years ago when it opened. Back then everything was a bit more chaotic, as far as I can remember. However, I was positively surprised, delicious kofta and the portion was big enough. Personal recommendation: Mixed plate 1 portion. I deducted a star because I missed the spices a bit and a Künefe without pistachio is not the original. Otherwise I was very satisfied and would like to come back.

The selection was very small, few and very expensive at around €26 Dessert: Künefe (sweet Turkish specialty) noticeably out of the freezer. I find it unbelievable to charge €8.50 for a small portion that didn't even have pistachios on it. The service was very nice. I ate here a few days ago because I was really craving Turkish cuisine. The service is attentive and quick, the restaurant is clean and well attended. The food is very good and there's nothing wrong with the taste, but it's nothing special either. So I think the prices are a little exaggerated. I had the Köftemix, soup and a cup of Ayran and lost 26 euros. I know everything is getting more expensive. But I think charging 16.50 euros for the Köftemix plate is a bit excessive. As I said, the taste was perfect, but unfortunately not value for money.

The mixed grill plate is freshly prepared and tastes excellent. The service is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

We ate there after an event and had made a reservation, which made sense for Friday evening as all seats were taken at 8 p.m. Excellent quality and preparation of the food! The prices are absolutely reasonable for it. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I thought it was a shame that there were no vegetarian main courses. Only soup or cold starters (which tasted excellent!) were offered at the neighboring table upon request. Unfortunately, points are also deducted for the ambience, the acoustics and lighting are more reminiscent of a snack bar than of an upscale restaurant, which Sultanahmet could certainly be.

We were 3 people sitting down and asked for napkins. We asked for two napkins. This is the situation, there is tea service in Turkish restaurant culture. They also sell tea. I ordered lentil soup, classic meatballs and semolina halva. They kept less lentils in the soup, the taste was not as intense as the ones made in Turkey. The meat of the meatballs was fatty and delicious, but they overcooked the outside. Semolina halva was almost sugarless and tasteless. The German lady serving is very attentive and fast. The restaurant is a bit cramped in terms of decoration.

Köf Köf Burger should have had a better burger bun, everything else was solid.

Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, da die Portionen genau richtig sind. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr schnell und aufmerksam und man wartet kaum auf sein Essen. Von daher nur zu empfehlen!
