Sultan in Bad Kreuznach

A very friendly and welcoming restaurant with an attractive menu. The doner kebab is made with poultry. We had dürüm with cheese. It was delicious. Besides uludağ, Fanta, and apple spritzer, they also offered homemade ayran. The taste was excellent. The tea was complimentary. The owner was very friendly. We'll gladly come back.

Unfortunately, I have to adjust my review due to the new owner. The taste is no longer what it used to be under the previous owner. The portions are now more for children, and the quality and taste of the food are now rather off-putting. It's a shame. Unfortunately, it's no longer worth a visit.

Top-notch kebabs at very fair prices. Don't let the unconstructive hate speech put you off – by comparison, it's definitely one of the best in Bad Kreuznach!

Used to be the best kebab shop in Kreuznach... Now one of the worst... ATTENTION! NO KEBAB HERE!!! ONLY CHICKEN KEBAB The menu says kebab, but there's no kebab meat. Only chicken. This is misleading to customers.

PLEASE PEOPLE DON'T ORDER OR EAT THERE!!! We ordered there... The food was inedible. Far too fatty and the meat tasted of NOTHING. The packaging of the kebab reminded me of a Temu order from China. After two bites, it was time to call it a day. Stomach pain and feeling unwell were the result. The health department will be informed. DISGUSTING. Close your shop. You only sell junk and rely on the previous owner's good reviews. I should have taken pictures beforehand. I can upload pictures of my vomit.

Sultan is unfortunately no longer what it used to be. The new owner only took over the name, not the quality. For my taste, the place could be cleaner. The notice outside says that a small doner kebab costs €4.50 and a Coke €2, so we would have paid €13 for two small doner kebabs and two Cokes. In fact, we had to pay €18. When we asked, they pretended they didn't understand us. There are other price lists on the table, and we didn't get €18 there either. As we were leaving, we saw a lot of mosquitoes on the display. We should have looked more closely beforehand. It was our last time there. A shame, no comparison to the previous one.

It used to be top-notch with the old owner and true sultan. No longer recommended and a case for the health department. Dead flies and cobwebs on the window and windowsill. Tables were dirty, and the napkin was black after we wiped it over the tabletop ourselves. The spice jars and menu were completely sticky. There was no hand soap in the restroom, and the sink was dirty. Now for the food: Little flavor and very greasy. Half a day later, I wanted to get it all out of my body as quickly as possible.

Only the name remains: Sultan was the benchmark in KH, the first kebab shop in town over 30 years ago: juicy meat, deluxe sauce, and a pleasant wait in line to get out onto the street on Friday/Saturday evenings. What I got there today: greasy chicken dürüm in a mini cone, flies buzzing around the ingredients counter... holy cow, what a disappointment.

Unfortunately, the taste used to be more convincing. The bread was homemade, there were more than four types of vegetables on the falafel sandwich, and it was overall better. It's never been recommended for sitting down, but it's always been worth it as a takeout option.

No good kebab would be deducted for 7€ for a bad kebab plate with nothing on it, I would not recommend it

I've been eating kebab plates for 20 years, but I've never had anything like today. It was so bad, and there was very little on the plate. The price didn't match the menu either. Normally, I wouldn't give it a star. Not recommended!!!!!

It used to be great, but now it's awful. What a crowded place it used to be: Saturday nights after the movies or the "party mile" for a kebab at Sultan. What is it like today? A place filled with cardboard boxes, staff who are down to earth to smile, a kebab that consists only of meat, lettuce, half a slice of tomato, and a dollop of sauce, and tastes like nothing. All for 6 euros. I should have gotten a pretzel from Ditsch instead... It's a shame the place has changed so much, but I already knew something like this when I walked in. It used to be packed, now it's completely empty...

I used to love coming here! I used to tell everyone, "Go to Sultan Döner," but now it's PURE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I came in, said, "I'm really looking forward to being back!" Ordered... After waiting for about 20-30 minutes, I went downstairs, and before I could say anything, everyone seriously asked me if I wanted to order something!!!🤯🤬🤬🤬 I said I'd been waiting a long time, and they just smiled and brushed it off as if it were nothing! I said I was leaving! Then suddenly I heard a cry of, "Oh, I forgot, I can go now!" What a pathetic joke! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

We regularly order from Sultan and have them delivered. At all times it was fresh, tasty and friendly. Really great service! But today was absolutely amazing. It cost 21€ but I only had 20€ ready, it wouldn't have been a problem to find the euro and a tip, but the delivery man didn't do it. I thought that was great, generous and generous. Things like that don't happen often. Thanks for the goodwill! I'll return the favor next time. Keep it up.

This has little to do with doner kebabs or lamacum. Tasteless in every respect! All that remains of the famous Sultan in Bad Kreuznach is the name, but nothing more.

Today we spontaneously came back after years (the Christmas market was completely overcrowded). The owner has since changed; the current one has been there for about two years. We received a very warm welcome. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent; we got our own drinks from the fridge and they were bottled (not unusual for a snack bar). Since we had a table upstairs, the food was served to us. It arrived promptly and hot. All in all, we were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Crunchy salad with tuna and onions

Fresh, authentic, delicious! Every Friday you can finally get Mantu/o if you wish. The original Afghan Kabuli Palau is also highly recommended. This is available every Saturday from 1 p.m. Not only does it look good but it tastes fantastic too!!! Thank you! Keep it up men! It keeps getting better! Please stay so good!

Update: the quality has deteriorated a lot, the chicken meat is very fatty and the size of the chicken kebab has become extremely smaller for a lot more money. One of my favorite shops since I was at school. Tasty, clean, friendly.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it once was. I've been coming here for years, but recently I was disappointed for the first time. The meat tasted almost like nothing and the kebab was generally very weak. The service was friendly and the portion was appropriate, but I was more used to the taste. Maybe it was because I was there shortly before closing time when the kebab skewer had already been taken down, but they still got me some (temporarily stored) meat from somewhere

The operators were very friendly. The kebab was good, but nothing special. Price-performance ratio is okay. Our daughter was given a lollipop, which was very sweet

Small but nice, nice and fast service Delicious dishes

We ordered yesterday evening, the delivery time was met, the kebab was a joke, there was really only a small amount of meat on it, we even specified extra meat and sheep's cheese on the Lieferandoapp. Even for a normal kebab the amount of meat was not enough (the kebab was 1.5 cm wide) under these circumstances I will not place another order here.

Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen! Ich habe einen Döner bestellt und das Fleisch war minderste Qualität (Knorpel,Sehnen), die Knoblauchsoße hat mir den Rest gegeben. Das Fladenbrot war das einzig gute an dem Döner, konnte mich aber nicht davon überzeugen den Döner zu verspeisen, weil mir der Appetit bereits vergangen war! Die Nuggets waren mehr Panade als Fleisch und total trocken. Zudem wurde 1 Portion Pommes bestellt, bezahlt und nicht mitgeliefert. Alles in allem, nicht zu empfehlen!

Richtig gut der döner war sehr lecker

Wenn man das bekommen möchte, was man nicht bestellt hat, ist man bestens aufgehoben. Man bestellt Chicken, bekommt Lamm. Man bestellt Lamm, erhält Chicken. Fehlende sprachliche Kompetenzen.

Guter döner! Besonders bekannt für den chicken dürüm im Maisbrot Nur zu empfehlen.

War vor 8 Wochen dort Döner war mega lecker! Waren heute dort und ich hatte gefühlt einen Veggi Döner fast nur Salat kaum Fleisch dann noch Rucola Blätter drauf! Fand das ich heute seid Langem den schlechtesten Döner seid Langem hatte! Sehr schade ☹️

Früher, und ich kenne den Laden schon lange, war es mal richtig gut, aber jetzt hatte ich schon mehrfach das Gefühl, daß das Fleisch minderwertig ist und die Portionen immer kleiner werden. Ich finde für 6,50 (Döner) kann man mehr erwarten. Schade.

Für mich der beste Döner in ganz Bad Kreuznach! Preis-Leistung und Service einwandfrei! Wir gehen gerne dort hin.

Falafel Sandwich der absolute Wahnsinn! Der Mann findet das es der Beste Döner ist den es momentan hier in der Gegend gibt. Das richtige Brot und die Knoblauchsauce der Knaller!

Sehr zu empfehlen. Leckeres Fleisch. Service total nett und geht auf Wünsche ein. Kommt vorbei und überzeugt euch selbst!

Sehr guter Döner und war schon bei mehreren Dönerläden. Selbst Überregional habe ich selten einen so guten Döner gegessen. Sehr nette Leute da und immer sauber. Sogar selbstgemachte Ayran war mega lecker! Chicken Dürüm und dazu selbstgemachte Ayran. Perfekte Kombi!
