Wir waren bei Sultan Erbil in Wuppertal essen. Die Suppe und das frische Brot haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Vorspeisen waren ok, allerdings war uns etwas zu viel Zitrone drin. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir Kebab bestellt. Leider war das Fleisch für unseren Geschmack viel zu fettig. Man kann es essen, aber es war jetzt nicht so, dass wir sagen würden „wow“. Positiv war auf jeden Fall die Sauberkeit – die Tische und auch das Restaurant allgemein waren sauber. Der Kellner war sehr nett und freundlich. Der Chai am Ende war richtig lecker 😋

Bestes kurdisches Restaurant und freundliches Personal 👌

Waren um kurz vor 12 dort mit 4 Personen zu Mittag essen. Positiv zu erwähnen: nettes Personal, vom Haus gab es eine sehr leckere Suppe als Begrüßung. Beim Essen gab es gratis als Ergänzung reichlich leckeres Fladenbrot mit diversen Dips (Hummus). Nach dem Essen wurde uns gratis Tee angeboten! Nun zum Menü: 2 Menüs, die auf der Speisekarte erwähnt waren, waren nicht vorhanden (uns wurde dann was anderes vorgeschlagen). Ich hatte Hähnchen bestellt. Die Unterseite war schwarz (verbrannt) so dass ich nur die Oberseite essen konnte und dies auch ziemlich trocken war. Hat wohl im Vorfeld zu lange auf dem Grill gelegen. Der Reis wurde trocken serviert. Eine Sosse hätte mehr Geschmack gebracht. Der Döner für 6 € war eher klein und wenig für einen Erwachsenen. Hätte ruhig etwas mehr sein können. Trotzdem wünsche ich weiterhin viel Erfolg.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service war ausgezeichnet. Wir würden uns nur wünschen, dass mehr auf die Sauberkeit der Toiletten geachtet wird.

Also Lamm riecht nicht so stark. Es war eher Schaf das riecht extrem und mir war danach sehr übel. Ich kann es leider nicht als beste Dönerladen in Wuppertal bewerten.

Mein Bruder Abu Yusuf, dein Kebab ist zu fettig. Bitte beachte das. Der Fisch ist gut und die anderen Gerichte sind ausgezeichnet. Aber reduziere den Fettgehalt im Kebab. 😁 Und erhöhe den Preis, kein Problem.

Ich bin absolut begeistert! Das Essen war einfach top alles frisch, perfekt gewürzt und richtig lecker. Die Grillplatte war super vielfältig, das Fleisch saftig und auf den Punkt gegrillt. Auch die Beilagen und Vorspeisen waren sehr geschmackvoll und haben das Ganze perfekt abgerundet. Das Personal war ebenfalls sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Preis-Leistung ist hier wirklich unschlagbar. Für die Qualität und die Portionen bekommt man definitiv mehr als man erwartet. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis. Ich kann das Restaurant jedem nur empfehlen und komme auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder!

Raus aus der Schublade, zurück zum Anfang, und weiter geht's! Das Essen war sehr schlecht, das Fleisch nicht richtig durchgebraten, und der Angestellte war sehr unhöflich.

Die bestellte Menge für fünf Personen reichte lediglich für drei. Es wäre vorzuziehen, wenn eine Einrichtung transparent kommuniziert, dass keine Speisen verfügbar sind, anstatt eine unzureichende Portionierung zu liefern, die den Erwartungen der Gäste nicht entspricht. Des Weiteren war die Qualität der Speisen nicht zufriedenstellend. Trotz direkter Rückmeldung wurde weder eine Preisanpassung noch eine andere Form der Kompensation angeboten. Für Gäste, die Wert auf eine angemessene Portionsgröße und hohe Geschmacksqualität legen, kann dieses Restaurant nicht empfohlen werden.

Ich habe einen Kebab bestellt – zuerst war er salzlos, danach kam er extrem salzig. Wahrscheinlich wurde er nicht gut durchgeknetet, deshalb hat er nicht gut geschmeckt. Wir haben die Döner-Tasche nur mit Soße, Salat und Zwiebeln bestellt, aber sie haben keine Soße hineingetan, stattdessen Tomaten hinzugefügt und es war ein seltsames Gewürz im Döner, das nicht gut geschmeckt hat. Als Vorspeise haben sie uns Suppe und Meze geschenkt, was sehr höflich war, aber sie haben vergessen, Brot zu bringen. Die leeren Suppenteller wurden auch nicht vom Tisch abgeräumt. Wir haben eine gemischte Kebab-Pfanne bestellt, aber es wurde kein Servierteller gebracht!!! Die Musik war zu laut und störend. Aber die Linsensuppe war sehr lecker.

Sultan Erbil Restaurant First of all I want to start with the staff very friendly welcoming and always smiling. The food was absolutely amazing. The kebab and tekka were just wow perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The soups were very delicious and the salad was fresh and really good as well. One thing that truly stood out was the hot, freshly baked bread simply amazing and unforgettable. Special thanks to Abu Yusuf for the great hospitality and wonderful experience. I will definitely come back again.

We wanted to enjoy authentic Turkish food. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and headed straight there. The restaurant was completely packed, but we were asked to wait briefly next door. It wasn't long before we were shown to our table. After looking at the menu, we made our choices and ordered. The food, especially the kebabs, was absolutely delicious! We were thrilled. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back! Highly recommended! The only thing we didn't like was the noise level. But that's to be expected when it's busy 🤷‍♀️ Keep up the good work!

Today I went from Düsseldorf to Sultan Erbil restaurant and ordered 5 people's portions of kebab with biryani. When I got home, we saw they hadn't put any biryani in it 😭

It's really great, the staff are very friendly, the food is incredibly delicious, and as a welcome gift, you get bread, warm soup, and a dipping plate free of charge – that's truly hospitable. We even come all the way from Hattingen just to eat here; I can highly recommend it.

Honestly, I was at the restaurant yesterday, and I came from Belgium. It's a truly classy restaurant, the service is good, the food is excellent, and they have everything you could want.

Yesterday was our first time at this restaurant – and we drove the entire 210 km from Wiesbaden to Wuppertal because of the many excellent reviews for their Iraqi kebab. Our first impression was very positive: a cozy atmosphere, a friendly welcome, and a clean, freshly cleaned table. To our surprise, we were immediately served fresh soup and a delicious appetizer platter – both complimentary. We then ordered 1 kg of kebab. Our daughter, who doesn't usually eat much, even received a small portion of rice with okra soup at our request. As for the kebab: The portion was generous, the meat incredibly delicious and authentically Iraqi – and all at a very fair price. The accompanying bread was also very tasty and fresh. After the meal, we were offered tea, of course, and also received complimentary sweets. The service was attentive, friendly, and always available. We also bought some samoon bread to take away. The restrooms are also very clean and modern. We highly recommend this restaurant and hope it maintains this high standard. We'll be back! Thank you so much – it was really fun eating at your place!

The most delicious food, the warmest welcome, fresh Iraqi bread, and exceptional hospitality. The staff are incredibly polite, and the owner is very refined and generous. They greet you with a wonderful bowl of lentil soup, appetizers, and bread. Their prices are excellent for the service, and even the restrooms are very clean.
