Schnelle Bedienung, mir hat es sehr lecker geschmeckt (Döner komplett). Salattasche war auch lecker. Kleine Sitzecke.

Der beste Döner/Imbiss weit und breit. Wir wohnen zwar mittlerweile über eine Stunde von Wuppertal entfernt, holen uns aber ab und zu immer noch was beim Bosporus Grill! Ich bin mittlerweile seit fast 15 Jahren Kundin und gedenke das auch zu bleiben ! Sehr guter Laden mit netter Belegschaft!

Zu wenig Fleisch im Döner. Sonst ganz gut.

Vergisst jeden Döner den ihr bisher gesessen habt. Das ist pures Fleisch und schmeckt wie vom Holzkohlegrill. Total unscheinbar der Laden, kann es aber mit jedem Döner aufnehmen, was sich Steak Döner nennt.

Großartiher Döner. Nachdem ich einige Reddit Foren durch hatte, habe ich mich im Berufsverkehr von Barmen nach Vohwinkel gequält, um den so hochgelobten Döner zu verkosten. Ich würde nicht enttäuscht. Sowohl vom Geschmack, als auch von der Menge. Das Ambiente läd nicht Grade zum verweilen ein, dennoch würde ich hier ausgezeichnet und herzlich mit Service versorgt. Kartenzahlung möglich. Keine Terrasse, schwierige Parkplatzsituation. Am Besten kurz beim Lidl um die Ecke parken.

Von außen vielleicht unscheinbar, aber geschmacklich echt eine andere Liga 🙌 Das Dönerfleisch schmeckt nach richtigem Fleisch und nicht wie bei vielen anderen so „schwer“, dass man sich danach komplett voll fühlt. Außerdem super freundliche Mitarbeiter, die wirklich zuhören und auf Wünsche eingehen. Kommen aus Leichlingen gerne hier her, wenn wir Lust auf Döner haben 👍

Der Döner war geschmacklich echt lecker, aber der Service hat mich enttäuscht. Es wurde kaltes Fleisch verwendet, das schon länger abgeschnitten herumlag, statt frisches Fleisch vom Spieß zu nehmen. Fand ich leider respektlos gegenüber den Kunden. Schade

Das Essen schmeckt wie immer 1A. Aber der Service wird immer schlimmer !!!! Telefonische Bestellungen werden angenommen und vergessen . Im 2 Monaten schon 7 mal vorgekommen.

Achtung! Deutsche bekommen hier gerne mal das kalte Fleisch, dass schon vor längerer Zeit abgeschnitten wurde. Der Verkäufer sagte noch auf türkisch zu einem anderen Kunden, dass er uns das kalte Fleisch gibt und dem türkischen Kunden dann frisches abschneidet. Absolute Frechheit, wenn ihr was gegen deutsche habt, hängt doch einfach direkt ein Schild aus. Das Fleisch an sich hat Qualität, die Verkäufer werten Menschen jedoch aufgrund ihrer Ethnie ab und drehen denen je nach Situation den "Müll" an, der noch rumliegt. Der gesamte Döner war eiskalt. Ekelhaft. Nie wieder in diesen Laden :)

Ich bin heute spontan vor dem Training rein, weil ich Hunger hatte und wollte vor Ort essen. Zunächst musste ich mir meinen Tisch selber sauber machen, weil der noch voller Krümel war. Die Art wieder Döner belegt wurde, habe ich so noch nie gesehen und ich hatte oben einfach nur einen Berg Salat und unten nur Fleisch, nicht mein Geschmack. Geschmacklich war es Nichts besonderes, aber auch nicht schlecht. Aber würde ich trotzdem nicht noch einmal hingehen.

Der Döner kostet 7 Euro. Den Döner habe ich auf die Hand genommen, da es im Laden nur einen Tisch gibt, der bereits besetzt war. Der Spieß ist hausgemacht und das Fleisch schmeckt ganz gut. Den Döner habe ich mit allem bestellt. Die Menge war genau richtig, sodass es nicht zu einer Sauerei im Auto kam (wie erwähnt gibt es ja nur eine Sitzmöglichkeit im Laden). Der Laden war zum Zeitpunkt des Besuchs leider sehr überlaufen (Sonntag gg 18 Uhr). Ich musste mich gg die Heizung anlehnen, die sehr warm war, und habe den Döner dann auf die Hand direkt nach draußen in die Kälte genommen, was leider dazu geführt hat, dass ich mich erkältet habe (Ich war sowieso schon angeschlagen). Es hat aber auch nicht geholfen, dass der Laden sehr voll (und warm) und gefühlt jeder zweite am Husten war. Dafür kann der Laden aber natürlich nichts. Wenn überhaupt, dann ist es eher ein gutes Zeichen, wenn der Laden überlaufen ist.

Update: Wer in Holland schon mal "Kapsalon" gegessen hat und das hier vermisst: rennt zum Bosporus und bestellt "Bosporus Spezial"!!!!!!! 💖💖💖 Sehr guter Döner! Fleisch, Pommes und Salat haben eine gute Qualität und haben super geschmeckt! Die Saucen waren ebenfalls lecker und in ausreichender Menge drauf, aber nicht so, dass einem alles über die Finger läuft. Brot kein 08/15 Fladenbrot und gut angegrillt. Noch besser war allerdings der nette Service! Was wir heute als Sonderleistung bekommen haben, können wir hier nicht schreiben, sonst kommen 100 Leute und wollen dasselbe😂 Dass es in der heutigen Zeit überhaupt noch Menschen gibt, die solche Werte haben - Hut ab! Vielen Dank und auf jeden Fall bis morgen!!!

Sehr nett und alles mit Ruhe zubereitet. Essen ist Mega lecker. Kein Fett bzw. Ganz wenig. Mega Geschmack, bester Döner in der Umgebung.

Wir sind spontan rein und wurden schnell satt. Der Döner war wirklich in Ordnung. Das Fleisch hat mich positiv überrascht. Keine gepresste Masse, sondern richtige Stücke, gut gewürzt und schön saftig. Man merkt sofort: Hier legt man Wert auf Qualität. Brot und Soßen sind okay. Pommes heiß und knusprig. Super!

Best doner kebab in the valley for years.

The Doner was SO GOOD! It doesn't have sitting. We had the Doner kebab and on the plate with French fries. All very good.

Anyone who wants the real taste of döner can come with peace of mind. It's always fresh and delicious. The owners and staff are equally wonderful people. This shop has been open for over 20 years and has never failed.

It's a chip shop and always very crowded; people often wait right outside the door. Pick-up therefore takes a while.

I ordered a lahmacun with meat – it tasted fine at first. But a few hours later I felt really sick: vomiting, diarrhea, the whole nine yards. I actually thought the place was good, but that was an expensive mistake.

The best in Vohwinkel by far! The food is a bit more expensive, but far above the standard for restaurants ❤️💪🏼

Stable doner kebab meat and bread homemade Good value for money

Constantly changing employees, and accordingly, always varying quality. Unfortunately, you never know what to expect. It used to be much better. After having this experience several times now, I'll have to resort to one of the numerous alternatives nearby... What a shame.

Best kebab I've had in Wuppertal. The meat is especially delicious! I went there with my 18-month-old daughter and just got a small portion of fries for her. That's not a given! Definitely recommend it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Spontaneously dropped in – spontaneously full. The doner kebab (€7) was solid, with feta cheese (+€1) and ayran (€2). The meat is truly the hero of the day here: no ground meat, but nice slices, spicy, robust, almost bordering on "too much" – but I really enjoyed it. 🌯👌 The bread and sauces are okay, filling, but nothing you'd tell your grandchildren about later. 😅 The extra charge for feta cheese, on the other hand, is almost comical – €1 for a handful of crumbs seems more like an exclusive topping from outer space. Conclusion: The meat is top-notch, the rest is solid – and if the bread gets any better, this place could end up being truly dangerously delicious!

The doner kebab here at the Bosporus Grill in Vohwinkel is truly fresh and delicious. The consistently friendly and courteous staff deserve special mention. One minor criticism is that the doner kebab could have a bit more meat. Otherwise, a top-notch place that I'd happily recommend!

They wanted to charge us €1.50!!! We had stomach pains and flatulence after eating and had to go to our favorite paramedic afterward.

On our way home, we stopped here and bought two kebabs to take home. The price here was €7, like almost everywhere else, but I think you can expect something for that. The kebab... it was kind of okay... there was very little sauce; you had to search for it or try to taste it. The bread roll or flatbread wasn't homemade, but probably bought from a wholesaler and unfortunately, it was very dry. I also understand the definition of "spicy" differently, but this one, like the regular sauces, was impossible to identify. A real shame!

After "ages," I finally had a Bosporus kebab. It will be ages before I return. The kebab is getting smaller and smaller. The filling is getting more and more economical. The first kebab that can be folded again. If you're keen on getting ripped off...here you go. Even the pre-baked kebab from the supermarket tastes better.

Wasn't that impressed. The doner kebab owner put the wrong toppings on the doner kebab twice. Then an extra request for more meat cost me an extra €4 at the checkout! Never again

I've been eating there for at least 30 years, but I'm not going to put up with it anymore. The fact that everything's getting more expensive is somehow still acceptable. But the kebabs have almost halved in size... The taste used to be better! And then they added the 2nd bill to their favor :-( I'm leaving with my family!

The doner kebab is super delicious. You won't find it as good anywhere else as here. The price is reasonable, too. The small one is €5, the large one is €7. I got two large fries with mayo today and the price almost made me fall off my chair. €10.40 for two large fries with mayo!! I've never paid that much, even at an amusement park! I'll always come back for the doner. Not for the fries.

Since it first opened in 1987, I've been a loyal customer of this Wuppertal kebab institution and have never been disappointed! The quality of the homemade kebab skewers combined with the sauces and vegetable side dishes is still unsurpassed! It's precisely this interplay of the individual ingredients at the Bosporus Grill that makes the perfect Dürum for me! Since I work abroad (in the Ruhr area), I can compare one or two kebabs with those from my home country 😜 But so far, in my opinion, no other "foreign" kebab has been able to compete with the one from the Bosporus Grill! If you want, you can also order "double meat" for 10 euros! Of course, that's a lot of money these days, but you can, or should, treat yourself to that every now and then!! The only criticism here is that the bread is too small for the amount of meat. Therefore, I only give it 8.8 out of 10 stars. My suggestion here would be to put the amount of meat into a delicious half-flatbread (as was customary on the Bosporus in 1987) and sell the whole thing under the name "Dürüm 1987"!?

Good place, but the service has deteriorated. Appeal to the owner - if you order and say you'll be there in 15 minutes and your order is forgotten, that's one thing. If you don't want rice or fries on your kebab plate, but instead want a bit more meat because you're on a diet and have to pay €4 for it, it's cheeky. It's not about the money, but simply that as a good restaurateur, you're more likely to give something on the house. It just has a strange aftertaste. As a customer, I was in a hurry and had to wait 15 minutes longer. The food is solid for Wuppertal standards.

If you want to eat real kebabs with a first-class taste, you absolutely have to go to Bosporus Grill. Truly the number 1 in Wuppertal! The meat there is still real meat and of superb quality.

I don't know why this place is all the hype. We tried it and I have to say that it didn't convince me at all. The meat was dry and the combination with the salad and sauces was completely wrong. The skewer may be homemade but what good is that to me if the taste is completely gone when you bite into it and it tastes like rubber. Don't believe everything the influencers say. In reality, it's usually different to what's presented in the video, which was the case in the shop. That was my first and last visit because there are much better ones in the valley.

I like to eat kebab a lot, all over Germany. I live in the valley and according to Holle it's worth a visit. So go, order and test it. Ate inside... It is not served on a plate but on aluminum foil. Meat is great, a little dry. Sauces are extremely bad...too much coriander, very thin, very flat. Bread is a standard bread, tastes good but tears quickly. Can't understand the hype, even if you compromise, the Haus des Doner is better. Yes, the meat is different there but the overall package is significantly better there. The place is old, two mini tables, old chairs, dirty walls, dirty corners. Nen ayran 2 euros. Meat is the only highlight but Haus des Döner or any Billo Gyros is much better!

The kebab here used to be the best in Wuppertal - really tasty! Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated significantly. The previous taste is completely gone. The meat is tough, way too salty and just not good. In the end you just think: That was probably a shot in the oven.

Delicious kebab, price OK, little seating

The kebab is a homemade skewer and simply looks powerful. I ordered a kebab (with tomatoes and iceberg lettuce, no sauces). The meat is very tasty and the bread is crispy. In addition to kebab, there is also pizza, lahmacun and pide.

The meat tastes like rubber. A kebab box costs €10 and has just as much meat in it as others that only cost €5.50. Fries ok. You can really forget the rest. The main thing is to open a kebab shop but have no idea about business. The meat is sold even though it was not yet fully cooked, and burnt pieces are available for free. Alternative: hammer grill

Unfortunately, I have to update my review. For some time now, they've only been offering a standard doner kebab instead of a flatbread. However, the prices are anything but standard. It's no longer worth it for me.

They make a very good doner kebab here at the Bosphorus Grill. The meat tastes just as good as the appetizing skewer suggests. Not a standard meat skewer, but old school homemade, very good. The kebab meat is not overly seasoned, which is also very positive. However, it could have been toasted a little more before going into my sandwich. The highlight is actually the kebab roll. Modernly elongated, it feels good in the hand, really crispy with lots of sesame and black cumin. Yummy! Unfortunately, the meat content was too little for me in relation to the salad. And yes, I have to say that I wasn't full. And that really doesn't happen very often with a doner kebab. It still tasted very good! Four stars, would come again.

Top kebab. Juicy and very well seasoned meat. Warm fresh bread. A 10/10. Unfortunately, the store offers almost no space to sit down and you can still only pay in cash. That's no longer possible today!! Please change that!

What should I say I have been visiting the store since I was 12 years old, so for 28 years. I used to live nearby and now live almost 200 kilometers away. Just for this unbeatable kebab, I occasionally take the trip from Paderborn to Wuppertal to let old memories wander. For me one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten... and I've tried many. ;) I can't understand the bad reviews at all, maybe you should take a look at yourself if you weren't friendly yourself. The team is great, as is the meat. Almost perfect! Real 100% veal meat, no chicken shit and certainly not the disgusting minced meat that makes you sick!

I can only recommend the best kebab I have ever eaten

I saw a video on the internet that there was supposed to be really good kebab here and as luck would have it, I was in Wuppertal. The crowd was correspondingly large but was handled well by the team. To the kebab. The bread was rather soft but in my opinion very suitable for a kebab. The vegetables weren't too much and didn't overpower the kebab. So now to the meat. Handmade skewer combined with years of experience and you really tasted it. Absolutely juicy and tasty. The sauce didn't cover anything up but refined the taste. It was very good and you should try it

Unfortunately, the crispy, triangular flatbread has been replaced with a standard kebab bread like you can get elsewhere. Unfortunately disappointing in connection with the price increases.

Everything was really great. Just one thing. Please put a little more kebab meat in the bread. As far as I'm concerned, even €1 more expensive isn't a problem. With a little more meat, the kebab comes into its own much better and finally stands out as the best kebab (!) in Vohwinkel. Everyone else is just rotisserie anyway

Consistently good quality for over 30 years. No pressed meat, no minced meat, but a homemade skewer of delicious veal. Prices are now quite high, but it's better that way than poor quality like in many other kebab shops. Unfortunately no delivery service and no card payment. That would be desirable, otherwise everything is really great.

Very tasty and very friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant is a bit small and has few tables/space. Tends to be a bit expensive, but high quality.

The food here tastes pretty good, but even though I'm a fan of paying with cash, these days they should offer card payments... hence only 4 stars.

Timeless kebab shop in Wuppertal on Kaiserstraße. I've been eating my kebab there for years. Despite the fact that I no longer live in Wuppertal, I always go to Wuppertal for a kebab and then here. This kebab doesn't disappoint and for €7 you'll definitely be full with the delicious bread and fresh ingredients.

Doner kebab is not off the shelf, although not from the catering service but really handmade and much spicier and tastier than any meat I have had before. Really super fresh salads and delicious sauce. All in all, by far the best kebab I've ever had!

Unfortunately the bread changed again! The great, crunchy flatbread was replaced with standard kebab bread pockets. Not good at all! This has been a reason, almost a unique selling point, to buy a kebab there for decades. In addition to the meat skewers from our own production. On top of that, the regular kebab breads are smaller and the price was also increased to €7 at some point in the last few weeks. I was really disappointed! After more than 35 years, I currently see no reason to go there anymore.

The best kebab shop in Wuppertal. I've been eating there all my life and am happy to take longer journeys. The skewer is homemade (no pressed meat) and the meat is served in real flatbread. Really highly recommended! Just know that it's more for picking up and not for lingering as there are hardly any seats.
